{Moving to a New City}

Somewhere in LA

“Fûçk! Fûckery! Fukerson!!!” A feminine voice eachod off the block of the building.

Inside the walls, a girl could be seen seated on the ground in her room, covered with her belongs,

A big luggage was open but nothing was inside it, besides her was another unpacked luggage, her hair dirty and scattered all over her face.

she was frustrated and didn’t want to do this but God hâtêd her…

“Fûçk!!! Fûckery!!! Fukerson!!” She screamed again, scattering her already scattered hair.

God hated Trista and the evidence was right there… Outside her room, walking around.

The cool wind brushed her skin in a gently caress and she close her eyes, embracing the feel of nature.

“Trista!! Oh my goodness, you haven’t packed?” An older woman came into her room, with her eyes wide.

That is her mother Diana, the torture God gave her as mother. They are always moving, from city to city.

Ever since she could remember that have been moving and she don’t even have a single friends just cos the woman can’t keep a job!

The woman had told her, her father disappeared mysteriously and now she has to work double to provide for her but hêll, she needed a friend too.

It would have been much better if anyone was gonna miss her when she’s gone, at least that way she won’t feel it cos it will be on both side

“Listen to me Young lady, if you’re not done packing before the Uber gets here, you’re coming with me without clothes and you will wait for next month before I get you anything,” her mother, Diana said pointing her index finger at her.

Still standing by the door.

“I don’t wanna go to Maryland,” Trista fired back “can’t we just stay here? I love it here!” She added sadly

Her mother walked into the room fully now.

“There are better schools in Maryland… For Christ sake Trista cry me a river, build a bridge and get over it,” her mother turned around and walked away from her.

“Fûçk! Fûçking Fûckery!!! Fûkerson!!!” She screamed like a maniac.

How is life in Maryland going to be? She was gonna start all over again? Go through bullying all over again?

Lucky Diana, she was easy to make friends but what about her?

The car horn outside made her scramble to her feet, she bent over and began packing her bags as fast as she could, trying to see if all her clothes could fit.

The first thing she will do when she gets to Maryland is to explore the city, fûçking Maryland.

“Trista Jacob!” Diana yelled from the leaving room.

“Coming in,” She replied, raising her voice so her mother could hear her.

Her mother was lucky they were moving out If not their landlady would have come knocking on their door, demanding that they lower their voice or she throws them out.

The fûçking old lady won’t even let them be, they have to speak in whispers.

“Trista!!!”

“Coming…”

“We will miss the flight and I don’t have money for extra ticket,” her mother yelled.

She rushed out from the room, dragging her first luggage from behind as she ran.

Her mother who’s waiting in the living room with the cab man all set glared at her.

“Drop it, drop,” she scolded, walking towards her.

Trista did as she was told.

“Now go get ready, quickly..”

She rushed back into the bedroom and began searching for something nice to wear, she found a White crop top and a plain trouser.

she smiled, changing Into it.

By the time she walked out her mother was already done and waiting for her.

How the hêll is the woman always so fast in getting everything ready? Will she still be like this in Maryland?

“Diana, you and your daughter are trying to pull my house down, lower your Voices!” The old lady that owns the building said, standing at the entrance of her apartment.

“Of course,” her mother smile at the lady but Trista rolled her eyes.

Good thing the New Company her mother works for gave her a promotion and they transferred her to Maryland, at least they will have their own house and car.

Trista got into the back seat with her mother.

“Maryland here I come,” she yelled, just to annoy the old lady.

MARYLAND~ THE ALPHA BROTHERS CLAN

“No, no, no, no, no, calm down, stop it!” A muscular voice eachod off the walls.

A male figure throw himself on the walls before falling on his bed, struggling with himself.

“Stop it! Stay down! No!” He breathed through his mouth, fangs spiraling out and his human nails switching to claws as he battles with his animal.

The wolf inside him wanted to claim his body, go come out but he refused to let the animal out.

He couldn’t lose control and hurt someone, he didn’t want to harm anyone.

“Jax!” His Stepbrother Ty called from outside

“Fûçk! Not now!” He clenched his fist, the sudden rage inside him made his animal grow stronger.

“Jax,” His brother called again and he closed his eyes.

He’d been trying to keep his animal under control but now his brother ruined everything.

“Yeah,” he managed to reply through gritted teeth.

“Come to the kitchen…”

“Can I come later?” He asked, he couldn’t walk out there in a feral form, he was at the middle. That dangerous bridge between human and animal.

“Now Jax!” The Alpha roared, his tone leaving no room for argument.

Jaxon didn’t know why his brother had sent for him but he has to go either way. He forced himself to take one step…. Pain screamed through his body and he swiftly stopped

He doesn’t usually let his animal out so he hurts whenever he wants to shift and right now the beast wanted freedom.

He feared he might lose control someday at the rate it’s going.

Jax Walked out and Into the long hallway, resting his back on the wall, he took deep in a breath.

“1 2 3,” he forced himself to take five steps, his ears changing from human ears to that of a bêâst.

“Jax,” a feminine voice called from behind, touching his shoulder.

That gently touch soothed his bêâst and it retracted just for one minute.

No one has ever calm him, no man, no woman, his animal was a dangerous beast that even himself was losing control of it.

“Let’s go,” Ava said, taking his hand.

As they approached he could hear people speaking in low voices, all thanks to his super hearing ability.

“Why is he coming? It’s not like he’s one of us,” he heard the first voice and he knew who it came from, that bâstard Fredrick.

He was gonna kîll him.

“He’s still an Alpha, Ty’s second in command,” another voice spoke up

He knew who it was ‘Issac’

They like insulting him, fûçk them!

“If he comes here and do anything stupid I’m going to do away with him,” another voice spoke and he recognized that voice immediately

Ryan, the bâstard from the East clan.

“Watch it, you’re still speaking to my brother and my second,” Ty spoke up, his tone firm and serious.

Jax finally came into view with Ava besides him, she let go of him, walking over to were the women sat then settled down on one of the empty chairs

“You finally decided to come down,” Fredrick rolled his eyes, pissed off.

Jax clenched his fist but didn’t make a move.

“Why am I here?” He asked instead, staring at his stepbrother.

Ty hesitated.

“Why are you keeping cool? Tell him or should I help you?” Ryan asked, glaring at Ty who’s staring at his younger brother.

He shook his head sideways, then glance at Ryan.

“I will do it,” he returned his gaze to Jax

“We are taking you off the cycle,” he finally broke the awkward silence but another silence followed.

Jax let out a chuckle, no, there Is no way they are doing that? Cutting him lose, stripping him off his title means any werewolf could attack him and he could defend himself regardless but he will be on his own.

Who came up with this law? Who made this rule? Why are they stripping him off?

“Jax, the thing with your animal is what we can’t accept….”

That was it, the idiot cross his limit and now his animal is pissed like shît

“I AM A KEEPER!!” Jax roared, teeth shifting to fangs “It’s not my fault that I can’t control my animals, can’t you all see that I’m trying?” He roared, his hand switching to fur and claws.

“You are nothing!” Fredrick fired back, stepping out of the cycle to meet him.

Goddess help him, Fredrick might be the same age as him but he will fûçking bêât the shît out of him if he doesn’t back away.

Hêll!! He can take on all of them and tear them apart, he was fit! Stronger! Larger than all of them combined.

“Ty, you can’t just strip him….” Issac was still saying when Ty’s words interrupted him.

“It is done, Ryan is now my second,”

“You can’t do this, you can not!” Jax roared unbelievably.

His animal pushed and fought, threatening to burst out and tear them into shred, how dare they? It wasn’t Jax fault that he can’t be contained.

“Jax,” Ava called softly. Watching as Jax searched the room with his eyes but no one, no body said a thing about this unjust behavior from the ruling Alpha.

They were all silent and calm and he got everything he needed, they didn’t care about him.

He backward, dashing out of the room and Isaac rushed after him

“Jax!!!”

“Follow him and you will be stripped off your title too,” Ty said seriously, make him paused on his steps.

Issac glanced at him.

“He is the keeper, without him we are nothing….”

“We are something!!!” Fredrick roared, eyes red as he stared Isaac directly in the eyes.

He was fûçking tired of the guy being a pûssy, if he wants to join Jax then good luck to him.

“He is just a big bad Wolf, if we keep having him around here he will attract the humans. imagine him shifting at the middle of the road? What Will the humans think?” Fredrick asked, poking Isaac’s chest.

“He can’t even keep his animal under control, he will bring us disaster don’t you get it?” Fredrick asked

Issac glanced at Ty

“I hope you’re not making a mistake,”

Jax sat under the tree watching the cars drove by. He was in his animal form but he downsized himself to the size of a puppy.

This way humans won’t be terrified of him.

He was gonna so deal with Fredrick.

How dare he? That little shît! And here he was thinking Ty was on his side. He’d been the one to take a bullet for Ty when he was in trouble.

He went and fought those that gang up against Fredrick, he defended Ryan when no one believed him.

Protected the clan for years and this was how they repay him, calling him the big bad Wolf and stripping him off his title?

The thought of their betrayal brought back the furry and his wolf increase in size.

He started struggling to downsize but no matter how he tried, his animal just wouldn’t obey, fûçk he was losing it, he can’t shift here.. there are humans everywhere

“Oh, look at that cute stray puppy,” a feminine voice said sweetly, rushing towards him as if to carry him up.

“Fûçk human, why can’t everyone just leave him alone?” He grumbled, backing away.

Now he knows goddess hated him and the evidence was clear

“Puppy don’t run…”

[MAKE A DECISION]

“How about ânal quickie?” Imogen asked Telepathically.

Lyla wide eyes widened insanely, pain radiating through her entire body. Her blood dripping to the floor as Imogen held the sword firmly inside her âss.

How is this even possible?

Lyla bared her fangs, snarling as she prepared to free herself from Imogen, But Imogen’s own snarl was louder, and her fangs were sharper.

With a strength she didn’t know she possessed, Imogen yanked the sword out of Lyla’s âss, feeling the hilt vibrate in her hands.

Lyla let out a howl, her eyes wide with shock and fear, but this was just the beginning. Before she could retaliate, Imogen thrust the sword back into her âss with a savage twist.

“For my Mom,”

Lyla painful cries filled the air, but Imogen’s ears were deaf to them. She was locked in a battle of rage.

Her grip on Lyla’s neck tighten and she pulled out her sword, without a warning she shoved it back again and Lyla screamed in pain, shifting back to human and completely nâkêd.

“Her Majesty,” Prince Jasper glanced at his sister from where they were watching.

Queen Lumira was silent, just watching the show.

“She’s fûçking her with a sword we need to stop her,” Xander said in support. Looking around to see Everyone covering their kids eyes while some made them look away.

Scents of blood and terror filled the air as Imogen kept thrusting in and out of Lyla.

“Stop them,” Queen Lumira finally said, prince Jasper glanced at the guy next to him.

The sound of the drum echoed all through the areana but Imogen didn’t stop, her arms ached, her breath coming in gasps, but she refused to slow down.

With a roar of triumph, she plunged the sword out of Lyla, slicing open her right brêâst like a slice bread.

The whole crowed gasped.

“Arghhh!!” Lyla’s let out an anguished cry.

“For my Dad,” Imogen slice the other open

Whispers and murmurs filled the air as blood goes up and down, filling the air like rain.

She’s gonna kîll her

Why isn’t she stopping? I thought the bell was for them to stop?

She’ve gone feral, look at her eyes.

That’s true, who will stop her now? Someone had to.

Well, it’s probably not me but someone has to.

There is much blood than I expected.

She’s even bigger than they said

Hope I don’t get nightmares.

Imogen’s sword sliced through the air, each strike a blur of motion. Blood splattered onto her coat, warm and wet, but she didn’t care.

The sword sliced through Lyla’s right thigh, muscle and bone.

“Arghhhhh!” Pain screamed through Lyla’s body, her voice growing weaker and weaker with every blow.

She searched for Asher in the crowd with her eyes and she found him staring at them, shaking his head negatively as if passing a message.

This wasn’t Imogen, she was possessed cos there was no way Imogen could be this huge and he’s not risking it.

Imogen’s movements were like lightning, her reflexes honed to perfection. She felt a rush of adrenaline, a power she’d never known before. She was invincible, unstoppable and Lyla was no match for her fury.

Imogen twisted the sword, she felt a sickening crunch as the blade sliced through Lyla’s arm, severing it at the elbow.

“Argggggggggghhhhhhh!!!” Lyla let out a yelp of pain, her red eyes wide with fear of dêâth.

Without hesitation, Imogen’s sword flashed through the air again, this time severing her other arm.

Blood spurted from the stumps, soaking the ground.

The crowd held their breath.

“She’s not gonna make it,” Quinn said from where she’s watching with others.

“She went feral but I have never seen anything like this for millennials,” Violet replied.

“I think Jasper and Xander are going to stop her,” Declan added.

They focus their attention back to the center.

