“Let me down… I feel dizzy,” Ivy said as Brian is carrying her up and turning her around. “Sorry,” Brian said gently carrying her carefully to the room. He then put her on the bed gently.
“Do you feel tired or sore anywhere?,” he asked rubbing her back gently.
“Stop this right now Brian! I’m so confused… What were you saying in the bathroom about me being pre.gnant. Why would I be pre.gnant when we use protection often,” she asked and Brian stopped smiling immediately.
She’s never called him Brian for a long time now. It was pervert then hubby. She must be really upset. Brian gulped and thanked God that he already hid all the high heels or any other objects she could use on him.
“ See I bought five pregnancy tests and all are showing two red lines meaning you are pregnant. And you know protection isn’t hundred percent sure,” he replied showing her the tiny pregnancy sticks. Ivy looked at the pregnancy tests blankly and touched her flat stomach.
“We are going to have a little kitty,” Brian said excitedly placing his hands on hers. It was as if the news just clinched in Ivy’s brain. Cause suddenly she threw her arms around Brian’s neck and shouted excitedly.
“Oh!My!God! I’m pre.gnant! Brian! I’m pre.gnant. We are going to have a baby! Our baby!” Brian laughed happily seeing that she now got the news finally.
He hugged her tightly, cradling her on his laps feeling very delighted at the great news. Suddenly Ivy looked up to him and asked,“ I still don’t get it. I should be the first person to know about this pregnancy. Why did you think I was pre.gnant?”
Brian stopped laughing immediately gulping and looking away. Ivy looked at him suspiciously. This is one of the signs that shows that someone is hiding something.
“Hubby what are you hiding from me?,” she asked again.
“Why would I hide anything? Besides it’s been obvious with your lastest mood swings and all your new behaviours that you are pre.gnant,” he answered still not looking at me.
“Nice try. You want me to believe you have experience with pregnant women like I would even believe that. We both know you are hiding something from me. So you have to tell me now or else I’ll use my own method,” Ivy answered.
Brian gulped and remembered the picture of Susan’s battered head that Ken sent to him. He’s well aware of what Ivy can do when she gets really mad. He said a silent prayer in his heart and sighed.
“Kitty first promise me, you won’t get mad at me and use your high heels.”
“If I’m satisfied with your answer, I can pardon you and use my Dior bag on your head instead.”
As soon as she said that, Brian looked at her. Dior bag? That’s even worse than her shoes.
“Kitty, I give up. Don’t use any of it on me. I admit I purposely didn’t use protection those times cause I wanted to get you pre.gnant. I want a cute little kitty like you but I knew you would say you aren’t ready cause of college.
I’m sorry if this pregnancy might holdup your plans for a while but I won’t ever regret having a tiny little kitty like you,” he sighed after the long speech.
He waited anxiously for what she was gonna say. But when he heard her quiet sobs, he looked up and panicked. Wondering what he said to make her cry.
She wiped off her tears,“Hubby I feel like I don’t deserve you. You deserve someone better than a Klepto. I… Love… You… So…Very…Much.”
Brian smiled relieved that she didn’t even think of using either her shoes or bag on him. He held her hands and said,“Sssh no need to cry. I know you don’t deserve me but what can I do? I have no choice than to spend all the rest of my life with you feisty kitty.”
She laughed pun¢hing him lightly. He was relieved to see her laugh again. He bent down and planted ksses on her stomach. She giggled cause his ksses are ticklish.
“Now go and take a shower. First thing tomorrow we’ll go to the doctor then to your father’s mansion to share the good news. I know you’ll want to tell Mrs Helen,” Brian said as he helped her undress slowly.
Ivy nodded and walked towards the bathroom. Brian stopped her,“Kitty won’t you call me to come and help you. I perform great service in the bathroom and don’t even require payment.” He smiled mischievously.
Ivy understood what he meant by great service so she shook her head at his shamelessness. “No, thank you per.vert.”
“Kitty your mom doesn’t want me to help you guys,” he whined looking at Ivy’s stomach.
“Don’t call the baby kitty. That’s my name,”She pouted cutely.
Brian laughed,“Are you jealous of our baby?”
“No, I’m not. I’m never jealous of anyone,” she denied.
“Says the lady who beat up a bch for giving her husband lunch,” Brian said teasingly.
Ivy blushed out of embarrassment and ran into the bathroom. Brian laughed.

**The next day at the city hospital
Brian?
“Sir the test results shows that your wife is four weeks pre.gnant and the baby is in a perfect condition,” the doctor said handing over the test results to me. I smiled and shook his hands.
“Can we see the baby?,” I asked excitedly. The doctor shook her head at the expression of the new soon to be father.
“No… The baby is still a size of a pea. It’s not well developed yet and you should buy all the drugs on that list for your wife. She should also attend the hospital regularly for prenatal care.”
Brian nodded and shook hands with the doctor before leaving her office. As they walked out, they didn’t notice the curious stares of others. All the nurses and patients were staring at the stunning young couple wearing matching outfits.
They are both wearing yellow trousers and shirts that has ESSENTIALS with black Dior sneakers. Their appearance screaming wealth.
“Kitty do you want to eat something before we go and visit Mrs Helen,” Brian asked gently oblivious to the stares around them.
Ivy shook her head and answered,“No I still feel a little bit nauseous. I don’t feel like eating anything now.”
Brian smiled and pecked her forehead. Some of people there cheered saying ‘Aww…Awwn…’ at how loving the couple are behaving.

**At the Faye Mansion

Everyone had mixed reactions at the news of Ivy’s pregnancy. Tonia was angry and more hatred filled her heart.
Mrs Helen of course was very happy. Tony was excited to hear about a future grandchild that would be the first heir to the Faye family in future.
Meanwhile Marie had a feeling of loss that she had finally lost Brian forever to Ivy. She felt immense hatred just like her mother and didn’t even bother concealing hers.
She walked to Ivy and said,“No wonder we are sisters. You will also become a college drop out like me.” Ivy glared at her,“At least I still have someone I can rely on. But you have no one or anything to rely on.”
Marie felt so angry that she walked closer to her about to do something when Brian looked over and saw what was going on.
He hurried there and said,“You haven’t learnt your lesson bch. Stay five meters away from my wife while we are here unless I’ll do something worse than the other time.”
Marie walked away saying,“I pray she falls off the stairs or even get hit by a car so she lose that ba$tard in her.” Tonia $lapped her face. “Mom!,” she screamed and ran out.
“Please forgive my daughter’s behavior,” Tonia apologised. Brian sighed feeling frustrated. Mrs Helen held Ivy’s hands and took her out of the room. Tonia sneakily followed them.

In the kitchen
“See I wanted to give you some of the bird nest snacks I bought from my trip to China. I even heard it’s healthy for pregnant women.
If you feel nauseous and don’t feel like eating anything. You can just take it,” Mrs Helen said bringing out a snack bucket.
Ivy smiled happily and watched her. “Ivy go to the sitting room and wait for me. I have to get the remaining bird nest snack in my room.
I want you to have it with this one here since it will be more helpful to you than me,” she said.
“Mom I’ll just follow you instead.”she answered and they left together. They didn’t notice Tonia hiding nearby. As soon as they left, Tonia came to the kitchen.

I couldn’t get rid of that bch and now she’s having a ba$tard. No! I won’t ever let her be happy. What Marie couldn’t achieve, I won’t let her achieve it.
I can’t let that dead bch daughter have the last laugh. I smiled evilly and looked at the bucket of bird nest snack on the kitchen counter.
This can be the key to her doom. I’ll get rid of that bch and the ba$tard in her stomach once and for all…
