*Three Days Later*

Mariana looked around the passage cautiously before entering into a room. A maid was already in the dusty room looking so anxious. As soon as she saw Mariana, she heaved a sigh of relief and handed over a small transparent bottle filled with blue liquid.
Mariana shook the bottle and asked,“Is this the stuff?” The maid nodded. “How does it work?,” she asked again. The maid looked around before replying quietly.
“You just have to add small quantity of this liquid to her food or her drink. It will give her severe stomach pain for days that she won’t be able to move at all.”
Mariana smirked wickedly and asked again,“ Won’t it give the food or drink another taste?” The maid shook her head negatively,“No miss, it’s tasteless and it’s doesn’t change the color of whatever you are adding it to. Also It won’t kill if you used as I instructed.”
The maid then brought another bottle and said,“ Young miss, I brought the antidote in case anything goes wrong.” She tried to give the antidote to Mariana.
“No, keep the antidote. I don’t need it. You can leave now,” Mariana replied and dismissed the maid before looking at the bottle happily. Then she set to work…

Soon Mariana was seen carrying a tray containing two glasses of banana flavored drink knowing it’s Ivy’s favorite. Do you want to know a secret?
Mariana didn’t follow the maid’s instruction. She emptied the entire bottle of the poison into the drink she wants to give Ivy.

Ivy?
I was sitting down at the center of the garden reading a romantic novel on my phone when Marie came to me. Immediately, I noticed her I ignored her thinking she’s about to try to annoy me once again. And I’m seriously not in the mood right now
But to my greatest surprise, she dropped a tray of juice on the table. How did she know I was thirsty? I looked at the juice and realized it’s my favorite fruit flavor. Okay, I’m confused. What’s the occasion cause Marie doesn’t do something good without a reason? I looked at her eyeing her suspiciously.
“Marie, what is this juice for? What are you planning this time around?,” I asked.
She smiled and sat next to me,“Why do you always seem to think I have a bad motive? I just want to make up for my past mistake and apologise for being mean to you. Since you will be getting married soon and I don’t want us to depart with a grudge between us.”
I rolled my eyes at her long speech. What does she take me for? “Okay, I’ve heard you,” I replied and she said,“Yayy, let celebrate our new friendship with this juice .” Does she think I’m a fool?
She immediately picked the juice on the right side and gave me the one on the left side. Just as she was about to start drinking, I stopped her,“Marie this juice won’t taste good without cookies to support them. Would you please get the chocolate cookies in the kitchen?”
She forced a smile and we both dropped our glasses of juice back to it’s position. She smiled again, looked at the juice and left. As soon as she left, I looked at the drink and smiled as an idea clicked in my head. I chuckled mischievously.

I smiled to myself as I took the plate of cookies back to the garden. Ivy thinks she’s smart but I’m smarter than her. I know she sent me to get the cookies because she’s still suspicious about the juice.
I know she would have exchanged the juice by now because I’ve seen similar things happen on tv before. Ivy is so dumb. As I dropped the plate of cookies, I studied her expression. She’s smiling more happily and freely than when I left the garden which is suspicious. Now I know she exchanged the juice.
Just as she was about to take hers, I stopped her,“Ivy I know you are suspicious of your juice. To prove that I didn’t poison it or try anything funny. You can drink mine and I’ll drink yours.” She nodded and took the juice in front of me while I took hers. We both finished it at the same time. I even licked my mouth and smiled discreetly. Ivy is such a fool.
She still ended up drinking the poisoned one even though she exchanged it. Suddenly, she began to laugh. I looked at her wondering if that’s the side effects of the poison.
“I know what you were thinking Marie. I never exchanged the juice when you left. I had a feeling you were going to think I exchanged so I just left them the way you gave me earlier. This proved that you indeed put something in the juice,” Ivy dropped the bombshell and I looked at her shocked.
Immediately, I stood up, dipped my hand into my throat trying to vomit what I’ve just drank. But no matter how much I gagged, the stupid juice refuse to come up. Ivy stood up and gave me a haughty smile and said,“If you will excuse me. I have to go check out my wedding dress.” Then she turned around and left.
I looked at her hatefully and started feeling slight pain in my stomach. Gosh! I need to find that maid and get the antidote.
I can’t believe I fell for my own trap. I’ll deal with that bch later. With that thought and a slightly aching stomach, I hurried towards the mansion…

I walked into the designer company wearily. I forgot to go that day due to… Y’all know why
I was pretty shocked to find miss feisty kitten there. I looked at my disheveled appearance and felt slightly guilty remembering the hot steamy sx I’ve been having in my office and the one I just had before coming over right now.
Hey, you can’t blame me cause the secretary seems to be getting more seductive everyday. And I can’t resist tasting her everyday.
But instantly I shook the thoughts away. I smiled at her and greeted her. She didn’t even replied, just scrutinized my appearance and narrowed her eyes. “Why does it seem like someone just had lots of fun?”
Her words making my heart nearly leap out of my chest in fear. God, why am I even scared of her finding out? I didn’t even get the chance to reply when she continued,“Whatever…I don’t care anyway.”
I rolled my eyes inwardly. ‘If you don’t care, why ask?’, I thought as looked at her. A lady came out and said,“Miss come to the room and try your gown to see if it fits.”
Ivy nodded and was about to follow her when I stopped them by holding her hand. She turned to look at me.
“Ivy, I can come in with you if you want. Who knows, your hand may not be able to reach the zipper of the gown? I can be of great help,” I added a flirty smile to make my statement more charming. The attendant blushed while Ivy glared at me.
“Sir, save that for the wedding night,” the attendant said timidly blushing before pulling Ivy to go in with her. Ivy stopped before they could enter and came back to where I was standing.
I smirked thinking I’ve already charmed the feisty kitten. But instead of pulling me into the dressing room with her like I thought, she stepped on my shoe very hard and ran into the room. I immediately held my leg in pain. Thank God she was wearing flats and not high heels or else my legs were gone. But still it hurts alot.
I was still holding my leg in pain when my own designer came out. As we were leaving the waiting area, I turned to look at the room my feisty kitten just entered. I smiled… She’s my feisty kitten ??

I laid down on my bed rolling in pain as I held my stomach. What the fk is making those guards take so much time in bringing that maid here. As my stomach grumbled again, I shivered in fear.
I feel like I’m gonna die. Why didn’t I just follow that stupid maid instructions instead of emptying all the poison into the juice.
“Miss, the maid has already gone home. She has finished with her duties for today,”the guards said as they came into my room. “Then go and find her. You have to bring her back now immediately,” I tried to shout but it only came out quietly due to the pain I’m feeling.
They bowed and left the room. “I heard you were feeling sick Marie. Why would you fall sick all of a sudden,” someone said coming into the room.
Oh no! It’s mother. What do I tell her now? I can’t possibly tell her that bch outsmarted me.
