Days passed and the tour would be over in two days.
Ryan on one hand tried to focus but couldn’t as all he could think of was Diana which began to worry him as it might turn into a serious obsession soon especially with the news he has been hearing all over grade 11 about Diana and Dave who seem to have a serious chemistry.
It really gave Ryan heartaches which he hates as he definitely don’t like Diana.
It could be only her body and pretty face that is making him feel that way and he hated it.
Diana on the other hand began to feel a thing for Dave who is already head over heels for her.
Carl and Delia on the other hand always met at the garden where they would talk about the day happily while concealing their buried unsure feelings.
Mason and Denise had already gotten so close and only the big question was left.
Life in poshville high goes on….

Diana Pov
I licked from my ice cream cone as I and Ryan sat on one of the seats at the main basketball court.
I had seen all parts of the school since last week so Ryan suggested that we come here to relax.
“How have you been?” Ryan finally asked and I glanced at him while he kept tossing a coin.
“Pretty good” I replied and faced my ice cream.
Silence lingered between us for long as Ryan didn’t stop tossing the coin.
“How about we talk about ourselves” I suggested and he held my gaze for a while before looking away.
“Am Ryan Kai” He started examining the coin now.
“Second and last child of my family” He added.
“You have an elder?” I asked and he nodded.
“She is married to the Senate advisor first son, Mr. Paul Peyton… Carl’s brother. Nathaniel Cooper is my blood cousin from my Mother side” He filled in.
Wow!
” You? “He asked facing me and I swallowed the crispy cone I was munching.
“Diana Arlo, aged 17, first child and daughter. I have an adorable little sister as we are the only children of my so not rich parents. Am totally happy with my home” I said and he smiled then reached out to tuck loose hair behind my ear while staring into my eyes.
“You are really pretty” Ryan whispered leaning in closely and I gulped.
“Th.. Thanks” I stuttered.
I noticed him drag his gaze to my lips giving me the chills.
“Ryan… Please stop” I whispered and he bent placing his hot lips on my neck making my bIood run cold.
I felt paralyzed.
I couldn’t move.
What is he doing to me!?
I gulped placing my palms on his chest and gently pushed him away.
“Am.. am sorry” I apologized.
“You don’t need to apologise Diana. I should be the one saying sorry. Am really crazy” He said and rushed out.
” Ryan! Ryan! “I called but he never turned back.

The rest of the day was oddly weird.
After music class, Dave offered to walk me to my dorm and I accepted.
“I was wondering if you would be chanced tomorrow after classes”Dave spoke up.
” No.. Have cheer practice”I replied.
” Wednesday? “He asked.
” Yeah. The last two classes after recess are unattendable to me so I will be chanced after classes”I notified.
” Why asking? “I quried and he sighed.
” I would like us to spend the rest of the day together” Dave proposed.
Oh!
” Do you agree? “He asked and I smiled.
” Sure”.
” Thank you so much Diana” He appreciated.

Upon my arrival, the dorm was still empty.
I let out a sigh and sat on my bed.
I shouldn’t be expecting those girls anytime soon, especially Delia.
My thoughts wandered back to what almost took place between I and Ryan back at the court.
Urgh!
I can’t believe Ryan almost kssed me and I turned him down.
I turned down the kiss of the cutest boy in my life and this school.
? It’s for your own good ?. My subconscious spoke up.
“How?” I muttered then realized Denise words.
?….. hot Ryan is her closest friend. So if you ever come across him, do well to avoid him at all cost, except you wanna get into Corriene’s bad book….
Urgh!
I am definitely on the right track.
I did the right thing.
I can’t risk my cheerleading for a crush. Besides, I feel a stronger connection with Dave.
I smiled upon remembering our upcoming date.
I really need to find a perfect outfit.

