@ The Airport??

A plane landed at the airport and not long after a door was opened. Two men dressed in suit came down the plane first, they were both wearing shades.
A car drove in the airport and stopped by the stairs of the plane. The chaffeur came out from the car.
A pair of black shiny shoes descended the plane with a black silky hair, a mascular and a well toned body.
“Welcome back home Lorenzo,” one of the man in suit said.
“Ethan,” he corrected.
“It’s in the US everyone knows you as Ethan but here it’s your place, where your very beginning start and everyone knows you as Lorenzo,” he said while Lorenzo kept quiet he knew the reason why he changed his name to Ethan now.
He removed his shade and look around.
After seven years of leaving here this the first time he’s coming back. He left as a nobody, almost a de.ad man who would have died in the fire but now he’s back after seven years with a lot of achievement.
Aside from coming here to visit the orphanage he had established, he also had his plans to take revenge on everyone who stole his happiness back then simply because he was an orphan who had no one to stood for him.
“Now is the time,” he smirked as he get into the car and the driver ignite the engine and zoomed off….
Nadine and Leon walked into the house that evening as she dropped few of his things.
“I miss us being here.. this where it all started. Our home” Leonard said while Nadine kept quiet.
” Please Leon, you don’t have to hurt yourself to make me feel guilty. The fact that our marriage has crashed doesn’t mean you should end your life.
You would have been klled in the bar that day and your parents might end up blaming me, Eric might get angry at me again. Please always take care of yourself. I decide to follow you here so we could talk,” she said.
” Our marriage hasn’t crashed Nadine. I still love you and we can make it work,” he quickly said while Nadine sigh.
” It’s all over. You don’t have to cry over a split milk Leonard. You’ve hurt me beyond measure and the time I totally cut you off from my life was when we lost our baby.. you were just so heartless to make have that miscarriage instantly.
Things will never be normal and the reason why we keep dragging ourselves in this so called marriage is because of Eric…
“I was drunk Nadine, I never meant to hurt you that way…” He pleaded.
” what if you wake up one day just to realized Eric isn’t even our son? She asked while Leon Chuckle in frustration.
“You see.. you’re just trying to change the topic to something foolish. Eric is our son and as parents we only want what’s best for him,” he said.
” Okay Leon, let end this now. I want a divorce and I wish you can cooperate on that and sign the divorce letter,” she blunt out.
” What! But .. you said you will always come visit…
“I said that because Eric was there with me. Am sorry Leonard but I don’t want us to keep hurting ourselves. I never loved you, I tried to but I can’t and when your attitude got worst it only make me dislike you the more,” she said while Leonard looked at her, with so much hurt and pains in his eyes.
The only thing he recalled was the incident that happened years back before he shot Lorenzo.
****(Have it at the back of your mind Nadine will never love you and you will have no peace, ” Lorenzo yelled at him while Leonard shot him on the left side of his stomach).***
“It obvious Lorenzo has cvrsed him before he died,”*** he thought.
“Noooo….,”
“She loves me,” he yelled while Nadine just watch him in surprise, wondering why he was acting insane.
“Seems like Lorenzo’s ghost is hunting you,” his sub-conscious said.
” am sorry our loveless marriage has to end this way,” Nadine said and with that she turn to leave but Leonard quickly pulled her back, slamming her back on the wall.
“Are you just going to walk out of me? He sneered.
“Let me go,” she yelled back at him as she try to free herself from his grip but he pin her to the wall.
“Who do you love then? He yelled in anger.
“Is it Lorenzo?
” And who’s talking about Lorenzo. I don’t get it, why do you always bring up this name in our conversation. He’s long dead and whatever I felt for him is de.ad as well, so why are you still feeling insecure about someone who has been dead for a long time now!
“Because that’s what my instinct is telling me. You’re my mine Nadine! always and you’ll forever be married to me no matter what! I own you,” he snarled, pvshing her on the couch as he to.re her dress.
“Just let me go Leon,” Nadine pleaded, seeing how angry he is. He was gradually getting out of his senses.
“You’re mine and I will have you at any cost,” he yelled as he use one of his hand to close her nose and mouth then the other hand to unz!p his trouser…
“Please Leon…,” Nadine muttered, as she felt her breath ceasing…

