*Back to the present.*
“If she only agreed to run away with me, perhaps, she might still be alive until now. Perhaps, we are living happily with our family.” Richard said.
Kira’s entire body trembled as she listened to Mr. Fuente. She wasn’t trembling because of fears but because of anger.
Tears flow from Kira’s face but her expression was cold. She gritted her teeth and balled her hands.
“You’re a true ev!l!” Kira shouted and attacks Mr. Fuente, but Mr. Fuente lifted his hand which was holding the gvn.
“Nah ah ah,” He said as he aims the gun to Kira who was a few steps away from him now.
Kira stopped in her track as she saw the gvn.
“Why are you rushing your death?” Mr. Fuente revealed an evil smirk. “Are you excited to join your parents?” He added.
Kira’s gaze shifted from the gun to Mr. Fuente, “Pfft!” She spits on his face
“Dream on”

Tim was anxious while driving his car to Kira’s location with the police following behind him. He would glance at his phone every once in a while.
Kira was heading to the Hilltop Village.
‘What is she doing there?’
‘Or should he say, what are they doing there?
Tim was sure that Kira was not alone there, and he wouldn’t feel relieved unless he saw her safe and sound.
‘Kira, don’t worry, I am almost there!’ Tim said inside. He almost reached Kira’s current location.
The road was not busy because it was already abandoned a few years ago, so, Tim has reached the location in a few minutes.
Tim pulled over when he saw a car parked ahead of him, he got out of his car but he did no see Kira.
“Kira!” Tim tried to call for Kira, but then, “Bang!” A gvnshot resounded the whole place.

“Are you excited to join your parents?” Mr. Fuente revealed a smirk of victory.
“Pfft!” Kira spits on Mr. Fuente’s face, “Dream on!” She said fiercely.
Mr. Fuente gritted his teeth, his expression turned called when Kira spits on him. He was furious by her arrogance.
Mr. Fuente suddenly pulled Kira’s hair as he aimed the gvn on her chin.
“Don’t be too arrogant!” He said with his gritted teeth.
“Remember that your life is in my hands. I can kll you whenever I want. With just one click of the trlgger, I can make you lost your life!” He warned but Kira seemed unaffected as she revealed a smirk.
“Do you think klling me will make you live peacefully?” She asked sarcastically.
“Ha!” Kira let out a short yet sarcastic laugh. She ignored Mr. Fuente’s anger, she doesn’t feel afraid anymore.
All she had in her heart was anger and the eagerness to avenge her parents.
“Klling me will only give you nightmares. I will not make you live peacefully even if I die” Kira added as she revealed an evil smile that shaken Mr. Fuente.
‘Isn’t this the reason why he wants to get rid of this woman?’
‘Because she is giving him nightmares?’
‘Nightmares that would visit him every time he fell asleep?
He lives like that for almost twenty years. He felt like he was going to go insane whenever he was having an anxiety attack.
“Why?” Kira didn’t mind the pain on her head.
“Are you afraid?!” She asked sarcastically when she noticed Mr. Fuente’s face turned pale.
Mr. Fuente tightened his grip on Kira’s hair, ” You know that no one will see us even if I kll you right now”
“Are you sure?” Kira asked sarcastically while enduring the pain in her head..
“This is an abandoned part of the road, so, no one can help you out of here!” Mr. Fuente said as he brings his gvn closer to Kira’s chin.
“I don’t think so!” Kira replied.
Just then the police siren could be heard from afar.
“What—” Mr. Fuente lost his focus on Kira and his eyes went wide opened when he heard the siren.
Kira took the chance She quickly held Mr. Fuente’s wrist and twisted it.
“Ugh!” Mr. Fuente didn’t expect Kira to fight back.
He was surprised when Kira suddenly held his wrist which was holding the gun and twisted it.
Mr. Fuente felt the pain in his wrist, his hand lost its strength and he lets go of his gvn and drop it on the ground.
Kira kicked Mr. Fuente in his back which made him plunged into the rocky ground.
‘Ugh!” Mr. Fuente ?rinn?d when his body slumped on the rocky ground.
Kira on the other hand instantly picked up the gvn that was on the ground.
Mr. Fuente helped himself to stood up, he has to run away before Kira picked up the gvn for he knows that she won’t spare him.
Mr. Fuente was able to pull himself, he then turned to escape but before he could even take a step…
“Bang!” A gvnshot resound the whole place.
Birds were disturbed and flew away.

‘Kira!’ Tim’s heart beats so fast when he heard the gunshot. The policemen and Tim’s men stopped in there track too.
They don’t know the exact location of the gvnshot.
Tim checked his phone again, the red dot that reads Kira’s location was just ahead of their location.
“This way! Tim pointed the road ahead of them which was heading to the deep curve part of the road.