Diana Pov
Yesterday had come and gone, the final day of my tour.
Ryan didn’t make it due to a call he had gotten from the principal.
My cheer practice went on really well.
The day for my supposed date has finally arrived.
After a long rest, I began to prepare in wait for 4:20pm when Dave would come get me outside the building.
“Mmm… You look hot!” Denise gleed and I rolled my eyeballs.
I pulled on a black sneaker to compliment my outfit of a black crop top and jeans then fixed my hair.
“You should hurry up. It’s 4:20 already” Denise notified.
“Done!” I exhaled.
” Bye bae! “I waved and hurried out..
I sighted Dave few feets away from the entrance wearing a black moderate ragged jean, white round neck shirt and a black jacket.
The black can he wore complimented his dressing so well.
“Dave..” I called and he turned to see me and pulled on a smile.
“You look good” He complimented and I smiled.
“You too” I grinned.
“Shall we?” He offered me his right hand which I took.
” Sure.. ”

” Where do we go first?” Dave asked and I shrugged.
“The game hall. I would love to play a game” I replied and he smiled gently squeezing my hand.
” Me too.. and with you” He said making my breath hitch.

Ryan Pov
While gazing out through the closed window, I heard the door open and close.
“You are back earlier than expected Carl” I spoke up and turned to see Corriene.
” Corriene? “I called surprised and she smiled dropping the white snack paper bag she brought in with her then headed for where I stood.
“Yes.. me Ryan” She cooed and hugged me then pulled off.
“I wanted to spend time with you today. What is going on Ryan? You look weak.. “She asked worriedly as she touched my hair.
” Am fine Corriene”I assured.
“Sure?” She asked and I nodded.
“Com’on. I bought us some burgers” Corriene notified leading me to my bed and we both sat on it after collecting the bag from the table and she opened it.
I took my burger and she took hers.
Corriene knows me so well that she got me my favorite snack.
I stared at her as she ate quietly before I bit from mine.
“Why did the principal call you?”She quried and I took my time to swallow.
” She wants to make me the cover of the school billboard, magazine and books”I replied and she gasped.
” For reals!? “She squealed.
“Yeah. She said am the perfect fit and only need a girl to be by my side” I replied.
” Am definitely that girl. My grades are good”Corriene said and carried on with munching.

I and Dave had a lot of fun till nightfall when we headed to the school orchard.
We both laid on the grass gazing up at the dark night sky which had few twinkling stars alover it and they shone brightly.
“Thanks alot Dave. You really made me feel good” I appreciated and he adjusted turning my face to his.
“No. You made me feel good Diana” He muttered and planted a light peck on my forehead.
I cleared my throat not liking the feeling that was already beginning to grow in me.
“We have got to go now” I suggested and he smiled at me.
“Sure..”.

Diana Pov
History is the subject I had now which I share with Dave who always sit next to me.
Miss. Humpkin hasn’t messed with me since that day which is a really great thing.
Maybe it’s a curse or something.. buh history classes are waaaay too boring.
Urgh !
But Dave made it fun by writing notes to me while I reply back, talking about so many random stuffs
He never stopped complimenting my look and how my uniform suited me pretty well.
Dave really had plans on making me a blushing mess in class.
Finally, the long awaited time arrived and Miss. Humpkin found her way out of the class
“I guess it’s to physics for you” Dave said as we packed our books.
” Yeah. I actually do have some practicals today and might close late”I notified and he nodded.
” I will walk you to the lab” He offered and I smiled.
“Thanks Dave” I appreciated.
I got my needed texts and Dave walked me to the physics lab building.
Since I began this school, I really haven’t entered the lab building.
“I guess it’s bye for now” Dave said as we stopped at the entrance.
“Yeah. Thank you” I smiled.
He took hold of my right hand and pulled me close to him encasing me in a warm hug which left me frozen for a while.
We soon disengaged and he waved at me before leaving.
Wow..
I placed my palm on my chest harbouring my racing heart.
I felt warm inside of me.
Oh Dave
I sighed shaking my head and walked into the building.
The physics lab building stood right between the chemistry and Biology lab.
Physics lab and the other labs were bungalows and had six classes each.
Two classes for each senior grade.
I walked down the hallway searching for grade 11 A which I found soon enough at the second class by my left hand side.
I pushed the closed door open and walked in.
WOW!
I guess I came pretty early.
No one was present.
I sat down on a high stool at the fourth counter and glanced around the lab in wait for others.
The door opened and I looked up to see… Ryan!.
