Oh my gosh! Nanny Jade was worried about me.
And the twins too. What do I do?
I sincerely don’t know why Drake is mad at me for wandering off.
It’s not like I’m his girlfriend or his junior sister.
“Calm down Drake”. I said to him and moved away from him .
“So, where did you go to? He said.
“Boss,I’m fine…you don’t need to be worried about me. Let’s go inside”. I took his hand as we entered inside.
“Boss? He started.
“I’m sorry , Drake”. I chuckled and was about to go inside when he drew me back.
“I like you Valerie”. He said looking deep into my eyes.

I felt somehow. I’m very sure she’s the one my heart yearns for . My heart skipped a beat as she called me boss
I’ve warned her countless times not to call me boss but my name.
“I’m sorry, DRAKE”. The name rolled out from her tongue as she chuckled.
I felt like I saw an angel right in front of me and I want the angel to grant all my wishes.
“I like you Valerie”.I landed holding her hand as she stared at me in disbelief.
“What? She said softly.
“I…I..I like you Valerie”. I summoned up courage and stood very well.
She removed her hand from mine and sighed . She turned back in without giving me a reply .
She turned the knob open and there was Nanny Jade.
“Nanny? She called but Nanny ran to my arms instead.
“Ohh Drake, thanks a lot”. She patted my back.
“Nanny,sit for a while”. I helped her to the chair back.
“I’ll get you coffee”. I and Valerie said together as we avoided each other’s eyes.
“What’s wrong with both of you? Nanny questioned.
“I’ll get the tea, I’m very good in making tea remember? I said to Valerie. She eyed me as I walked to their kitchen like I’ve been used to it before.
“I’ll see what you’ll touch,I told you to leave it to the boss you won’t listen”. She said.
“Are you trying to scold me or what? I chuckled
“Whatever you think? She rolled her eyes and looked away.

Drake can be annoying sometimes.
“Nanny? I sat on the edge of the chair.
“Leave me be Valerie! How could you wander off without telling me? How could you? She raised her voice and stood up from where she was sitting to another chair.
“Nanny? I’m sorry”. I said soberly and knelt down in front of her.
She didn’t answer me.
“Nanny? I didn’t mean too seriously! I was bullied at school and the only place I could share my thoughts to the wind is to be lonely.
A friend of mine came to my aid and I followed him to his house and I helped his mother and younger sister. I’m serious Nanny”. I broke down in tears .
“Must you always be a cry baby? Drake’s thick voice came through as I wiped my tears and stood up.
“None of your business jerk”. I sIapped his arm playfully.
“Hey, gentle…don’t spill the coffee I took my time to make”. He said tip-toeing towards the table in front of Nanny Jade as he dropped it .
“And why is there two cups? What about the third one? I said inquisitively.
“The third one belongs to you and you’re not taking out of the tea I made “. He said boastfully.
“Whatever! I scoffed.

She was so mad at what I said . She looked cute when she sulked as I laughed, I winked at Nanny Jade and she winked back
“This tea is so great Drake, I never knew you were so good. Valerie learn from Drake so you can always make me wonderful tea like this”.
Nanny said winking at me as she slurped her tea loudly
“Of course Nanny, tea has been my specialization eversince I was little and I decided to take up the business by having a cake and coffee shop where Valerie works now”.
“Wow! You’re so cool, you seem to be the coolest amongst the four, right Valerie? She said directing her gaze at Valerie.
“No way! Harris is more cooler than he is, he’s not hot nor handsome. He’s just a boss at making tea”. She sulked.
“When are you gonna agree that I’m hot “. I laughed hard as she h!t me playfully.
“Whatever! Can I have a taste anyways” . She pleaded giving me a puppy eye.
“Awww! You look so cute doing like that, do it one more time so I’ll give you”. I said sipping from the tea
“No way! That’s not fair! I’ll take it with violence then”. She said standing up from the chair as she faced me and ran after me.
We ran in circles for a while laughing so hard as Nanny Jade took my phone and recorded us.

Why would she tell me not to take her to the front of her house?
I paused and parked my bike.
“Is she hiding anything from me?
Is she going back to that Harris guy? Yeah, I promised to make him pay for what he did .
I’ll feel some hoodlums to deal with him after deceiving him to a spot where no one can find him.
A wicked grin sat on the corner of my lips .
I headed back towards where I dropped Valerie and watched her as she walked slowly towards the street .
I was about going to her when I saw someone familiar.
“Boss Drake? His name filled my mouth
What the h’ll is he doing here? They stared at each other for a while and he hugged her.
I wanted to rush to that scene and jerk him off her . I paused and thought about it for a while.
If I go against him , I might lose my job. Besides, does Drake likes Valerie?
Eva needs to know about this. I snapped them and kept the picture as I rode my bike home in anger.
