“Mom ,dad I can explain , you just have to calm down and listen to me , Kathrine said after taking a deep breath .
“Oh my goodness Kathrine ,why is Ariel here ,the news states that she is missing,did you kidnapp her , Kimberly asked surprised.
“What no mom,I did no such thing , can you please just stop with this I will explain take a sit mom , Kathrine replied and directed Kimberly to sit on her bed next to Ariel.
“Kathrine I am so confused right now ,why is Ariel at our house,where you two planning to run away ,oh goodness ,my daughter is a lezbian,how could you Kathrine ,why didn’t you just tell ,why did you choose to leave me , Kimberly wailed making ken role his eyes at her ,she is so dramatic.
“Gosh,mom okay now you are gonna stop talking till I am done explaining this, and ewww I am not a lesbian, Kathrine replied .
“Go ahead dear ,we are all hears , don’t mind your mom ,she can be really dramatic,ken said and Katherine chuckled.
“Mom ,dad , Ariel wasn’t kidnapped by me or anyone,she choose to leave and there are reasons behind them, Kathrine stated ,she explained all that happened and what Ariel had been facing in the hands of Jerald ,ken got angry instantly he didn’t know why but it felt like it had happened to his own child , and Kimberly on the other hand felt sad,she felt like a bad mother ,she was clueless as to why she felt that way but she knew it was the same feeling she got the day she lost Karen and,when Kathrine became an introvert because of how they moved away .
“Did this really happen,ken asked Ariel with concern.
“Yes sir , please sir don’t send me back there or Jerald will make my life a leaving he.ll , Ariel pleaded.
“It’s okay dear,you are not going anywhere,but you also cannot stay here for long,ken replied and Ariel as well as Kathrine got scared instantly.
“Why dad, Kathrine asked anxiously.
“We have been contemplating on when to tell you this ,we were both scared you will freak out and complain ,that we were taking advantage of you ,but we are not it’s for your own good ,ken said and looked at Kimberly to inform her about the changes.
“Urmm, Kathrine remember you dad told you that you could stay for a month with Ariel until ,it was time to go .
“Yes I do .
“well your dad has a really big contract in Italy with some french couple he had business deals with some years ago , and their new business project is being shifted to Italy and the project is to start immediately ,we are to leave in three days time ,we tried talking the couples out of rushing into work but they had no choice , it’s going to take years to finish up ,so the earlier the better, Kimberly explained.
“Seriously dad ,after promising me a month with my best friend that was secretly a lie , seriously why dad ,why , Kathrine asked annoyed.
“Am sorry dear ,but look on the bright side , Ariel is going to come with us ,that’s why I said she won’t be staying here for long ,it’s going to help a lot because she tends to stay away from Jerald and family ,come on darling I am sorry for lying , please forgive me and your mother,ken pleaded and so did Kimberly.
“It’s fine dad , you are right it’s good we are leaving very early,now Ariel will be safe and free too ,right girl , Kathrine asked as she went to hug Ariel.
“Yes kath,I am so happy, thank you ma’am, and sir ,thank you so much , Ariel replied hugging Kathrine back.
“You are welcome dear,you can call me Kim and my husband ken , welcome to the family, Kimberly said happily ,the family felt so complete that she could feel but yet it felt strange.
“Ariel let’s go have breakfast , I am starving , Kathrine said helping Ariel up .
“Now who is the glutton, Ariel replied .
“Definitely not me ,my princess, Kathrine replied and they both laughed .
Ken and Kimberly kept smiling and watching both girls .
“I wish Karen was here with us , Kimberly suddenly said.
“Kim , she’s always with us ,now don’t feel sad or anything ,ken said and Kimberly nodded.
“Ariel looks slot like Kathrine ,must be best friends spirit , Kimberly said but ken shook his head .
“Yeah you are right ,but could be something else who knows ,ken replied ,he still didn’t have the courage to tell Kimberly about Karen being Ariel because he wasn’t too sure , maybe when they arrive Italy ,he would run another DNA test.

“Tell us what happened to ma’am Ariel ,our investigations will start immediately,one of the cop who was sent to Mrs Damien house asked.
“Yesterday,that was after her birthday ,I wanted to see her in the morning , it’s what I do every morning,I also wanted to help her open her presents , because she went missing at the party ,when I got to her room she wasn’t there ,I thought she must have gone for a bath or something so I left to get ready for work,when I was done I decided to check on her again, and this time she was there ,but she wasn’t listening to me ,it was like she was in pain,I tried unlocking the door but it was locked from inside,I had the spear keys but I decided to give her some time to get her self together then we would sort whatever is wrong ,so I called her best friend Kathrine Dele Rosa ,she came immediately and I informed her of what happened before I left for work .
“By evening Kathrine came to visit in my office ,but it was for some other issue,I asked her about Ariel and she told me Ariel was doing fine ,that there was nothing you worry about ,I was happy that things were now better ,when I got home that night I was too tired to check on her so this morning ,I went to check up on her but she was missing , again ,I thought maybe she didn’t sleep there again ,I waited thinking she would be in the bathroom,but she wasn’t ,I left to have breakfast that was when my son brought a tiny pod to me saying he found it in Ariel’s room ,I listened to the content and found out that Ariel was gone ,she ran away ,but I don’t think she ran away because she was tired of the family , please you need to help me find her ,I am ready to pay any amount , please inspector , Mrs Damien pleaded sobing.
“Don’t worry ma’am we will do our possible best ,the cop said they investigated every staff before leaving.
“Jerald where have you been ,I you were supposed to be here with me being helpful ,your sister is missing, Mrs Damien scolded.
“She’s not my sister,she never was and never will be, and she is not missing,she ran away maybe to a better place , stop acting all obsessed and spear me this crap , Jerald said before walking out .
Mrs Damien stood surprised and angry ,but she wasn’t in the right state of mind to deal with Jerald’s problems,her only daughter was missing ,she had to do every thing in her power to save her.