The gvnshot made Kira snapped back to her senses. She looked shocked while her entire body was shaking.
Kira dropped the gun from her hand and it landed near her feet.
Mr. Fuente felt the pain at the back of his head. He slowly lifted his hand and held his head. It was so painful.
It was unbearable like someone cut a hole in his skin, dr!lled a h ole through his $kull and is burning his scalp and brain.
Mr. Fuente’s body slumped on the ground.

“Kira!” Tim heaved a sigh of relief when he saw Kira standing in a distance.
He rushed towards her as well as his men and the police, but then, Tim stopped on his track when he saw Kira in her shocked expression. She looked stunned as if she had seen a ghost.
“Kira!” Tim called Kira, but she seemed like she didn’t hear him.
‘My God! What happened to my wife?!” Tim couldn’t help but felt worried.
Tim noticed Kira’s gaze fixed on the ground. He followed her gaze and his eyes went wide opened when he saw a man lying on the ground who seemed to be unconscious!
Tim hurriedly took big strides and approached Kira, he can now see the man’s face and it is Mr. Fuente!
The policemen approached Mr. Fuente, they checked his pulse.
“He’s still alive!” One of the policemen shouted.
They hurriedly call for an ambulance to rescue them.
“Sweetheart,” Tim blurted out, he saw the gun a few inches from her feet.
Kira slowly lifted her gaze when she heard Tim’s voice. Her entire body was trembling when she realized what she had done.
“N-No!” Kira said in a faint yet trembling voice as she shook her head.
“I-I didn’t mean to kll him!” She said in anxiety!
“N-No!” Kira continued to shake her head.
‘No! It can’t be. I am not a mu..rderer!” Kira said as she cried. She couldn’t accept the fact that she let her anger engulf her and she could have klled someone.
If that’s so, she is not different from Mr. Fuente.
Tim felt sorry for Kira. She seemed so scared and he hated to see her that way.
“Ssshhh!” Tim embraced Kira. He wants her to feel at ease. “Everything’s going to be alright,” He tried to console Kira as he stroked her back.
“I don’t want to go to jail!” Kira got paranoid.
“Ssshhh… You’re not going to jail, alright?” Tim continued to console Kira.
“I am your husband and I won’t let you suffer, I will not allow it,” Tim added.
The ambulance came and took Mr. Fuente while Kira was brought to the police station for questioning.

Mr. Fuente was brought to the hospital and was brought straight to the operating room.

Tim never left Kira’s side until Vince, the family lawyer came.
“Will I be detained?” Kira asked worriedly to Vince.
“Don’t worry, you will not go to jail if we can prove that you just did it as self-defense,” Coby said to Kira.
Kira nodded her head,
“Missus, live everything to me, and I won’t let you down,” Vince said when he noticed the worries on Kira’s face.
“Thank you,” Kira said.
Kira and Vince went silent when the officer came for questioning.

Tim patiently waited until Kira and Vince came out from the interrogation room. He heaved a sigh of relief when he saw Kira and Vince came out with the police officer.
“How did it go?” Tim asked.
“We can bail her out,” Vince said.
Tim nodded his head, “That’s good then, ” he said.
“I just have to process her bailing so that she can go home with you,” Vince excuses himself.
Tim just nodded his head. He took off his coat and put it on Kira, he then held her and bring her to the waiting chair.
“Are you alright?” Tim asked.
Kira just nodded her head lightly.
Tim took a deep breath..
“The officer who assisted Mr. Fuente in the hospital called me,” Tim said after a while.
Kira froze for a moment before she slowly turned her head to Tim.
“Mr. Fuente is still fighting for his life,” Tim said.
“H-He’s still alive?” Kira asked.
“Ennn…” Tim nodded, “But still unconscious,” He added.
Kira pulled back her gaze, she doesn’t know what to feel, she still feels threatened by him, but somehow, she thought that he shouldn’t die.
“He shouldn’t die,” Kira mumbled.
“Dying is such an easy punishment to him, He has to pay for what he did to my parents,” She added.
Tim turned his head to Kira with his knitted brows, ” What are you saying?” He asked.
Kira sigh and tears started to fill her eyes as she thought of are poor parents.
“Mr. Fuente confesses his crime to me,” Kira said.
“It wasn’t your father, Tim, they didn’t die during the accident. Mr. Fuente plotted my father’s de..ath, and it’s just happened that your father got involved with the accident.”
“W-What?!” Tim was stunned!
“He plotted my father’s de.ath because of his so-called love for my mother, but my mother refused to come with him, so, he decided to kll both of them by making the car fall to the bottom of the cliff with my parents on board.”
Tim doesn’t know how to react to the truth. His father has lived with guilt all his life, thinking that he accidentally klled Kira’s parents. But now, it turned out that somebody has plotted for it.
If that’s the case Mr. Fuente shouldn’t die. He has to pay for all of his wrongdoings.
For klling Kira’s parents and for attempting to kll Kira too.
