Episode Thirty-Eight

I chuckled as I pecked Ivy’s forehead. Why’s she always sleeping after we have sx? I carried her and took her into the private room in my office. After cleaning her, I let her sleep on the king size bed.
Then I went back to finish my work. Later that evening, I was still surprised that she’s still sleeping and I didn’t want to wake her up.
So I just carried her to the car and ignored all my employees curious stares.
When I got home, she didn’t even move until I started climbing the stairs. She opened her eyes slowly and used her hands to rub her eyes slowly like a cute kitty.
I smiled and pecked her head. She pouted and put her hands around my neck. “Hubby I’m so tired. I want to sleep more,” she whined.
“But first you need to shower and eat something before sleeping,” I answered. “But I’m not hungry. I just want to sleep,” she said.
“But you have to eat something first. Don’t go to bed on an empty stomach,” I said. Immediately I finished saying that, she burst into tears.
“I want to sleep. I don’t want to eat,” I was shocked by her sudden outburst. I quickly consoled her rocking her like a child.
“It’s okay. No need to cry. Just go to sleep,” I said and she smiled resting her head on my chest. Why is kitty behaving so weirdly? Where’s the feisty kitten I’m familiar with.
I walked into the room and drop her on the bed. Before I could leave she opened her eyes and held my hands. “I feel so hot. Please remove my clothes for me.” The Ac is on and she’s still feeling hot. Nevertheless I didn’t argue just removed her clothes for her.

Later around midnight, kitty woke me up. “Hubby I’m hungry. I want to eat pizza,” she said and I blinked out the sleep in my eyes. Pizza at 1:am in the morning.
I tried to dissuade her but she stubbornly refused. Even about to cry. So I had to prepare one of the frozen pizza in the fridge for her.
Y’all know my cooking skills aren’t good so I almost burnt pizza. When kitty saw the half burnt pizza, she said she isn’t feeling hungry anymore.
As she left for the room, I stared at her frustrated.

After few days, Brian couldn’t take it anymore. Ivy’s been behaving weirdly lately. Everyone noticed it from the mood swings to fatigue, from fatigue to constant food demand.
Brian finally concluded it’s stress and took her out on a date. When they got there, she was smiling so beautifully that Brian took a picture and uploaded it limiting the people that could see the picture online.
When the waiter came, Brian ordered lots of fish dishes. When Ivy saw the dishes unlike the former usual excitement, she felt irritated.
“Hubby I don’t want all these. I don’t want any fish dishes,” she protested.
“What’s wrong? I thought you loved fish,” he said looking at her. He carried one plate of barbeque and pushed it towards her. “Try your favorite barbeque.”
But as soon as Ivy perceived the aroma of the dish, she hurriedly stood up and ran to the restroom.
Brian followed and watched worriedly as she vomited in the toilet sink. She kept on vomiting that he wondered when she would stop.
This furthermore confirmed his suspicious that something is really wrong with kitty. He brought out his phone and searched for causes of her lastest behaviours.
Google’s first result was pregnancy. He stared at the word as his heart thumped faster. Could she pre.gnant? He read all info and decided to secretly buy pregnancy test.
On their back home while kitty was asleep in the car. He snuck to a pharmacy and purchased five different pregnancy tests.
When he got home, he informed some of his bodyguards to secretly remove all the high heels and bags in her room. Just in case it turned out to be positive, she might want to break his head.
Then the next thing he thought of was how to get her to pee. While he was still thinking, Ivy stood up. They are currently in the second sitting room of the mansion.
“Kitty where are you going to?,” he asked hopefully.
“I need to use the bathroom. I really need to pee badly.”
He immediately stood up and stopped her. “No need to stress yourself. I’ll get a bowl for you to pee in.”
He then left without giving her a chance to reply. Ivy was too tired to care.
As soon as he brought the bowl, she peed in it and he rushed to the bathroom.
He immediately used the pregnancy tests as instructed. He waited for few minutes and prayed silently wishing she’s really pre.gnant.
After sometime he carried all the tests up. All the tests were showing two positive red lines. Meaning she’s really really pre.gnant.
He shouted happily pun¢hing the bathroom wall not caring about the pain. Ivy rushed in.
“Hubby what’s wrong.”

He walked towards her and carried her up happily. “I’m pregnant,” he said and Ivy looked at him confused.
He shook his head,“Sorry I mean we are… No…. You are pre.gnant”
“What!!!!”

**Meanwhile at the city hospital

“You’ve been discharged. You can leave now. Just take care of the injury on your forehead and make sure to buy the drugs I listed for you,” the doctor told Susan who nodded slowly.
“No need to pay for the bills or the drugs. It’s been taken care of,” the doctor continued and left after saying that. Susan checked the injury on her forehead. It still looks pretty bad.
That bch will pay for this. Who the he.ll is she? She opened her phone and saw a notification of a post from Brian’s Instagram page. It’s a picture of that bch smiling happily after putting her in this condition.
She immediately called someone and said,“Tj I need you to investigate someone for me. I’ll send her picture right now.” She then cut the call. Before she makes the bch pay, she has to first find out more about her.