Imogen’s mind was a blur of red, her pulse racing, her heart pounding in her chest. She was drunk on the power of her victory, the taste of blood in her mouth. She barely registered anyone else.

As Xander and Prince Jasper approached, Imogen was already moving on to her next target, Lyla’s legs.

With a quick slice, she severed her right thigh, and then its left. Lyla howled in agony, thrashing on the ground, her remaining limbs flailing helplessly.

Xander and Prince Jasper stood before Imogen, their faces pale with shock.

“Stop!” Xander cried out.

“That’s enough!” Prince Jasper ordered, But Imogen didn’t hear him. She was too lost in the heat of battle, her mind consumed by bloodlust.

All she saw was the day her clan was destroy and her people died in thousands, the fûçking mage had kîlled them all and one of them was living with her all these while yet she couldn’t notice.

As Xander and Prince Jasper rushed to restrain her, she fought like a wild animal, kicking and screaming, But they were too strong.

Prince Jasper tackled her to the ground, pinning her there, but she shook him off with a loud roar and he went crashing into the walls

Xander came forward but she sank her claws into his flesh ready to rip it off when she felt a sudden strong wave of dizziness.

She glanced towards the queen and without thinking she took off.

Violet drew her blade, Niko, Declan and Quinn did the same.

She haven’t taken up to twenty steps when queen Lumira Wave just the tip of her finger, Imogen’s head spun and she dropped to the ground. Prince Jasper leaped on her.

“Let me go!” Imogen shouted, her voice hoarse from the struggle. “I’m not done yet!”

“Yes, you are,” Xander said firmly, his eyes meeting hers.

“This isn’t who you are. You’re not a monster.”

Imogen’s chest heaved as she fought for breath, her vision blurring. She wanted nothing but to stop all that is on all way but Instead, her eyes led closed on their own.

“Lock her up,” Queen Lumira added already walking away

OBIDEN STRONGHOLD

Obiden, ruler of the Mage and Messenger of Satanian is seen pacing back and forth. In front of him was Puppy kneeling on before him.

He stopped pacing and smacked her hard across the face, she tumbled over, the power from his fist knocking her back against the wall nearby.

Before she could recover he was already upon her, smacking her one. More time and three of her tooth flew out, blood rolling down her lips.

“Just one person and you failed! How dare you show your face to me?” He roared, picking her up from the ground he slammed her back against the floor filled with skulls, skeletons and bones.

Puppy coughed out blood, her breathing coming rapidly.

“Forgive me my Lord….”

She was still saying when he kicked her tummy, the force throwing her to the door and she cried out in pain.

“Just one Therian, I don’t want all of them damn it! I want just one and you can’t even get her for me?” He grabbed her hair, pulling her up by it.

“I will try again I promise, this time I will succeed,”

he flunged her away, walking over to the sets of blades he picked up.

“There is no time for second chance, if Lumira seal her Mating bond with that human Satanian will never raise again, you’re her handmaid and yet you can’t get a simple blood….”

“I have the blade!” Puppy suddenly screamed for her life.

Obiden paused then looked at her.

“I have it,” she quickly crawl over to the bag she came with then scrambled through it, pulling out the Demon Blade.

Obiden’s eyes glowed with satisfaction and surprised, he took it from her, holding it with so much care.

Of course he has to, Satanian and his evil hordes are locked in it.

“Master, I will set you and you will rule the world again,” he knelt down, as if worshiping the blade.

Puppy smirked dangerously.

“You have just earned yourself a last chance, go and get her if things gets difficult, I will send a helper,” he said, walking away.

Puppy rose to her feet, wiping the blood stains off her lips, her tooth already regrowing.

“Lumira just wait for me, I will bring you down this time,” she said as if making a promise.

SAME NIGHT~

“Gwad! Have never seen anything like that all my life, at first I thought Imogen was gonna lose but then boom, she shifted, like in front of everyone she fûçking shifted into a giant Wolf, dude, that’s crazy!!” Zander exclaimed, walking into the bar with Micah.

“It’s normal for shape shifters like us but her size? Nah! That’s not normal,” Micah replied.

They saw a person drinking all by himself by the corner and approached him. He had his head buried down with a liquor bottle in his hand.

“Owen,” Micah called surprised to see him there and wasted.

Zander glanced at him.

“You know him?”

“Yeah, the only mated Warrior, we call them warrior couple,” he replied.

Micah tapped Owen but got no response so he tapped him gently on his shoulder again but still no response.

Meanwhile Owen was thinking about Marran And his unborn child.

FLASHBACKS

“Owen, I think we’re gonna be a parent,” Marran said while folding the clothes on the bed.

“Really? Are you sure?” Owen asked with wide eyes, he was painting the door so he dropped his brush and sat besides her on the bed.

“Yeah,” she nodded and he hugged her, wrapped his large palms tightly around her with his head resting on her shoulder.

“We should tell the queen so your name will be removed from the least of warriors…”

“Not yet, I want to go for this one….”

“Marran, your powers will be limited cos of the baby and you might not move like before…”

“Owen please, I just wanna fight this last time, after defeating Pharaoh we can tell her and I promise to stop fîghtîng,” she persuaded, making a puppy face.

“I just don’t want you to get hurt, it’s a battle field you know,”

“I will be fine, just this once I promise,” he cupped his face, pecking his cheeks and he smiled.

“Fine, but fîght by me okay, don’t go too far,”

“Yes boss,” she salute and he laughed now folding the clothes.

“Owen, I love you,”

FLASHBACKS ENDS

Owen drank from his bottle and sniffed, tears rolling down his cheeks as he drank from his bottle again.

“I don’t think he’s ready to talk, I will get the drink and see if they will let me go see Imogen,” Zander stood up

“Alright,” Micah nodded.

“I’m right behind you,” he replied but wasn’t moving, he wanted to know why Owen was sobbing bitterly.

Zander walked out of the bar after getting the drink he came for when he heard his name, he swiftly turned to see Jericho’s coming his way so he stopped, waiting for him.

“Jericho,” he called in surprise, staring at the bag behind his back in confusion.

“What’s going on…”

“Zander, listen, I know this might sound stupid but we have to leave, once we knock out the guards on the gate we can escape from this place,” he said rushing his words.

Xander glared at him as though he has lost his damn mind.

“Knock werewolf out? Like you Jericho knock werewolf out? Just you or there another you that I don’t know about?” Zander asked

“I’m serious man! I hate it here and I want to go home!” Jericho snapped furiously.

And now Zander knew he meant business.

“Can’t you see that we don’t belong here…”

“Jericho I Know we are humans and they are animals but I like it here,” Zander interrupted.

Jericho pulled him closer by his collar

“Have you lost your senses?”

“No, look man, I have a job here now. I Know it’s just Janitor but at least I’m doing something people is appreciative of, I have a purpose here, a new life, a mark on my shoulder. All the other servant respect me here, especially since they foun out about my mark. They treat me better and Rhett and his family, Sloane is like the mom I never had and Rhett is nice too, Micah is like a brother and a friend… I mean look at all these people,” Zander said softly.

Jericho held his shoulder, shaking him violently.

“Wake up, wake up wake up….”

“I’m awake man!” He knocked Jericho’s hand off him.

“Geez Zander, what have they done to you? You’re possessed aren’t you?” Jericho asked unbelievably.

“Look man, no body possessed me, I just got a new life and I like it here, no one is mocking me for being poor and…. I don’t wanna be a cowboy who can’t afford a cow anymore, I just like it here. I’m sorry,” Zander began walking away.

“Zander…”

“I can’t go back, I don’t want to, I found love and happiness here, I will stay with this animals and if you get home send my greetings to your brother and sister, have made my decision and it’s final,” he completely walked away, leaving Jericho’s standing there.

The Shaman left his chamber, walking towards the palace when he came across Marran, he walked past her but suddenly stopped.

“Marran,” he called calmly.

she stopped instantly and looked back at him.

“Shaman,”

He walked closer and held her hand before reaching for her forehead, his eyes went shut and after a few minutes, he opened them then looked at her.

“Is there a problem?” She raised her brows.

“Your animal spirit is trying to separate from you and that’s not good,” he said.

She forced a weak smile

“I know, it just started recently but I will calm it,” she replied, her heart beating rapidly as though she feared he might discover what she’d just done.

The shaman nodded.

“Congratulations, don’t ask how I Know cos I felt it,” he walked away.

PALACE

Queen Lumira was in the throne room when the door opened and the shaman strode in.

“Her Majesty, permit me to report the dismissal of one of our Warriors, Lyla but then, she was a Mage,” the shaman said.

Queen Lumira’s eyes widened but the shock quickly disappeared the same way it appeared.

“A Mage?”

“Yes, your Majesty,” he replied and bowed in respect.

She was silent, how many more Mage are inside her walls? Is it only Lyla? The way Imogen looked at her and approached as though she wanted a fight with her too.

Wait! Is Imogen a Mage too? Are they warriors under Mage spell? This isn’t good.

“Assembly the warriors, and taste them….”

“Your Majesty, we have a problem,” Xander ran in, breathing heavily.

“One of the Humans has escaped, he knocked down four of our guards by drugging their food,” He announced.

“You should go find him at once!” The shaman ordered.

Xander nodded, turning around to leave with a cruel smirk playing on his lips when he heard the queen’s voice.

“No, I will go!” queen Lumira shocked everyone in the room.

“You what?” Xander didn’t know when the word left his mouth “you’re not going outside these walls, there are Demons lurking outside,” he added, trying to make his point clear.

She shot him a hard glare and he gulped emptiness.

“Forgive me, your Majesty,” he slightly bowed.

Queen Lumira stop before the Shaman then look at him.

“What should we do with Imogen?” He asked carefully.

“Dêâth for dêâth!” She walked away, sending out her sixth sense.

She knew if there was anyone to find Jericho before the Demons did then it was her, her finding sense is high and bam…

She sensed him running in the woods

He must get away from here, Zander might have a purpose but he doesn’t, all he got is sufferness, he’s better off as a cowboy then a dungeon rat.

“Going somewhere?” A lady asked from the shinny rock two feet from him.

he halted instantly then looked closely at her.

“Smiley,” he called shocked, how had she find him?

She shake her head sideways.

“At first I rejected you cos I was told you were my mate but thank goodness you’re not cos a king cannot be a coward….”

“I am not a coward!!” He fired back.

She chuckled.

“Then what are you? A run away?” She asked

“I’m not a run away….”

“That’s right, you weren’t running away but jogging away, a jog away?” she called him, her face masked with something he can’t seem to read.

Jericho fold his fist tightly, he didn’t like how she’s making him feel bad for trying to get back home but he had siblings damn it.

“Listen, I just wanna go home, Okay? I don’t like it here!” He yelled

“I don’t like you here either,” she replied, coming down from the Rock.

He stood his ground, watching as she approached with delicacy. The woman walks with grace, carrying herself high.

“Tell me,” she closed even the smallest distance between them.

“How about taking you home to see your siblings but once you’re done I will bring you back here and steal the memory from both side?” Her hands went to his neck, pulling it down.

“Smiley…”

“Shhh,”we she placed her finger on his lips.

“Make a decision, Lion. we can go now and come back tomorrow or I will take you home and eat you cos I’m starving…”

[REASON FOR HER PAINS]

“A fûçking snake!” Queen Lumira already wide eyes widened even more, insanely.

Like, WTF!

Jericho’s staggered without being pushed, they’d said he was the mate so what happened? Why didn’t his hand glow when he walked into the cycle? Why was it Viper?

He looked around and the satisfying smirk on Viper’s face said it all.

“So, you’re my mate,” Viper said to the queen, smiling sheepishly.

He turned around again and his gaze met with Jericho’s and he smirked, remembering what he did.

FLASHBACK~

“We can’t let her get him! We can’t!!” Puppy said, pacing Around the room in the warriors chamber.

“I Know, but you can still have another….”

“I want him, he’s the one for me, he’s the one I Love and mind you, if we let her seal their mating bond she’s going to be unstoppable and gaze what? All our hard works will be in vain!!” Puppy sneered, trying to get the words Into Vipers head.

Viper held his jaw as if considering it.

“It’s too risky,” he said after much thoughts.

“What are you?” She stopped in front of him so he looked up at her

“A pûssy? Be a man and do what you’re supposed to do!” She snapped furiously.

He scratched the back of his head.

FAST FORWARD~

Viper had the demon blade on Jericho’s chest, pulling it out he drank from it, mumbling some chants.

When he was done he glanced at Jericho before walking away.

“Is it done?” Puppy asked desperately.

She’s waiting outside and keeping watch.

“Yeah, what now?”

FLASHBACKS ENDS

“I am the new king, bow to me,” Viper spread both arms.

Queen Lumira walked out of the cycle and his brother followed.

REJECTED MATE : CHAPTER 51 – 60

PALACE

“Where are you? Come out now!” Queen Lumira said pacing around.

She’s already in the dark room.

She paced to the door and back but nothing happened.

“Come out Goddess!!!” She snarled.

Another three minutes went by and nothing happened.

