Lea’s store,
Lea was stunned as she listened to Kira, “W-What?!” She blurted out, “The woman who helped you when you arrived in the M Province turned out to be your mother-in-law?!” Lea asked in disbelief.
Kira nodded her head lightly.
Lea’s shoulders dropped!
“Oooooh!. What a coincidence!”
“Yeah,” Kira agreed.
“Well at least, you wouldn’t struggle to adjust to her attitude, unlike that annoying Madame Gezel!” Lea said after a while.
“Ennn… But I don’t know if Tim will agree if I bring her to the Villa,” Kira said, bothered.
“He seemed to hate her mother, but I don’t want to leave her in the apartment,” Kira added.
” Babe, maybe Mr. Tan hate his mother, for now, but if his mother will not get tired to ask for his forgiveness, you’ll see, his hatred will slowly fade away, a mother is always a mother that no one can replace,” Lea said.
“I hope so,” Kira said.
She doesn’t want Tim to hate Aileen for the rest of his life.

When Kira got back home, Aileen was already home too.
“Hey, Kira!” Aileen greeted Kira with a wide smile.
Kira stared at Aileen, “Auntie, why you seemed so happy?” She asked.
Aileen took Kira’s hand and held it tightly, “I don’t know what you said to my son which made him change his mind, but I still want to thank you,”
Excitement arose in Kira’s heart, ” Auntie, you mean…”
“He hasn’t forgiven me yet, but he said he will try, That word alone already gave me hope,” Aileen said.
“That’s good news, Auntie!” Kira said.
“And it’s all thanks to you,” Aileen said.
Kira smiled, “I didn’t do anything, Auntie,” Kira replied.
“Oh, you should stop calling me, Auntie, you should be used to call me mother-in-law,” Aileen said.
Kira’s smile widened, “Alright, mother,”
“And Kira, I apologized for what happened to your parents,” Aileen’s expression turned sorrowful.
“M-Mother…” Kira stared at Aileen.
“Tim told me about it,” Aileen said.
“That was a long time ago, mother, and I have already forgiven father-in-law,” Kira replied.
“My son is so lucky to have you in his life,” Aileen said as she touched Kira’s face.
Kira doesn’t like this kind of drama, so, she tried to find another topic.
“Anyway, have you seen Drake in his unit?” Kira asked Aileen.
“I have to inform him that we’re moving out tomorrow,” She added.
“I haven’t noticed him for the past few days,” Aileen replied.
Kira fell in deep thoughts, ”Yeah, she did not see him for the past few days, he seemed like he is avoiding us,”

Ella came out from the garage, she was here to check on the ongoing repair units and after making sure that everything is alright, it’s time for her to go home.
Ella rode in her car, she put the car’s key on the ignition switch but the engine wouldn’t turn on!
“Uh, what happened to this car?” Ella asked herself. She tried to turn on the engine again but it still didn’t work.
Coincidentally, Drake came out from the garage too. He saw Ella with her car, she walked to the front of the car and opened its hood.
Drake approached Ella, “Miss. Ella?” He called.
Ella was startled. She touched her ?h?st as she turned her head behind her.
“Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to frighten you,” Drake apologized.
Ella heaved a sigh of relief when she realized it was just Drake, “Mr. Samson!” She called.
“Is there something wrong with your car?” Drake asked.
“Ah, I think so, the engine wouldn’t turn on,” Ella replied.
“Let me see it,” Drake said as he walked towards the car.
Ella stepped aside to give way to Drake, but when he passed in front of her, she can smell his manly scent!
Ella’s gaze followed Drake and before she knows it, she was already staring at him. It was already night, but how did he manage to stay fresh?
Ella continued to stare at Drake.
Drake checked the car’s engine. He took his tools and fixed the engine’s minor problem and in just a few minutes, he looked up to Ella.
“Miss. Ella, could you try to turn on the engine?” He said, but Ella seemed to hear nothing as she looked at him.
Drake knitted his brows, “Miss. Ella?” He called her again, but still, she did not respond.
Drake walked closer to Ella, he waved his hand in front of her to get her attention, just then, Ella blinked her eyes a few times, as if she had just woken up from her daydream.
“Uh!” Ella blinked a few times, “W-What?” She asked with no idea.
Drake couldn’t help but smile, ” I was worried that something might be wrong, I was talking to you earlier but you did not respond, you just looked at me,” He said.
Ella’s face heated up!
‘My God! He caught me staring at him!’
Ella hurriedly turned to hide her blushing face. Drake, on the other hand, did not noticed Ella’s behavior.
“Try to turn on the engine, Ms. Ella,” Drake said again.
Ella was thankful that she has to get inside the car, at least, she can hide herself in there.
She patted her cheek as soon as she shut the door. ‘My God Ella! Since when did you start to admire a man?!’
Ella took a deep breath to calm herself before she turned on the car engine.
Thankfully,the engine works again.
Ella slid down the car window, “Thank you so much, Mr. Samson!” She said with gratitude.
Drake smiled, “No problem,” he said.
“What could I do to pay you back?” Ella asked.
“Consider it as a bonus, Ms. Ella,” Drake replied..
“How about, let’s have coffee sometime—” Ella froze, ‘Oh, Ella, you’re so straight forward!’
‘Really?!’
‘Ask a man for a coffee?’
‘You’re just using your car as an alibi!’
Ella bit her lower lip, “Uhm, ” She looked at Drake shyly.
“Don’t misunderstand me!” Ella is being defensive!
“I mean, I didn’t mean anything! I just want to treat you to coffee as a thank you for helping me!” She added.
‘Oh, Ella, being defensive will only expose your true motive!’ Ella scolded her self.
Drake smiled, for now, he was not interested in anyone, so, he did not pay much attention to Ella,
” Alright, Ms. Ella, but maybe next time!” Drake said.
“A-Alright,” Ella replied, she was thankful that Drake did not notice her behavior.

