Episode Twenty-Five

Ivy looked around wondering why everyone is looking at her weirdly. Zara came over and dragged her to one part of the room. She then parted Ivy’s hair to one side and took a picture of the exposed part. When Ivy saw the picture, she gasped. The picture was showing red and clear hi¢keys on her neck.
The reason why she didn’t notice it before was because she let her hair down and it completely covered the hi¢keys. She blushed knowing who had left these marks on her neck last night. He wouldn’t let her sleep until it was almost morning.
Zara shook her gently and said,“Ivy this isn’t the time to blush and smile while reminiscing on your sx life. How are you going to fix this?” She pointed at the people looking at them curiously. Loli is smirking and probably saying nonsense over there.
Ivy frowned and turned to look at Zara. “See I don’t care about whatever they think. It’s my husband mark and they don’t have the right to say shit about it,” Ivy replied.
“They can think and say whatever they want about me. I don’t give a damn. I hope seeing this will make all those college guys back off. The Mark says I’m taken,” Ivy continued.
People, I’m shaking my head at how wrong Ivy is. Sorry babe, the suitors will keep on coming.
“Woah… Cousin in-law do you have any idea of how hot and sexy you look now?,” Zara said and Ivy laughed making everyone focus much more on them unlike before.
They walked back to join the class just in time to hear Loli saying,“ I’m really saying the truth. She’s a wealthy old man mistress. I even have proof if you want to know.” Ivy and Zara looked at themselves.
What proof does she have? She’s only saying this to make her story more believable to people. Ivy smirked and walked forward,“ Tell me Loli, what proof do you have?”
Loli looked a little bit shocked because she wasn’t expecting anyone to ask for proof. She was only telling a lie about the proof. Everyone turned to look at Loli who was frantically racking her brain for a way out.
“Those hickeys… It’s the proof,” people averted their gaze from Loli and turned to look at Ivy again. The guys had that heartbroken looks again. Ivy smiled,“ This isn’t proof. There’s no rule that I can’t have a boyfriend…” “Or a…” Zara tried to say but Ivy pinched her.
She knows Zara wants to say husband. “So you have to show us solid proof that I’m indeed a mistress as you claim,” Ivy continued. Loli panicked a little now sweaty,“ Then what about the Platinum card?” “ What platinum card!?,” the class asked excited for gossip.
Loli told everyone the fake story she formed. Everyone seemed to believe her cause why else will a college student be with a platinum card? Ivy smirked and looked at Loli.
“Do you really want me to tell them the truth Loli?,” Ivy said. Loli swallowed nervously. The class were already confused as to who was telling them the truth.
Just then, the trainer came in. She only left the class for a minute and when she came back, she was shocked to find the class in disarray.
“Is there something interesting going on there? Why aren’t you all practicing your dance steps?,” the trainer said and the crowd immediately dispersed.
Loli made a fk-you sign to Ivy. Ivy smirked and whispered to her,“ bch fk you too.” She then walked away leaving Loli who gritted her teeth angrily.
“Wench the day you are going to pay for all these will surely come,” Loli said and left the dance class angrily. She isn’t even supposed to be in that dance class. She only went there because Liam.
Ivy watched Loli go while soliloquizing to herself,“ I’ll wait for that day bch. Ain’t taking any sht from you no more.”

Loli?
I walked to tennis court angrily and looked around. When I saw my friends staying one place while chatting and laughing happily, I rolled my eyes angrily. They are never there when I need them.
I walked towards them and they finally noticed me and the angry look on my face. “Babe…” Mia tried to say. “Don’t call me babe. Whenever I need you guys, you are never there?”
“Is it that bch again?,” Jessica asked She’s never really talks alot. I’m surprised she bothered to talk today. Let me introduce ourselves. You all already know me. The names of my friends are Mia, Jessica, Nikki and Raine.
I nodded and Nikki said,“ Don’t worry we already have a great plan for her tommorow. We are all having sports tomorrow. And I heard the college dance crew will also perform too. All you have to do is report back to us if the bch will be part of the representatives at the events tomorrow then we will show her who the boss is in this college.”
I smiled. “ I can’t believe you really let that bch spoil your mood like this babe. I’ve never forgotten what she did to us at the shopping mall. She’s got to pay for that,” Raine said handing over a glass of juice to me. I sipped the juice as I thought of something.
Why was Ivy even with a platinum card? My dad can’t even afford one so I don’t dare dream of having one. But how come that bitch has one? Is she really an old man’s mistress? Why is Zara always with her?
“Oooh!!! They are finally here,” I heard my friends and the other girls in the court cheer loudly. Four hot looking guys have just come in. They are actually the lead in playing tennis. They are the reason why most girls including my friends signed up for tennis?
I looked at the one leading the guys. It’s Brad Faye. He’s currently blowing kisses at his fan girls. I looked at Raine. I know she has a deep crush on Brian. She’s staring at him with a dreamy look in her eyes.
I rolled my eyes and thought why can’t Liam be like one of them? He always does the opposite of other guys. Most of his friends are tennis players but he chose to be in dance class.
I stood up to go to the changing room and change into my sport clothes when I suddenly thought of something. I turned around and looked at Brad who’s playing beautifully. I saw him that other day at the cafeteria with Zara… And Ivy…
He was smiling sweetly at Ivy. I smirked and looked at Brian before looking at Raine. I wonder what Raine would think if I told her about this. Raine is the most hot-tempered one among all my friends.
I walked towards the changing room smiling at myself,“ Ivy… You bch I promised to make you pay. And that’s what I’ll do.”