“You told me it was him, did you just want me to fûçk around? Was that it? A snake! A damn fûçking snake of all animals!” She nearly screamed out her lungs.

She stopped at the center and inhaled deeply then exhaled. She didn’t want to believe it but the ritual has proven it.

It was the only way to confirm who her mate was.

She wanted a low rank shape shifter but a snake?? Who the fûçk is that! Maxima was a Lion.

REJECTED MATE : CHAPTER 51 – 60

GIRLS DOM

Violet was about Opening the door when another hand grabbed her wrist. She froze, then looked up to see Declan.

“Declan,”

“Hey, was wondering if we could grab a drink,” he said awkwardly.

“It’s close to three in the morning,” she replied softly.

He glanced at his wristwatch, letting go of her.

“Oh, maybe tomorrow?” He asked, hoping and wishing she will just say ‘yes’

He’d had a crush on her for a long time now but she just can’t look at him.

“Alright, have a good night,” she walked in

“YES!!” He jumped in excitement, walking away and dancing to his own song.

Violet got in to see Quinn still reading, she didn’t want to pick a fight so she just went to her own bed and fall on it.

Surprisingly, Quinn dropped the book she was reading and came over to her own bed. Violet was laying on her stomach with her back facing up so she cross her legs over her and began massaging her back.

“What happened out there?” She asked softly.

“Viper is the queen’s mate,” she replied

“What!!!” Quinn screamed, eyes wide.

Violet shifted her body as if to sit up and Quinn got off her.

“A snake!” Quinn’s eyes widened insanely.

“That’s how we saw it,” Violet replied with a slow nod. But her gaze was on Quinn’s lips.

“How… Is that even possible? Maxima was a Lion so why a snake now….”

“Quinn, let’s forget about them and talk about us,” Violet Interrupted, shifting closer to her.

Quinn looked at her like a joke, she lifted her hand to her chest in a hand gesture then squeezed up her face.

“Us? What do you mean us?” She asked

“Us, I mean this,” Violet peak her lips, she made to pulled away but Quinn held her neck and they looked Into each other’s eyes.

“Violet, I really like Niko and I’m feeling like a bad person for not reciprocating your feelings, I mean… You’re so nice to me and all that but I don’t think I can stop Liking Niko,” Quinn explained softly.

Violet caressed her cheeks with tenderness, still staring Into her eyes.

“Then you can date him, I don’t mind,” She slammed her lips on hers. Quinn wrapped her arms around her neck and Violet pulled her closer by her waist.

“Have been craving for you for so long,” Violet said breathlessly, deepening the kiss as she yanked Quinn’s clothes off her.

“Wait…. Wait… Wait!” Quinn disengage from her kiss “we are not having sêx are we?” She asked.

“Oh, I em… Uhh…. If you don’t want want,”

“Was kidding,” she chuckled.

In the next scene they were both naked in bed, laying on both their side. Violet had her finger going in and out of Quinn who’s close to her release.

The door suddenly burst open and….

“Quinn?!” Niko’s voice came through the door.

NEXT MORNING

Xander drank from the bottle in front of him then lowered his head.

He has been drinking all night long and right now he’s head is in a mess.

“Why can’t it just be me?” He smacked his chest bitterly “I waited all these years, doing everything to please her, so why?” He drank from the liquor bottles again.

“I was there before Maxima, She used to say she like me but once Maxima came she stopped being nice to me and when he dîêd she started opening up to me even though it’s a little bit, then human came and she Changed again and now Viper, a damn fûçking snake!” He mumbled under his breath, tears slid down his eyes but he didn’t bother to wipe them.

“I think I need that too,” A voice said, walking in through the door.

Niko took the liquor from him then drank it all.

“Goddess is not being nice to us,” he lamented.

“I Know right, but what’s your deal?” Xander asked drunkenly, resting his right hand on Niko’s shoulder.

“I caught Quinn and Violet making out,” he replied.

Xander hissed, waving a dismissive hand over his hand.

“Old story, come up with something new,” he mumbled, taking another liquor bottle.

“Do you like Quinn then?”

“I dunno”

“Goddess is cruel to me,” Xander mumbled, drinking from his liquor bottle.

REJECTED MATE : CHAPTER 51 – 60

2 HOURS LATER~ THRONE ROOM

“Her Majesty, he deserves dêâth, he’s a traitor to this kingdom,” Prince Jaspers said, his voice menacing.

“Her Majesty I think we should call the shaman to confirm,” Hawk objected.

“What’s the need of a shaman when we all know what he did?” Viper spoke up.

He’s currently standing right beside the queen on her throne, shoulders held high.

“I think Viper is right, he might be working for Obiden and the more we wait the more danger it is to us,” Puppy suggested

“Shut up Puppy, you’re not allowed to speak cos you’re not one of us so k of your place!” Prince Jasper rasped.

Puppy swallowed hard.

“My apologies, my Prince….”

“Just shut it!!!” Prince Jasper shot her a hard glare.

She nodded and held her mouth.

“Her Majesty, I think I will agree on Hawk this time, though I saw him yesterday laying almost lifelessly, stabbed in his heart but I don’t think a human who just came into our kingdom knows a thing about the demon blade,” Imogen said from where she’s standing.

“I stabbed him,” Viper said almost immediately.

Every looked at him.

“Yesterday, we had a fight. After I caught him, he wanted to do away with me but I fought him that’s how I ended up stabbing him and running for my life,” he explained, sympathetically.

“Lemme get one thing straight,” Imogen came closer.

“There is nothing to get straight other than he’s a traitor and should be slaughtered,” viper interrupted almost immediately.

“I think we should find out how he got the knowledge of the blade and how he was able to defeat the guard and took it,” Hawk said.

They all looked at the queen who wasn’t saying a thing through out the entire argument.

“I agree with Hawk, Hawk get the Shaman and tell him to meet me in the dungeon,” Queen Lumira went down her throne and they all exchange glances.

Immediately Hawk shifted to a bird, flying out of the open window.

She went into her inner chamber and they began leaving.

Outside they met Lyla and Asher just coming towards the palace.

“Is the meeting over already?” Asher asked, staring from one person to another.

“Slût,” Lyla winked at Imogen.

“What did you just call me?” Imogen stepped forward.

“You kissed the other human last night, deny it,” Lyla dared, taking four steps closer.

Imogen shifted her gaze to the side only to behold Prince Jaspers hard gaze, she swallowed nothing and made to walk away but Lyla grabbed her arm.

Without full force, Imogen shoved her, so hard she staggered back but didn’t fall, With a sudden burst of speed, Lyla charged forward, her claws aimed for Imogen’s throat. Imogen dodged the attack, and the two collided in a blur of fur and fangs shifting to their wolves form.

The sound of their snarling filled the clearing, as they grappled for dominance.

Lyla’s teeth snapped at Imogen’s neck, but she managed to twist away at the last moment. Imogen’s claws raked across Lyla’s side, leaving bloody streaks in their wake.

Lyla let out a howl of pain and rage, and renewed her attack with even greater ferocity.

The two wolves rolled across the ground, their limbs tangling together in a blur of motion.They two struggled on, their bodies coated in dirt and sweat.

Lyla’s breath came in heavy gasps, and Imogen’s muscles were beginning to tire. But neither wolf was willing to give in.

If not anything, Imogen wanted to disfigure her.

With a mighty heave, Lyla threw Imogen off of her, sending her sprawling across the ground.

Imogen scrambled to her feet almost immediately, blood dripping from her muzzle. She looked at Lyla, her eyes burning with a steely resolve.

The two wolves circled each other once more and at this moment Lyla was done.

With a roar, Imogen pounced, her jaws clamping down on Lyla’s neck. Lyla let out a yelp of pain, but she was not done yet. She twisted and turned, trying to throw Imogen off but Imogen held on, her grip like a vice. Then, with a sudden jolt, she ripped away the flesh on Lyla’s shoulder.

Blood flowed freely like a stream with Lyla’s flesh stuck in her claws.

“Cut!!” Prince Jasper shouted.

Lyla and Imogen locked eyes, none making an attempt to back down.

“I said cut it out! It’s an order!!” He roared.

Imogen was the first to shift back Into her human form, now standing naked. Lyla shifted back too.

“This isn’t over,” Lyla snarled.

“Lyla!!” Prince Jasper called with a warning tone.

She ignores him.

“I challenge you to a drew, today, sundown,” Lyla barked, stepping towards Imogen.

Prince Jasper grabbed her hard but Imogen shook it off.

“Bring it on!!”

REJECTED MATE : CHAPTER 51 – 60

A LITTLE WHILE ~ DUNGEON

Jericho sat huddled in the corner of the dungeon, his body bruised and aching from the bêâting he had endured.

As he looked around the dungeon, he could see nothing but shadows, and the only sound was the drip of water from the ceiling.

He shivered in the cold, and tried to wrap his arms around himself for warmth, but it was no use.

All he could feel was the pain, and the weight of his despair. But still, that didn’t match up to the pain in his heart.

He felt a familiar presence and looked around in panic, had they come to finish him off?

At first he saw a silhouette and then a fireball in someone palm, the whole room lit up.

“Smiley,” he called surprised that she’d come to see him.

Queen Lumira was silent, just staring at him. Outside the dungeon was Puppy her handmaid waiting for her.

“Get up!” Her voice was cold, as though she felt nothing at all.

Jericho’s glanced up at her.

With the light coming from her palm he was able to see her face clearly in the dark.

“I can’t, I body hurts,” he replied, lowering his head.

Jericho had a crack on the iron door and he saw a guy walked in. The light coming from the queens palm doubled.

Who was this guy?

He knew it, he should have known she was of evil and was gonna kîll him anyway.

“Took you so long to discover how evil I can be,” she said, shifting back a little bit

He looked at her, fûçk! She could read his thoughts?

The guy came forward and held Jericho’s forehead, then close his eyes in concentration.

It’s actually the shaman and Jericho has never seen him. The other time they met, Jericho was blind.

“Is he clear?” Queen Lumira asked.

“I don’t feel any dark magic,” the shaman replied

“And….. I feel rage,” he opened his eyes.

“His animal spirit is furious, you need to call him into his animal,” he added.

“Will do that tomorrow,”

The shaman nodded and left.

She glanced at Jericho.

“They will come get you once I’m out,” She uttered and reached for him but he slip away, shifting to another side.

She raised her brows but said nothing, queen Lumira tried reaching for him again but Jericho moved away, her hand met the air.

“What are you doing?”

“I don’t wanna get healed, so don’t try,” he said emotionally

Why does she always have to heal his wounds, she keeps acting like she cares but she doesn’t actually care.

“Okay,”

just one word, was her reply and she the turned, heading towards the door. Was she fûçking kidding him?

“Smiley,” he called just when she was about to cross the door.

She paused then turn to look at him.

“Have you ever, even the smallest in the slightest way, just for a tiny second LIKE ME,” he asked, watching her closely as if to read her reactions.

She disappointed him by keeping a blank expression.

“No, there is no reason for that,” She replied

Jericho close his eyes, that hurts his feelings, does the lady not care?

“Back there… In your room the other day, I saw it! Loneliness. you want people around you but you’re just afraid…..”

“I fear nothing!!!” She interrupted.

He snorts

“I saw it, no one else might have seen it but I did. Is it because you kîllêd him? Prince Maxima?” He asked boldly.

He’s gonna get back at her by using her dead husband.

“I did not kîll Maxima!” Queen Lumira said, trying her possible best to keep calm, good heavens he was getting on her nerves and she doesn’t like it.

“Then who did? If you didn’t kîll Maxima who kîllêd him?…”

She titled her head.

“So you think this is what I want for myself?” She walked back inside “Do you know how many centuries I had to sleep alone, wake up alone, crave for companionship? you think I want to have the weight of this whole kingdom on my shoulders alone? You think I want to receive and review thousands Royal invitations alone? You think I wanted to put myself in this pain that is ripping my head off? you think I want to make all the decisions alone, shut myself out, become bitter, not go out by day, not being touched or touch anyone romantically. you think I want all this? Do you know how hard it was to watch him dîê?” She asked all in one word. Her lips trembling, her hands shaking but she fought to keep her stand.

“I tried, I warned him but he wouldn’t listen, okay? He fûçking made me do it and then what?” She sucks in breath.

“My demons, those jealous creatures tear him apart right before my own eyes and I couldn’t do a thing, for….. For six hundred….” She sucks in another breath, her whole body visibly shaking.

She stopped talking, she’d already spoken more than she should and right now she’s fighting for control.

Jericho was silent, many thoughts running through his mind…

Why did her Demons kîll Maxima? What does she mean by he asked her to? What did he ask her to do? What did she warn him against? What where they doing? What did he do? Why was her demons jealous? Why didn’t she do anything? Those questions ran through his mind but he had no answer to them.

“Smiley,” he reached for her but she vanish into thin air.

“Fûçk!!” He cursed, running his hand over his hair.

“Pretty boy, it’s me Viper,” Viper spoke from outside the iron bar.

