Daisy and Kendra chattered happily till evening. Daisy didn’t bother to check around,she preferred to stay in Odette’s room.
“Can I call you mother? Kendra asked nervously while Daisy smiled before nodding.
“Sure and I will love it if you can say it now.”
“Mother…like mummy. Oh my I can’t wait to tell Kennedy.” Kendra said with excitement but Daisy only arched her brow with a question expression.
“Kennedy? Who’s she? Daisy demanded.
“She’s my sister,though we lived together but she left the mansion few days ago.”
“Why?
“I don’t know.” She shrugged her shoulders, “I’m very sure one day she’d definitely returns.”
“I’m sorry about that. Since Odette has refused to show up,I guess I’ll take my leave now.” Daisy said.
“Please can I come along,I can’t stay here all alone…please mom.” Kendra pleaded as she clasped her hands.
“Oh my! I would’ve loved to take you along but I can’t baby. You know what? What about staying here tonight till she returns?
“Absolutely superb.”
“Okay then.” Daisy muttered and stood up,heading toward the door. “Kendra honey I’ll be back ok?.”
“All right.”
She existed the room and headed toward the room she shared with her late husband. She hesitated before grabbing the doorknob,her heart was beating fast as she panicked before using her magic to open the door.
It was dark as she moved inside and closed the door back. She turn on the light,everything was well arranged,untouched with dust. She glanced up and her eyes came in contact with a frame planted on a wall. It was a picture of her and Richard carrying little Odette in his arm. She strolled toward the frame and caressed with as tears streamed down her face,she kept using both her palm and the back to wiped the tears but what’s the point? The tears never stopped streaming as she burst into tears and kneed on the floor crying profusely.
She kept hallucinating all the memories they’ve shared but it only worsen the situation as she found it hard to stop herself from crying out loud. She stood up,checking everything in the room including the closet and her clothes were instant,sparkling and well arranged.
“I’m sorry love, I never wished for this…I always prayed to spend the rest of my life with you. Right now I’m broken,you’re the one I continue to breathe for,those were the days when we were always together and there there is so much of distance between us now. Hugging me so tight when we were together whispering in my ear that *I love you just the way you are* I thought I was your shadow but you took my hand and said,you’re my better half. I do missed you,my heart is with you. What else will I say…you are the most beautiful that ever happened to me but I never get the chance to say proper good bye. Why? Fate why?” She mumbled and broke down again as she clenched her hands against her gown and cried out bitterly.
Kendra who was cleaning Odette’s room heard her cries and rushed out. She checked every room until she finally found the room and entered.
She met Daisy on the floor with her head down,sniffing. Even in her late fifties she’s still stunning with a perfect body. Kendra rushed to her and squatted down,she embraced her at once and patted her back gentle.
“Please stop crying mom.” Kendra said in a chocked voice. “Please.” She repeated and wiped her tears with her thumb.
“Everything is gonna be all right.” She ensured and helped her back on her feet before escorting her back to Odette’s room.

?Kyle?
Before the doctor arrives Odette has doze off on the couch. I didn’t wake her rather I took her to my room and laid her on the bed before covering her with the duvet.
I couldn’t tell the kind of feeling but I know she’s someone I want to be with. Wait! Am I in love with Odette?
Doctor Stevens cleared his throat which jolt me out of my thought. I glanced over and gesticulated him to do his work. The nurse that accompanied him strolled toward Odette and did the necessary check up.
“She’s okay now, she has to rest and take her drugs.” He mumbled.
“What really happened to her?
“Her immune systems are weak because she just regained consciousness and she’ll be fine.”
“Okay thank you.” I said and they nodded before walking out.
I sat on a single couch while watching over her. It was already late in the night and she hasn’t wake up.
After taking a shower,dressed up but she only changed her position without open up. I walked close to the drawer and grabbed my laptop, I was about to exist the room when she groaned,I turned abruptly. She has opened her eyes with a light smile on his face.
“You’re awake? I said and strolled toward her.
“Yeah,what’s the time by your wristwatch?
“10:58 pm.” I mumbled then I widened in shock,she did speak now or am I hallucinating?
“What happened with that look? She lifted her brow.
“You can talk? I asked. “Oh my gosh! This is absolutely great..really great.”
“How? I don’t understand what’s happening? Seriously kyle I can…” She didn’t finish her Statement as she hugged me at once. “Thank you.” She muttered immediately we disengage from the hug.
“For what? I asked.
“Never mind,I have to go home now.” She said and I contracted my lips into frown.
“Not tonight because I won’t let you. It’s late already,moreover you still have to rest…
“But what….
“Don’t argue Odette, I’ll go and grab you dinner.” I walked out without waiting for her reply.
I returned with her dinner and placed on the bed,she came out of the bathroom and sat down. She was about to pick the spoon when I stopped her.
“Don’t, let me feed you.” I said.
“What…
“Just shut up and eat.”
“Okay but Kyle I’m not a baby.” She pouted her lips in a sxy way.
“You know what?
“Yeah what? I really wanna know.” She pouted again while I grinned.
“You look cute whenever you do that. You’re my baby…
“What are you insinuating kyle?
“Shush it,you always be my baby starting from today.” I blinked severally waiting for her reply.
“Your baby? you’re serious?
“Dead serious,you know what? I’ve never had a girlfriend before so when it comes to confess my love I sucks. Frankly speaking,I found it hard to admitted the feelings but the truth is I…” I stopped when I saw she’s not saying anything rather she dabbed her eyes and rest her jaw in her palm. Her face is expressionless.
“I lo…I was about to say the word I’ve been trying to say but her phone interrupted. I stopped talking and waited.
“Just a moment Kyle,it urgent please.” She mumbled and picked it call. After few minutes,she ended the call and balanced her position.
“I’m listening kyle.” She uttered and ran her hand through her hair.
“Never mind.” I mumbled and stood away from the bed.
“Why? Kyle it’s a free world.” As she stared into my eyes.
“Just want to tell you that,I love you spirit.” She arched her brow. “Hey I’m dead serious about it, you always made my day one of the reason why I like you.” I said and took a deep breathe.
“If you say so,it’s all right. I wasn’t expecting that anyway but I’m glad you do.” She mumbled in a choked voice. “Jeez! I’m starving,I can’t wait to devour the food.” She said and picked the spoon.
“If want anything just call me.”
“It’s okay.” She said without looking up. She munched on her food.
I stole a glimpse before existing the room. Immediately I stepped out,I released the breath I was holding and sighed. Why do I always feel nervous around her? I couldn’t even tell her that I love her. Jeez! This is complicating, what if she doesn’t feel anything for me?
I walked at a leisurely pace heading to another room.

