It’s been days now and my stomach is growing. I couldn’t even tell anyone , not when I’m being rejected by everyone .
I could remember the last time I went to school was the last day I stopped going. I was humiliated,thank God for Drake who kept saving my siIIy a$s.
I waited under a tree in the garden where I let out my worries to the wind .
The place was serene and silent . I sat down ruminating about how I’ve lived my life .
I wonder why I was created when I’m being rejected, I was accepted by few people which one of them is Drake . Love made me cheat on him…I should have loved him .
My parents does not care about my welfare only Nanny Jade does and she’s suspecting that I’m pregnant.
I can’t afford to let her know and break her heart. I rubbed my little bump in the tank top I was wearing. I had a big hoodie on and I wore a gray jogger pants too.
I smiled as tears dropped down my eyes. My phone beeped and it was a message from Harris .
What! Harris just messaged me ?
I cleaned my eyes and took my phone and read the message.
?Hey, Nerdy …it’s been a while, why didn’t you show up at school? We’re starting our exams soon I just wanna check up on you .
Stay Safe …Harris loves you ??
My eyes actually got better eversince I had a contact with Harris .
Does sx cures that too? Nah! I don’t believe that .
I rubbed it off my mind.
I read and my heart really melted . Why is Harris doing this to me? Why is he making my heart ache so much?
I was still ruminating in my mind, I placed my head in my palm and sobbed slowly when I saw shoes approaching me .
I looked up gradually and recognized the shoes, it’s Drake’s but the fragrance of his perfume smells different.
I was about looking up when I noticed another shoe approaching Drake’s own .
“Hey, Valerie”. Drake’s voice said as I looked up and smiled . My smile faded as soon as I saw the lady beside him.
She looked like an angel, she is slim and beautiful but she’s looking quite older than him .
And what the???
They’re wearing a couple’s T-shirt? My head was burning. I was so pissed and jealous.
How could Drake do this to me? My smiled faded instantly.

“How are you doing Valerie? Why are you out here alone? Come let’s grab a coffee it’s cold outside” . I said dragging her towards a counter under another tree shed .
“I’m fine…I’m so sorry for disturbing you , I just needed someone to talk to since I’ve been deserted by everyone”. She said sitting down on a chair.
She looked different. Her cheeks are looking big and almost every part of her body has added .
I shifted my gaze towards her belly. I couldn’t get a good glance at it because she was wearing a big hoodie and it covered her belly but I’m sure it’s growing.
“You’re not disturbing me”. I smiled sheepishly.
“Ahemm”. Angel cleared her throat. I almost forgot she was standing next to me.
“Humm…meet Angel McKenna”. I introduced her
“Angel…meet? I was about to say when Angel cuts in .
“Valerie? It’s finally nice to meet you… I’ve waited for this day to see you “. Angel said beaming with smiles as she hugged Valerie who kinda felt uncomfortable and she gave her a fake smile .
“Hi…humm, Angel…you look stunning”. She smiled
“I’ll order for something…you girls should chill over here”. I said and headed towards the counter and got us some drinks and desserts.
“Thank you”. I paid and got them to our seats .
I tossed each cups and desserts to them as I sat down in the middle of the round table.
“So…how have you been? Is Nanny aware yet? I said mouthful
She was silent as she kept looking at Angel . I knew she doesn’t want her there.
“Chillax babe! She’s aware. Angel here is like a big sister to me” . I smiled touching Angel’s hair .
“Stop…stop putting me in the sister zone area”. She sI.apped my hand off.

The way they both acted annoys me a lot . In one word,I’m jealous
“Angel and I have been best of friends and you can trust her as much as you trust me, she used to be my very own online friend, she suddenly appeared “. He said on and on and I wasn’t interested in the story he was saying at all.
“Drake here,told me about how sweet you’ve been'”. Angel smiled again, can she just stop giving me this weird smile of hers !
“Shut up fur brain”. He smacked her head as they both laughed.
They looked so good together, they’re even wearing a couple’s T-shirt. I felt hurt , I couldn’t cry . If love was a cloth I’ll decide to be naked all my day till my last breath.
“We need to talk”. I said softly as they both stopped laughing.
“Babe,are you okay? Drake sat up well and was more serious this time
“I…We…We need to talk about this, Drake”. I said pointing to my belly with tears welling up in my eyes.
“What’s up with Harris Junior”. He said and laughed .
“It’s not funny Drake, I’m sixteen and I’m carrying a baby…who does that? I mean does it makes sense? Seriously…we need to talk again”. I said expecting Angel to stand up and give us room.
“You can trust her”. He said,he probably noticed I was looking at her .
“Valerie….you can trust me, I promise I won’t do anything stupid…I know you probably hate me because you’re seeing me close to Drake , I can feel that you have a soft spot for him, and as for your baby… you’ll be fine “. She held my hands which I placed on the table .
I gave her a real smile . I get safe,she just spoke to me like a mother .
“I’m sorry if I doubted you at first, I’m not used to having strangers around me”. I apologized.
“It’s fine darling”. She smiled again
“So…hummm, Harris messaged me while I was seated here…do you think I should tell him about the baby? I’m tired of bearing it all alone , after all..he’s the father of the baby”. I said looking at their eyeballs.
“Yes”. They chorused and smiled
“Telling Harris is the best option,so you won’t have to worry about two people “. Angel suggested
“Yes…do that ASAP”.
“Aside from that, Nanny Jade is already suspecting something and I was thinking if I should ab.ort-”
“What? They shouted without allowing me to complete my word
“Then I can’t stay there anymore….I can’t watch her die if she finds out that I’m pregnant. She’s the only family I have left, My parents are alive but are dead to me…I can just write a note…Drake, please help me…. that’s the main reason why I called you …help me to run away from my trouble…I’m facing my fears already…just… please”. I broke down in tears.

I had to stand up to her side and placed her head close to my belly.
How can I help her runaway? How? I kept thinking in my mind.
“I’ll help you”. Angel voiced out as Valerie stopped crying. She raised her head up from my bosom and stared at Angel .
“Do you mean it? She wiped her tear off.
“Angel? I said looking at her as I sat down.

“Yes, I’ll be going back to Australia soon…I’m actually here because I wanted to see Drake . This is my land actually, but I left due to some reasons best known to me…. anytime you’re ready, we’re leaving”. I explained
The two of them kept staring at me.
“Do you mean it? They chorused
“Do you think I’m joking? I’m darn serious… Valerie, just give Harris a call first and tell him about the baby, leave the rest to me and Drake we’ll sort the rest out”. I said again
“Oh my gosh!”. She stood up and hugged me.
“Watch your baby”. I chuckled and hugged her .
“How can I thank you enough? Drake…..thank her for me”. She smiled as Drake winked at me.
“Hey Babe, just tell Harris about the baby and tell us whatever he says so we can start packing”. I said.