[WHEN FATE CLASHED]

“Shut up, Asher! we have been discovered so it’s best we do away with her,” Lyla barked furiously.

Her hatred wasn’t for Imogen alone but the entire Therians as a whole.

“They might be searching for her by now that’s all I’m saying,” Asher argued.

“Just shut up!” Lyla snapped, shooting him an angry glare.

“Imogen! Imogen!!!” They heard Prince Jaspers voice.

They both exchange glances and Lyla let go of the sword stuck on Imogen’s chest, she pushed her back to Asher, making him hold her so she won’t fall.

“What now?!” He asked desperately.

“Take care of her while I take care of the prince and others,” she said.

Asher nodded, he pulled Imogen by a corner and glanced at her wounds.

“Damn this will take time, I should take you to the healer,” he mumbled.

Meanwhile, Jasper ran up to Lyla who pretended to have hurt her ankle.

“Lyla,” he called.

“Fûçk! my ankle!” She cried out “help me, someone should help me up I can’t move,” pleaded desperately.

Jasper glanced back, just then, Xander and other joined them.

“Thank the goddess, Xander help her while I go look for Imogen,” Jasper ordered, trying to run past her but Lyla gripped his arm forcing him to look at her.

“What?”

“She left, I saw her went back home, I was coming to inform you guys when I get attacked by dreadens, I managed to fought them off but one of them bite me so hard i lost my balance and Injure my ankle,” She said faking pain.

They all exchange glances.

“If Imogen is home then we should all return,” Niko suggested.

REJECTED MATE : CHAPTER 31 – 40

THRONE ROOM

Chants of celebration followed the warriors as they returned to their kingdom. Jasper was in front with Alpha Pharaoh’s head in his hand.

It was already past 4 but the noise woke those sleeping up while some didn’t wake up.

“Your Majesty,” Jasper bowed slightly as he reached inside the sack he was holding, he pulled out Pharaoh’s head by his hair, presenting it to the queen who sant gallantly on her throne.

A dark Sinister smirk lingered on her lips instantly.

“You know what to do with it,” she said casually and he nodded.

“Of course,”

She began walking into her inner chamber, but Suddenly she paused and glanced back at them.

First her gaze met with Xander and Niko, Violet, Owen, Marran, Lyla, Asher, Declan and one by one she ran her gaze through them before staring at Jasper.

“Why are my warriors not complete,” she demanded.

“We lost Hazel and Imogen went slaying,” Jasper replied and slightly bowed again.

Without another word, she walked out completely.

REJECTED MATE : CHAPTER 31 – 40

GIRLS DOM

“You’re back!” Quinn gushed immediately she saw Violet.

Violet glanced at her surprised at the sudden change but said nothing.

“Come, I will take care of you just the way you always takes care of me,” Quinn smiles, going behind her back she placed both hands on her shoulder and began pushing her into the bathroom.

“How many dîêd from the peak?” She asked

“We conquered and over take,” Violet replied, she dropped her sword and then reached for her armor, Quinn helped her took it off but then gasped.

“Why isn’t your wound healing?” She asked while staring at the wound but Violet was busy staring at her lips.

It was tiny yet looks tempting, not too pinkish but enough to drive her insane.

“Violet,” Quinn called, nudging her.

She blinked twice.

“Huh?”

“Why isn’t your wound healing?” Quinn asked again and looked at her face.

“I think it’s black magic, the shaman can tell…” She closed her mouth and gulped emptiness.

Quinn ran her hand through the surface of her wound, gently and calmly.

“I feel it’s deep….hmmm,” Violet cupped her face, smashing her lips on hers in a hot hungry kiss.

Shocked, Quinn didn’t move nor response, she was still for 5 minutes before trying to pushed Violet away but her grip was tight.

She continued kissing her fiercely, devouring her lips like it was her favorite treat till Quinn opened her mouth and she thrust her tongue in.

“Hm…” Quinn let out a moan. And gradually she returned the kiss, it was gently but sweet.

As if coming back to her sense Quinn pushed her away, their mouth making a pup sound as it parted.

“What was that? Why would you do that?” Quinn demanded instantly.

“I tried to keep it down but failed,” Violet replied softly.

“Keep what down? Why exactly did you do that?” She shouted furiously.

Violet looked her in the eyes, taking a deep breath. It’s now or never, she can’t keep dying in silence.

“Why…”

“I like you, let’s date. I want to kiss you more often and make love to you,” Violet replied in a low sweet voice.

Quinn scoffed.

“You’re sick, Stay away from me,” she left the room.

REJECTED MATE : CHAPTER 31 – 40

QUEENS CHAMBER

Zander and Micah dropped Jericho on the couch, as instructed by the shaman.

“We should go?” Micah said softly.

Zander glanced at Jericho and then back at him.

“You sure he will be fine,” Zander asked concerned and Micah nodded.

“I hope so,” he tapped Zander gently on the shoulder.

“Just go already you’re annoying me,” Jericho suddenly shouted at them.

MEANWHILE

The queen is currently In the throne room with the Shaman.

“Sleep with him? You want me to sleep with a Human?” Queen Lumira bellowed.

The shaman stood his ground.

“That’s the only way to set him free,” he replied calmly.

“A human, he brought it upon himself so he should face it!” She stood from her throne.

“Your majesty, it’s been 600 years since after Maxima’s death, and you have live without a mate. you can’t keep up like this, your powers are getting weak, you need to renew yourself and fill your energy back again and he’s the only one that can make that happen. Without you the great walls of this kingdom will crumble and if it crumble Obiden and his demon armies will fed on us and there will be no one left to protect the demon blade, he will stêâl it and Satanian will gain freedom. And that will bring destruction to humans and you don’t want that to happen,” The Shaman explained.

“Don’t you dare preach to me!” The queen snarled, shooting dagger at him with her eyes.

She pace back and forth, snapping her finger but they weren’t making a sound.

“It’s for the kingdom, clean him and call him into his animal,” The Shaman said softly.

“Animal?” She shoot him a glance.

“He has been marked, I don’t know why the goddess did it but you have to call him into his animal, he’s a demon slayer,” The shaman replied carefully.

The queen said nothing as she returned to her throne and sat down.

“You’re dismissed,” she told him and the Shaman nodded, he slightly bowed before walking out of the throne room.

Immediately he left Queen Lumira went down her throne and began pacing around. The thought of sleeping with a human Is enough to make her sick.

“A human! A damn pathetic human!” She said out loud “Why does it has to be a human?” She asked herself.

REJECTED MATE : CHAPTER 31 – 40

NEXT MORNING

Prince Jasper opened his door only to see Imogen laying naked on his door step, he lowered himself to the ground and scooped her into his arms, taking her Inside.

“Jasper,” she whispered

“Hmm,”

She smiled with her eyes still closed.

Whenever they go slaying it means to waste all, they are totally out of control. They can only get back together when the rage within dîêd down and currently now Imogen’s rage is gone or maybe slowed down.

Slowly Imogen opened her eyes and smiled at him but he didn’t return the smile, that broke her heart.

By the time he reached his bed chamber, a girl was laying down there.

“Who is she?” She asked and looked up at his face.

Jasper dropped her on the couch pretending not to have heard her.

“Who is she…”

“I owe you no explanation, so just accept my sympathy,” he cut her off.

She laughed like a maniac.

“I told you I wanted to be yours, why do you keep fûçking around when you have me?” She asked and stood to her feet but swagged and fall back.

Jasper totally ignored her, he tapped the sleeping girl and she woke up so he threw her dress at her.

“Get lost!” He ordered.

Without another word the low rank shape shifter took her clothes and scurried out of the room.

Imogen ran her hand through her hair, hot tears came lingering at the corner of her eyes but she fought them back.

“Why? Why are you doing this to me? Why are you making me jealous? Just why? Can’t you just love me till you find your mate?” She asked, all the tears she has been fighting back came rolling down her cheeks.

“I’m not doing this again,” Jasper mumbled and walked past her, she kept standing there till he left the room.

Imogen dropped to the couch dejectedly.

“Why can’t he just love me?” She mumbled to herself.

A hand offered her napkin and she took it without looking up at the person, suddenly, she glanced up but frowned at who she saw.

“You’re crying?” Zander asked.

He was in his janitor dress.

She sniffed, wiping her tears with her thumbs.

“No, I’m not,” she replied and sniffed again.

“You are,”

“I said I’m not,” she snapped and he chuckled.

A minute of silence passed without them saying a word to each other and then she looked at him.

“Why do I feel incomplete?” She asked casually.

Zander narrowed his gaze at her, slowly, he sat besides her since he was still standing.

“I feel as though I’m forgetting something important, like a part of me is missing, inside me I feel rage, furry, pain, lost but yet I can’t grasped why?” She looked at him but it was short cos she looked away almost immediately.

“I heard someone dîêd on the battle field, Hazel!” He uttered sympathetically.

“Hazel? My sister? No!” She rushed out of the room.

“Imogen, wait!!” Zander ran after her only to met two enemies glaring at each other.

Lyla has a devilish smirk on her face and Imogen wasn’t left out, they both stood staring at each other like predictors, as though they’re sworn enemies.

THAT EVENING

Queen Lumira was in her garden as usual, but this time she wasn’t attending to flowers. She was surrounded by her demons and she seemed to be having a good time.

Suddenly, she noticed a presence and with a lightening speed, they disappeared, living just her.

“My queen,” Xander called, walking up to her.

She glanced at him without saying a word so he walked over and pointed at the chair next to her, she nodded and he settled down.

He dropped the poker box on the table in front of them and she smirked.

“Mind if we have a good time alone?” He asked seductively.

“And if I win?” She asked, staring him in the eyes.

Xander was silent for a little while, he glanced at her then down at the card, contemplating what to say next.

“You guys are playing poker without me,” Jasper joined the table.

“I heard Poker, I can play too,” Jericho’s voice came from the entrance.

They all looked his way and Xander burst out laughing.

“Pathetic,” he mumbled before speaking out loud “with what eyes?” He asked mockingly.

Jericho gritted his teeth but said nothing,

“Puppy get him out of here!” Xander ordered

Puppy gave a low nod as she held his arm, taking him inside.

“I told you but you didn’t listen,” she said softly.

“I wanted to see the queen not him,” Jericho replied

At the mention of ‘queen’ puppy rolled her eyes

“Soon there will be no queen and you will be mine,” she thought silently as she led him inside.

Suddenly, Lumira got up coursing Jasper and Xander to exchange glances.

“I have a visitor,” she walked away.

Xander kept staring at her as she walks

Why can’t she just look at him different? She only notice him when he doesn’t have her in mind but whenever he’s craving for her she never shows interest.

He thought silently, his mind ran to Jericho and a deep frown appeared on his face.

that crazy idiot. He’s sure going to deal with him.

Lumira went into her Inner chamber and began pacing around, waiting for her visitor, she felt a presence….

“You did this didn’t you? Why? Why are you bent on ruining my life, just why?” She asked all in one word.

If only she could touch this person she’s speaking with then she would have slapped Sense Into her head cos right now, the furry inside her can burn a soul.

“It is destiny, I was only helping you….”

“I don’t need your damn help! Blinding him won’t change my mind about him. Have told you I don’t want him and will never acknowledge him…” She thrilled off, feeling a strong desire to be touched, pleasured, her whole body vibrating with needs as she fought for control.

“Stop it” she yelled, clutching her legs tightly.

The unseen being laughed.

“You do what I say….”

“Not this time, not with human!” She fired back, leaning to the wall and breathing through her mouth.

Her nîpplês harden, her clît twitching, her wetness thrilling down her thighs. the desire blocked all her sense of reasons and all she could think of is to be pleasured.

Suddenly, she threw a fireball at the unknown being, but it turned to smoke, disappearing into tin air.

The person’s eyes snapped.

“Lumira!!!” The unseen being called with a warning.

“Stop this!!” she barked and was about to slam her head against the wall again when she felt the suddenly headache.

The desire dêâd down but was replaced with the same headache she has felt for years, this time twice the normal one and she was forced to her knees, both hands clutching her head tightly as blood oozed out of her nose and ears

“How dare you!” The unseen being roared

As her voice grow so does the pain, the thing crawling out from her head was tearing her apart and she can’t even scream, she has known pain but this exact one is a graduate with torturing degree.

Lumira began crawling out of the room, trying to get away from this person who has tortured her for milliners but no matter how she tried she just wasn’t moving.

Her powers are nothing to this person.

“G…. goddess….pl…. please stop,” she stuttered, her blood spilling through her nose and the headache double.

Suddenly, the door burst open and Jericho stood in the hallway with his blindness.

“Hello!” His voice echoed in the dark room.

Zander who’s behind him glanced at him then over his shoulder into the room but couldn’t see a thing or anyone.

“Jericho there is no one here,” Zander said and held his hand, trying to take him away but Jericho gently released his hold.

“Someone is here, I can feel the connection…”

“What are you? Are WiFi? there is no one here!!” Zander scolded, cutting him off.

