I’ve been watching Drake closely for a while now .
It seems he’s in love with the nerdy girl .
When we were cruising at my place his phone kept beeping and he was smiling too.
I guess it’s a message from Valerie .
“Guy,why are you smiling? I said resting my back on a chair.
“None of your business”. He chuckled as he turned away entering another room.
“Leave him, probably he’s chatting with his babe”. Rick said .
“Babe! Drake has a babe? Dennis said.
“That Valerie girl..the nerdy one at the birthday”. Rick responded
“Really? I thought it was a joke”
“Nope,I guess he took it seriously..we should be happy for him after what happened between him and Rihanna”. Rick said
“That is true,Harris…what’s up,you’ve been silent for a while,are you okay? Dennis said sI.apping my hand playfully.
“Me? No…” I stuttered.
I kept thinking of a way to deal with him and Valerie.
“Guys let’s hurry and go to school, remember we’ll be doing the music performance there”. Dennis said
“Yeah that’s true,Drake make us coffee so we’ll be able to sing well”. I added.
“You mean ginger tea? He grinned
“Whatever flat a$s, just make us tea”. Rick shouted .
It was an opportunity to make use of his phone.
He left the three of us while dropping his phone beside me. I took the phone knowing he didn’t add a password to it. Rick and Dennis didn’t know what I was doing.
They were busy with their phones so they can’t notice me. I checked his messages with Valerie I got jealous immediately,I don’t know why .
She doesn’t even know he’s the one . Now I know my plan . It’s gonna work .
I’m gonna shock her with Drake’s signature. I stole his signature instantly as I maintained my balance pretending like nothing happened.
“Guys hurry with the tea so we can meet up”. Drake said coming in with a tray of tea.
“I’ll head before you guys…I need to do something very important”. I said and left .

Red and white flowed in different directions as a tray of people flooded our school compound.
I looked around maybe I could catch a glimpse of THE FOUR .
“Aren’t you excited? Jennifer wrapped her arms around me.
“Of course I am…I’m just trying to find Harris”.
“I’ll head inside now…Grace must be probably waiting for me”. Jeff said adjusting his glasses. He was even chewing a gum.
“Jeff? Gum? I said
“Ohh, right.. thanks “. He smiled and left.
“I’m happy for Jeffery”.
“What’s there to be happy about? Oh my gosh! It’s Jake. ! Jennifer screamed all of a sudden withdrawing her arms from mine.
“Jake? I turned towards his direction.
“Awwww,Babe”. He hugged her tight brushing his hands through her hair.
“You made it”. She smiled holding his hands as they walked towards me.
“I told you I was gonna come, didn’t I? He smiled.
He had this blue eyes and broad shoulders. He even brought a flower for her as he gave it to her.
“Awwwwn that’s so sweet of you”. She kssed him as I cleared my throat.
“Ohh, right…Jake, this is Valerie.. Valerie meet Jake”. She said using her hand to demonstrate to us.
“Hello Jake”. I said
“Hi”. He stretched out his hand as I took it warmly.
“Nice to meet you,I’ve finally seen the guy Jenny wants to die for”. I said as Jenny sI.apped my hand .
“We’ll head inside now, you’ll gist me later about Harris”. She winked as I smiled hopefully.
I looked around and got a text from an unknown number.
“Hey Babe ?? it’s Harris,see you in 5 minutes”.
Oh my gosh! I screamed aloud jumping up as I attracted people to me .
I gave them a dry smile so they can mind their own business.
Harris is coming… he’s the one! I knew he’s the one .
I whispered within me.
“Let’s meet at the hallway”. The message came again by this time my heart raced like it was in a competition with tons of heart .
I smelt my body again to be sure I smelt nice .
Yeah… Valerie smells nice .
I got to the hallway and was looking all around . I was peeping from different corners as I adjusted my glasses quite a number of times .
“Looking for someone”. A voice said as I turned to face the person.

I drove to school to meet a swarm of girls drooling around me like bees.
“Oh my gosh,it’s Harris”. They said .
I had to sign some autographs. You know,as a celebrity you need to sign some autographs before they allow you to pass.
“Leave the way…move..make way”. I know that voice.
“Autumn”. I muttered under my breath.
“Babyyyyy”. She came closer as I hugged her tight brushing her chest to my chest with a kss on her lips.
I dragged her away from the crowd.
“Babe,I need you to do something for me”. I said
“What’s that? You know I’ll do absolutely anything for you love” . She touched my nose se.ductively.
“I’m not gonna dance with you today… Valerie will be my Val”. I landed and as I expected.
She screamed.
“What? Wait…Harris, are you telling me you’re gonna choose her over me? She said.
“No,no babe.. it’s you that I love but this is a bet between me and the guys and I have to do it…I swear on my life,it’s you I’ll spend the rest of my life with just promise me you won’t make a fuss or create a scene about it”. I tried explaining.
I touched her shoulder and gave her little massage. I pressed further but kssing her on her lips.
“Just for today? She said again
“Just for today Babe,just for today”. I repeated .
“Fine,no problem”. She said.
I left there in search of Valerie as soon as our van arrived I knew immediately because the girls screamed their names .
Finally,I found her .
She looks so beautiful at the back with her lovely shape .
“Looking for someone”. I said walking towards her .
“Oh my gosh! Harris”. She ran towards me wanting to hug me and paused.
“How am I sure you’re the one? She said.
“Do you have a paper and a book?
“What for?
“You’ll see it now”. She handed it to me .
“Here’s my signature”. I wrote on it
“Oh my gosh! It’s really you, why did you decide to go anonymously…What of Autumn? She said peeping behind me.
“Not to worry about her at all,I bought you a bouquet since you love flowers”. I said bringing a flower from my back .
She hugged me instantly.
I knew this girl likes me.

I avoided the tray of girls swimming towards me so I can reach Valerie .
Her legs must have been aching because I told her to wait for me.
I tried her number,it was not going through too .
I got scared that something must have happened to her!
I ran through the Hallway and finally I found her . She was facing a corner.
I was wondering,what she was doing there . It seems she was even talking to someone.
Who could she be talking to? Probably her friend,that pink princess girl.
I smiled and walked towards her when she was turned away by a strong but familiar hands
HARRIS?
What the h’ll is he doing here? How did he know about this? Did he go through my phone or what? Why is he doing this to me?
He placed his arm around her and walked with her towards the hall .
I looked at the flower I bought for her and the box of chocolates.
Why did she decide to go with Harris? Probably because I was late or because she likes Harris .
I sighted Jennifer coming out of the ladies toilet.
“Hey,pink princess”. I called as she looked back .
That’s the name everyone calls her.
“Hi…Drake. why are you not with your band? They’re starting now..who is your Val for today? She said smiling
She probably don’t know I’m the one who has been texting Valerie.
Her anonymous valentine lover ??
“Hummm…Can you give this to Valerie…The flower is hers and the chocolate bar is for you,Happy Valentine’s day”. I said
“Awwwn,that’s so sweet of you Drake..I’ll tell her about it, thanks a lot and happy Valentine’s day”. She said and left .
“Drake,man where have you been? We need you for the sound man”. Dennis said as he dragged me along to the stage.
I had to do it anyway.
I watched her smiling at Harris .
If she’d be happy with him and not me why will fight for my love? Seeing her happy makes me happy also .
I watched her closely through the thick lens of her glasses. I know Harris so well,he’s trying to use Valerie’s feelings for him to hurt her .
If I try telling her will she believe me? I can’t even tell her how I feel about her .
What do I do?
