“I got married at twenty. I woke up one day and my dad told me am getting married the next day. I was so devastated because getting married at such age wasn’t my plan.
The day I got married was the day I set my eyes on your dad. I was so angry at everyone, I didn’t know that fixed marriage would change my life forever.
Josie make it work and tolerate whatever I did and because of our sudden marriage he had to break up with his ex girlfriend Sonia.
We later fall in love and consummated our marriage having Miguel as our first child then you and that is it Nadine, and till now I think I’ve got the best husband, ” Julianna narrated to Nadine how her marriage to Josie was because they were betrothed too.
“Your marriage with Dad work out because you were destined for each other. It was fate that brought you two together through being betrothed but me- h’ll No! I don’t love Leonard.
We will never have a smooth marriage like yours with him. It Lorenzo I love Mom, I love Enzo, ” Nadine cried.
Julianna pull her into a hugged.
” Shhh! It’s okay baby. I promise to talk to your dad. You’re not alone in this,” Julianna cooed.
” I gat you on this. If you don’t love Leonard then so be it, we can’t force you to marry him, that will be so selfish of us, ”
” Thank you Mom. Please help me talk to Dad,” Nadine pleaded holding her hands.
“I will. If Lorenzo is your happiness then so be it. I hate to see you in tears, ” Julianna wipe her tears and hugged her.
The next morning..
Mr Josie rushed to work without having breakfast with his family.
“Dad is still angry,” Miguel muttered and he sip from his coffee.
” Am supposed to be the one angry and not him because he’s forcing me do what I don’t want, ” Nadine sighed.
” He’s just disappointed in you,” Julianna spoke.
“I know. He thinks am still that little obidient Nadine that does everything he said, ”
” It’s okay Nadine.
As much as I don’t like Lorenzo I also won’t want you to get married to someone you don’t love.
If you don’t like Leonard then we will find a way out even thou it gonna hurt dad so much,” Miguel said while Nadine smile.
” Thanks bro, ” she smile sadly as she stood up.
” I have to leave now,” she kssed her mom on the forehead before leaving for work.
“My poor baby. She loves that Lorenzo so much,” Julianna said sadly.
“And I have try talking to your dad last night but he wouldn’t listen. He said just the way our marriage work out that’s the same way he expects Nadine to learn to love Leon and make her marriage work, he’s also concerned about the company, ”
” Maybe Nadine should just forget about that Lorenzo.
Till now, I still haven’t forgotten what he did to Dianne and he’s still pushing himself by all means to be a part of this family knowing fully well he’s not welcome. I hate his guts! Miguel sighed sadly.

Nadine sat down quietly in her office, lost in her thoughts. The thought of getting married to Leonard was irritating her. She loved Lorenzo with all her life so how can she just wake up one day and be told to marry someone she doesn’t even have feelings for.
Lorenzo has been calling her since yesterday but she wasn’t picking up his call.
Her secretary walked in jolting her out of her own thoughts.
“Ma’am, someone dropped this for you,” the lady said as she kept the paper bag on the table.
“Okay,” was all Nadine could say as her secretary walked out. She slowly opened the paper bag and removed the container. She opened it and the aroma of her favorite food hit her nostril.
“This must be Lorenzo cooking,” she smile thinking of that. She check the time and was surprised to see it lunch time already. She hasn’t done anything since morning and here are piles of work waiting for her.
“Don’t let this get to you Nadine, you’re not getting married to Leonard and that’s final! She assured herself.
Suddenly her phone beep and a message dropped in from Lorenzo.
?Hope you’re enjoying your lunch**
Nadine smiled reading that as she quickly called him.
?”Enzo,” she called
?”You got me so worried..
?” Am sorry for snubbing your calls. I was just so busy,” she sighed sadly and Lorenzo sense the sadness in her voice.
? “You’re not happy, maybe I should come right away,”
?” You don’t have to. I have a pile of work waiting for me. I will just enjoy my meal now and we can meet up later in the evening,”?
? ” Okay then. Take care Nadine.
Nadine smile as she ate her lunch quietly. Lorenzo just Know how to make her feel alright and with his cooking she felt so relief.
“Oh,” Leonard smirked as he walked into her office, disappointed to see her eating.
“You’ve already order for lunch. I was planning to take you out for lunch,” he said as he sat sdown on the empty seat opposite to her.
“That looks delicious,” he smiled staring at the food she was eating.
“don’t ruin my special moment Leon. I want to be alone,” Nadine said with a straight face.
” Am just practicing being a good husband to my future wife. We are getting married next month Nadine please let make it work.
I love you and I would be glad if you give me the chance to love and care for you,”
“can you just let me eat in peace.
I don’t love you Leonard. Let me spell this out to you well. I can’t marry you because I don’t love you and not once have I ever picture my future with you,” Nadine snapped as she stood up, she lost her appetite already.
” Okay,” Leonard smile feeling so disappointed.
“It’s because of Lorenzo right? He asked.
” So you know him too. Yes! It’s Lorenzo I love,” Nadine said and with that she angrily walked out of her office leaving Leonard.
“You’re always getting on my nerves,” Leonard muttered.
“I hate you Lorenzo!!!