He wanted to walk away but the same voice he has always heard, the one that took him to the cave growled. “MINE”

“Help me,” he heard that same voice he loathe but still can’t ignore.

“Did you hear that?” He turned to Zander.

“Someone with eyes is telling you that there is no one here and you’re saying shît, do you even have eyes?” Zander scolded.

Jericho ignored him and went into the room, slamming the door shut, he locked it

“Jericho!!”

“Open this door!”

He ignored him, he was curious, he wanted to know who was in here and why Zander didn’t see anyone.

Jericho glanced around the room, he couldn’t see a thing but he could feel it, having no other options he decided to call out to whoever it was.

“Smiley,” he called, still standing close to the door. He felt movement and took two steps forward, cautious not to fall.

“Smiley, are you in here?” He asked, but all he got was silence.

Okay now he’s beginning to freak out, he took the same step backwards and tried opening the door but it was closed, it was as though he has been sealed inside a bottle.

“Okay, Jericho be a man…. But this place is weird,” he mumbled to himself and turned, taking five steps Into the room but felt something cold on his feet.

He jumped

“Shît! Snake! Snake!!! Snake!!!”

“Shît!!!”

“Shît!!” He jumped to the other side frightened.

“Fûçk! Jericho it can’t be a snake!” He told himself, breathing heavily with his hand resting on his chest.

After a few minutes of rest he began crawling around, searching with his hands.

That scent. he touched a human face but couldn’t quite make out who it was.

His leg kicked something and he turned, searching for whatever it was till he got it and… it was round, like a ring… No, a crown! It was a crown and only one person… he quickly turn over to the body again.

“Smiley?!”

“Help me,”

“Drag him there,” Xander ordered

Owen, Marran, and Niko glanced towards the door to see him there.

Owen did as told, he dragged Jericho by his arm till they got to the dungeon and then pushed him there.

Niko pushed Zander in.

SAME NIGHT

Queen Lumira is seen walking out of her chamber into the village, besides her was Puppy her handmaid.

Around her were her demons, one in front of her, one behind her, and two on each side.

The only thing anyone who looked upon her could see was a glowing light in the form of a tiger.

With each step she took, it spelled doom, woman and children ran into the house and slammed the door while some peeped from their windows.

The lower-rank shifters flew out of sight.

She didn’t seem to care cos her face was focused and serious.

Even though she has a veil covering her face which is attached to the golden crown on her head, they all could tell that she wasn’t a merciful queen.

As she walked past, those that ran came back out.

“She always gives me chills,” A woman said.

“She’s alluring,” another added

“Maybe she slays her mate to keep being young and beautiful,” a guy mumbled.

“Have never seen her by day,” another woman pointed out.

“No one has seen her by day,” the first guy replied.

“Maybe it’s the curse? Beauty and the Beast…”

“Gossiping about your queen,” they all heard Puppy’s voice and lowered their heads.

“Forgive us, my lady?” They said at once, with their head down.

Puppy’s gaze met with the guy who talked about her late mate and also called her a beast then she smirked.

“I will show you what a beast looks like,” she mumbled.

Before they could know what was happening, the guy’s boxes went down and Puppy already had his dîçk in hand, and then….. She cut it

“Aggghhhhhhhh!!!!” He screamed agonizingly.

Others held their breath fearfully, pain and sorrow crossed their faces. They shifted backward.

“Speak about your queen next time,” Puppy walked away.

The guy was already rolling on the ground as he clasped his hands over his manhood, screaming in pain.

Lumira was staring at the walls when puppy returned.

“Those people talk too much, why is that?” Queen Lumira asked, not turning to look at her.

In a kingdom in the west, a man sat upon a throne of bones, his eyes glowing red in the darkness.

The walls of his chamber were carved with images of torture and suffering, and the air was thick with the stench of decay and rot.

“Where is Vult?” He stepped down from his throne.

His servants were hideous creatures, half-human and half-beast, their claws dripping with blood.

As the Obiden surveyed his domain, a low growl escaped from his lips, his fangs glistening in the torchlight.

There was no beauty or comfort here, only cruelty and despair.

“Lumira, your slayers dared take down Vult, I shall make you suffer but that’s after you have a child for me,” he held his jaw in thought.

“Master…”

“Speak,”

“The Queen’s curse has been lifted,” his wizard delivered.

“By whom?”

“A HUMAN!”

NEXT MORNING~~FEMALE DOM

The demon’s slayer was getting ready for training, but Violet didn’t move.

She kept staring at Quinn who hadn’t said a word to her since after dinner.

Quinn went down the bed and began dressing, she threw on a jersey and spot trouser before packing her hair in a ponytail.

She sat in front of the mirror, applying makeup and when she was done Violet glanced at her.

“Pink lipgloss looks better than red,” she said softly but Quinn totally ignored her.

She began walking away but Violet gripped her wrist, pulling her back.

“Why are you avoiding me?” She asked but Quinn’s wiggled free. She made to walk away but Violet held her arm.

“Quinn….”

“This is exactly why? You keep making me feel little. Because of you, everyone thinks I’m weak and incompetent,” she shouted.

“Quinn, I told you before that Lyla is not someone you can take up against….”

“Lemme worry about that myself,” she began walking away but Violet held her back.

“Quinn you can’t…” Before Violet could finish, she punched her mouth, bursting her lips.

Violet quickly let go of her as she touched her bleeding lips.

“See, I can take care of myself,” Quinn walked away.

DUNGEON

A chilled water was poured on Jericho, forcing him to regain consciousness.

“Wake up sleeping beauty,” a male voice said.

Zander couldn’t sleep, not even a wink. His eyelids were heavy but he refused to let them close.

There was no way he was gonna sleep with those spiders crawling around him.

“Hey, come out and help sleeping beauty up,” the voice said again.

Zander held Jericho by his left arm and the person held his right. They walked out of the dungeon, welcoming the beautiful sky.

Both men shielded their eyes but Zander was trying to adjust to the light, after being in darkness all through the night it was something new to his eyes again.

They were led to the kitchen where men and women seemed to be busy.

“You must be…..” The middle-aged man paused, twitching his eyes

“I’m Zander and He’s Jericho,” Zander did the introduction.

“Oh, good, Jericho I heard how you fûçked a melon, Micah take him to the healer…”

“No, I will be fine,” Jericho said through gritting teeth.

“Are you sure? Your cøçk might have been…”

“I just said I’m fine,” he cut the man off rudely again.

Zander glared at the man and smiled.

“He’s not always like this, you see we were taken forcefully and his two siblings were left behind,” Zander explained.

“Oh, I see where his rage is coming from,” The man mumbled.

“Hey, you two must be the humans? I’m Sloane and he’s my mate or husband like you humans call it,” a woman walked out through the backdoor.

“I’m Rhett,” the aged man added.

“Come, I will show you guys your duty post but first you need a warm bath and a meal. Micah take them inside while I prepare something for them,” Sloane said

QUEENS CHAMBER

Sloane was done setting the dining and she walked over to the Queen bedchamber.

“Her majesty, Please come out for breakfast,” she said in the most calm voice ever.

The front door opened and she looked back to see Jasper then she bowed.

“His Royal Highness,”

“Sloane, I told you countless times already, I don’t like that title, just call me Jasper,” he said with a smile.

“I’m afraid, I can’t. My Royal vow won’t let me,”

Jasper smiles.

Even though his sister was chosen instead of him, Jasper didn’t fight it.

Lumira was the only woman chosen by the sun goddess and blessed by the moon goddess, she held great power within her. She was holding the great walls protecting them from demons and without her radiants, they are all powerless and can easily be slaughtered by Obiden and his demon army.

She was the last of her kind, for centuries they have gone far and near, searching for her kind but none was found.

He fears her own demons will kîll him even before Obiden’s demons can get to him. So the best thing to do is follow her lead.

He was about to go into her bedchamber when Puppy came out and quickly bowed.

“My Prince,”

Queen Lumira sat at the table with Jasper as Sloane served their meal.

“Her majesty, do you think you can reconsider about the human,” Sloane said softly while pouring a tea in her mug.

“They tortured one of them, forcing him to use Watermelon as …… if you know what I’m saying,” she looked at him.

“You’re kidding right?” Jasper’s eyes widened, getting a clue

“So what? He’s Human and they are so good with fûçking around,” Lumira chipped in.

Jasper and Sloane glanced at her as she dropped her cutlery and stood. She didn’t even touch her meal.

She went into her bedchamber.

Imogen stood there, unable to move. She must have been there for five minutes or more cos the door opened again and Jasper came out.

He didn’t even act as though he saw her and began walking away.

“Jasper!!” She called

He halted instantly and turned to her.

“Why? Why are you still fûçking around when I told you we can be sêx buddies until you find your mate? It really hurts seeing you with different girls,” she said with watering eyes.

“And who are you? My wolf?” He asked harshly.

She kept quiet.

“We are shape shifters, and right now I’m a man with needs, until I find my mate I still have the right to play around so deal with it,” he began walking away.

Imogen didn’t know when tears slid down her cheeks.

“Jasper, I love you, I really do….”

“Tell that to the moon goddess, oh, I heard my sister can communicate with her so go tell that to the queen, maybe she can help you out,” He walked away completely.

Jericho, Zander, and Micah are seen scrubbing off blood stains at the back of the building walls.

Micah and Zander were busy but Jericho was staring at the building which was different from there’s, it was the tallest and most magnificent.

Like a castle.

Micah seemed to notice cos he left his side and went over to Jericho.

“That’s the palace,” Micah said, startling him.

“W… what?”

“The building you’re staring at is the palace, low-rank shifters like us can’t go near. Only the warriors can,” he replied

Zander and Jericho exchange glances.

“Warriors??” They both asked at the same time.

“Yeah, the demon slayers, the one protecting us from demons and going to war,” he replied with great enthusiasm.

“Who stays there? Like a king or something?” Jericho asked curiously.

“Nah, it’s a queen… Sorry I can’t go into details,” Micah made a sad face

That got Jericho’s attention cos he stopped scrubbing and dropped his sponge on the ground, turning his full attention to Micah.

“Is there something you’re not telling us?” He asked.

Micah glared from Zander to Jericho.

In his eyes they could see fear and panic, it was as though he remembered something terrifying like a nightmare. His heart beat double.

“I can’t speak of her, the walls have ears and… No, I’m sorry,” he took his scrubbing equipment and scurried off.

Zander glared at Jericho after he left.

“Do you think there is more to it?” Zander asked.

“Don’t think too much about it,”

Even though Jericho didn’t want to think about it, the thought refused to leave his mind.

Who was this queen everyone was afraid to speak of?

He’d asked a few other servants and even Sloane but none said a word about her. It was as though they were terrified at the mention of her name and that alone took his sleep away.

The door cracked slightly open and Jericho peeped, when he saw no one. He took off the slipper given to him and began tiptoeing out of the small room he shared with Zander and Micah.

He successfully crossed the guards.

He’d actually come back to examine during the day and he knows that there will be no guards around the walls.

In the next scene, Jericho is seen climbing the walls of the magnificent building, he’s a cowboy so it’s easy for him.

Jumping down, he found himself In a garden, it was so beautiful as though it wasn’t real. almost dreamlike moment, the sky was a soft grey canvas, the clouds overhead shifting and swirling like a watercolor painting.

The light was gentle and diffused, casting everything in a soft, muted palette. Flowers swayed gently in the breeze, their bright colors a striking contrast to the serene landscape.

The air was heavy with the sweet scent of flowers and freshly turned earth, the peace and quiet interrupted only by the rustling of leaves and the soft sigh of the wind.

It was as if time itself had slowed, allowing for this quiet, perfect moment to unfold.

It’s where nature’s beauty feels both delicate and powerful at once.

By his left, he could hear giggles and roars. Jericho swung his gaze to the side only to behind the most shocking scene he’d ever seen.

A girl or should he say a lady, she as bathing… No, she wasn’t bathing but she was playing around with some… Is that tigers?

What the fûçk is she doing with tigers? Not even one but four, is she out of her damn mind? Those animals will devour her and she’s laughing, she thought it’s funny?

Wait…. It wasn’t a tiger… No! Maybe it was… Hell no! It wasn’t… No! It was… Well, whatever!

They were actually tigers formed by lightning and popularly known as her DEMONS.

He watched as she took off but she wasn’t fast enough cos of them ran in between her legs and she fell, still laughing.

Two was sniffing and licking her all over, she seemed to be enjoying it cos she couldn’t stop giggling.

The fourth one limped forward and Jericho’s eyes widened.

That animal is gonna eat her, he knew it. He took off his jacket, planning to cover her with it since she was stank naked.

By now those animals surrounded her on the ground and she didn’t fight no push them off, Jericho watched one of them shift away,

Jericho’s eyes widened when it turned into a man… no, not a man but lightening… no, he had legs and hands… spirit? No… smoke? Wtf! Is this some kinda magic shît?

He had legs and hands and she wasn’t freaking moving, was she insane?

