Season two episode 7
Dian’s POV
I left the house earlier to sign the contract with Mr Malik but to my disappointment he wasn’t there.
He travel out leaving the contract in the care of Mabel.
“We should sign the contract now.” I told her but she shrugged it off.
“Not here.” She said and I scoffed. She’s being a pain in the a$$ right now.
“Where then? The mansion? Or better still in a restaurant? I asked but she shook her head.
“In dad’s new hotel, I got a personal VIP room there.” She said and I nodded.
I don’t care where she wanted to sign the contract because I know that nothing can happen between us.
We went to the hotel and she ordered a bottle of champagne while I go through the contract.
A knock came on the door and she opened it.
“You? I heard her asked and my head snapped to the door.
I couldn’t see the person so I stood up from the bed and headed to the door.
There Aurora was standing with the wine in her hands.
“Sorry I was told to bring this here.” She said calmly. Mabel collected the plater from her and shot her a disgustful glare.
I keep studying her expression but she looks calm, very calm. She didn’t look into my eyes the whole time.
“You are working here? I asked and she nodded.
“Babe, come let’s finish what we started.” Mabel said and I sigh.
“I’ll text you later, we need to talk.” I said and went back inside. Mabel closed the door on her face.
“You are acting really childish Mabel, why you treating the poor girl like that? I asked angrily and she scoffed.
“Don’t be mad, she is a nobody anyway.” She snapped.
“You are so mean, let’s sign this shit so I can leave.” I said angrily and she stopped on her track.
“You are talking to me like that because of her? Am your fiance Dian.” She said and sniffed in.
She started shedding tears.
Though i was mad at her but seeing her cry makes my heart soften.
I can’t bear to see a woman crying, that is my number one weakness. TEARS
“Please just forget about that Mabel, let’s finish this first.” I said calmly.
I signed my part and pass the file to her.
She signed it and hand over a copy to me.
I stood up from the bed and straighten my clothes.
“See you around fiance.” I said and picked up my car key and wallet before leaving the room.
I got downstairs and eye search Aurora but couldn’t find her.
I entered my car and drove off.
I just feel like she was sad earlier, even though she tried to mask it it was still visible for me to see through her buy why was she sad?
I drove inside the mansion and park my car in the parking lot before going inside the house.
Aurora’s POV
Gosh, I’m a stupid dreamer.
What did I expect? Of course they are both engaged and are adults.
They are free to do whatever they want but it just hurts. It hurts that he doesn’t show any interest in me.
I doubt if he even like me as a person, sometimes I feel like he just pitied me.
I sat down on the counter and face palmed myself.
The memory is just too much.
Have never been love back, I love like a stupid person but I end up hurting the most.
The woman whom I called my mother left me, my first boyfriend whom I loved with everything and assumed that he loved me too only not to be loved back.
I’m bad in love!
Nobody wants me, nobody cares about how I feel.
You don’t know how it feels when you’re madly in love with someone and it came out that he’s engaged.
This I the worst shit have ever pit myself into.
I feel a hot liquid running down my cheek and quickly clean it up with my thumb.
It hurts!
“Aurora!!! Arielle yelled and I looked up to see her staring at me.
“You were off.” She said and walk close to me.
“You’re crying? What’s going on? She asked and I shook my head.
Am not telling.
What Mabel said some minutes ago ring back in my memory.
*Baby come let’s finish what we started*
“I saw Dian leaving the hotel, did he said something to you.” She asked while I kept silent.
I hugged her tightly and cried on her shoulder.
“Nobody wants me Arielle, am I that ugly? I asked staring at her for the truth.
“You’re not ugly babe, you’re beautiful the way you are. Don’t think about it he doesn’t have eyes to notice a precious gem like you, he is blind.” She said and I can’t help but chuckle.
“Then why is everybody away from me?
“But I have always been with you Aurora.” She said and I smiled faintly.
“Why is it that no man loves me? I feel like I’m cursed or something.” I said and she shushed me.
“Don’t talk any further for what you just said is a lie, I love you, you dad loves you, our love is enough to hold you up.” She said and i nodded.
But I still need one love.
