The air had little tension in it due to the examination that would begin in few minutes.
An examination that would promote or repeat students depending on how prepared they are.
Diana was among the few who knew they’d make it , her friends inclusively.
During the tension a huge problem came up.
A math question slip was missing!
In less than an hour,the news had gone round like wild fire as the students talked about it in hushed tones.

“Who could be so foolish to steal the script?” Abigail scoffed.
“They would definitely get the student.” Delia added.
“Why do you think it’s a student? Who knows,the error might be from the teacher.” I said and they stared at me like I was an idiot.
“What?” I scoffed.
“Mrs Davis isn’t that careless.” Denise defended and I sighed.
“That’s none of my business. Let the culprit be caught so we’ll get this exam done.” I groaned and they all agreed.
Abigail and I left Delia and Denise then headed for our class building.
We both got in and noticed how packed the locker hall was and Abigail called on a girl asking what was going on.
“The school management turned off Grade 11 security system so everyone’s locker would be searched.” She replied and walked off.
I adjusted my weight as I watched students running around.
“Do you think it would be found?” Abigail asked and I shrugged.
“Who own locker 1048?” A teacher voice asked and I felt my blood run cold.
“That’s your locker.” Abigail gasped.
Abigail and I hurried to my locker as the students gave way and I saw a male teacher and Mrs Davis before my locker holding a script!
A script!
“Are you the owner of this locker?” Mrs Davis asked and I nodded.
“We found the missing script in your possession.” The man notified and I scoffed.
“There must be a mistake somewhere. I have no idea how that got into my locker.” I defended and murmurs began.
“You have to come with me.” The man said and I shook my head as my eyes grew hot.
“I didn’t know about the script. You have to believe me.” I pleaded but it was as furtile as fetching water in a basket.

The examination was postponed to the next day due to the case on ground as Diana was led before the school court.
Every evidence pointed to Diana as the culprit while none of her pleas were granted an audience.
An urgent meeting with the students of the school was made where Diana verdict would be passed out.

I sat down in a lonely class as per a teacher instruction as tears flooded my eyes.
Why!?
Why do I always get the bad share of life?
Despite my pitiful state, someone still framed me for malpractice.
How on earth can I walk to steal an exam script?
How does that even make sense?

“How is that even possible?” I asked her friends who had weary looks.
“We don’t know Ryan. We only know that it was found in her locker which is totally weird cause Diana is not capable of doing that.” Denise replied.
I ran my fingers through my hair and bit my lower lip.
How did this happen?

I sat at the front row of the school auditorium to get a nice view as a low key smrink crept up my lips as Diana walked up the stage led by teachers making up the court.
Murmurs began among the students as some retorted saying she is not capable of malpractice.
Who cares?
When money speaks people must always listen attentively.
*Flashback*
I stood before the Principal table with her back against me as usual.
“You know I can’t just expel Miss Arlo. There is no solid evidence that she actually stole that script. After all,she got involved in an accident cause of you and was bedridden for days.” The Principal said and I scoffed.
“I can see you really don’t like how am being so gentle with you. I can bring down this entire school you have worked so hard to raise in matter of minutes so don’t dare me Mary.” I growled and silence followed.
*Flashback ends*
She obviously got the message and I can’t wait to see Diana leave this school.
A teacher from the school jury walked up before us as silence descended on the hall.
“Today,a great news went round this reputable school. Our very own student and Head Girl got engaged in a serious offence of malpractice. She stole a maths script.” The female teacher began and murmurs aroused in the hall.
“Ma’am..” We heard a call as everyone turned to see a student stand up admist the sea of students.
“It is totally impossible for Diana to steal that script. After all,she was bedridden and obviously can’t walk properly so how can it be possible for her to go out and steal that script?” The male student asked and the noise in the hall grew.
I scoffed letting a smrink spread on my lips.
No matter what they say or do, Diana is getting expelled.
“Isn’t it obvious? Maybe she placed herself in that state so no one would suspect her.” A female student audibly fired and the noise in the hall doubled as some took sides with Diana while others jeered at her.
It took time to notice when Ryan got on stage and stood before the mic but never uttered a word.

In less than a minute, the students noticed him and silence followed in different parts of the hall till it was even.
He let out a sigh and lowered his gaze before glancing through the crowd.
“It could be true that the script was found in her locker. It could be true she stole it herself but how? We all know what happened to her days back so how on earth would you all be so foolish and dumb to think she actually stole it?. Imagine she got framed by a foe…”
My heart had a little cut at that statement.
“… Imagine there is a person h*ll bent on getting rid of her. Imagine the person is someone we least expected? Despite that, we all know she is not capable of this evil act. The Diana Arlo I know is a very smart girl and totally innocent so why would you still believe she stole the script? One thing is for sure the truth would never be hidden forever.” Ryan concluded and walked to where Diana stood.
Right before everyone,he took out his face towel and wiped her tears then hugged her obviously giving her assurance.
I fisted my hands where I sat and gritted my teeth.
Dmn her!
Admist all the events, a teacher walked up stage and took her position before the mic.
“Good morning students.” She greeted and got response.
“As you all know, I am Mrs Richard. I am Mrs Richard to you all, the teacher in the Admin office but apart from that I am Mrs Mary Kyra Richard, your Principal.” She announced and heavy silence followed.
That was when I took my time to scan her.
The black suit and bun hairstyle.

I had the chills at that revelation.
My Aunt is the Principal!
“You may all be wondering how possible it is. I purposely hid the Principal identity for years and came among the students and teachers knowing a day like this would come. Miss Arlo here is my goddaughter incase you do not know. I had her admitted here but am beginning to have my regrets.”
“With me here are ten letters and more. Expulsion letters and others.” Principal Mary said and I felt my heart cut.
“Hopefully, I have few students who would come up right now. I purposely cancelled the examination today because I know alot of things are bound to happen today. The supposed students should please step forward.” Principal Mary addressed and I let out a weary sigh.

As I sat unsure of what was happening and the recent revelation,some students walked up to the stage.
The boy and girl I asked to take the script to Diana’s locker and Diana’s bases during cheerleading I asked to throw her off purposely.
I felt my heart cut as what was about to happen dawned on me.
“Miss Corriene Conor, please step forward with your friends.” I heard the order and I almost passed out.