Three tigers were still in their form, but that particular one was now coming In between her legs and….

“Yaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!” Jericho let out a horrific screamed before he could realize and then…

[THE GIRL IN THE CAVE]

She senses his cautious footsteps as he crosses the threshold of the hidden Cavern and reaches out with her sixth sense, following him as he steps down the Narrow stare cut into the sandstone, his fingers trailing along an ancient wall carved with symbols, their meanings lost to time.

how strange it was after her long Solitude to feel his presence here like a light at the bottom of the dark sea. She reached as far as she could to see if he could notice her but then she wondered…

who is he? how did he find this place? Is just a boy a moment in time that will soon pass? She has known a thousand and one like him and will know a thousand and one more.

He is nothing she told herself, so she will not hope for him. She is not allowed to hope and she’s forbidden to use her powers on her own wish.

She will not show how Madly, Deeply, desperately she wants the boy to release her of this accuracy Darkness, instead she folds and unfolds, waiting with faded breath.

Her sixth sense is blurred like watching fish swim in a ribbling pool and she must concentrate very hard to see him at all.

He carried a small torch which he holds up as he stares into the great Cavern, truly there was no Cave at all, but a vast echoing haul once part of a great Palace lost long ago to war and time now, it lies deep in the desert, one ruin among many, buried beneath layers of sand and Memories columns.

This place is haunted by ghosts and she was one of them. The boy holds up his torch and it shines brightly into her eyes but he flinched back upon seeing her.

She looked like one in her twenties so he thought she was young.

“Who are you?” He asked, taking a step forward and staring cautiously at her.

“Help me,” It was just at the tip of her lips to spit it out but she was forbidden to ask for favor of any kind.

After what seemed like forever, he dropped the backpack on his bag to the floor and pulled out a hammer from it.

“I don’t know who you are or where you’re from but promise me that you won’t hurt or attack me once I set you free from this cage,” he said holding up the hammer.

Her body was bruised, her lips dry, her legs reddish but she was forbidden to sit.

“I promise,” she mumbled.

“Who would lock a girl in here? Some people are just heartless,” he mumbled, hammering the padlocks holding the cage.

It has been held with strong magic and an ordinary boy like him can’t open it, he was hitting it with a regular hammer when only magic can set her free.

“I will take you to the hospital after this and we will report whoever kept you locked up in here, how evil can humans be,” he said as he continued hitting the padlocks.

It didn’t even look like someone was trying to break them so she put her hand in the way and he hit her fingers, blood oozed out.

After a little moment, he gently opened the iron cage.

“Who locked you here?” He asked But a string of sand trickles onto his shoulder from the ceiling, he brushes it away and steps aside but it begins to fall all around him.

the floor slides jewels rattling and rolling, and he stumbles

“What’s happening,” he asks breathlessly as he climbs to his feet,

“These ruins are old, the magic that fills them has been released, no point in blending the truth but if you wish for your life then run,”

“You’re coming right? Cos there is no way I’m leaving here without you,” he grabbed her hand instantly.

Stubborn human!

fruit crashes to the ground, the air is filled with the sound of breaking glass and roaring wind, he slides down the hill and sprints through the grass, branches reach for him trying to capture his arms and neck but she pulls them away with her talents shadow hands, reach from the stream and grab his ankles. She beat them away with her wings.

The city was crumbling and he didn’t seem to be fast enough, she led him over and around the piles of Treasure through arches made of glittering sand.

The exit was not far and the walls were crashing on them with great speed, she knew that no matter how fast he was, they could never make it to the exit.

To her dismay, he scooped her off her feet, flinging her out of the cave like a football as the cave collapsed on him.

Shocked at his reaction, she threw an invisible rope at him, it caught his leg and she pulled.

He landed on the floor, breathing heavily while watching the cave crumble till it was swallowed by the earth.

“Damn girl, that was close,” he breathed, shifting his head to look at her.

“Who are you exactly? And who and what locked you in there? And why were you calling me?” He asked, staring at her.

“I appreciate your kindness in helping me, here is a little token, I hope it’s useful to you,” she opened her palm, scratched it toward him

In her hand was soul-stone, glittering like a diamond.

“Oh my goodness!” He picked it up, weighing it side by side as if it wasn’t real.

“How and where did you get this? What’s your name?” He asked, still staring at the stone.

“Lumira,” she replied

He looked up after serval minutes of checking out the stone but she was gone so she looked around in panic.

“Lumira!”

“Lumira where are you?

“Lumira!!!!” He screamed.

SOMEWHERE IN ATLANTA

“Get your f**king âss off that damn bed, Jericho! Have you lost your damn mind?” A hand slapped the person sleeping on the bed and mumbling some names which was Lumira!

“Lumira, where is she? Where is Lumira?” A guy of about 28 years yelled as he jerked up from his sleep, sitting up on the bed. He looked around.

Six eyes peered at him, staring at him as though he was out of his mind.

“What’s the time? How long have I been sleeping?” He asked no one in particular.

“Last night,” His younger brother (Brin) replied.

“Who is Lumira?” His younger sister (Aria) asked

“Dude, you need to see a doctor,” the first guy that shouted at him which is his best buddy (Zander) said.

Without uttering a word, Jericho rushed to his backpack and searched through it.

They all exchange glances.

A light sparkled around the room and he looked at them with wide eyes.

“Soulstone, no way!” Aria rushed to the living room, scattering all the books on the small old worn-out bookshelf, and then she saw it. History book.

She rushed back into the room and this time, Brin was checking the stone out while Jericho and Zander watched him. He passed the stone to Zander who held his breath.

“Good thing I have been studying, we are rich Jericho! We are super rich!” She scrolled through the pages, stopping at the particular place the stone was drawn.

“Soulstone has only been held by the queen of shapeshifters, LUMIRA….”

“Did you say Lumira?” He asked shocked.

He’s not one to believe in fiction or fairy tails but if she was a queen then why was she locked up? Oh, he was dreaming, right? But why did the stone appear here?

“Yes, Lumira! The most powerful of them all. she’s ruthless, a beast with no mercy, she was cursed 600 years ago for slaying her mate Prince Maxima….”

“Aria wait, Jericho how did you get the stone?” Zander asked curiously.

“This girl in my dream, she gave it to me after I helped her escape this cave that looked beautiful yet old….”

“And she said her name was Lumira?” Aria asked and he nodded.

“It could be her…”

“Are you high Aria? Are you f**king saying that Jericho met an ancient in his dreams?” Zander scolded.

Brin began giggling.

“Man it’s just a dream,” Zander tapped his shoulder.

“But it felt so real….”

“Fictional, there is no such thing, it’s just a made-up lie,” Zander tapped his shoulder and they left the room together.

His name is Jericho Deamon, 28, and jobless, he dropped out of college at twenty so he could work and pay his father’s debt and also pay his mother’s hospital bill but she died during surgery.

Since then he hasn’t been able to get a good job, Zander his best buddy is also an orphan and is 27 and also jobless.

Brin and Aria are his siblings whom he’s trying so hard to provide for, but it’s too hard so they moved from the main city to the countryside and he’s now a cowboy.

LAND OF FLOWERS~IN THE TIME OF MAGIC

There stood a beautiful and diverse realm, filled with forests, mountains, rivers, and oceans.

Meanwhile, inside the room, the crashing sound of the golden marble floor could be heard.

A feminine figure, whose face is hidden behind Veil stands before another figure who can’t be seen only the voice can be heard.

Looks like they are conversing.

“A Human! A worthless human! I waited all these years for you to bless me with a human!” She roared, her voice sending the flower vase crashing to the ground.

“It is destiny….”

“Destiny be damned!” She spats furiously, her eyes glowing with lightning which threatens to strike whoever she is speaking with down.

“I will rewrite my destiny….”

Her words were interrupted with laughter, the unseen being laughed so loud, her voice echoing around the room.

“Goddess…”

“The only thing you can do is to kîll him just the way you kîllêd your late mate,” the other person replied.

The queen sent a lightening towards her enraged, but it turned to smoke, disappearing in thin air.

“I did not kîll Maxima,” she yelled furiously.

The person left her position, cycling around the queen, and then spoke.

“You brought this upon yourself Lumira, however, the curse has been lifted and you need to find the human and bond with him to be completely free…”

“Never!!! I will never lower myself before any human, I rather choose the lowest demon slayer as my mate than a worthless human,” she rasped.

Laughter filled the air once more.

“I will find him and I will end him….”

“If he dîe by your hand, this time around I will make you suffer pain so unimaginable that even death will reject you,” was the last thing she heard till the figure disappeared.

A heavy wind blew in the room, opening all the windows and doors that were locked.

“A human!” She mumbled to herself. Pacing around the room.

“I waited this long for a weak, pathetic human!” she said to herself.

The door swung open and she didn’t bother to look back, her handmaid (Puppy) ran in.

“My queen…”

“A human!”

“A human?” Puppy was confused.

“The curse has been lifted by a human,” she completed her words.

Her handmaid’s eyes widened.

“That’s good news, my queen…”

“It’s no good news! bring me Xander!” she began walking out of her inner chamber, her handmaid hurrying behind her.

“He went hunting, my queen,” puppy said

Lumira stopped and looked at her, after staring longingly for a few minutes she began walking away.

“Send a message to my brother through the bird, there shall be no Human captive, ban all human traders, and slay all human prisoners!”

” My queen,”

“I shall never lower myself before any human!!!”

CHAPTER 21 & 22

“Noooo!!!!” Genny’s scream hit directly into Thane’s eardrum and he paused.

Indigo turned and looked at him.

“What’s wrong?” She asked but Thane said nothing.

*That’s Genny’s voice,sounds like she’s in danger* Thorne said to Thane and he scoffed.

*Not like I care* He replied.

*Me too,why should I save someone who called me a monster?* Thorne scoffed and went quiet.

Thane continue walking again and Indigo raised her brows but she didn’t utter a word,she just followed him.

Back in Kymani’s room,Genny was in tears and Kymani’s fangs almost in her neck,he was totally out of control,his eyes bloody red.

All of a sudden the door opened and Odessa entered,he pushed Kymani away from Genny. Kymani faced her with a glare and,he used his eyes to control one of the furnitures in the room and threw it at Odessa.

Genny screamed in fear as the table almost slammed on Odessa but she punched the table right in the center and it broke into pieces.

“You bastard!” Odessa yelled and jumped up high,throwing a heavy kick right on Kymani’s neck, he fell roughly on the floor,passing out right away.

Genny gulped in shock,Odessa grabbed her hand and dragged her out of the room,she released her hand outside but Genny kept following her,she was still shaking in fear.

“I guess you know who the real monster is now” Odessa said without looking at her.

Genny bit her lip and wiped her tears,Odessa got her water.

“Thanks” She muttered and drank everything at once.

“I’m sorry for saying that,I hope you forgive me” Genny said.

“I’m good now,if I was mad I wouldn’t save you from him,you should have learnt your lesson” Odessa said.

“I’m sorry” Genny mumbled.

“Like I said,I’m good now. You’re someone I like from the moment I saw you,,I don’t want to dislike you for no reason,but don’t mess with my brother,He’s the only one I’ve got,I don’t joke with him. And also,you should be careful before taking some decisions,or you won’t last here,not everyone smiling at you loves you” Odessa said.

“I understand” Genny said.

“Good”

“Thane….Is still mad at me..what should I do?” Genny asked.

“I don’t know,do it your own way” Odessa replied and Genny twitches her lips.

“See you around” Odessa said before walking away.

Genny groaned and roughed her hair.

“What do I do?” She asked herself and started walking.

NIGHT, SAGE AND BEORN’S ROOM*

Sage came into the room and met Beorn still sleeping,he was hoping he would wake up and they go to eat dinner together.

He walked over to his bed and bent,he gently touched his leg and exhaled out in relief to see that the swollenness already gone.

Beorn opened his eyes and let out a smile.

“Don’t tell me you’re worried about me” He said and sat up,Sage also joined him on the bed.

“I feel guilty,it was my suggestion to…….”

“Why are you talking like you forced me? And besides I’m all good now” Beorn said looked at the window.

“It’s quite late….”

“It’s time for dinner,can you walk to….”

“Stop it,I can walk of course” Beorn snapped and Sage chuckled.

“Why are you getting worked up over it? I’m just worried,like you want me to” he said in a teasing voice.

“Don’t hype yourself up just because you choose to be kind this time around” Beorn scoffed and left the bed to get dressed.

“Where were you before? I woke up once and you weren’t in the room” Beorn said.

“I just…went to get fresh air,it was boring” Sage replied and Beorn faced him with a smile.

“Let’s go”

Sage moved closer to him and touched his forehead to feel his temperature.

“I said I’m fine” Beorn muttered.

“Thank goodness” Sage sighed.

Beorn smiled at him when he didn’t drop his hand.

“Are you just going to keep staring at my face? I know I’m handsome” Beorn said.

Sage pushed his chest and he laughed.

They both walked out of the room after that.