Nadine let out a big smile when she saw Lorenzo, her eyes couldn’t get off him as she stare at him looking so irresistible. His tone skin fits perfectly to his white T-shirt and his natural spiky hair.
“Quit drooling! Am all yours,” Lorenzo laughed as he spread out his arms and pulled Nadine into a hugged.
“I missed you. It’s a good thing you keep to your promise,” she pouted.
” My day was so boring and tiring,” she said.
” Am sorry babe,” he cooed then plant a kss on her forehead.
“You look so beautiful you know,” he smile.
“Stop teasing me,” Nadine nudge him on the shoulder.
“after a hectic day at work how can I still look beautiful,”
” every single day you look stunning,” he kissed her cheeks then held her hand as they walked to where her car was parked.
Leonard who was just coming out when he sighted the two of them.
“That must be Lorenzo,” he thought. Seeing how closed they were and how Nadine was laughing to whatever his whispering to her.
“So he’s the so called Lorenzo, how could Nadine stood so low to mingle with such person,” he thought.
” I got you this,” Lorenzo gave her the two big paper bag he was holding.
“What! This are my favorite wears,” Nadine smile as she checked them out.
“but these are expensive,” she said looking at every wears and their tags.
Givenchy, Louis Vuitton, Fendi and every classy label
” But today isn’t my birthday or something?
” A queen like you deserve everything good. I thought this will make you happy since you were acting all moody since morning,” he said.
” Each moment with you feel so special and am happy seeing you always. Thanks a lot,” Nadine smiled.
” I want you to know am always planning for our future well Nadine. Everything I do today i include you in my future.
I might not get everything but I promise to give you anything you ever need even if it will cost me my life. Just don’t leave me for anything.
You’re the only one I have left in this whole world, the only one I can beat my chest and say she loves me so much and the only friend I have left,”
” I don’t need all these materials things Enzo, I don’t need any of them and if I have to lose them just to be with you I will.
You’re the only one I need in my life and not money or anything else. Am not gonna leave,” Nadine said emotionally trying to hold back her tears.
“I will love you till the end,”
“And I will always love and cherish you,” he whispers to her then gently place his lips on hers as they shared a kssed.
” Nadine!! Leonard yelled in an angry voice. He has been watching them since but seeing them kss was something he couldn’t stand it.
“Get your filthy self off my wife,” Leonard said in rage as he punched Lorenzo but Lorenzo was quick enough to pvnch him back too Making him staggered back.
“Nadine is betrothed to me.
She’s my wife and I have every right to stop you,” Leonard yelled as he touched his lips and noticed blood was dripping from the little cut .
Lorenzo was surprised to hear that as he look at Nadine.
“Leonard are you stalking me? Nadine asked.
“We are getting married next month so I had to cos am not gonna get married to a sIvt whose pussy have probably been fucked by her so called poor boyfriend,” he yelled but ended up receiving a heavy slap on his cheeks by Nadine.
” Dmn you Nadine! Leonard yelled as he hold his cheeks. It hurts so much.
“Now get out of my sight! And mind you, Lorenzo is thousand times better than you,” Nadine yelled back at him.
” It’s okay babe, let get out of here,” Lorenzo pulled her into the car and they zoomed off.
” Dmn! Loenard yelled, he felt so angry as he kicked his leg on his car, he felt like shouting out his lungs.
“When next am gonna see this Lorenzo I will kll him,” he swore as he touched his lips and groaned in pains.