Kira patiently waited for Drake’s arrival outside her unit. After a few hours of waiting, Drake finally arrived. She looked at Drake who was walking on the staircase.
“Drake,” Kira called.
Drake was walking upstairs with his gaze on his feet, so, he did not notice Kira waiting for him outside her unit.
“Drake,”
Drake stopped in his track and he slowly lifted his gaze when he heard Kira’s voice.
“Hey, it’s been a few days since the last time we’ve talked,” Kira said.
Drake stared at Kira, “W-What are you doing outside?” He asked.
“I’ve waited for you because I can b?r?ly see you in the morning,” Kira said.
“Are you avoiding us?” Kira couldn’t help but ask.
Drake lowered his head, “I have to,” He did not deny it.
“Oh!” Kira blurted out. She doesn’t need to ask why because she already knew the reason.
“Anyway, I wanted to tell you something,” Kira said.
Drake lifted his gaze again.
” Yana, Mother-in-law and I are moving out tomorrow,” Kira said.
“I-I just want to inform you about it,” She added.
“Uh,” Drake blurted out.
“Drake, I hope we can still be friends even if I move out,” Kira said.
“O-Of course, N-Nothing will change between us,” He added.
” I hope you can find a woman you deserve Drake,” Kira said, Drake just revealed a faint smile, but there’s still a trace of loneliness in his eyes.
He felt like, Kira was his karma for being such a womanizer before.

The next day, as promised, Tim hired a truck to carry all the things that Kira needed to bring to the villa.
Kira stood near the truck and watched the men loading their belongings while holding Yana’s little hand.
Yana silently watched the men who carried the boxes one by one and put it on the truck.
Yana tilted her head into her mom, “Where are we going, mommy?” She asked innocently.
Kira looked down to Yana, she kneeled to level to Yana, “We’re going to move out, baby,” Kira said to her daughter.
Yana knitted her brows, “Move out?” She repeated innocently.
“Ennn…” Kira nodded her head,
“What is that?” Yana asked again.
“Moving out, that means we’re going to transfer and live to another place,” Kira explained.
“Oh,” Yana blurted out, she then looked around as if she is looking for someone.
Yana looked at her mother again when she couldn’t find what she’s looking for, “How about daddy?” Yana asked which made Kira speechless.
Tim heard the mother and daughter’s conversation, he walk closer to them to join them, “Yana,” He called.
Yana looked up at Tim.
Tim kneeled beside Kira, “Do you want to live in a house like a palace?” Tim asked his daughter.
The child’s eyes sparkled, “A palace?!” She asked excitedly.
“Yes,” Tim replied with a wide smile on his face.
” A house like a palace. Like where your favorite princesses live!” Tim added.
“Ennn!” Yana nodded her head repeatedly.
“So, we’re moving into the house like a palace, but” Tim paused for a moment.
“We can’t bring your daddy there,” Tim continued.
“Why?” Yana looked at Tim innocently.
“Because we are moving to your father’s house,” Kira suddenly said.
Tim automatically turned his head to Kira, he throws her a questioning look.
‘I thought they have to take it easy before telling Yana that he is her father!’
Kira ignored Tim’s meaningful look, she held Yana in her shoulders, “Baby, Your dad/uncle is not coming with us, okay? And from now on, you will call nice uncle a daddy,” Kira said.
She knew it was sudden, but it is better to tell Yana about the truth as early as possible, she may no understand what’s going on around her, but Kira hoped that the truth will sink into her daughter’s mind.