Liam?
I looked towards the direction Ivy and Zara are staying. They were both laughing happily.
Ivy’s laugh tugged at my heart painfully. I stared at her neck and glared at the hickeys. I can’t see them well cause I’m a little faraway from where they are standing.
Does she have a boyfriend? The thought of her having a boyfriend made my heart squeeze painfully. I’ve never even had a chance and someone has snatched her away.
Who’s the guy? Does he also attend our college? I’m curious to know who the lucky guy is. They might have just started dating so perhaps I might still have a chance. Just then I saw Ivy leave. Zara stood there and brought out her phone.
Should I just ask her? Maybe she can help me out. Just like before as I took few steps towards her, another unfamiliar guy already stepped in front of her. I moved closer hoping to hear what they are saying.
I even put on my headphone but didn’t play any music so that it won’t look like I’m eavesdropping. I heard the guy asked,“Hi Zara. I just wanted to ask you something. Does Ivy really have a boyfriend?”
Zara looked at the guy and shook her head indicating ‘NO’. The guy left happily. I stood there relieved. She doesn’t have a boyfriend so I still have a chance… But what about the hickeys? Well it doesn’t matter as long as she doesn’t have a boyfriend.
I turned and left. Thinking of how I could tell Ivy how I feel when we have never even interacted with each other for long before.

Ivy?
“Who was that?,” I asked Zara as soon as I came back from the restroom. I saw a guy leaving her side just now.
“Probably one of your suitors. He wanted to know if you really have a boyfriend,” Zara said cheekily.
“What did you say? Did you tell him yes,” I asked.
“No, why should I? Technically cousin is your husband not boyfriend. So why should I say otherwise?,” she said and I shook my head.
“You should have just said yes. It may dissuade them from coming,” I answered touching my necklace to feel if my wedding ring is still on it.
I sighed in relief when I felt the ring. I hurriedly hid the necklace in my shirt again.
“ Maybe next time… I’ll tell them next time. But cousin in-law, we have to get to the cafeteria right now or Brad will finish all the food he ordered for us,” Zara said pulling me towards the cafeteria.
I laughed,“ You really need to learn how to call me Ivy. You can’t keep on calling me cousin in-law. I’m trying to keep a low profile here.” “Whatever,” she replied and I laughed again.

Later in the night when I laid on my bed to sleep. I wondered what Brian is doing right now. The bed feels cold and empty without him. When I couldn’t sleep and I couldn’t bear it anymore, I picked up my phone to call him.
Just then he called me. It’s a video call. I smiled and sat up before switching on the light. Then I picked the call.
?Hey kitty, how are you doing? I missed you- he said immediately I picked up. He then blew me a kss.
I blushed seeing that’s he’s in bed also. His upper body part is nked and I wondered if his lower body part is also like that too. My face turned red with embarrassment at what I’m thinking. I dare not say it out loud.
?Hmm, I know that look kitty. Your face is all red. You are thinking of something naughty right now- he said smirking and I shook my head.
?No, I’m not as shameless as you hubby.- I answered trying to deny it and he chuckled.
?I love my nickname… Maybe I should call you something else rather than kitty like lollipop, honey… Nah I’ll rather stick to kitty. It suits you alot.
I smiled and he went on telling me about everything that happened to him today. How much he missed me? How he can’t wait to see me? We kept on talking until he shifted his phone and I noticed barely visible marks on his chest… It’s like purple coloured… Are those bruises marks?
?Hubby, what happened to your chest? Did you get into a fight with someone?- I asked curiously. He looked down at his chest and smiled.
?Yes, I got into a fight yesterday- he said. I wondered how come I didn’t know about the marks or notice them.
?I got into a fight. And I was winning the battle on the bed until a feisty kitten got tired and started biting me. I had no choice but to leave the kitten. I was able to escape with these bite marks- he continued.
I looked at him confused. Then the words finally sunk in my brain. ‘Feisty kitten’, ‘battle on bed’. I glared at him and he laughed.
? You are so shameless. I don’t believe I left those marks on you- I said blushing. I hope my skin colour doesn’t turn to permanent red colour with all this blushing.
We then talked about other things. When I yawned, he said goodbye and cut the call. Immediately the call ended and my head hit the pillow, I slept off.

The following day at college, Ivy seem more cheerful knowing her hubby is coming home today. Since it’s weekend, the college doesn’t have any lectures only recreational activities.
Ivy got to the class with Zara just in time to hear the trainer calling the names of the people who will be representing the class for the dance performance.

They were assigned to dance in pair. As usual, Liam and Ivy. Ivy felt excited and nervous to be able to perform for the first time. No one noticed the malicious smile on Loli’s face as she left.
**FAST FORWARD**
Later on, it was almost time for the dance crew to perform when suddenly a girl stopped Ivy. “ Ivy, Miss Jane asked me to inform you to get the dance costume in the storage room,” the girl said.
Ivy looked at the unfamiliar girl and looked at the others who are preparing. Why does she have to get the dance costume now? Nevertheless, she still left and went to the storage room. The storage room is a small room filled cartons probably of stuffs they don’t need.
As Ivy walked in, she suddenly stopped feeling uneasy. Why didn’t Mrs Emily send someone else that knows the school far better than her? As she turned back to leave, the door suddenly shut. She heard the click of the door locking and panicked.
She’s claustrophobic- scared of enclosed places… She walked to the door and knocked while shouting for help. She stopped after a while and sat down in the dark room breathing hard and fast. “I can’t breathe…” she murmured slowly as her eyes falter.

Meanwhile outside, Loli and her friends stared at the door. “ I can’t wait to see what will happen when no one finds this bch.
Will the dance get cancelled or I’ll be chosen to pair up with Liam”, Loli said. The others looked at her…