NEXT MORNING, THANE’S QUARTERS*

Thane just finished dressing up when he heard a knock on the door which made him turn.

“Come in”

The door opened and a guard came in,Thane was expecting Orion but he suddenly remembered that he gave him a free day because Odessa kept asking if they can hang out together.

“Your highness” The guard bowed and moved closer to hand over a piece of paper to him.

“What’s this?”

“A girl dropped it and said I should deliver it to you” The guard replied.

Thane took it from him and the guard left after being released by Thane.

Thane slowly opened the wrapped paper,it’s a letter::

Dear Thane,

I was wrong to lash out at you, and I’m truly sorry for my mistakes. You’ve always been there for me, and I repaid that kindness with hurtful words. I promise to do better in the future and to appreciate you more, Please forgive me and let’s move forward together.

P.S. I’ll try to be less of a handful, but no promises – you know I can’t resist pushing your buttons sometimes.

Thane chuckled at the P.S .

“Thank goodness she knows she’s a whole handful and can’t stop pushing my buttons,so annoying” He scoffed and dropped the paper somewhere.

*Are you going to accept that?* Thorne asked.

*Odessa said she regrets what she said* Thane replied.

*What,are you still angry?* Thane asked when Thorne didn’t say a word again.

*I can’t wait for our mate to finally appear,I won’t leave her for a minute* Thorne said,ignoring Thane’s question.

Thane smiled.

“Me too” He mumbled.

After spending another minute in the room,he went out. As he walked out of his quarters,his eyes fell on Genny somewhere,like she was staring but she immediately turned and walked away when he caught him.

“Don’t turn into a stalker” He chuckled and went his own way.

“Gosh,,,he saw me” Genny slapped her head and took her lips in.

She turned again and found him gone.

“Maybe he didn’t” She sighed.

“Genny” She heard Kymani’s voice and her heart skipped a beat,she turned and saw him standing with pleasing eyes and guilt.

“I know I made you scared,but trust me it wasn’t my intention..I just kind of…starve myself all day and ended up losing control,I’m sorry,I would never hurt you,trust me” Kymani apologized.

“Its…..it’s….okay,I’m fine,…I understand” Genny said gently.

“Are we still friends?” Kymani asked.

Genny said nothing.

“I’m sorry,I have a class” She mumbled and walked away

Kymani sighed and roughed his hair.

EVENING, WOLVES PACK~THE PALACE*

The door to Alpha Raven’s chamber opened and Ravenna entered,she’s the most powerful seer and witch in the pack. She was wearing a red robe,flowing on the floor along with her butt length hair,her lips also painted with deep red color,she’s a beautiful lady.

She walked somehow closer and stood in front of the alpha.

“Good evening,Alpha” She bowed low.

Alpha Raven simply replied with a nod and gave her a sign to sit down.

“Thank you Alpha” Ravenna said and sat down.

“You know the reason why I called for you” Alpha Raven said.

“Yes alpha and I won’t waste your time” Ravenna replied which made the alpha nod.

“Alpha….I’m afraid the prince might never get to meet his soulmate” Ravenna said.

Alpha Raven sighed and sat down properly.

“You know why your majesty,,it’s possible you might be the last one to get on the throne in your lineage” Ravenna said.

“I have a son,why would I be the last one?” Alpha asked.

“You know about the curse your majesty,I’m afraid that’s the cause of the prince’s misfortune” Ravenna replied and the door opened.

The Luna,Liyana walked in with her dress screaming luxury and authority.

“What do you mean by misfortune?” She sounded angry.

“Liya,,,you’re not to interrupt……”

“She just called my son misfortunate just because of a mate!!” She yelled at the alpha and he sighed.

Ravnenna smiled and stood up.

“Your highness” She bowed for the Luna.

“What was that statement of yours about?” She snapped.

“Your highness,I’m sure the alpha have a better answer to that….”

“Ravenna,leave” Alpha Raven said.

“What is she talking about?” Liyana faced the alpha.

“The prince might not be able to get a soulmate” Ravenna replied.

“Your majesty!!! The prince is here!!!” They heard that announcer and almost immediately the door opened,Thane entered.

“Oh…his highness is here” Ravenna smiled.

“Is that true?” He asked his father.

Silence followed.

“Why are you so quiet? I heard everything you’ve been saying,it’s obvious everyone knows about it and I’m the only one in the dark,is it really true I am cursed and I would never have a mate? Is it true?!!!” He yelled angrily.

“Son….” His mother touched him.

“Don’t touch me” Thane snapped her hand off,his eyes on the alpha.

“That’s right” Alpha Raven finally said.

“Raven!” Liyana shouted.

“I should tell him since he’s curious to know” The alpha said and Thane shook his head.

“And you choose to hide it from me?? Silly me waiting senselessly……”

“But it’s not permanent,,I heard the moon goddess might choose to change her mind later on and…..”

“Change her mind for what exactly? What’s the curse about? I’m very sure this is not even about me,I can’t remember doing anything to deserve that silly curse you’re talking,what did you do father” Thane asked.

“Son…..you can’t question him that……”

“What do you mean by I can’t question him?!! If his past mistake is going to mess with my life I have every right to question him,he might be the alpha but he’s also my father and I deserve an answer!!” Thane snapped and his mother was quiet.

“Thane….listen,this isn’t what you think. Like your mother said,the moon goddess might…”

“Fuck the moon goddess,I don’t need any damn mate anymore from her” Thane muttered and stormed out of the chamber.

“I will rather take my leave” Ravenna bowed and walked out,she could hear the voice of the Luna and the alpha.

She smiled knowingly and vanished,she reappared in Thane’s suite,inside his bedroom.

Thane turned and faced her immediately he felt her presence.

“What are you doing here?” He asked.

Ravenna walked closer.

“Are you sure you don’t want a mate anymore?” She asked.

“None of your business,get lost” Thane said.

“The reason behind the curse,don’t you want to know?” Ravenna asked.

“And what is that supposed to mean?” Thane glared.

“You’re the future alpha of this pack,it’s possible to rule without a Luna,but it might be difficult to get that position also,,the curse is as big as that” Ravenna said.

“And what is it about?! What fucking curse!”

“Ask the alpha,he knows better” Ravenna said.

“Tell me if you know!” Thane shouted.

“Did he tell you??” Ravenna asked.

“What?”

“You’re not destined to any girl at all because of his …….”

The door opened loudly and the alpha entered looking angrily,he sped over to Ravenna and grabbed her neck.

“What do you think you’re doing?!!” He growled.

“Your son requested for an answer” Ravenna replied and coughed.

“Get lost” The alpha ordered and she left.

“Father….what was that? Why are you so angry because I want to know the truth… ”

“There’s no truth anywhere!!! Forget about it!” The alpha yelled.

“How can I forget about it if it’s affecting me this badly!! What did I do wrong to deserve that!!!” Thane shouted back.

“Are you blaming me…..”

“You’re acting like you’re hiding something father,like I said I won’t forgive anyone involved if I find out the reason why” Thane threatened and stormed out of the room,bumping into his mother.

“Son..it’s late,you can’t return to the….”

“Don’t act like you care when all you do is lie to me my whole life” Thane muttered and left without turning back.

All the guards shifted back in a hurry as he showed up,they could sense the anger all over him. Their heads remained bow until he went far.

He approached the woods,the longest path that leads to school,he needed enough time to vent his anger out before he get back to school.

Thane’s body began to contort and shift, his muscles bulging as he transformed into his wolf form. His fur stood on end, a thick coat of gray and black that seemed to bristle with his anger. He let out a mighty roar, the sound echoing through the woods like a thunderclap.

As he ran, his paws pounded the earth, sending shockwaves through the forest floor. Birds took flight, squawking in terror as they fled from the enraged wolf. Small animals scurried for cover, their tiny hearts racing with fear.

Thorne’s growls were a constant, menacing rumble, a warning to any creature in his path to get out of his way. His eyes blazed with a fierce intensity, his teeth bared in a snarl. He was a force of nature, unstoppable and wild.

As he ran, the woods grew quieter, the only sound the pounding of his paws and the occasional snapping of a branch.

RAVENWOOD HIGHSCHOOL*

Odessa got down from the car with Orion,they just returned back from their outing.

“I can feel my brother’s anger” Odessa said worriedly.

“Anger?” Orion asked with wide eyes and Odessa nodded.

They both appeared in front of Thane’s quarter.

“The prince is not in school” One of the guards told them.

“Not in school?” Orion asked and they nodded.

Odessa tried connecting their link.

*Thane??*

*Can you hear me??*

“He won’t talk to me” She looked at Orion who already have a worried look on his face.

“But he’s fine,I can feel his…..” She touched her chest.

“His heartbeats…..fast…..I think he’s running” She muttered and Orion sighed out.

THANE’S QUARTERS*

“Why are you looking so nervous?” Odessa asked Genny who kept looking at the door.

“I’m scared….what if he gets mad that I’m here?” Genny asked.

“I just want to train you here because I’m waiting for you,he will understand” Odessa replied and Genny sighed.

Orion came to join them.

“So in conclusion,after analyzing all your abilities….it’s obvious that you have both abilities of a wolf and also a seer” Odessa said and Genny’s eyes widened.

“I’m a….wolf?”

Odessa nodded.

“Then,why am I not feeling anything yet?” Genny asked.

“Soon…it won’t happen suddenly,,,until the full moon rises” Odessa replied.

“What will happen during full moon?” Genny asked curiously.

“Your first shift” Odessa replied and Genny gulped.

“First…first shift?”

“Yeah,but you need to prepare yourself…first shift is horrible,painful and agonizing” Odessa said.

“You don’t have to scare her that way” Orion said and Genny’s heart beat increases.

“I’m just telling her what to expect,,in that aspect,after your first shift,you gain all your powers as a wolf and can at least do some of the things I do,but not all…because I’m not just a wolf” Odessa said and Genny looked at her.

“Huh? Not just?? Then…what else?” She asked.

“As you can see,my brother and possess alot of powers,Orion too. But for my brother,He’s a mixture of many….some he doesn’t even know yet,He’s yet to unleach most of his other forms” Odessa explained.

“Oh”

“But for you,…you’re a seer too,that doesn’t need training,you see what you’re supposed to see. As for the wolf part,I will give you enough books to read about us..the full moon,the first shift,and every other abilities that comes with it..like your super strength,super hearing,speed,mate and others” Odessa said.

“Mate?”

“Yeah,every wolf have a mate,why are you asking me when you know?” Odessa chuckled.

“If your mate is in this place,you will know once you become one”

“So what about you two?” Genny asked.

“Don’t worry about me,I don’t think I need one anyway” Odessa said.

“What do you mean? It’s obvious he’s not in the same pack,why not wait for the Full moon Festival? I’m hoping to meet mine by then too” Orion said and Odessa gulped,she bit her bottom lip and Genny saw that.

“I…see” Odessa mumbled.

“Wait,,it’s raining and Thane is not back” Odessa said.

“It’s been raining a lot these days…..” Just as Orion was saying that,the door opened and an angry looking Thane entered,looking wet from the rain.

“Thane!” Odessa called and rushed to him.

“Leave…let’s talk tomorrow” He said.

“But you don’t look well….”

“Leave Odessa,I’m not in the Mood….you too Orion,everyone,go” He said icely and walked toward his room.

Odessa and Orion exchanged glances.

“Let’s go….”

They walked to the door and turned back when Genny didn’t follow.

“What’s wrong?” Odessa asked.

“I will leave later,you can go” Genny said.

“You can see he’s angry,he won’t like it if you disturb him” Orion said and Genny shook her head.

“Don’t worry about me” She muttered.

“Let’s go Orion” Odessa said and they both walked out.

Genny moved closer to the bedroom door,she could hear him throwing things loudly,sounds of glasses breaking.

She got the courage to open the door,it was just as she imagined,the room was upside down,everything on the floor,broken glasses and bottles on the floor,his eyes sparkling with anger. Thane paused and looked at her.

“What are you doing here? What” He asked.

“I’m just…..worried….you’re angry” Genny mumbled.

“So what?” Thane’s voice came out deeper.

“I want to…..make you calm and……”

“Who do you think you are to calm me down?!!” Thane growled and she flinched.

“Ouch!” She yelped.

“Get out” Thane said.

She ignored her leg and moved closer.

“What do you think you’re doing?! I said get lost!!” Thane grabbed her neck and slammed her back against the wall. His claws came out all at once and his eyes color change,he was breathing out angrily.

Genny coughed out,slapping his hand to let her go.

“I warned you,I warned you!! Do you take me for granted?!! How dare you!!” Thane shouted.

Genny raised his hand,finding her way to his hair.

“Don’t touch me…don’t……” He stopped the moment Genny started patting his hair,her eyes red from his strangling.

She continue patting his hair,stroking them,like a puppy would love it.

Thane slowly released her neck and she coughed out.

“What was that?” Thane asked.

“Calming you down” Genny replied,she went on her toes again and continue patting him.

“I’m not a dog……”

“You’re a cute wolf” Genny said.

