“What is going on here , Mrs Damien asked raging in anger.
“Mom ,why didn’t you knock , Jerald replied instead putting on his underwear immediately .
Miranda was still on the bed using the sheets to cover her nkedness ,she was too ashamed of herself ,she couldn’t even look up to Mrs Damien,who at that moment didn’t acknowledge her presence.
“Get out , Mrs Damien suddenly yelled at Miranda didn’t think twice before running out in horror.
“Mom ,do you have an idea what you just did , Jerald stated a little bit annoyed his mother spoiled his fun.
“How dare you Jerald,how dare you say that trash to my face ,I am your mother for crying out loud, Mrs Damien stated.
“Oh yeah my mom ,I think I forgot that part , Jerald replied , Mrs Damien out of anger landed him three $laps all at once.
Jerald was surprised as he staggered backwards due to the effect the $lap had on him ,what he said didn’t warrant such treatment.
“You ingrate,after everything I did for you,this is how you repay me ,you took my joy away Jerald,the only thing worth living for, and here you are instead of appologising ,you open you disgusting mouth and say trash ,I regret having you ,I should have aborted you when people told me to,you are a bastard just like your foolish father , Mrs Damien yelled .
Tears dropped down from Jerald’s eyes ,as he stared at his mentor, best friend, guidian ,only family left , and mother , uttering those stabbing words to him .
“All she wanted was a family ,why was it so hard to give her one,why were you being so selfish,you raped her , and then threatened her to leave the house to where exactly,she came from the streets Jerald ,why couldn’t you pity the poor girl ,why Jerald why ,you have chosen to take after your father after everything I did for you Jerald ,I hate you for this I hate you so much , Mrs Damien said and walked out in a hurry , probably to check every airport there is to find Ariel.
Jerald stood numb as more tears flowed down,he was in shock ,his mother said she hates him for a girl they knew nothing about, for a girl who just came into their lives recently,for a girl who wasn’t with her through bad times, for a girl who never consoled her when she would come home from work feeling sad or oppressed,for s girl who never sang laulubies whenever she was sick ,for a girl who never showered her love like he did ,his own mother hates him for a girl she never birthed.
Jerald slowly walked to his bed ,he sat down ,his head filled with dark thoughts,his mother was right he is a selfish human ,he is a rapist , and he is just like his real father a foolish person,just like his mother said,but he never meant any harm all he wanted was to have his old life back,it hurts so much to be neglected by your own mother,all he wanted was the love he was beginning to lack ,he wasn’t doing it for selfish reasons,he wasn’t used to sharing love and care because all his life ,they were all showered on him ,he really didn’t mean any harm ,he just wanted to feel happy again ,he just wanted to enjoy his last few years on earth with the only person in his heart ,his mother.
Jerald had been suffering from brain tumor for a year some months,he found out in school when he fainted for just being weak ,that was unlike him ,the school nurse had no idea why he fell unconscious ,so he was taken to the hospital, although the school tried contacting Mrs Damien but she was always too busy ,the doctors ran series of test on Jerald and found out he had brain tumor.
The doctors in their field had no cure or remedy to help , and he had just three more years on earth as calculated , Jerald was devastated he had so many dreams ,all revolved around his mother ,he was so sad he wouldn’t achieve it all in a space of three years but he was willing to try ,he quite smoking and faced his studies , although he smoked on occasions but mainly when he was angry or sad , no one except the doctors knew about his condition , even Landon his best friend had no idea ,he didn’t want to put anyone in sorrow that was why he hide it from them .
He decided to return home and spend his last years with his mother ,but he came home to meet something else ,he never had bad intentions but good ,but he wasn’t mentally stable,this is one of the reason,he did mostly evil to Ariel .
*Mom doesn’t need me anymore,it’s useless staying alive*, Jerald thought ,he changed into his clothes and picked his car keys heading to God knows where.

“No ma’am,no flight has taken off since morning , today’s flights are scheduled for night traveling,so sorry ma’am,an air port attendant said to Mrs Damien.
It was already 6:51pm , and there was no sign of Ariel in any of the airport she checked , Mrs Damien cried silently as she walked out of the airport , not even replying the attendant.
Ariel is finally gone ,away from her life and she is now with her family,all her plans have been destroyed and it is all Jerald’s fault .
Mrs Damien picked up her phone to put a call across Asher,she wasn’t in a state to drive,but instead of calling Asher ,he called her ,she picked up immediately wondering why he called.
?? Hello Asher , what’s wrong I was about calling you now , Can you come pick me up , Mrs Damien said not even hearing from Asher’s side.
?? Ma’am , something terrible just happened,Asher said but Mrs Damien was quick to cut him off .
??Just hurry up and come pick me up ,take a cab my car is here, don’t keep me waiting, Mrs Damien said and hanged up.
She was about placing her phone into her bag ,when a notification message popped into it ,she taped on it and saw it was from the news ,the headline made her numb.
SON OF POPULAR CELEBRITY MRS CLAIRE DAMIEN , JERALD DAMIEN HAS MET WITH A GHASTLY ACCIDENT…..
The headline read ,there were also pictures of Jerald being pulled out of the damaged car with body and clothes stained with bIood.
Mrs Damien screamed ,her phone fell off her hand and she blacked out immediately .