Why am I feeling that kyle kss healed me,after he kssed then I got my voice back. He might be my soulmate but I never for once think that his kss can heal my wounds.
His statements kept ringing in head. It feels like I was expecting something else but what? When he said he likes me,I was disappointed for unknown reason. Before I wanted to run away from him but I can’t do it anymore.
Darlene wanted me to come over to an address, well that would be tomorrow. I missed everyone including Luna. I missed her like cr.azy,I can’t wait to see my mother.

I came out of the bathroom and I met some shop bags on the bed. I walked toward it and poured everything on the bed.
“Kyle bought all of this? I mumbled. I picked the white lace bra and checked the size,exactly my taste and size. He deserves a trophy. I dressed up and squeezed my feet inside the four inches heels.
“Wow! I mumbled when I stared at my reflection in the mirror, the blue jean show up my figure as I worn the pink bandanna around my neck. I packed my hair in a ponytail style and walked out of the room.
Kyle came out of his room,immediately he noticed my presence,he turned abruptly and moved toward me.
“I forgot to tell you,Davis want to discuss something with you. Mind if I drive you to the studio?
“Okay.” I replied feebly. I glanced at the wristwatch and sighed.
We’re drowned in an awkward silence and no one is ready to break it during the ride. The car came to an halt,I was the first to alighted from the car and rushed inside.
I met Davis in his office,I sat before him.
“Good morning Davis.” I greeted with a smile.
“Oh Odette,good morning. How you doing?
“Pretty good. Kyle said you wanted to see me.” I shrugged.
“Yeah, Darlene and the other members said you have be among ’em on their live performance on stage. Since you’re one of their member now so I think it’s a great idea before singing with kyle on the same day.”
“Well I have no problem with that, I’ll return to the mansion today.”
“It sounds good, okay see you around.”
“Yeah bye.” I said and walked out.
I couldn’t find kyle anywhere,I was about to walk out of the company when Drake stopped me.
“You are not allowed to go out without a guard, moreover you’re a celebrity now you shouldn’t board a taxicab when I’m here.” He said jokily.
“Uh…huh?
“I’m always at your service ma’am, my duty is to protect you.” He said. “Please let’s go.” He said and gestured me to hop in the car. I didn’t bother to argue,I hop in and show him the address. He nodded and drove out of the company.
The car came to an halt and we alighted from the car. Everywhere was isolated. I looked around but I couldn’t find Darlene even her car. There were an uncompleted building not far from where we are.
“Are you sure this is where you’re coming? Drake asked but I just nodded.
We walked toward the building while trying to reach Darlene but she’s picking up.
“Maybe she has sent wrong address because this place look like a barren desert to me.” I said then a strong wing swayed my hair.
“This place isn’t safe,let’s go drake.” I ordered and he nodded. We turned back,about to walked toward the car but we were stopped by a voice.
“Going somewhere princess? I heard a husky voice and we turned abruptly. Some guys clad in black dresses came out. They’re well armed. I glanced around then I found out they’re more than ten.
“What’s happening? Drake asked.
“I don’t understand what happening.” I mumbled and moved back frighteningly.
“Whoa! Nice view senorita.” The man in a mask came out holding a gun.
“Immediately I say run you do,I’m gonna deal with them. You have to be safe.” Drake said and looked around.
“What about you? I can’t leave you alone in this mess.” Jeez! This is a set up.
