Our journey to school wasn’t strenuous. The school bus was quite okay . I sat down close to the window so I can relay my thoughts to the wind.
My headphones were plugged in my ears after connecting it with my phone.
I was listening to one of Harris Grayson’s songs. The album he just released,his debut song actually. It was a hit. I wished I attended the concert but I couldn’t that day.
I was so sick and worn out. Harris Grayson has been my crush eversince I heard his songs . I can proudly say I’m his number one fan even if he doesn’t know me.
I was listening to the song he just released about ‘LOVE’. His girlfriend would be so lucky. I wished I was in her shoes actually.
“Hey”. Someone tapped me .
I removed my headphones and looked back to see Jennifer telling the girl beside me to excuse us for a while as she sits beside me. I looked back and saw Jeffery as the girl sat beside him taking Jenny’s vacant space.
He smiled and waved at me in a girlish way as I gave him a wry smile too.
“Hi”. I said.
“Wassup…I’m “. She tried to say when I interrupted.
“Jennifer? Jenny…I know”. I smiled again.
“Ohhh, that’s right? I’m sorry I wasn’t able to say hi to you properly but now trust me I’m available for you”. She said sitting beside me.
“Really? It’s fine anyways”. I winked at her.
“So…tell me how was your first school like? She started a question after being silent for a while.
Dmn!
That question! I would avoid that question all the days of my life if I could.
“You don’t wanna know, seriously? I chuckled nervously facing the window.
“I really do,I promise not to say anything,I won’t even tell my twin brother”. She did a pinky promise to me.
Then I started my story.
My life in SKYFIELD HIGH SCHOOL was a mess. I was always bullied and taken for granted. I had this small stature then . I laughed as I remembered.
Most people think because you’re short you can be taken for granted. I had to put an end to that and I did one day.
I was just going to the cafeteria to get what I wanna eat. I had no friends because I was always silent and reserved. Most people even wonder how I came top in class every term.
After getting what I wanna eat. I was confronted by April and her friends.
“Who is April? She asked out of curiosity.
“Well,April is this girl who has been tormenting me right from elementary school. She feels she’s the only perfect human being in this world and therefore made life miserable for me.
I had to put an end to it that moment.
“Then what did you do to her? She said in excitement.
She moved towards me and wanted to bully me. I took my lunch and poured it on her face.
“Oh my gosh! What was her reaction?
“I poured the plate of macaroni and cheese that was in my tray on her head,she screamed. Her girls, Tasha and Nola couldn’t move closer to me.
She screamed their names but they didn’t answer. Everyone kept cheering me up . I dragged her by the hair as she had always done for me”.
“By her hair? Oh good,hope you pulled it out”
“I did what was worse than that”. I laughed so hard as I remembered.
I dragged her by her hair down to my school bag,I brought out a scissors and gave her hair a good cut. She actually cherishes her long hair and I gave her a good shave”
“Geez..! You’re so bad! She retorted laughing hard.
“Her parents hold the highest seat in the school so she feels she’s somehow great. Anyways,I was expelled because of her”. I said ending my story.
“Wow,so what did your parents do?
“My parents? My mood changed instantly.

Seriously,she’s such a weirdo and I like her like that.
Her face looks so innocent that one can hardly believe what she just stated.
I asked what her parents did when they found out that she was expelled then her mood changed.
“Are you okay? I said touching her shoulder.
“Well..hummm, they weren’t really bothered, they scolded me and we moved to another country”. She said
“Ohhh… okay”. I said. It was really a long story and I enjoyed every bit of it.
I think something is not right about her and her parents but I didn’t wanna ask more questions when I noticed her mood.
Let’s just enjoy this journey to school.
We got to school sonner or no later.

The school bus zoomed into a very big compound. It looked like another city entirely.
The floors were tiled and beautiful trees adorned the garden.
Students littered the school compound some stood by the corridors while others were dropped by their parents too.
We all alighted from the bus as we walked down the hallway in groups. I walked with Jennifer and Jeffery.
“Are you gonna register now? Jeff asked adjusting his glasses.
“Ohh, no, humm… everything has been settled”. I said.
My parents took care of it over the phone. I heard them having a conversation with the principal of the school.
So busy that they can’t even come to register by themselves.
Funny right?
“You’re gonna love our school,we have lots of cute guys there… especially”. Jennifer said as she was interrupted by some shouts and screams flowing from different angles.
By girls especially.
“Oh my gosh, they’re here… they’re here”. They all squealed hurrying back to the direction we were coming from.
“He’s here again”. Jeffery said in disgust.
“Who is that? I said so curious.
“You really don’t know? Jennifer said.
“I don’t that’s why I’m asking”. I looked at the direction of those girls just to see my wildest dreams.