“Are you sure you want to do this? Cassie asked Nadine when they stopped in front of the house.
Nadine knew it wasn’t safe for her to be alone with Leonard so she asked Cassie to follow her there.
“I don’t want to add more to his pains, I don’t want to be the reason for anyone de.ath.., ”
” Come one Nadine, stop being too soft on someone who nearly klled you. If I had let my emotions get the best of me I wouldn’t have take my revenge on Audrey and Kamil. Am sure you know how it all happened, ” Cassie said.
” Am not as strong as you Cassie.. am just too weak and emotionally drain to even think of the right think to do, am getting fed up with life itself, ”
” And we are always here for you Nadine. It’s time to tell Leonard to quit and forget about you, tell him your mind, ” Cassie said .
” But how will I tell him Eric isn’t his biological son, ” Nadine said while Cassie looked at her surprised.
” Eric isn’t his biological son? She asked again.
” Yes, ” Nadine nodded.
“I kept this secret for a long and I haven’t told anyone not even mom or Miguel. You’re the first person to hear this Cassie.
I want to spill out the whole truth to everyone but am only scared of how Leon would react too, he’s used to Eric, how will he feel if I tell him Eric isn’t his real son but the son of the one he hate so much.. what if he comes after my life or try to hurt Eric. I don’t want to endanger my son’s life, ” Nadine burst into tears.
Cassie pulled her into a hug trying to figure out what she meant. She knows Nadine is going through a lot and she need all the care and love she deserves.
“Who is the real father of Eric? Cassie asked while Nadine sniffled and wipe her tears with her hand.
“It’s Lorenzo, my ex lover. I got married to Leonard when I was just few weeks pregnant with Eric.
I never told anyone not even Lorenzo. I kept it a secret because I was scared, I was scared of what dad would say, I was scared of what Miguel would say, they will be all disappointed in me to think I cheaply threw myself to Lorenzo.
I was just so confused and it happens that Lorenzo later died, he died the day I wanted to tell him about the pregnancy.
My dreams were shattered and i have to stay with Leonard thinking he would be a good father to Eric,” Nadine cried.
” It’s okay Nadine.. You did what you think was right at that time and to be honest with you I feel so relief that Leonard isn’t the father of Eric which means you both have nothing to hold onto. Quit the marriage and walk away with your son,” Cassie enthused.
” It okay Cassie, I have to go now,” Nadine open the door and step out of the car.
” Am going in with you,” Cassie suggested.
“No.. this just me and Leonard you can wait for me here” Nadine said.
” Take care Nadine and calm yourself down, tell him the whole truth. I handle people like Kamil and Audrey so Leonard is not an exception,” she said.
Nadine step inside the house to meet Leonard.

“What is taking her so long? Cassie thought as she step out of the car, hearing some noises inside she quickly rushed in and was shocked to see Leonard trying to force himself on Nadine.
“Leon! Cassie pull him off her and kicked him in between his legs.
” Argg,” Leonard groan as he fall to the ground.
“She’s my wife, you have no right to stop me,” he yelled while Cassie gave him a heavy slap across his cheeks.
” You’re just a fool Leonard, the earlier you realize you have no one at all the better for you.
Eric isn’t your son, his not your biological son but Lorenzo’s son in case Nadine haven’t told you that hear that from me,” she yelled back at him while he laughed.
“You think you can deceive me?” he laugh sarcastically.
” Get that into your fucking skull. You are just a failure Leon. Nadine doesn’t love you and Eric isn’t your son but Lorenzo’s.
She got married to you when she was few weeks pregnant with Eric you fool,” Cassie blast at him as she helped Nadine and take her back to the car before zooming off.

