(GET LOST)
” Let’s go in ” vespertine said as they approached Godiva whose expression has gone back to being cold
” Why did you keep me waiting?”She asked, standing in front of the two guys but she shifted back a bit after Vespertine signaled to her with his eyes
” Why would he put on perfume?” She held her nose, glaring at Raphael like he was crazy
” Can’t believe you made my brother spend the night at your place Just so you could come?” She said
” I guess I’m not even welcome ” Raphael said and turn to leave but vespertine held him back..
” Ignore her” he said, taking him into the building, leaving Godiva outside
” Tch!!” She scoffed staring at the door to the house then at the maids
She was trying to transfer aggression on them but they were doing their job pretty well
She scoffed again before entering the house
” Raphael? ” Alora called, surprised and made to hug him but he shifted back
” I’ve told you to stop being a pest will you?” He said while Vespertine smothered back a laugh
” Sorry sis ” he said and alora glared at him before turning to Raphael again
“What are you doing in our house?” She asked, already angry
” l want to employ him.. “Came Godiva’s voice.
She just got into the sittings room
” He’s putting on perfume” Alora said walking to Godiva
“Is there something wrong with me putting on perfume?” Raphael asked, pretending not to know anything about her allergy
” Everthing is wrong!!. Vesper, didn’t you tell him we don’t use such in my house ?” Godiva asked staring at her brother
“I did but…
“He did but I still put them on so that I won’t be offered this Job.. ” Raphael sat down on the couch, looking around the house
” Now I see why she’s rude..” he muttered but Godiva heard him
” You’ll need to leave your working place and house and start living here..” Vespertine said
“You didn’t tell me that.. “Raphael turned to him
“It’s a full time work, so please understand..” he said with pleading eyes and Raphael stared at him unbelievable
” I’m outta here ” he stood up
” We’ll pay you 100 Million dollars, yeah?” Vespertine said and the three of them, Lora, diva and Raphael turned to him with a frown
” Are you ¢razy? That’s one huge sum of money to spend on someone I don’t even know..” Godiva snapped
“Of course, he’s here for a difficult task so you should pay him that much ” Vespertine smiled pulling Raphael up and taking him into the room next to Godiva’s
” This will be your room from today.. ” he said, showing him around the room which was neat and well kept
” I….
“You don’t need to worry bother in-law, just tell me if you need something, I will make sure I make it happen and please you shouldn’t fight with my sister like I said, she’s kinda sick in the head most times..” Vespertine said in one breath
” Brother in-law?”
” Yeah, I have two very beautiful sisters, I’m sure you’ll fall for one of them ” He smiled and Raphael grimaced
” What’s the kid doing?” Godiva wondered aloud as she walked towards the door with Alora. They both stood there staring at the two guys
” I’m hungry..” Vespertine pouted
” You Don’t expect me to cook for you right? ” Raphael asked and he chuckled
” Right, you’re a great cook, I give you your flowers ” he complimented with a smile
” But You don’t have to.. we have more than enough maids already” he added
” Let’s go eat.. ”
” Nah, I’m fine ” Raphael said
” C’mon ” Vespertine pouted, taking Raphael out of the room
” You two should join us.. ” he whispered to his sisters as he walked to the dining with Raphael.
” Be my guest ” He said, dishing out a portion of food for Raphael then himself
Godiva and Alora also join the table, the two girls sitting opposite the boys
Raphael took the chop sticks and was about taking one of the drumsticks but Godiva held the chicken too
” I want it”.. she said looking at Raphael
He made to let go but vespertine held his hand and shook his head indicating he shouldn’t
” I touched it first..” he said, staring back at her
He just wanted her to get sick of him and maybe regret her actions of coming for him for the job
” Diva, he’s your guest, you should let him.. ” Vesper whispered staring at the both of them trying hard to stop himself from cracking up
Alora was watching them too as they kept shifting the plate in front of them
As they struggle with the plate, the sauce on it left the plate, falling on Godiva and staining her white gown
” OMG!!! “. she screamed, turning to Raphael..
She took the plate and aim at him but he quickly duck
” I really didn’t mean to do that… ” He said but Godiva wouldn’t listen. He was gonna apologise but unknown to him, the dvil’s bride doesn’t listen to apologies
” This is not gonna end well ” Vespertine muttered
” I know right ” Alora agreed
Godiva took the glass of water on the table and emptied it’s content on Raphael’s face
” Oh, Fk ” Alora and Vespertine gasped.
” Leave!!!” Godiva shouted and started walking away
Raphael inhaled as he stood on the spot. He took long strides towards her and tapped her shoulder lightly
” Hey.. ” he said and she frowned turning to him..
” What are…. ” The bucket of water which the maid was using to mop the floor poured on her, wetting her from head to toe before she could complete her statement
Vespertine’s mouth dropped open at once
” I didn’t see that coming ” he gasped
” This is ¢razy !!” Alora said
Godiva stood on the spot unable to move or comprehend what happened, she went dumb and numb that moment
” I didn’t want the fking job in the first but the kid wouldn’t give me some breathing space and that’s why I came. Stop making it look like you’re doing me a favor young lady, I’m the one doing you a favor here!!
” And what? You poured water on me? Who are you to do that?” Raphael asked
Godiva made to slap him but he caught her hand and drew her closer to himself, her chest pressing against his
” I’m not nice at all, I refuse to play dumb for the second time” he whispered releasing her and with that, he walked out of the house leaving Godiva in total shock
Vespertine left the dining and went after him
” OMG.. what just happened?” Alora asked shocked..
Godiva couldn’t help but blink non stop, everything that happened felt like a dream to her
He humiliated her, he f*cking humiliated her in her own house
She balled her fist tightly and stormed out of the house, going after him
She was surely going to show him how ¢razy and dangerous she could be
