Chapter 23
“Daria please take me away from her, she might want to kll me again. I only want you and dad.”, He said.
“You told him, didn’t you? You knew that he was going to go soft on me since I am his real mom and yet you decided to tell him things of the past.
You are despicable Daria, you don’t deserve Finn and max.”, She said.
“I am despicable? You are only describing yourself, you don’t even have any right to say that I don’t deserve Finn and max.
You were the one who lied, cheated and manipulated Finn just because you were aware of how much he loved you, you are the despicable one here.”, Daria replied and Elise grabbed her hair.
“Everyone makes mistake and I did and now I am here for forgiveness but because of you, Finn and max are having a second thought.
I told you that I was also deceived, I thought Henry truly loved me but he only used me to get back at Finn.”, Elise said till holding on to Daria’s hair.
“Well that is not an excuse for your foolishness, you were just greedy that was why you fell into Henry’s trap.”, Daria said and she increased her force and pulled Daria’s hair.
“Let go of her!”, Max yelled as he bit Elise hand and she immediately jerked her hands off Daria’s hair in pain.
“I see that you both ganged up against me.”, Elise said.
“You should just leave, no one wants you here.”, Max said.
“Dad this woman doesn’t want to leave.”, Max said to finn who just got to where they were.
“Elise you should just leave, you have no family here.”, Finn said.
“So it’s because of this crazy lady in front of me? Max, you don’t want your mom anymore? Finn, this is elise, the woman you loved very well and you were willing to do anything for.”, Elise said as tears gathered in her eyes.
Finn only looked away, he didn’t want to change his mind just after seeing her show some emotions.
“Once I leave here, I’m not coming back. I will be leaving forever Finn, I will never come back.”, She said and when no one said a thing, she walked towards the door.
Finn thought of going after her but he dismissed that thought immediately, it was better she leaves so that he can completely get over her.
“Uncle Finn!!!”, Frankie screamed as she entered the house with Henry.
Elise froze immediately seeing Henry and he just smirked as he walked past her.
“Uncle Finn”, Frankie called again as she went to hug Finn.

Frankie is Henry’s younger sister, Henry was living with Texas before he disappeared with Frankie together with Elise and now they are back.
“Frankie! How are you? I am just seeing you after five years.”, Finn said as he hugged Frankie back.
He might not get along with Henry but Frankie has nothing to do with whatever issue they have with each other.
“I’m good, when my brother said he was coming back to Texas, i had to beg him to allow me to come with him. So i will be living here abd bw schooling here.”, She said happily.
“That’s good, I thought you wouldn’t come back here. I’m sure you have missed max so much, he had missed you too.”, Finn said and Frankie turned to max.
“He’s so big now, he was three years the last time I saw him. How are you dear cousin?”, She asked as she hugged him.
Though max didn’t recognize her since he was just little then but he felt comfortable with her.
“Frankie, you should talk to max inside. Finn and I have things to talk about.”, Henry said and Frankie and Max went inside.
“Henry! I’m done with all your deceit, I’m leaving you forever. I was just so stupid that I didn’t realize that you were just using me.”, Elise said and Henry turned to her.
“Don’t paint me as the bad person, we are the same.”, He said.
“You are a liar, I hate you so much.”, Elise said and left angrily.
“Why are you here? You got what you wanted didn’t you? You wanted to see me suffer by taking Elise from me and you succeeded.
You won but just keep in mind that I have gotten over her.”, Finn said.
“Hey Finn! We are seeing ourselves after five years and I didn’t even get a hug or anything, is that how you welcome a cousin?”, He replied.
“You know …!”
“I will leave you two to talk.”, Daria said trying to avoid being seen by Henry but it was too late.
“You are …”, Henry said pointing at Daria. He was trying to remember where he had seen her face before.
Daria hurriedly left to avoid being recognized by Henry, she finally met the person she has been avoiding.
She quickly got to her room, locked the door and burst into tears.

Daria broke down in tears as she remembered the horrible thing she had done with Henry.
The h®rrible past that has been haunting her all her life.
***Flash back***
“Please Sara just help me with a job, I just need to help my brother.
He’s very sick and I need some money to support him in his education.”, Daria pleaded with Sara, her former classmates in high school.
“Please just help me this once and I promise to repay you.”, Daria said.
“I honestly don’t have any money to lend you right now but I have a job for you, it’s just a night and you get paid.”, She said.
“A night and get paid, what type of job can that be? What is it about?”, Daria asked.
“You ask too many questions, you are making regret wanting to help you.
When you get there, you will get the answers yo your questions okay?”, Sara said and Daria nodded not convinced but what could she do, she was desperate for money.
“Are you sure you really want this money? I just want to make sure you won’t back down, I don’t want any disappointment.”, Sara said and Daria uncomfortably nodded.
She had so many questions but she knew than to keep quiet.
