Odette strolled down the hallway,she was in a strapless purple gown which stopped right on her thigh with a headphone on her head. She only has five days to spend after that she has decided to save her mother even if it gonna take her life,she deserves to live.
Some members have been evicted and banned from another concert for their little mistake. Odette was doing pretty good hiding her power. Kyle has been a great help to her,though she’s lagging behind when it comes to dance but she’s trying her best to meet up with others. With the few days they’ve spent together kyle and Odette seem inseparable as the bond they shared kept overwhelmed with different feelings,love,emotions but they ain’t ready to admit the fact.

She kept walking freely until a strong hand pulled her to a corner.
“Nicky.” Odette muttered,her eyes widened in surprise. She stared into his eyes which held different emotions as he stared back.
“Why are you avoiding me Odette?” He asked with serious expression.
“Avoiding you? Don’t be absurd Nicky! Odette rolled her eyes and free herself from his grip.
“But you kept shutting me out,why?

Mere looking at him,I could read what’s going on his mind. He regretted his action toward me.
“Tell me Odette,do you love kyle? He asked and I glanced up at him.
“What do you mean?
“Look at me Odette.” He snapped and I pouted my lips. “Do you? I just wanna know and I’ll be very happy if you tell me the truth.” He said and I smiled.
“First you have to tell me why you choose to be my friend in the first place,I’m so curious to know why.” I muttered and rest my back on the wall as I stared at him.
“What…wh…what.”
“Don’t worry,I understand you. Kyle is right anyway you’re not the kind of guy I should be with and about what happened few days ago,believe me I don’t hold any grudges now.” I sighed and he blinked abruptly.
“I’m sorry.” He said in a choked voice with his head down. Don’t be surprise, I knew his motives toward me immediately I set my eyes on him and I just ignored kyle what said because I wanted to figure it out myself.
“You could change whom you used to be Nicky and be a better person. Be selfless and quit being a playboy.” I patted his right shoulder in a gentle manner and walked away. “Hey…be good.” I called out but he stopped me.
“Wait up Odette,I still found you a little strange. Anyway thanks for the advise,I guess I don’t get the chance to have you. I hope we’re still friend.” He smiled and I did the same.
“Maybe. I’m off,” I shrugged and walked away.
Five days seems like forever,how I wish everything ends at once. Once I free her soul then I would be leaving human world for good. I have no futures in this world,start a new live in witch town and embrace my destiny.
“What take you so long? Kyle asked immediately I stepped inside.
“Something came up but what matters now is that I’m here now.” I said and shrugged my shoulders.
“My gosh! I hope they’re for me Kyle,I can’t wait to devour everything.” I mumbled with mouth full.
“Seriously? But you’re about to finished everything. Chocolates freak.” He uttered and I didn’t bother to reply him rather I poured every content inside the shop bag on the sofa and picked them one after the other. I unwrapped a gum and shoved it inside my mouth. I cleaned up the mess I’ve created.
“Kind of,thanks anyway.” I said and stared as he chewed the gum in a lovely manner.
“Kyle…
“Uh…huh.” He responded.
“I wanna tell you something.” I sighed and l quickened let my hair down,I always did that whenever I’m nervous about awkward situations.
“You’re scared? Kyle asked and I widened in surprise. How did he know about my current feeling? “I can’t sense that through your heart beat,the melody it produced isn’t at normal state. Don’t worry,I found it hard to believe but I can sense you feelings whenever you’re around.” Kyle said and faked the cough. My g©sh! Did he possesses any power?
“Tsk! It’s about my mother but first can you keep a secret? I asked and he nodded.
“Kyle I don’t think I’ll be able to help with the concert anymore…
“Why? He changed his position and focused on me as he kept his phones beside him.
“Listen and don’t interrupt,I might change my mind.” I said firmly but he just nodded without talking. “I’m sorry Kyle but I have to save my mother. She’s dying,her soul was enchanted for so long and right now she needs me more than anyone else. I’ve got to save her even if it’s going to last for a second I want to know what she looks like. I want to feel her love and her touch…”
“I’m sorry but Odette what happened to her?
“Someone enchanted her soul,before my voice only heal her wounds and light up her soul but right now,she really dying…darkness has overwhelmed her soul if I don’t save her now then I won’t get the chance to be with her forever.” I said as I wiped the tears that streamed down my cheeks.
“I don’t understand you Odette.” He shrugged.
“I’m…I’m…a…I can’t say it.” I said frustratedly with my head down as my tears kept dropping on the floor. Why was it hard to open up to him? Just why?
“Tell me everything Odette but first let me tell you this…I don’t care who you are or whom you used to be,always remember that you can count on me.” He said and I took a deep breathe. I stretched out my hands and light came out. Kyle was frightened but he quickly pulled himself together.
“I’m not telling you everything because I want to but because I might not get the chance to help you.” I wrapped my hair around my right hand. “I’m a wtch!
“What? What kind of ruse are you cooking up Odette? He asked but I stared at him with a serious expression. “Omo! You are Odette,your heartbeat is normal,with the kind of sound it produced…how?
“My mother is the wtch queen who fell in love with human,though she was killed by her maid but her soul is alive if I really want to save her…I have to give up my voice to free her soul from the enchant Daisy flower. If I was able to set her soul free then my voice would be gone too.”

Can’t believe she’s really a witch but it’s obvious. Ordinary human can’t have such power she possesses. I’m just a fool for not noticing. Why did I find it hard to believe that it,if she didn’t sing with me we might lose but at the same time she has got to save her. I won’t be selfish to keep her,she has done enough and I won’t try to convince her.
There’s a connection between us that I can’t decipher. I could read her heartbeat even if she’s near or not. I tried to keep it in but I just can’t hold it back anymore.
“I’m not going to stop you Odette,I’ll tell Davis about the emergency…
“What?
“Nope,I won’t tell him about your secrets. They’re safe with me and make sure you save your mother.”
“What…what about the training?
“Your mother needs you,don’t worry about anything…I’m gonna sort it out. Please be safe and I’ll be happy if there a way to save her without giving up your voice. You…” I couldn’t finish when she embraced me and tight her grips around me.
“Thank you so much.” She cried out and I patted her back in a gentle manner.
Please be safe…I found it hard to admit the feelings but Odette I really feel something I could say.

A car parked in front of the mansion and Odette alighted from it. The driver drove away in a full speed. I was around when I saw her but I thought she won’t be back until two weeks. So what’s happening? I hope isn’t what I’m thinking.
She rushed inside with just her handbag.
“Hey Odette.”
“Ken…dra.” We engulfed in a warm embrace.
“I missed you like crazy Odette.” I cried on her shoulder.
“Oh my little half.” She said as we disengaged.
“What…she glanced at her wristwatch and whispered in my ear.
“I will be back.”
“Wait…
She dropped her handbag on the floor and rushed out. It’s already late in the evening,where is she heading to?
