“Who took the gold brooch in my room!? That painting is worth over millions of dollars,” the mansion thundered with the voice of the angry Mr Tony. All the assembled servants were shaking like leaves from fear. Everyone present was scared of facing the wrath of the master.
The only people who didn’t look scared were Mariana and her mother. Mr Tony paced up and down with anger as no one refused to answer. A servant ran into the room and bowed down to Tony saying,“Sir we have searched the room over and over but we still can’t find the brooch.”
Tony looked livid as he raised the servant with the collar of his shirt hereby choking the servant. Gasps of shock and fear could be heard from the room as the servants start gasping for air. Ivy turned completely pale at the sight of her father’s anger.
The servant would have died if Mariana didn’t walk forward and try to release her father’s stronghold on the him.“Dad, stop choking him. You will kill him. I know who took the brooch,” she said. Tony released the servant on hearing what Mariana said. He turned to look at Mariana.
“Who took the brooch?.”
Mariana looked reluctant to talk before she finally said,“Dad it was… It was Ivy.” The room turned silent after she said this. “I was going to mum’s room when I saw Ivy entering your room and coming out with the brooch,” she continues her explanation.
“Mariana what nonsense are you talking about? Just because your sister is a Klepto doesn’t mean that you can falsely accuse her,” Mariana’s mom made a show of defending Ivy. But even the dumb could hear that she’s solidifying Mariana’s explanation.
She’s discreetly trying to tell them that since Ivy is a Klepto, she’s capable of stealing anything. Tony walked towards Ivy’s direction completely believing Mariana. “Where is the brooch? Just return the brooch and I’ll forget you ever did this,” he asked Ivy.
“Dad, I don’t know what you are talking about. I don’t have the brooch with me,” Ivy replied shaking her head negatively. “Don’t make me hit you! Tell me where the brooch is right now!,” Tony shouted. Ivy kept on denying making Tony annoyed. Mariana and her mom smiled at each other as he raised his hand to $lap her.
“Sir! We found the brooch!,” a servant shouted running into the room with the brooch stopping the $lap Ivy was about to receive. “It was in your safe all along.” The smile on Mariana and her mom’s face froze as they wondered how…
Tony collected the brooch, dismissed the staff and scolded Mariana severely for falsely accusing Ivy making her glare at Ivy. Ivy smirked and whispered,“Bch” to her. Mariana couldn’t do anything but hold her anger in as she endured her father’s harsh tone.

Ivy?
I walked into my room and saw Mrs Helen waiting for me. “How did it go?,” she asked immediately she saw me. I hugged her and replied,“What would I have done without you?”
**Flashback**
I was still in my room staring dazedly at the brooch when Mrs Helen walked in. She looked at the brooch and looked at me. “Ivy did you take your father’s brooch… You have to return now before anyone else sees it unless you will be in trouble,”
“Mom, don’t use the word TAKE. I stole his brooch. I’m a thief. I only wanted to talk to him about how early they set the wedding. Why does he want to marry me off in just one week time?,” I answered.
Mrs Helen shook her head and said,“There is no time for sentimental talk right now. We’ll talk about the wedding later but right now you need to return this brooch before your father comes home.”
“I’m scared. What if someone catches me when I’m returning the brooch. Then I’ll be in deep trouble,” I answered.
“You know what, just give me the brooch. I’ll do it myself,” she said and collected the brooch before leaving the room. I stared at her departing figure. I’ll be getting married soon and I can’t possibly leave this house with Mrs Helen.
So who will be helping me cover up? I feel so ashamed of myself for always doing this shameful act. Why can’t I just be normal like other people…
**End of flashback**
“You really need to start seeing your therapist Ivy. I can’t be there for you everytime. You escaped this but what if you don’t have the same luck next time. You know how closely Marie and her mom are waiting for your downfall,” Mrs Helen said cutting through my thoughts.
“I know mom. It’s just that meeting the therapist means telling another person about my shameful behavior,” I sighed…
“You just have to try honey,”…

Mariana ?
I $lapped the maid twice aggressively. She knelt down pleading with fear. I was about to slap again when mom held my hand. “Mom, leave me and let me teach this wretch a lesson for giving me false information,” I struggled with mom trying to get hold of the maid.
Mom ordered the maid to leave the room and the fool ran out. “Mariana, don’t waste your energy on little things like this. It’s not worth it,” Mom said.
I turned to look at mom,“Mom, the wedding is in one week time. Just one week and you are telling me to calm down. I can’t let that bch have what’s supposed to be mine.”
Mom smiled and answered,“One week is enough time to bring her down…” Then she said something quietly but I didn’t hear her. Neither do I care to ask.
[note: Mariana’s mom said,“I have to send that little bch to where her dead mother is if she keeps getting in my way.]

Brian ?
I stared at the bunch of files in front of me. I can’t concentrate. I’ve been thinking about that feisty kitten since I came to work. Earlier, my employee had to tell me I was reading my file upside down. Imagine how embarrassed I was.
I checked the text mom sent to earlier today. It says I shouldn’t forget to go to the designer’s company for the finishing touches of my wedding suit. That sounds weird. I’ll be getting married in just one week.
Now that I think of it, what made me agree to this marriage. I’m not a type to stay committed to just one lady.
My secretary came in making me lose my focus. I looked at the $lutty dress she’s wearing. Her chest are almost spilling out of the dress and the dress is too short to showing me the colour of pnty she’s wearing. I looked down at my thing which was now standing upright.
“Sir, I saw how stressed you looked. Let me relieve you,” she said bending down now and taking in my thing all the way. All of the thoughts disturbing me earlier gradually slipping out of my mind as I lost myself in the pleasure.