” So that is it Enzo. Dad said am bethrothed to Leonard,” Nadine said in frustration as she ran her hand through her hair.
“It’s so frustrating Enzo but I have made it clear to my dad am not gonna marry Leon,” she sighed.
Lorenzo was quiet throughout as he seems deep in thought. This whole news of Nadine being bethrothed to that Leon weaken him.
“Aren’t you gonna say anything? Enzo! Nadine called as she touch his cheeks.
Lorenzo gently pulled her into a hug.
“Am not gonna let you slip out of my arms Nadine. I don’t care if you are bethrothed to him.
You’re mine and mine alone,” Lorenzo said assuredly. He was angry because everything doesn’t seems to be in his favor.
What was his crime? Because he’s poor and he doesn’t have a name in the city? Because he had no family to call his own? and everyone thinks he can’t probably take care of Nadine?
“Just forget about this whole thing babe. You’re not getting married to that a$shole,”
PLorenzo said staring at Nadine. She felt so scared as she stare back at Lorenzo. What is he planning? She thought.
“Whatever it is he should be fast about it because she would ever get married to Leon too,” she thought.

The club was buzzing with loud music and everyone seems busy with whatever thing they’re doing.
Austin sat down and gulped down his drink. He stare at the bar sluts who were also winking at him.
“It’s a good thing you came,” Austin smirked when he saw Leonard Enerstos.

During Nadine welcome and victory party at the Montes-Tech Austin was also there to celebrate with her, he saw how Mr Josie introduce her to everyone there. Austin noticed how Leonard was staring lustly at Nadine.
“You like her don’t you? He asked standing beside Leonard.
“She’s sexy, beautiful, she gat the perfect shape to bang on bed and most of all she’s beauty with brain so intelligent,” Leonard smirked as he kept staring at Nadine from afar.
“She has always been. I, Miguel and Nadine were childhood friends starting when we were kids she always has this good aura,” Austin smiled.
” So.. are you also eyeing your childhood friend? Leonard asked while Austin laughed.
“Maybe if I wanted to I would give it a try.
I saw how close you were to each other especially now that £-cloud waves are working in hand with the Montes-Tech.
You will see her more often, I don’t know but i sense your parents are trying to pair you together,” Austin said.
” You’re so smart you know,” Leonard smile as he looked at Austin.
“Am Austin Adams remember! He said proudly.
” But you can’t probably have Nadine,” he whispers to him.
“You’re not the one to tell me that. I have my own tricks I can get her myself,” Leonard said with full confidence while Austin laughed.
“She’s crazily in love with my poor adopted brother. Well I wouldn’t call him my brother.
He’s just a poor orphan whom my mom adopt,” he shrugged.
” She loves him dearly and I don’t think she will listen to anyone,” he said.
” She will listens to me because am Leonard Enerstos,” he smirked.
” And who cares! Nadine wouldn’t even look at you twice,” he said while Leonard felt so angry.
” Let see then. Even if she choose me or not she’s mine, she has always been,” Leonard said.
” Don’t be too sure, anyway you can try your luck but here is my card you’ll need me someday,” Austin smile as he dropped the card on he table and left. Leonard folded his fist in anger.
“Such guts!!

“I hate this your adopted brother Lorenzo,” Leonard said while Austin laughed.
” Everyone hates him,”
“He’s better off death because his an orphan, he has no one at all,” Leonard let out a wicked laugh.
” Am bethrothed to Nadine but she has already made up her mind not to push through with our wedding,” he added.
” I know exactly how to split Nadine and Lorenzo,” Austin said…
