CHAPTER 3
Maids chamber**
” She’ll be fine” Tania said after cleaning the blood on her nose and mouth plus the ears with a wet towel
Kimora was placed on the bed and she’s still sleeping
“She’s just strong, princesses Suzy is always so mean to her” Tania said
” I haven’t figure out why she hates her so much” Ambrosia replied.
” Well my friend will be ok before tomorrow, and I also can’t wait for tomorrow” Tania smiled
” Cos of prince Jimin? ” Ambrosia said and Tania nodded..
” I and Kimora were employed here as maids after he travelled so I’ve never seen him for once but I heard he’s so handsome” Tania said
” Well yes he is, he travelled since he was sixteen and back then he was so handsome and cute, no doubt that he’d have grown more handsome, he spent four years over there already so he’ll be twenty by now” Ambrosia replied
” So…. How old is prince Cal?, Is he older than him? ” Tania asked
” No, they’re same age” .
” How come both princess are same age and both prince are same age when they have different mothers” Tania said
” Like I heard…. When queen Rachel was pregnant with prince Cal in the palace, king Jung secretly impregnated queen Sera outside the palace and when they gave birth, it’s coincidentally the same day” Ambrosia said
” So prince Cal and prince Jimin have same birthday?” Tania said shockingly
” Two years later, queen Rachel got pregnant with Royalty and at the same time, queen Sera got pregnant with Suzy outside the palace, that was when King Jung Mal brought queen Sera into the palace as the second queen and queen Rachel hates her immediately” Ambrosia said
” So queen Sera was really a royal concubine before she became queen” Tania said
” Sure,… Nine months after she came into the palace, she gave birth to Suzy and that same day, queen Rachel gave birth to Royalty” Ambrosia said
” What!, The princes where born on same day and the two princess were born on the same day too… But they hate themselves… That’s… Crazy” Tania said shockingly

Next day**
The palace is filled with so many activities already cos of prince Jimin’s arrival that’ll soon happen
The maids are cooking and tidying up everywhere and everywhere is getting settled though in the middle of all these, prince Cal and queen Rachel are just angry and thinking of ways to ruin everything
Kimora woke up in her room and smiled without opening her eyes
“Smells like my room” she thought, inhaling the scent of ink and medicine but when she remembered she’s supposed to be in the cell , she spranged up and her eyes widened, it’s morning already
“Lady Ambrosia and Tania must have saved me again, what can I do without them” she said, touching her chest
” Angels in human form I love you both” she said before getting down from the bed
” I lost a lot of blood last night, I should take some herbal tonic to replenish my lost bIood” she said to herself and went to her table where varieties of medicine bottles are sitting
She took one of them and shaked it before pouring it into a cup, she drank it and stretched herself
“Yes!, I feel better” she smiled and entered her small bathroom, she took her bath quickly before coming out to dress up in her second robe since she has only two
She rolled up her hair into a bun and applied black gel then on it then she coloured her lips
“But why did the flowers burn up when my bIood touched it yesterday? ” She wondered
” Maybe it’s insignificant” she thought and stepped out of the room
She walked down the hallway that led to the kitchen ..
“Oohmm!” Someone suddenly said, appearing in front of her
She held her chest and cringed
“You scared me!* She said
It’s Janis, the son of the king’s senior brother whose name is Morris Jung
Janis is actually a twin and his twin brother is Brayden
“Hi cutie!” Brayden said, appearing too
Though they’re both close to her and friendly but she’s closer to Janis
“Bowing to your highness” she bowed
“I hate when you address me like that, call me Janis” Janis said
” And call me Brayden, I’m not a prince so addressing me as your highness is out of it” Brayden said
” So you both are expecting me to call you by your names when you’re the sons of the king’s elder brother, bravo!, I’m not ready to die by the king’s sword, you both came to welcome prince Jimin ” she said
” Yes, I’ll see you around” Brayden said with a cute smile and left
” Well…why are you always growing more beautiful?, You look even more beautiful today” Janis said
” Oh he’s here again with his compliments, ready to make me blush” Kimora said, fanning herself with her hands
“It’s so hard here with princess Suzy right?” Janis said seriously, stepping closer and touching her hair fondly
“I can manage, you know I’m strong” she smiled, looking up at him
Janis smiled and touched her cheek
” I trust you” he said
“I told you to stop doing that your highness, it tickles me” Kimora chuckled
” You’re so cute, so much that I can’t help it” he replied and Kimora smiled
“I made a new medicine yesterday…gosh I forgot to sieve it, it’d have lost it’s potency, I’ll have to make another one” she said
” Medicine goddess” Janis said and she smiled
” I need to go join the other maids, I’ll see you around your highness” she said and rushed off to the kitchen
” Kim-Kim, you’re awake” Tania said immediately she entered
” Yes, and don’t bother to ask if I’m ok cos I am, what should I do” she asked
” Join Tania and make the candies, prince Jimin loves it so there must be no mistakes” Ambrosia said
” Yes my lady” Kimora replied and rolled up her robe arm
“Let’s get to work” she smiled.

