CHAPTER 17

“Xiuying dinner is ready why are you still sleeping?” Li Chun came out of the kitchen with two plates of noddles in her hand
She dropped it on the table and helped Yue with her milk before going to the bathroom, she sat on the bed and touched Zhou Xiuying’s forehead
“Why do I keep checking her temperature” Li Chun hissed and looked at her neck
“Your battery is full, what’s going on?” She asked
“Please be fine, wake up tommorow it’s getting boring” Li Chun sighed and went back to the dinning
She sat and eat up by herself before going to join Zhou Xiuying on the bed
“Please wake up tomorrow” Li Chun yawned and kssed Zhou Xiuying’s forehead before closing her eyes and driffting into sleep.

Next morning***
Zhou Xiuying slowly opened her eyes the first thing she’s seeing is the ceiling, sitting up she rubbed her eyes feeling slightly different
“Huh?, Li Chun isn’t here where is Li Chun?” She thought and stood up
Li Chun just came to the room with a laptop in her hand, she frozed when she saw Zhou Xiuying awake
“You’re finally awake” Li Chun smiled
“Did anything happened?” Zhou Xiuying asked
“Yes, you slept off right from when we got back from school yesterday you’re just waking up now and I was damn worried” Li Chun replied
“Oh” Zhou Xiuying scratched the back of her neck awkwardly
“I brought this laptop just to check what’s wrong with you, I’m guessing you’re fine, shower up and let’s go to school before we get late” Li Chun said
Zhou Xiuying nodded and went to the bathroom, she showered and changed to her uniform, when she came out she met Li Chun making breakfast
“Here eat up, I’ll go shower too” Li Chun said
Zhou Xiuying nodded and sat at the dinning table, she took her fork and began digging the pancake
Some minutes later Li Chun came out dressed in her uniform, she joined Zhou Xiuying on the dinning and they both began eating
After eating they stepped out of the house, Zhou Xiuying put the house in security mood before they found a cab and went to school together.

Rong High**
Zhou Xiuying and Li Chun got to the parking lot, chatting and walking as they made their way to the entrance
“Xiuying” she heard someone called her name and she turned back to see Xu smiling at her
“Xiuying” he called again when he got to them, Zhou Xiuying stared at him without saying anything
“Hey Li Chun” he waved and she waved back
“Alright have fun with your other friend I’ll be in the classroom” Li Chun waved and left
Xu Feng stared at her and smiled
“So what’s up, I’ve been calling you since yesterday but you never picked, I was worried” he said and wrapped his hands around her shoulders
Zhou Xiuying flinched when he did that, he immediately retreated and looked at her
“What’s wrong?” He asked
“Nothing” she shook her head, not getting what’s wrong either
“I thought we were friends I’ve called you more than ten times yesterday but no reply are you okay?” He asked as they walked their way to the hall way
“Nothing I just unknowingly slept off for too long” she replied
“Right, it’s fine, can you accompany me to the game house after school today?, Just to hang out and have a bit of fun” He asked
“Okay” she replied and he smiled
They both walked pass Dylan who’s standing at the front of his locker room with his friends
“Is that Xu Feng and Zhou Xiuying?” Lan Singtan asked
Dlyan didn’t reply, he kept staring at them taking till they were out of sight
“Maybe they’re friends now” Han Zihao shurgged
“Who cares” Dylan rolled his eyes and took his book from his locker then angrily went to class
“He have been acting weird since yesterday what’s up with him?” Lan Singtan asked and Han Zihao shurgged
The bell rang indicating that everyone should get to class
“Get to class” a teacher said and walked pass Lan Singtan and Han Zihao
“Let’s go” Han Zihao said and Lan Singtan nodded.

