Lissa’s pov :
We got home, parked the car and went inside. Mum and dad were seated discussing.
“Good day mum, good day dad” we greeted in union
“How are my darlings doing?” Dad asked
“We are fine dad” we answered and sat beside mum
“Dad, what are you guys discussing?” Emily asked while I press my phone.
I raised my head to listen. They seem serious with so many papers and documents littered all around.
“Actually it’s about the Aderson contract. We awarded the contract today to Aidan Ivan Empire and we will be having a one week conference in France in the next two weeks” dad answered
“So you will be traveling to France?” I asked
“Well dear yes but not just me but you and Emily” he said and I was shocked
“Us?!!” We asked in unison
“Yes dear you both are going with me”
“What about mum she can’t stay alone” I said trying to make him change his mind
“Don’t worry dear, I’m leaving for New York next week for a conference” mum answered smiling
“We can take care of ourselves even without mum. After all we are not kids anymore” Emily whined
“Yes dad we are not kids” I supported
“Of course I know my darlings are now matured but I want you both to understand what business is all about in the real world not just the ones you learnt from class” he answered
“But dad what about our study” Emily asked
“You have nothing to worry dear. School resumes next month” he answered and we had no choice but to comply
“Ok dad” I answered and we left for our room
“Do you think it’s a good idea to go to France?” Emily asked immediately we entered
“Well France is a nice place to go and you know that but going with dad I will say it’s a bad idea” I answered sitting on the bed
“You’re right Lissa”
“There will be no clubbing!” I said sadly
“We will be so bored with dad around and we won’t even have chance to associate”
“Well dad can be so overprotective in some aspect, but I will love it if we don’t associate with anybody cause if we do I might end up killing someone”
“I trust you in that aspect but I pray all goes well” she replied
“Sure, let’s just pray for the best” I replied
“I heard that the CEO of Aidan Ivan Empire is hot” Emily said
“Hot like chilly pepper?” I asked
“Common Lissa, I mean super duper hot, he’s said to be cute and he looks like a demigod”
“Emily where did you get all this information from?” I asked kind of surprised
“Well I heard some girls talking about him. They said only few people have been oppurtuned to see him. I also heard he had a cute friend too”
“How does this affects me?” I asked getting angry
“Well they said he hate girls just the way you hate guys. I also heard he has no female worker at work, even at home except for one old woman”
“Emily that’s enough” I said and went to the bathroom
I don’t care if he like girls or not. He should better not cross my path.
Aidan’s pov :
We got to the Empire and I stepped down. I went straight to my office to sign all the remaining files and documents before heading to Mason’s office.
“Congrat my darling bff” Mason said immediately I stepped into his office
“Thanks man” I answered hugging him
“Give me the details of everything” he said sitting on his chair while I sat opposite him
“Well before I say anything where is the champagne? I asked looking around
“Let me call the receptionist” he said
He called the receptionist ad few minutes later he came in with two glass of champagne. I sipped from my drink and dropped it back.
“Well everything went well” I began
I gave him the detail of everything that happened at the meeting including meeting Violeta. I also told him everything that happened at BJ’s Restaurant including meeting the cr@zy btch.
Mason could not stop laughing. He laughed so hard that I felt like punching him. I know I acted stup!d but he shouldn’t be laughing at me.
“Mason stop it’s not funny” I said
“Of course it is. I cant believe there is a girl out there that was able to tame my Mr bada$$” he answered laughing
“Look I know I was stup!d to have acted that way but that doesn’t mean you should laugh at me. You’re are my friend for crying out loud” I said sadly, sipping my drink
“Common Aidan, I was just joking. Although I’m surprised as well. Like I know you. It took you less than one hour to replace all our female workers at home. Remember the girl that trying se.ducing you at the club, you almost str@ngled the innocent girl. What about the one that mistakely hit you at a bar? Aidan you made sure she slept in jail for a month.” He said
Of course he was right, I have done so many terrible things to females who did little thing to me. I don’t care if what you did was worth been punished or not. I punished anyone for as long as you are a female
“Look Mason, this girl in particular have one aura or should I say she possess a kind of courage that can make you calm down and want to see what she’s up to” I said
“Well i’m happy there is someone out there that doesn’t fear you. At least with her we can make progress”
“Progress for what?” I asked
“Progress to fulfil the love quest. If we can make you fall in love with her I guess we will be going back to Laviana, sooner than later” he replied
“Love or no love I don’t care. That’s not even my major problem now”
“What is your major problem if I may ask?”
“All I can think of is to go home, take a shower, eat dinner and hug my pillow” I replied standing up
“Just make sure you think about her maybe that will help you fall for her”
“Mason I don’t want to fall for her. Not that sa$sy girl. You need to see how aggressive she can be. G0sh I’m sure that girl will be single because I’m just wondering who will ever love or date her” I dropped my cup and made to stand up
“You don’t need to wonder. You are the perfect person for her” Mason said and I glared
“Meet me at home” I said and left his office
I can never ever fall in love with an aggressive, sa$sy, rude and lousy girl like that girl.
Never!!!!!
