Lissa’s pov :
I stormed angrily into the room. I paced around angrily. The door opened and Emily and Mason walked in, with Mason grinning from ear to ear.
“Someone seems jealous” he said and I scoffed
“Lissa, can you please sit down” Emily said
I sat on the b.ed but stood up immediately
“I will just go take some fresh air” I said and made my way to the door
“Someone is missing Aidan already” he laughed
I glared at him and finally opened the door.
Truth be told, I can’t stay angry with Aidan for long. I got outside, enjoying the cool breeze.
I sat on one of the pavement, waiting patiently for his return. I decided to play candy crush game on my phone.

I got tired staying outside alone. I decide to go in and wait for him. I stood up and went inside. I got to the door and was about opening the door when I heard Emily having a conversation with someone.
She seems to be on call, because I could only hear her talk. She seems scared so I placed my ear to the door so I could hear what she was saying.
“I will do whatever you want, just don’t hurt her” she said
“Who are they planning to hurt” I wondered
“Please, she’s my best friend, don’t hurt her, I promise I won’t call the police. Please just take me instead” she added
What???
Someone is trying to use me against her?”
I opened the door angrily. When she saw me, she was shocked. She quickly dropped her phone, trying so hard to hide her nervousness.
“Emily, who is trying to use me to threaten you?” I asked
She was shocked but she quickly conceal it
“Nobody, what are you even talking about?” she answered nervous
I walked closer to her and held her hand
“Emily, I know you so well. There’s no point hiding anything from me. I heard your conversation” I told her
“You did?” She asked and I nodded
She narrated everything that happened to me. Starting from how she found out about her parents’ seath and how she was to meet with someone when we get back to Miami. She told me everything.
Who the h.ell try to threaten my bff?!!!!
“Emily, why didn’t you tell me this all this while. I thought we agreed on no more secret”
“I’m sorry best, I was afraid. I’m so sorry. Please forgive me” she said crying
“Come on. I forgive you. You’re my best friend. I can’t keep grudges against tou. Do Mason knows about this??, ” I asked
“No. I don’t want to get him involved” she answered
“Emily, Aidan and Mason can help. I know for sure they can. I will go look for Aidan” I said
“I don’t think I can stay here alone” she said
“I will call Mason to come over. You should tell him yourself ” I answered standing up
I left the room and went to Aidan’s room. I knocked and the door opened. Mason pop his head out.
“He’s not back” he said
“I know, I’m here to see you” I answered
“Me???? Hope I’m safe??” He asked
“No you’re not” I replied pushing him into the room
“Help, help, help” he yelled
I busted out laughing.
“Stop been a crybaby” I said and he joined me in laughing
“Emily needs you,” I told him
“Does she miss me that much??” He asked
“She has something important to tell you. You should go meet her now” I said, sitting on the b.ed
“I will wait for Aidan” I added
“Are you trying to make me leave my room so you can fl!rt with Aidan?” He asked with an eye roll
“Be serious for once, this is a life and death matter” I said
“Life and death??. I should better get going” he said and finally left the room.
I sighed
I will wait until Aidan comes back, I know he will be of help!
Aidan’s pov :
I followed Viol to whatever place she was leading me to. I felt so tired and sleepy.
“Where exactly are we going??” I asked
“Just few more minutes we will be there” she replied
We walked for what seems like foreverrrr.
“Are we not there yet??” I asked frustrated
She shaked her head negatively
I was so angry that I had to drag her back.
“Don’t you dare play pranks on me, where are we going exactly?” I yelled
She shivered a little but quickly composed herself
“Aidan you need to trust me. It’s for the good of your friends especially Lissa and Emily”
“What are you talking about???” I asked calming my nerves
“When we get there, you will understand”
I released my grip from her and gave her a nod. We kept walking and few minutes later we got to a place that looks like an abandon warehouse.
“What!!! A warehouse in a hotel?” I gasped
“Let’s go in” she said
We entered into the warehouse and I saw a guy tied up to a chair. He look tired and shaggy. He must have be beaten up or so.
Two other huge guys were standing close to him with guns in their hands
“Aidan” Viol called
“This guy here, was sent to hurt Emily” she said
“Hurt Emily??” I asked
“Yes. One of my guards caught him placing a camera in their room to check if she will sell them out. After much beating, I found out that someone wants her dead”
“I still doesn’t get it”
“Aidan, Emily lost her parents some months back and the same people involved in their death, wants her dead too”
“What!!!”
“Aidan, you have to keep it has a secret”
“Ok I will, but how does this affect Lissa?” I asked curious
“Well they plan on using Melissa as a bait to get Emily, considering their closeness”
I mouthed an ohh
“You know what, I need to strategize a plan. Right now i’m so tired” I said
“Ok”
I left the warehouse and went back to the hotel. I opened the door to see Lissa standing. She seems to be waiting for me
“Aidan” she called
She walked closer to me hugging me
“Emily is in trouble” she cried
“What??”
“I overheard her talking on phone to someone, she’s in trouble” she cooed
“Babe, calm down and explain things to me” I said
I made her sit on the b.ed and sat beside her. I kssed her on her forehead and finally lift her chin up. I placed kss on her l!p slowly
When I noticed she was calm, I sighed
“Cupcake, talk to me”
She sighed before talking
“I waited for you to come back but when I did not see you, I decide to go back to my room. I was about entering when I overheared her talking on phone. It seems someone was threatening her. She was scared judging from her voice” she said
“Please we have to save her. I think she found out something about her parents’ death and someone is using me to threaten her” she added
“Does Mason know about this?” I asked
She nodded
“Don’t worry all will be well”
She hugged me crying
“Come on, don’t be a cry baby” I said
“You should go to sleep, you look tired” I added
“I can’t sleep” she cooed
“I will make you sleep” I answered winking
I stood up to pull off my cloth. I went to the bathroom to take a shower. When I was done, I cleaned my body and changed into my night clothes.
By the time I got back to the room, she was already lying on the b.ed.
“Have you taken your bath?” I asked
She nodded
I joined her on the b.ed
“Come” I cooed
She came closer placing her head on my chest.
“Don’t worry, we will find solution to it” I said f0ndling her hair

I watched her sleep peacefully
I need to strategize a plan quick enough.
I can’t let anyone of them get hurt
I will do something by tomorrow