After class, Li Chun is own her way to the ladies room when Rong Yi came to block her
“Li Chun” she called
“Yes, do we have a problem?” Li Chun asked
“Not at all,just wanted to talk to you about your cousin, don’t you think she’s a little unusual?” Rong Yi said
Li Chun sighed and rolled her eyes, she made to enter the rest to but Rong Yi held her forearm
“We aren’t done yet Li Chun, at least hear me out” Rong Yi smirked
“Listen I’ll give you three seconds to let go of my arm” Li Chun warned but Rong Yi smirked
“One”
“You serious, you don’t wanna hear my offer?” Rong Yi smirked
“Two”
“Atleast listen to me”
“Thr…
Rong Yi immediately let go of Li Chun’s hand and eyed her
“Good, I guess you didn’t want me to beat some sense into your empty skull, also let this be the last time you’ll ever hold my hand ever again” Li Chun glared at her and turned around to leave
“I know you like Dylan” Rong Yi shouted and Li Chun paused
“I know you’re in love with him and guess what, I can set you two up together only if you decided to tell me the thing about your cousin” Rong Yi smirked
Li Chun remained quiet
“Don’t worry you, you just think about it and when you do” Rong Yi took a marker that she was holding and walked to the wall, she wrote her number there
“Call me” she smiled and made to leave but Li Chun turned to face her
“Wait” Li Chun called, Rong Yi smirked and turned the face her
Li Chun walked closer to her and stopped just right at the front of her
“Keep your boyfriend… Boom splash” she laughed then walked away
Rong Yi gasped and glared at her from behind
“Dmn you!!!” She muttered and stormed back to the classroom where Chu Maha is busy taking secret pictures of Singnan
“Maha, over here” Rong Yi ordered and Chu Maha rushed to her
“Plan A didn’t work, we are moving to plan B” she said and Chu Maha nodded.

Closing Hour**
Zhou Xiuying came out of her locker room after arranging her hair
“Why do I feel so weird lately?” She thought and bit her lips, walking back to class to meet Li Chun
Lost in her own thoughts she bumped into someone who’s none other than Dylan
“Xiuying” he called and she glared hard at him
“You don’t have any right to call me that, call me Zhou Xiuying” she replied and began walking
Dylan followed her with a smirk
“Zhou Xiuying huh?, But I do hear Xu Feng calling you Xiuying why don’t you stop him?” He asked
“That’s because you’re not Xu Feng and you’ll never be Xu Feng, can you stop bringing Xu Feng into this” she eyed him and walked more faster
Dylan increased his pace too, she stopped and looked at him
“What do you want?” She asked
“I want to be your friend” he said
“No” she replied
“No, but Xu Feng is your friend too, why can’t be your friend?” He asked
“Because ion like you” she replied
“But you like Xu Feng?” He asked and she frozed then pointed herself
“I like Xu Feng, when did I say that, I never said that, go away!!” She sneered and looked elsewhere
Dylan licked his lips and nodded
“What can I do to be your friend?” He asked
“Nothing, I can’t be your friend” she replied, frowning deeply
“Then why is Xu Feng your friend?” He asked
She turned to him in anger and slapped his face hard
“Stop bringing Xu Feng into everything got that, j.erk” she spatted
“Oh I get it, you don’t want to be my friend cause I’m a je.rk, what if I change will you be my friend?” He asked holding his cheeks she $lapped
“Jerk or not I’ll never like you, you cheater” she eyed him and left
“Did she,, did she just called me a cheater” Dylan creased his brows and sighed, someone came to rub his shoulders
“Just give up dude, friendship these days are not by force” Lan Singtan said from behind
“Haha, very funny” Dylan pushed him off and left
“I see he’s into her already but Xu Feng is also into her, interesting” Lan Singtan smiled and went his own way too.

Li Chun’s Apartment**
Li Chun walked to the room and met Zhou Xiuying facing the mirror and looking at herself
“Krm krm, what are you doing?” Li Chun cleared her throat and asked from behind
“Li Chun” Zhou Xiuying turned to her
“Do I look good?” She asked
“Look good what do you mean?” Li Chun asked and went to stand by her at the front of the mirror
“Xu Feng asked me to go out with him today and I just wanna know if I look good” she replied
“Xu Feng asked you out, a date?” Li Chun asked
“It’s not a date, it’s just to come to a game with him” Zhou Xiuying shurgged
“Same thing” Li Chun shurgged and arranged Zhou Xiuying’s hair
“You look pretty, will you like a little makeup?” Li Chun asked
“Ofcourse, if it will make me look pretty then” Zhou Xiuying smiled
Li Chun stared at her confusedly before taking her to the vanity table.
After Li Chun is done with the make up, she helped Zhou Xiuying packed her hair into a neat bun
“You look pretty for your date” Li Chun smiled
“It’s not a date!!” Zhou Xiuying snapped and peeped at the window, Xu Feng car is already waiting
“He’s outside” she said
“Then go out and meet him” Li Chun chuckled
Zhou Xiuying nodded and stepped out, Xu Feng is about to call her when she got to his car
“Xu Feng” she knocked on the door
“Xiuying, was about to call you” Xu Feng said putting his phone down
“Hmm” Zhou Xiuying nodded and he opened the door for her to enter
“You look pretty in the make up” he said
“Thanks” she smiled and looked elsewhere wondering why she’s feeling weird
“She’s putting on makeup, is it for me?” Xu Feng thought with a smile before starting the car.