Some hours later**.
” The palanquin that went to get the prince will soon arrive, everything is set” lady Ambrosia said
” I can’t wait” Tania said
” I hope he’s as handsome as they’ve been saying, I hope it’s not just exaggeration” Kimora muttered
” The prince is here!…gosh he’s so handsome!” Some maids said, rushing into the palace
“He’s really here” lady Ambrosia said as queen Sera came out of the palace with Princess suzy
The palanquin carriers entered the palace and dropped it gently and out of it came the most handsome man
His eyes are beautiful like the stars, his face is gorgeous and spotless, he has a gorgeous beautiful stature too and the smile on his face is just so cute!
“eomma (mother)” he smiled and rushed to Sera who widened her arms
He hugged her tightly
“adeul (son)” Sera said, hugging him more
“Mother I missed you” Jimin said gladly, finally breaking the long hug
Sera held his face and smiled
“You’ve grown more handsome, my son is now a man” she said and Jimin smiled.
” You can say that again mother” he replied..
” I missed you more son, I missed you” Sera said, hugging him again
“Oppa! (Elder brother)” Suzy smiled
” My cute little Suzy?” Jimin said and she nodded before rushing into his arms
“I missed you so much, thanks for coming back, and as you can see, I’m not little anymore, I’m now eighteen, I’m a grown up” she replied
” I know, I missed you more” he replied
Another handsome dude walked to Jimin and stood beside him, he bowed respectfully.
“Oh mother, he’s the guard who was employed to guard me in France but he choose to follow me home and here he is, his name is Cory” Jimin introduced and Cory bowed again
” Welcome to Miryang” Sera said
Suzy looked at him somehow and started debating on weather to hate him or not
“It’s a pleasure to come here your highness” Cory smiled
” Let’s go in” Suzy said
” Sure” Jimin replied and they started walking in
” Bow, it’s rude to make eye contact” Ambrosia said to all the maids standing by the hallway and they all bowed but Kimora felt the need to catch a glimpse of him again
He’s too perfect!
She raised her head and her eyes met with Jimin’s, she quickly turned her face down
“Is he a human or an angel?, His eyes are so beautiful” She said inwardly.

The King’s chamber**
“I’m back your highness” Jimin bowed immediately he entered
King Jung Mal smiled shortly. “Your journey wasn’t stressful right?” He said
“No your highness, just that I was slightly seasick, the cold was much” he replied and Jung smiled
” You’ve always been like that, enjoy today it’s yours, have fun with everyone and like you know, this palace is unpredictable, you can’t predict what’ll happen in the next minute, avoid clashing with Cal” he said
” Yes father” he smiled.

Hall of royals**
The hall is full of noblemen and the king’s men who came to welcome Jimin and they’re all seated already, chatting in merriment
Jimin came in and they all bowed in respect, greeting him from every angle
“I’m glad I met the palace in peace, and I’m glad to be back” he said and they all smiled as he took his seat, Cory is always beside him so he sat beside him
“Son of the great king” Janis said, sitting in front of him
” Hyungnim (elder brother)” Jimin said, smiling brightly
” Great Jimin, welcome back” Brayden said
“It’s good to see you again”
” How was France?” Janis asked
” Best place to be, and thanks for the letters” Jimin replied brightly
” By the way you grew up into an handsome young man” Brayden said
” You can say that again Bray” Janis replied
“The narcoleptic son of a royal concubine is back” queen Rachel said, entering the hall
Everyone turned to the devil as she made her loud entry
” Rachel I think I said you’re not allowed to disrupt this party* Sera said, standing up
“Don’t do anything funny queen, step out” Suzy said, standing up too
” What if I don’t? ” Rachel replied arrogantly
By now, the maids are carrying the meals and wine into the hall in a long line and Kimora is in front of the line, carrying a jug of wine on a royal tray
“Get out of here” Sera said
“Can’t believe a lowlife is talking shamelessly to me, how disrespectful” Rachel said just when Kimora stopped beside her
Rachel grabbed the jug of wine and poured the contents on Sera’s face …
“Mother!” Jimin and Suzy chorused with widened eyes…