THREE DAYS LATER……
“Hurry up girls ,we don’t want to be late for our flight, Kimberly yelled from downstairs ,as she got things ready .
“Ariel here wear these ,I am also going to wear that ,these are matching outfits , Kathrine suggested and Ariel gladly collected them.
For the past three days, she had enjoyed her stay with such a wonderful family ,she felt so welcomed ,so free like she actually belonged with the family,they all treated her nicely ,most especially Kim , and the family also did not regret having Ariel as a member of the family ,ken informed Ariel of sponsoring her education and eye surgery which was to commence two days after their arrival ,this made Ariel so happy,she was going to see again and in less than 48 hours ,she couldn’t be more thankful ,she owes this family alot and she was going to make it up to them.
Ariel and Katherine quickly got dressed in their matching outfits ,then Kathrine took Ariel to the car before she came back for the laugages .
In less than an hour, the family were ready to leave. They hired a driver, who was going to return the car back home where their insurance agency were to monitor it.

Two days straight, Mrs Damien had been restless, she was worried about Ariel. The cops weren’t providing useful information and she had called Kathrine twice to ask about Ariel, but there was no answer. She visited once but no one was home. She was informed about them going on vacation, this was to make her stay away till they left New York.
Last night she received a text from an anonymous, saying they had an idea of why Ariel ran away. At first, Mrs Damien didn’t want to acknowledge this particular person but she had no choice, she needed her daughter as soon as possible or else she might just go crazy .
Mrs Damien fixed a time they were to meet and that was 5:00pm sharp, because she was going to visit the office before she see any other person.
At 5:00pm sharp ,Mrs Damien arrived the venue the meeting was going to take place,she took a chair and sat down waiting for who so ever it is to arrive ,they already discussed how they were to recognize each other because the venue was a local coffee shop ,so she couldn’t go as her normal self,she dressed in a black local jumpsuit wore a shady glass covered her hair with a scarf.
Soon the anonymous came in dressed in the same way Mrs Damien looked ,that was part of their deal in recognizing each other ,Mrs Damien waved and the anonymous walked over to her table and sat.
“Good day ma’am,thanks for honoring my invitation ,the anonymous said and Mrs Damien nodded with a straight look.
“So , first of all who are you , Mrs Damien asked.
The anonymous person took off the shade and scarf and behold it was Rosa.
“Sorry for putting you in such suspence I couldn’t trust you enough to disclose my identity, one because the culprit is in your house and close to you ,it would be bad if I told you about myself and then you told the culprit because that would be the next thing you are going to do ,I was sure of that so I hide my identity,am sorry ma’am,Rosa explained.
“I don’t get any of these Rosa , please explain to me what’s going on and why did Ariel run away.
“Calm down ,I will explain ma’am,it all happened the night of Ariel and Jerald’s birthday. From what I earsdropped, Jerald had drugged Ariel with a sx enhancement drug, which made her go nuts. Jerald took advantage of her and made a video with it, he then threatened to make the video go viral if she did not leave the house away from you and him. With the help of Kathrine, Ariel was able to leave the house without anyone’s notice except me. If you don’t believe me, I have an audio of their conversation. I did not tell you this because I want anything, I am only telling you this because Jerald has not been fair to this poor girl and it is left for you to find a solution. This is my resignation letter, I wanted to leave without telling you but it didn’t feel right, you made me who I am today and I am grateful for that. I need to leave ma’am, please take care of yourself and try to patch things up with Ariel and Jerald. Rosa said, she got up wore her shade and scarf before she left.
Mrs Damien got up angrily matching out of the shop ,Why did this happen, Jerald was the cause all along,she wasn’t angry that he took advantage of Ariel,but angry that he threatened her to leave the house .
Mrs Damien got into her car immediately , and drove back home in a high speed which was prohibited but she’s a celebrity no one has a say in her actions,she got home few minutes later .
She rushed up in rage , Jerald had some serious explanation to give,she opened the door to Jerald’s room not caring to knock there was no time for that,what she saw got her rooted to the ground.
Jerald was in bed with Miranda and they were both nked , having sx,she wasn’t able to notice it while coming because Jerald’s room was sound proof ,this was the reason why he wanted it that way ,to slam this bch whenever he liked.
“Jerald,Mrs Damien yelled.
Jerald and Miranda turned to see Mrs Damien ,they quickly disengage with surprised looks on their faces.
