CHAPTER 73
Hong’s place**
Strangely, Minho felt attached to his house and can’t even pinpoint why
He’s sitting in the big lawn of the house, watching everything that’s going on.
Hong’s house is among the few houses that escaped destruction during war so right now he accommodated a lot of the homeless townspeople, he’s the one feeding them too…he’s just so selfless and kind
Minho watched as he supervised his servants who are serving food for the people and when their eyes met, Hong came over
“Ahjussi” Minho smiled
“You didn’t tell me you’re here” Hong replied
“I just didn’t want to disturb” he replied and Hong started staring at his eyes just like he used to do anytime he visits
“Why do you like staring at my eyes?, Do I remind you of someone?” Minho asked
” Yes, you remind me of…. Jin Hong” he replied
“Who’s Jin Hong?” Minho asked
” My lost son, I lost him sixteen years ago, he should be around four then, i went farming as usual and left him home, little did I know he was following me, I got home and couldn’t find him, a general search was carried out In the village and sadly he wasn’t found, another farmer said he heard the voice of a crying child on his way back from the farm and searched for where it’s coming from but couldn’t find it, during the search, footprints were found beside a dry well and…..
“A dry well?” Minho said, spranging up shockingly
“Yes, maybe he fell in and was rescued by someone but I couldn’t find him, but I’m hoping I’ll see him someday, I’m hopeful” Minho replied simply
” A dry well” Minho said, remembering his foster father’s letter
“He has a mole on his wrist just like you” Hong added
” Not just like me, I don’t think it’s just like me …. I think I’m your son” Minho said
” Hu…huh?” Hong said shockingly
” I was told that I was found in a dry well in this Miryang by my foster father sixteen years ago too….the tenth month… right?” Minho said
” Yes, tenth month” Hong replied, still in shock
” Can’t believe this….. Can’t believe it, father!” He said loudly
“You’re…..my son?, My Jin Hong?” Hong said, looking at him shockingly
“My name is Jin Hong?” He said
“Yes, I named you Jin, your name is Jin” Hong replied and in the next minute, Minho is already in his arms, hugging him dearly
“I never knew I’ll meet my father so easily and quickly, I’ve never thought it’ll be as easy as this,the heavens are so kind to me…I finally met you” Minho cried
” My Jin, it’s really you, no wonder your eyes always makes me wonder, so the mole on your wrist wasn’t a coincidence, my Jin” Hong cried
” Father” Minho said tearfully
“My Jin” Hong replied tearfully too
Everyone watched the scene in confusion but when they heard him saying Jin, some understood immediately
Almost everyone in Miryang knows Hong once lost a son called Jin
Suzy entered the place and when she met them that way, she stood to watch them first, trying to figure out what’s happening before walking up to them
“Jin?” She said when she heard Hong saying it
They finally broke the hug and Hong faced her
“He’s my long lost Jin Hong, my son” he said
“Really?, You’re Jin?, It’s really you?” Suzy said, almost not believing
” Yes your highness” Minho replied
“And I told you to stop addressing me as your highness, I’m Suzy… congratulations by the way, I’m so happy for you both, Hong deserves happiness and so is you, I’m so happy!” She gushed as they hugged again
” Now I realize how great a true father’s love is…. father I miss you” Suzy thought as she watched them admiringly.

A week later**
Br©thel**
” What the heck are you all doing!, I built this place with my money!, How dare you destroy it!” Yeo Sang said, trying to stop the palace guards from destroying the br©thel but it’s not working
They kept breaking down everything they see and all the gisaeng girls rushed out excluding Demi though, Demi died during the war
“I told you to stop!” Yeo Sang yelled again but she was pushed away
” It’s the order of the crown prince, he’s preparing to take over the the throne, he’s wearing the crown few days to come, no br©thel in Miryang, That’s the order from him” the guards replied and continued
Then the police from the bureau came in
“We have an order to arrest you for blackmailing” the first one said
” Blackmailing who?” She replied and Brayden appeared
” My lover, when you get to the police bureau, you’ll get back your lost senses, take her” he said and Yeo Sang was taken
The gisaeng girls all rushed out of the house that’s getting demolished.
“Brayden Jung!, You’ll die I promise you!, You’ll die for doing this to me!” She kept shouting as she was taken away
Brayden smiled as he stepped into the streets
He can smell a new air around, the destroyed houses are already getting built and it’s quiet fast cos Jimin paid for all the supplies, the town will surely be in good shape before he’ll wear the crown
“All thanks to King Jung Mal, Flower goddess Petal, Flowerina herself, then our Jimin, and the king mother Sera….. Royalty I wish you’re still alive to witness today” he smiled, looking around and closing his eyes to inhale the air of change
He made his way to Ginelle’s house and surprisingly, he met her packing her stuffs
“Where are you going to?’ he asked quickly
” Brayden” she said, looking at him
“You’re going to Brayden?” He replied
“I’m thinking of going to Shila, I can settle down there and start a new life” she replied
” New life?, What about me?” He replied seriously
“You forgave me already, that’s enough, I don’t think I should bother you anymore, I already said I’m not worth you, there are a lot of chaste girls in Miryang, you can just go for one of them Brayden, I should leave, if I keep seeing you, then I won’t be able to let you go” she replied
“Are you thinking at all?” Brayden said
” What do you mean?”
” You hurt me, yes….you apologized….I forgave you already cos it wasn’t your fault, even if it was your fault, I’d readily forgive you cos I love you!, And now you’re talking about leaving me?, Scratch it….I still love you, how many times do you want me to say that!” he replied loudly
Tears escaped her eyes and she sniffed lightly
“I just felt…. I don’t deserve you and…
His lips is already on hers and that made the statement unfinished
He refused to let her break the it, he made it hard and tight, holding unto her tightly too
Ginelle pecked him back when she realized she really won’t be able to fight it, not like sue can resist him anyways
He broke it and held her face dearly then pecked her nose tip
“Don’t you ever talk about leaving me” he said
“Many men slept with me” she said, crying
” I don’t care, it’s me you love so only that is enough for me…I love you so much Ginelle, so much” he said, hugging her
” I love you Brayden, love you with everything” she replied, crying on his shoulder

Palace**
“You rarely visit the palace these days, always with your father, i don’t blame you, you both missed each other so much” Jimin said , walking down the stone prison with Minho
“I just can’t leave him for a second, I love him a lot, he treats me like an egg, you need to see the robes he bought for me already and surprisingly they’re all my size, I love father a lot” he replied
” I’m Jealous” Jimin said and Minho giggled
They got to Morris prison and met him almost lifeless on the floor
“Guards!” Jimin yelled
Guards rushed in and the door was opened
“Take him out and summon the physician” he ordered

Sera’s room**
” This red is too dark” Kimora said, dropping the robe with her
She’s currently choosing the robe she’s to wear on the enthronement day
“Then this” Sera said
“Yes, I’ve always known it’ll be the one” Kimora replied, taking it from her
” Byeol is still asleep” Sera said, looking at her on the bed
” Yes, thankfully” Kimora replied and they laughed
” I just heard Minho’s voice” Suzy said, standing and dropping the robe with her
” You should have been used to calling him Jin right now” Sera said and Suzy rushed out
” Hey!” She hollered at Minho who looked back with a smile
“Suzy!” He waved
“You should have told me you’re here” she said, hugging him
“Want to go see father with me?” He asked
“Of course, let’s go” she replied and they held hands, leaving the palace
Kimora watched them leave and smiled, then Janis appeared
“Janis” she smiled
“It’s been a while” he replied.
