?Dana’s POV ?
I stormed outside angrily and bitterly and bombed into Barry.
He immediately held me and hugged me to himself then I released more tears on him.
“I don’t want to forgive him, I can’t just do that” I cried and he patted my back.
“He is a nice but lonely person Dana, you have got to forgive him.”
“I heard what happened, it’s okay, just forgive him” he cooed and hugged me more tightly.
“But I don’t want to” I insisted.
“Just do it, he is still your biological father, please Dana, find it in your heart to forgive him” he advised and we disengaged from the hug.
“You have a good heart, please do, just forgive him alright” he said and dried my tears.
“Come on” he beckoned and held my hand in his and started leading me back to his office.
He got to the door and left me there.
“Remember he is still your father” he said then took a step back.
“Go on, he most be expecting you” he added then left.
I stood at the door for a while before going back inside.
He raised his eyes up and starred at me as I walked in sullenly.
“Dana, you came back” he said on his feet.
I fixed my eyes on the floor then walked up to him and quickly embraced him.
I felt him smile as he hugged me back.
“I’m sorry for that just now, it was just too shocking and unexpected, I didn’t think about what you must have passed through too, I ignored that and only thought about myself” I mouthed.
“Its okay, I’m the one that has offended you Dana, I didn’t no you still lived and that is actually my biggest mistake.”
“I’m sure your mom wasn’t happy with me all along, I failed her and failed you at the same time” he replied.
“My mother?” I asked disengaging from the hug.
“Can you tell me more about her?”
“How and why did she die? Do you have a picture of her?” I inquired and he nodded.
“Close your eyes” he ordered and I did.
Then I felt him touch my head and memories and images of a pretty lady started coming to me.
I started seeing them and its lasted for a while.
“Wow, she was really beautiful” I wowed.
“Yea” he replied and sat down.
“But why wasn’t I pretty like her?” I asked and also sat down beside him.
“Aren’t you right now?” He asked back.
“I am but..”
“No, the book didn’t give you that beauty, that is your natural beauty, Deli just tempered with it, he wanted to make you suffer because of me” he cut me in.
“Huh, you mean this is the real me? Like my real and natural beauty?” I asked and he smiled softly and touched my hand.
“Yes child, its a pity, I don’t like how you grew up at all, I’m sorry you had a tough beginning” he cooed and I nodded.
“But who is this Deli?I’m kind of curious about him” I asked.
“Well, he used to be my mano and friend, even your mom used to be my mano and friend. Deli liked her but she turned him down because she wanted me and that was it, he is naturally tricky so he tricked me and had your mother killed.”
“Well he is now dead, let’s not talk about him again crystal” he answered.
“Crystal? Is that my name?” I asked.
“Yes, your mom named you that, that’s your real name” he cooed and I gasped.
“Wow, I love the name, but what’s yours? I don’t no your name, no one calls it here” I inquired and heard him chuckle.
“They don’t no my name, that’s the reason they don’t call it, but my name is just simple, I’m Anthony” he answered and I nodded.
“What of mom’s name?” I asked.
“Victoria” he answered again and I smiled.
“You both have nice names dad” I told him and knew he got surprised that I called him dad.
“Don’t worry, you’ll be hearing that from me for a lifetime” I said and beamed smiles at him.
“Thank you, its a pleasure hearing that from you child,its a great pleasure knowing you’re alive and well, thanks for all that” he cooed and I nodded.
We both heard foot steps and we saw the Dean coming in.
I immediately stood up.
“How is your reconciliation going? I did have a feeling about her being your kid, congratulations” I heard the dean say.
I smiled then left them to find Barry few steps away from there.
I ran to him and jumped on him.
“Thank you, thanks for your advice.”
“Thanks” I cooed and felt him smile.
“Its my pleasure” he replied then we disengaged from the hug and immediately my eyes ran into someone else.
He was starring at us both.
“Jason?”
