DR HARRY HOSPITAL ? …….
(Ariel’s private optician)
“Alright , now ma’am you have to take a deep breath ,this is the last wrap,Dr Harry instructed Ariel after taking a wrap off her eyes earlier.
They visited the hospital for Ariel’s eye surgery quite early ,but doctor harry was busy , until after a couple of hours ,then the surgery commenced .
Everyone stood anxiously waiting for the doctor to unwrap Ariel’s the cloths used in wrapping her eyes after the surgery was done .
Finally Dr Harry unwrapped the last piece of clothe , and instructed Ariel to open her eyes which she did immediately .
At first the whole place was so bright, Ariel had to shut her eyes closed,she took in a deep breath then opened her eyes again ,this time it wasn’t as bright as it was before .
Her two pair of eyes landed on a young cute girl standing next to a man and a woman ,those were Kathrine and her parents .
“Kathy ,is that you , Ariel asked getting on her feet slowly.
“You can see me right , Kathrine asked ,as she palmed her mouth , unable to believe Ariel could now see .
“Yes I can ,I can see you so clear and you look more beautiful than I could ever think of imagining, Ariel said and Kathrine pulled her into a hug as they both cried ,in tears of joy.
Kathrine broke the hug and held Ariel face gently ,”I am so glad you can see ,this is the best day of my life , Kathrine cried happily , and also cleaned her tears .
Ariel walked up to Kathrine’s parents she almost went on her knees ,but they were quick to stop her from doing so ,”Ma’am Kim and sir ken ,thank you so much , Ariel cried whole heartedly ,she has never been so happy ,she could now see what things really looked like and it was all thanks to Kathrine and her parents.
“Don’t cry Ariel ,I don’t know what exactly is this feeling that I get about you always getting the best ,if I have been disobedient all my life ,I will surely obey this particular feeling ,you don’t need to thank us ,I feel it’s our duty to give you the best ,you are not alone in this world and you will never be ,that’s something you should never forget , Kimberly said and hugged Ariel ,ken and Kathrine also joined in the hug ,they all forgot about the doctor who was smiling at the happy family till he cleared his throat.
“Urm ,I have prescribed some medicines for her ,this should help improve her healthy and eyes , she also should take good rest and not stress herself too much , everything will be fine ,Dr Harry informed and they nodded in agreement .
He was about to leave when Kathrine called his attention ,he turned to know what was wrong .
“Yes young lady ,is there something you need ,Dr Harry asked .
“It’s nothing much ,just that you look like Dr Garry ,the doctor which was to perform Ariel’s surgery when she was in New York , Kathrine spoke her mind out.
Dr Harry laughed and nodded to what she said,”yes dear you are right ,Dr Garry is my twin brother , he’s presently in New York,had something important to attend to ,I hope I have answered you question,I will take my leave now ,if you need anything don’t hesitate to use my office line ,Dr Harry said before he left the room.
“Mrs Damien already appointed a doctor for Ariel , how her surgery never took place ,ken asked no one in particular.
“Busy , schedule I guess , Kimberly answered .
“Mom I am hungry how about we go out as a family for lunch , Kathrine suggested.
“I like the idea ,but I need to see the doctor on that ,since Ariel is just recovering ,ken said and they all agreed .
He left for Dr Harry’s office and returned few minutes later ,”well according to him he said there is nothing wrong in going out for lunch ,but that’s if Ariel is really in for it,I suggest we all have lunch here and don’t worry I will get the lunch , while you guys keep Ariel company , she’s just recovering she needs rest ,ken said although the Kim and Kathrine were not really happy but they had no choice Ariel is really important to the family.
“It’s fine dear ,I think we understand you,we will just wait for your arrival, Kimberly said she gave ken a peck , before he left not without bidding them goodbye.

DR CHARLES HOSPITAL ?……
(VIP ward , Jerald’s room)
Mrs Damien and Dr Charles watched as Jerald stuffed his mouth hungrily with food ,after the opt he was shifted into a VIP ward,Dr Charles had carried few test on him after his encounter with his mother ,he hasn’t really been able to inform her about his anemia(temporary loss of memory) situation ,no one needed to tell her Jerald’s memory was completely blank .
“Claire , can I talk to you privately ,Dr Charles asked Mrs Damien who was still shaken by her son’s outburst when he woke up .
“There’s nothing to talk about Charles ,you were right ,I am a bad person ,my selfishness has landed me into nothing but sorrows ,I am starting to regret every action I took since I met Damien, Mrs Damien sobbed silently.
“Please we can’t talk about this Infront of Jerald , he’s really been through a lot ,just come into my office let’s settle this ,Dr Charles replied.
Mrs Damien turned her direction to Dr Charles who had a worried expression on his face .
“Charles ,all my life I have never felt so terrible ,look at the state of my son,just take a look at him ,he doesn’t even know his name , neither does he remember me ,is this something we can possibly discuss privately,I am sure by now every one knows the type of person I am , Mrs Damien said ,she looked almost lifeless with he huge eye bags which had dark circles around it , and her pale skin with a slightly torned dress which got torned when she was being pulled out of the operation theater.
“It matters Claire , Jerald here might have lost his memory doesn’t mean it’s going to be forever ,I have a feeling he will regain this memory, let’s not fill his head with negative words but positive ones ,let him start afresh with good memories ,let him feel loved and needed like never before ,so that when he finally regains his memory ,the good things he has experienced will surely overshadow the bad ones ,Dr Charles said , and Mrs Damien through his words received a ray of hope for her to set things right .
“Thank you Charles,you are a good friend,thank you for helping me see through my mistakes, and I thank God for giving me another chance to ammend them .
“You are welcome Claire and there is something I would like you to do ,so that you can be completely forgiven not just by me but also God ,Dr Charles said.
“What is it i am ready for anything ,Mrs Damien replied.
“I want you to inform Kimberly and ken about Ariel being their lost child ,Dr Charles said.
Mrs Damien was silent for a while ,she had no idea what to say ,but if she wanted to prove to Charles and any other person doubting her ,then she was willing to do it , anything at all.
“I will do it , anything for a better start ,Mrs Damien said and ken smiled happily ,he had no idea when he pulled her into a hug .
“I knew there was still good in you ,thank you so much Claire thank you ,Dr Charles said .
“Excuses me , can I have some more food , Jerald said pouting cutely as he streched his empty plate ,this made Mrs Damien and Dr Charles laugh heartily so did Jerald even though he had no idea why they where laughing.