“Nadine.. my dear! I’ve warned you not to go to him again. If he choose to kill himself then fine let him die,” Julianna said.
” He almost raped me, if Cassie hasn’t come to my rescue on time i don’t know what I would have done,” Nadine whimpered.
” He have to pay for this.. ,” Josie said so angry.
“If you haven’t pressure me on getting married to Leonard, all these wouldn’t have happened, you all thought Leonard was better than Lorenzo but am sure the difference is very clear to you now. If it was Lorenzo he would never hurt me this way,”
” I know I contributed a lot to whatever that is happening and am regretting everything now, please Nadine am sorry about this. I won’t let Leonard hurt you this way again,” Josie said so sorry.
” We didn’t trust Lorenzo, we all thought he was the bad guy. Nadine it’s all over now. Leonard will pay for every single thing he did to you,” Miguel said sadly.
” And to cut the long story short Leonard isn’t the biological father of Eric,” she spill out.
” What!
“Yes Mom,” Nadine said.
“Who is the father then? Miguel asked.
“It’s Lorenzo,” she said while they were all quiet.
” Lorenzo.. but how did it all happened? Julianna asked.
” You never told anyone?
“I never did because of the pressure around. I had to get married to Leonard that way when I was just few weeks pregnant with Eric. I had no one to confide in, I kept everything a secret to myself since Lorenzo was dead,” she cried.
” It’s okay Nadine,” Miguel hugged her.
” Atleast it isn’t Leonard and from now henceforth he’s not allow to come near you nor Eric. Everything will gonna be fine,” he cooed.
Josie just stood in surprised. He realized how selfish he was to deprived Nadine of her happiness, he knew how much she loved Lorenzo back then but he was the big obstacle that stood on their way, he never like Lorenzo for no good reasons and he literally forced her into getting married to Leonard. Indeed her and Leonard weren’t made to be after all, the marriage crashed and it leaving his daughter with so much scars and pains.
If only he knew, he would have gladly accepted Lorenzo who would love and cherished his daughter and not Leonard who pretended all this while.

Cassie stood at the balcony gazing at the stars with so many thoughts running through her mind.
“Love,” Miguel called as he stood beside her.
“Were are the kids? He asked.
” Already asleep,” she said.
“You look troubled?
” Of course am troubled. I wonder why Nadine will have to marry that monster in the first place. She’s really going through a lot,” she said sadly.
” I somehow felt at peace when she told us Eric is isn’t Leon son. Atleast he have nothing to hold unto and if he dares shows his face claiming to see Eric he will regret ever knowing us,” Miguel said.
” Now I know the reason why Nadine told me all her life has been battles upon battles, she couldn’t make any decisions for herself.
Atleast I was allowed to make decision for myself which make me ended up in Kamil’s and Audrey’s den but I still came out of it alive, if only she married her ex lover! too bad he’s even dead without getting the chance to know he have a son,”
” The three of us grew up as best of friends, I, Nadine and Austin and when Lorenzo was adopted i also liked him and wanted him to be part of us but everything changed when I lost Dianne.
I don’t know what actually happened that evening but Austin told me it was Lorenzo that pushed her off the bridge.
That’s when my anger towards him started. I thought he was the one that klled Dianne, I was just so foolish then and I never liked him for my sister.
Everything was just complicated, I wish Lorenzo is still alive to set things right with him. The Montes need to apologise to him, for giving him a hard time in courting Nadine, but it all over now.
He’s gone and the only one we have around now is little Lorenzo right? We can make it up to him through his son. Life is so unpredictable,” Miguel said sadly.
” If only you know,” Cassie said.
” I just wish Nadine will soon come out of this and be strong again and who knows if true love will find her again. I want her to be happy again, I miss that cheerful Nadine,”
” We will help her recover,” Miguel said as he hugged Cassie.
“You coming into my life have changed everything about me Cassie. Thank you for saving Nadine on time and thank you for revealing to us the truth about Austin, he was never a good friend,

Leonard gulped down more drink from the bottle of champagne as he thought about what Cassie told him earlier.

“How true is that? He asked himself, wondering if she was telling him the truth.
**Eric isn’t my son but Lorenzo’s How?,” he thought trying to figure out that.
” That can’t be,” he said in rage as he tighten his grip on the bottle he was holding.
” Am gonna request for a DNA,” he smirked
