Chapter 24
“Why are we in a bar? I thought you said you had a job?”, Daria questioned and Sara rolled her eyes.
“Come on! Why are you acting like you were just given birth to yesterday, just go with the flow.
Once you just spend a night, you can get even more than the money you you want.”, Sara said and Daria shook her head.
“A lady is needed in room 77.”, A skinny lady said to Sara and sara looked at Daria.
“I’m not doing this Sara, this is not right. I can’t sell my body just for money.
I will do anything else apart from this.”, She said angrily as she stood on her feet.
“I can’t believe that you just wanted my time, you shouldn’t think of yourself Daria, think of your younger brother.
It’s just for a night Daria.”, Sara said and Daria thought for a while.
“It’s just for a night and that’s it! I will just forget that this ever happened.”, She thought.
“Okay I will do it but this will be the last time.”, She said and Sara smiled.
“Anything you say.”, Sara said and led Daria to room 77.
When Daria got there, she met the young man that was waiting for her.
She was somehow relieved that he was some old man that just wants pleasure.
“Get on the bed!”, He commanded and Daria didn’t make any move.
She couldn’t believe that she was in a situation she had never imagined herself to be.
“Please i really need this money for my brother.”, She found herself saying, she didn’t even know why she was telling the man.
She was probably wishing he wouldn’t touch her and just pity her but wasn’t he going to deprive himself from pleasure.
“Whatever amount you need, I will double it. I will give you double just for tonight okay?”, He said and tears rolled down Daria’s face.
“Get on the bed!”, He said again impatiently and Daria dragged her feet to the bed in tears.

After the one night stand, Daria disappeared after getting paid. She didn’t even wait for the guy to wake up, she just disappeared in guilt and Shame.
***End of flashback***
?”Kady! The guy I had one night stand turned out to be Henry, Finn’s cousin.”, Daria said as she tried to talk clearly.
She had been crying since.
?”What? You mean Henry was the one you …. Oh God!”, Kady said.
?”Henry is Finn’s enemy and he is the person that I have been trying to forget. I was so stupid to make such a decision back then.”, Daria said.
?”Why is Henry of all people? Of all people in this world? Are you okay Daria? Does he recognize you?”, Kady asked worried.
?”I don’t know kady… I’m confused, I don’t know what to do.”, She said.
?”So are you going to tell Finn about this?”, Kady asked and Daria shook her head.
?”I can’t.”, She replied.
?”But shouldn’t he know? I mean he’s your boyfriend, if he truly loves you, then she just be able to accept your past and move on.”, Kady explained.
?”How exactly do you want me to explain to him that I had one night stand with his cousin, his rival. How does it even make sense?”, She said.
“What do you mean by one night stand Daria? What are you guys talking about?”, Leo asked interrupting their phone call.
?”Leo…!”, Daria called.
?”Just explain it to me and stop keeping me in the dark please, I’m not a kid anymore.”, Leo said pleading and Daria explained everything.
?”You did all this even telling me? I am just speechless, I don’t know what to say.”, Leo said and Daria burst into tears.
Kady just kept quiet, it was better she let the two siblings talk things out.
?”Leo I’m sorry, I just wanted to help. I wasn’t thinking straight that time.”
?”Did you really have to do something terrible like that just to help me?”, He said angrily.
“Leo she did it for you, don’t talk to her like that.”, Kady said to Leo.
“I know kady and i feel so miserable and pained that she went through all that because of me, she should have just let me to die and suffer rather than selling her body.”, He said angrily.
“And I’m angrily that I had no idea, you two weren’t planning to tell me at all if I didn’t hear.
You have no idea how much I really hate myself for not dying with mom and dad, life would have been more easier for daria without me.”, He said and left angrily.
“Leo please….”, Daria called in tears but he was already gone.
?”Daria let’s talk face to face.”, Kady said.
?”Tomorrow then! It’s late already, I will be fine, please check up on leo, he might be mad at me.”, She said and hung up.
“Daria are you okay?”, Finn asked knocking on the door and she quickly wiped her tears.
“Are you mad at me because of Elise?”, He asked still knocking and she opened it.
“Have you been crying?”, He asked and she said nothing.
“I’m sorry if I ….!”
“It’s not you, it’s me…”, She replied.
“Do you want to talk about it? Is something bothering you?”, He asked and she just hugged him.
“Hugging you is enough for me, its making me feel so much better.”, She said and he hugged her back smiling.
