” kennedy, you’re wasting our time already. Don’t worry, it’s not a most you sing this song just sing anyone you like.” Tim uttered.
“We just wanna hear you voice.” Harry said.
“Okay. Mmmmm.” I cleared my throat,I was about to sing when my phone rings. I checked the ID,mom?
“Please I have to pick this call.” I mumbled.
“Sure,go ahead.” Tim said while Harry rolled his eyes.

? where are you Kennedy!, why ain’t you home yet? I’m worried about you. ? she said.
? I’m sorry mom,what happened to you?

I’m just gonna used this opportunity to escape from them.
?oh my gosh! Mom are you alright? Oh no,you’re in the hospital now? Okay I’m gonna join you soon. Please take care mom. ?
? Kennedy are you crazy? What are you saying? I’m perfectly fine so why should I be in the hospital when nothing is wrong with me. ?

“What happened to your mom? Tim asked. Thank God,I hope it work.
” she had an accident. ” I cried out.
“Really? Harry smiled.
” I don’t know what to do,I’m going to kill myself if I lose my mom. She’s the only I have.” I lied as tears streamed down.
“You have to go now,she needs you.” Tim said and harry almost laughs.
“But I have to sing…
” don’t worry about it,you mom needs you. Voice winner can wait.” Harry said.
“Sure you go ahead.” Tim said and he walked out with Harry.
Oh my goodness! Don’t tell me it really works. Thank you mom I can imagine what would have happened is you’ve didn’t call me.
What a dimwit I forgot that they’re going to ask me to sing. Jeez what am I gonna do now. Odette won’t help me because I’m not kendra. This so annoying. I walked out the private room and boarded a cab home.
I alighted from the car and rushed inside. I opened the door and entered mom’s room. She just sat on the bed and patted her hands together.
“I’m sorry mom.” I said and she just glared at me.
“What’s that for?
“Mom I’m sorry. Guess what? If you haven’t called I’m pretty sure, they’re going to evict me from the the contestants.” I said and sat beside her.
“What are you talking about?
” well I stole a tape from kendra…”
“You did what? She yelled.
” no mom,I didn’t hurt her. Just that…she collected the tape record from Odette so I used Odette’s voice for the voice winner. ” I mumbled.
“Really? Were you chosen?
“Not yet mom. I was asked to sing but your call interrupted,mom you saved me.” I said happily.
“I saved you but I’ll not be able to save you next time. What if you’re asked to sing,what are you going to do? Huh? She asked.
” I’m going to find a way to save myself.” I said.
“Kennedy, you’re playing with fire.”
“Fire?
” yeah,you have the gut to used Odette voice. Kennedy, if Odette get to know that you used her voice for something, I swear she’s going to kill you and you know what? I won’t be able to save you. My power doesn’t works on her.” Mom said and I feel scared immediately.
“Mom.”
“Be careful Kennedy.” Mom patted my shoulder.
????(???)?Darlene’s POV??
Immediately I listening to the song I felt inferior. I looked at Luna who was busy search for the voice owner,Melina just sat on the sofa quietly.
“Darlene what are you going to do? Corinne asked.
“This voice is a challenge to you. Darlene you have to do something.” Luna said.
“Maybe the person edited her voice to make it perfect. Darlene there is nothing to be afraid of,kyle is going to choose you. He knows that you’re the best so calm down babe.” Melina said.
“This is just a little challenge Darlene,but to be frank with you. That lady is amazing, I love the editor. It made her voice perfect.” Delancy said and I rest my head on Luna’s shoulder.
“Gotcha!…” Luna exclaimed and raised my head and peeped on her phone.
“Her name is Kennedy Richard, Diamond stars student.” Luna read out her data.
“Thank goodness, I need to see her or maybe I should evit her admission instead. It will be more easier right?
” don’t be silly Darlene, she mights just be playing pranks on us. I don’t think such a voice exist. This voice is more than perfect,it’s extremely perfect.” Corinne said.
“Don’t worry,I’m gonna deal with the lady.” Luna announced.
“Really? I asked. I love my teammates,they’re the best.
” yeah,she’ll not sing. Because She doesn’t deserves to be among us.”Luna said.
“Thanks sisters.” I said and hugged her.
“You’re always welcome honey.” They chorused.
????(???)?Kendra’s pov??
I rushed inside Odette’s room. She was sleeping when I entered, I sat on the bed and hold her cold hand. She looks fine to me,she still the same. It seems like nothing is wrong with her.
I touched her forehead.
“Odette wake up.” I whispered in her ear.
“Humm kendra you’re back?
” yep…” I don’t know maybe I should tell her or ask her if she’s OK.
“Odette are you feeling any pain?
“Nope I’m good. What happened?
” nothing… I lost the tape. ” I mumbled but she didn’t say anything. So I continued.
“Someone stole it from me but I promise to get it back. I’m sorry.” I muttered.
“Really? Someone stole it? Or she stole it? I widened my eyes in shock.
” ermm.”
“Don’t worry,make sure you get it back.” Odette said and laid back on the bed.
“Okay.” I mumbled and went out,heading toward my mom room. I knocked on the door and she asked me to come in.
“Nothing is wrong with Odette mom.” I said.
“You think she’s going to tell you. It’s not physically kendra. If you don’t get her blood you might lose your sister.”
“What?
” she doesn’t know that she’s cursed. Whatever that happens to Odette she caused it,I’m just trying help even though am not the one behind her misfortunes. She’s OK to everything but deep down she isn’t fine.” Mom said and slept on the bed.
“Mom.” I called but she didn’t answer.
“Oh no,” I have to help her. Even if it going to hurt her. I don’t mind,I have to save my sister. I’m going to get her blood in the midnight.
?????(???)?Kyle’s pov??
I sat on a couch and operated my laptop. Tim told me that they haven’t confirmed if the lady is the one we’ve been looking for. I hope she is but I don’t believe that kind of voice exist.
I glanced over at the clock. 02:30 am. I have to finished everything now. I grabbed a bottle of water and I gulped it down.
Suddenly I heard a familiar faint voice, singing the same song Kennedy or whatever her name is sang. This time her voice is more than perfect. I sprang up and walked out of my room. I checked Tim out but he’s sleeping.
I went outside but later entered when I saw that all the guards was still awake. What am I gonna do. Wait! What if someone is listening to the recorded song.
I checked their rooms but they’re all fast asleep.
“That means the lady isn’t far away from this mansion.” I concluded.
I sneaked out of the mansion using the backdoor. I made my way toward the bush path. I kept walking, everywhere was hushed like a graveyard.
I kept walking until I saw something that made my heart skipped a beat.
“Oh my g©sh!

My alarm woke me up around 02:40 am. I sneaked out of my room and tiptoes to Odette’s room. I unlocked door and twisted the doorknob.
I entered her room and walked towards her bed but she’s not inside.
Maybe she’s using the restroom. I need to get out of her room now.
I was about to walked but then I remembered that I didn’t hear any sound. I opened the restroom door and peeped in but she’s not inside.
.” where could she be now? She rarely steps out.” I mumbled.
I walked out and went to the kitchen to check if she’s there…
