Lissa’s pov :
The school was boring, as usual, boring lectures, boring students, and boring professors. I was so excited when the last lesson came to an end. For as long as there are no pranks and trouble, school is always boring for me.?
“We should get going, remember we need to talk,” I told Emily and she rolled her eyes.
“Yea we should,” she said and we left for our car.
Drive home was silent, it has always been. I hope we get to settle our difference today.
“Emily needs to come back to her normal sense,” I thought as we drive home.
when we got home I packed the car and we went upstairs, took a shower, and change into something simple.
“We should eat first before talking, ” I suggested
“Yea, i’m really hungry. I could not get to eat during the lunch break” she answered.
We both stood up and went to the kitchen to get something to eat.
“What should we eat ?” I said
“What about french fries and apple cider vinegar or maybe we should order for pizza?” She suggested
“French fries should do”
We prepared the French fries and we sat down to eat, when we were done we went back upstairs to talk.
“You want us to talk,” she said
“Yes, I do” I replied not knowing where to start from
” You see Emily, it’s being long we sit to talk, I miss you Emily I do” she rolled her eyes
There was silence for sometimes, I guess she doesn’t know what to say too.
“Emily please talk to me, I know I have not been there for you for sometimes now but i’m sorry, i’m really sorry” I broke the silent but she said nothing
“Emily please talk to me, I’m tired of this silent treatment, I’m sick and tired of the new us. ”
“It’s nothing Lissa”
“It’s everything Emily,We used to be best friends, we shared virtually everything together. We don’t keep secret also but now I don’t understand what’s going on, Emily I have not been a good friend right??”
“Yea you’ve not been a good friend recently, you distance yourself from me, Lissa!, ever since you started having that strange dream, you changed, you really did Lissa!.you stop been my playmate” she busted out
“I never knew I did all these, bestie I am sorry,” I said and pull her into a hug.
“I promise to change I really miss you”
“I miss you too, I miss mum and I miss dad Lissa,” she said and bursted into tears ?
“I miss mum and dad too. I miss the weekend outings, family hangs out, I miss the Friday night, the fun, everything” I said as I tried to fight back the tears threatening to fall.?
“Emily, it’s ok.you have me, you have mum and dad here. And I know they are willing to love you and care for you like they always do, you just have to let them. Please Emily let it go, you need to move on, enough of the tears. Emily, it’s time to make them proud” I said as the tears i have been trying to fight back finally dropped?
“Thanks best, you are the best. I love you” she said and she finally cleaned the tears from her face.
“Let’s go prepare something for mum and dad, they will soon be back,” she said and stood up dragging me along.
That’s my friend!!!??
“My friend is back!!!” I screamed
“Am sooooo happy,” she said and jumped on the bed.i also follow suit.
We kept screaming and jumping on the bed until we got tired.
“First to reach the kitchen,” Emily said as she ran downstairs
Tha’s my cr.azy friend?
Preparing food today was fun, we gisted about a lot of things. I’m so happy.
I’m happy we are back??
Emily’s pov :
Speaking with Lissa about us change everything
, it changed me, it brought us back together.
I’m so happy!!!??
We did a lot of things including cooking for mum and dad
Yes, I have chosen to move on ?
Actually now like this, we are waiting for them to come back so we can have family time out.

Mum and dad came back and were surprised to see me and Lissa, happy and chatting.it been long we did that .i could see smiles on their faces. they went upstairs to change and we ate and played games.we really had fun
After everything, we badded them good night and went back to our room, took our bath and get ready to sleep.
“Bestie, you’ve not told me about the mysterious dream,” I told Lissa
“I wished to Emily, but I don’t remember the dream when I wake up. everything seems strange” she said
“Don’t worry you got me”
“I sure do”
“Good night bestie”
“Good Night Hunny bunny”
“Tomorrow will be fun” I yawned
“Sure it will be with the new Lissa and Emily”