“Calling me cute is annoying,do you want to see the scary part of me? I’m not cute” Thane said and she smiled.

“You’re cute,I don’t care whatever you say” She said and continue patting his hair,and slowly his claws went back in,his eyes became normal.

CHAPTERS 11 & 12

Thane dropped Genny at once and she immediately bowed.

“Thank you so much” She said.

Thane rolled his eyes and turned away,returning back to his quarters,Genny blinked,staring at his back as he walked away.

“Thane! Thane!” Indigo ran after him.

Genny sighed and packed her things on the ground before running off to class.

“Thane listen to me!” Indigo called and grabbed his hand as he entered into his bedroom,she followed him,forgetting to close the door.

“Who said you can touch me!!” Thane yelled.

“But you carried another girl!” Indigo shouted.

Thane sighed and run his fingers through his hair,but the second he remembered carrying Genny in his arms,he took off his jacket,then his shirt.

“Get out” He said to Indigo who was already drooling while staring at his chest.

“Do you take pleasure in seducing me and then chasing me away? I understand you’re a wolf and you need to be with your mate,but can’t we just have some fun before she appears? I’m fucking dying to have you,you make me feel crazy and horny every time,call me crazy but that’s exactly how I feel” Indigo said and rushed to him like she would eat him raw.

“Are you crazy?! What the……….” She pulled his back against the wall and smashed her lips on his own.

Thane tried pushing her away but couldn’t,she was already holding him down with her powers.

“Then kill me” Indigo muttered and Thane gave her a killer look.

“You can’t do that right? You can choose to relax,the spell will wave off in ten minutes time” She said and fell before him.

Indigo removed his belt and got hold of his dick.

“Don’t!!!” Thane yelled.

“Why did I see that? Why!” She cried out and finally stopped running,she was breathing heavily and sat down on a public space bench near her.

She opened her palm to see the ear ring she wanted to return to him,it must have hooked on her hair when her hair hit his face earlier.

She tried to picture his face again and she bite her nails.

“He was enjoying it….isn’t that what they call…..” She complete it in her head and roughed her hair.

“Are they dating? Is she his mate?….okay Genevieve why are you so concerned? Why?!” She screamed.

“Genevieve?” Someone called her and she looked up.

“Oh…Atticus” She mumbled.

“Master Casen want you In his office,do you know the way there??” He asked.

“Yeah thanks”

Atticus left her there and walked away,She stood up and also left.

MASTER CASEN’S OFFICE*

Genny knocked on the door before going in,Master Casen flashed her a cold smile.

“Good day master” Genny bowed.

“Have your seat” Master Casen said and she did.

“Do you know why I called you here?” He asked.

Genny shook her head.

“You were reported to me by your trainers” Master Casen said and Genny gulped.

“I was told you still seem to be confused even after two days of training,compared to others,is that right? You don’t know what to do or think?”

“Honestly……I don’t think….I can get used to this place” Genny muttered and bite her lips.

“Why? You think you don’t fit in?”

Genny nodded.

“It’s normal feeling that way,but trust me,this is the best decision your parents made” Master Casen muttered and started writing on a piece of paper,after he was done,he handed it over to her.

“That’s the list of our top students,think about it and pick anyone you would like to choose as your private trainer,come back to me after making a decision” He said.

Genny stared at the list in her hand.

1. Orion
2. Kymani
3. Odessa
4. Indigo
5. Zarek

“You can go now”

Genny got up and bowed before walking out of the office,she kept staring at the list.

“Why is…Thane not there?” She mumbled.

“Ohhh,what’s that?” Kymani suddenly crossed her path.

Genny rolled her eyes at him and faced another direction,he followed her and snapped the paper from her hand.

“Hey!! Stop it!!!” Genny screamed and Kymani could feel a sudden breeze blow his hair,he turned back and met Genny’s angry eyes glaring at him.

“Wow…..who made you mad?” He asked with a smile.

“Give me that” Genny said calmly.

“I just wanna take a look” Kymani smiled and checked out the list.

“I’m fully available” he said.

“I don’t want you” Genny snapped and took it from him.

“Why? Shouldn’t you pick the best among the people on that list?” Kymani asked and they started walking together.

“According to this list,you’re not the top person…..”

“Orion can’t beat me……I don’t know why everyone think he’s more powerful,and besides Orion can’t have time for you” Kymani said and Genny looked at him.

“Why?”

“Because he’s always busy watching over the arrogant prince” Kymani replied.

“Are you any better?” Genny rolled her eyes.

“I’m the right choice,that’s what I’m saying,Odessa probably won’t have your time,Indigo can’t either”

“Thanks for your explanation,let’s part ways here” Genny said icely and walked away.

Kymani stopped walking,staring at her as she left.

“She’s pretty” Zarek said beside him.

“Wanna have a taste of her too?” He asked again.

“Shut up,I will do it if I want to” Kymani rolled his eyes and started walking,Zarek chuckled and followed him.

ODESSA AND INDIGO’S ROOM*

Odessa was laying on the bed,arranging her clothes,she was controlling them with her eyes while munching on some sour candy.

The door opened and Indigo entered,Odessa’s eyes followed her as she came in,her face glowing,obviously something good happened. She said nothing to Odessa and started pulling off her clothes.

“I can smell my brother on you,what did you do this time?” Odessa say up on the bed.

“What do you think I’ve done?” Indigo looked at her.

“I can’t tell” Odessa replied and Indigo chuckled.

“Do you really want to listen?” She asked.

“Yeah” Odessa mumbled.

“Ask him yourself” Indigo smiled and stripped naked completely. She walked to the mirror,checking herself out.

“Fucking sexy” She uttered.

Odessa shook her head and chuckled,she fell back on the bed and continued what she was doing.

“That girl….what does she want?” Indigo asked.

“Which girl?”

“Is it Genny?”

“What about her?” Odessa looked at her.

“She fell and made Thane save her…then she came into his room,how did she even know where his quarters is?” Indigo scoffed.

“Are you worried?” Odessa asked,she sat up again.

“I believe my brother’s mate would show up soon…..”

“Don’t be delusional Odessa….you and I know it won’t happen” Indigo faced her with a smirk and Odessa gulped.

“I guess you haven’t told him yet” Indigo smiled.

“Stop it Indigo…maybe we heard wrong you know? I mean…He’s the future alpha,he needs a Luna…..”

“I can become that” Indigo said.

“You’re not a wolf,get that straight,you’re just a witch…..”

Indigo teleported to her with a frown on her face.

“A Luna need to be someone capable,brave,powerful,queen like…and I have all that,it’s not a must to be a wolf,all I need is his bite on my neck and sex to bond” She said and went into the bathroom.

Odessa sighed out.

“I really want to go out” Beorn muttered,staring out of the window.

“The weather is so cool,I wish I can go out of here” He added.

“You should quit the long story and go” Sage replied from his bed.

“Let’s go together” Beorn faced him.

“Together?” Sage asked and Beorn nodded.

“Now??”

Beorn almost replied when they heard a knock on tbe door. Sage got up and went to open.

“Hi” Astrid waved with a smile.

“What is it?” Sage asked.

“Is Beorn in?” She asked.

Sage rolled his eyes and closed the door.

“Who’s that?” Beorn asked.

“Go check by yourself” Sage muttered and sat down.

Beorn went to the door and opened,Astrid immediately smiled.

“Oh….hi” Beorn returned the smile.

“I was wondering if you wanna go out with me,we still have few hours before the training” Astrid said.

“Sorry but maybe next time,not today” Beorn said softly.

“When? I want to know” Astrid mumbled.

“Tomorrow?”

“Great!” Astrid grinned and waved at him before walking away,Beorn closed the door.

“Why did you tell her that?” Sage asked without raising his head.

“Weren’t we supposed to go out together?” Boern looked at him.

“You should have followed her,she might start thinking silly if she see us going out after you rejected her,you know everyone here never stopped watching us……….”

“Am I supposed to start thinking about what other students thinks? What exactly do you want? You get mad if I hang out too much with others and now you want me to go with her……..”

“So you rejected her because of me?” Sage looked up.

“What are you talking about? I told her no because we were planing to do something together,am I supposed to ditch you for her?” Beorn asked.

“Actually,I wasn’t planning to go with you” Sage muttered.

Beorn sighed and fell on his bed.

“Now I really wish we are dating like everyone thinks,you’re even giving me headache more than a girl” He mumbled and closed his eyes.

“Wake me up when it’s time for training,if you still like me,you seem to hate me these days” He added and Sage scoffed.

EVENING, GENNY’S ROOM*

“Genny!!!” Ondine and Juna rushed in excitedly and Genny looked up from her bed.

“What’s up?” She asked.

“Here!!!” They both showed her the book in their hands and she raised her brows.

“What’s that?”

“Master said we can join class B from tomorrow!!!!” They screamed at once and Genny gasped.

“Wow!! Congratulations!” She screamed and jumped down from the bed,hugging them both at a time.

“I’m so happy,this is my dream! This means we are doing well!” Juna jumped.

“I’m so happy for you guys” Genny chuckled.

They all sat down.

“How about you? Have you decided yet? Which one are you Picking” Ondine asked.

“Zarek is a No..Kymani is also a No..Indigo,a big no…you can choose between Orion and Odessa” Juna said.

Genny sighed.

“I wish Thane would be the one” She mumbled.

“I know,it would have been nice if Thane can train you privately,but….Thane have never accepted to train anyone,you won’t be any different,so just choose between those two” Ondine said.

“I will go for Odessa,,,I should go and tell her” Genny got up.

“It’s training period right now,so you won’t see her” Juna said.

“Shouldn’t you join too? You’re now in B” Genny said.

“Master said we can start from tomorrow” Ondine smiled and Genny nodded.

TRAINING ARENA*

All rank B students were already present waiting for A and their masters.

“So this is how we are going to wait for them every time?” Maren asked,looking fed up.

“You know they are full of themselves,obviously” Astrid said.

Just then,Odessa and Indigo walked in.

“You mean we are going to start training with these things?” Indigo asked loudly.

“Things?” Astrid asked,glaring at her.

“You want to do something?” Indigo asked,sitting down in all her pride.

“You can’t just call us things,we aren’t useless here” Ophelia said.

“Should I repeat what I said and let’s see if you’re useless or not?” Indigo smiled.

“Hey you bitch!” Astrid made to rush to her.

Indigo opened her palm and a ball of fire appeared on it.

“You might want to have a taste of it” She grinned wickedly.

“Leave it Astrid” Maren said and Ophelia held Astrid back.

“Were you always this trashy?” Sage suddenly asked from the back and all eyes fell on him,everyone quiet.

“Who talked?” Indigo asked.

Sage walked closer to her.

“You want to see my handsome face badly?” He asked.

Beorn and Odessa chuckled.

Indigo scoffed and stood up.

“Stop it Indigo,we are here to train” Odessa pulled her back.

Kymani and Zarek came in minutes later then their masters all arrived.

“What about Thane and Orion?” Master Nyx asked.

“I can go and call Thane” Indigo said.

“Never mind,He’s not coming” Odessa said,already unsheathing the sword in her hand and Indigo rolled her eyes.

The training session took about an hour and everyone started leaving.

“Odessa” Master Caren called her back and she returned to him.

“Genny choose you to be her personal trainer” He said.

“Oh….okay” she smiled.

“You don’t mind right?”

“Of course not,I will be happy to help. Tell someone to call her to meet me in the old library” She said before leaving.

NIGHT, LIBRARY*

Genny was alone in the library,she was busy reading the books Odessa gave her to read that she didn’t even notice it was already late,until she suddenly heard the rain falling.

Genny sprang up and checked the time.

“Fuck!” She cursed and closed the books,she kept them safe somewhere before running out of the library,the rain haven’t gotten heavy yet but the wall from here back to her room is quite some distance.

She started running,to know that it was really late already,the institute lights were already turned off.

“Oh no” She muttered,it was all quiet,not seeing a single student.

All of a sudden four strange beings appeared in front of her and Genny screamed in fear.

They surrounded her,opening mouths like they are hungry,Genny gulped when she saw the horns in their heads.

‘De….mons’ she said inwardly.

One of them grabbed her by the neck making her struggle for breath.

“No…..” Genny cried,tears rolling down her eyes,she couldn’t even speak,he was draining her energy.

The demon released her neck and was about sinking his claws into her tummy.

Genny screamed out the only name in her blank head with the remaining energy left inside her.

“Thane!!!!!!!!”

A loud thunder struck as soon as she called him,she just realized that the one holding her already released her.

Thane appeared in third midst and immediately they bowed.

“Your…..highness”

“How dare you!!!!” Thane roared,his eyes red like flames of fire.

He didn’t move from where he was…..the ground opened wide and sank deep inside on one side,sign of fire coming from inside and the heat was even coming out,though the rain was still falling.

Genny gulped in total shock.

‘What is he?’ She asked inwardly,her eyes on Thane.

“Throw yourself inside” Thane ordered and immediately the demons jumped In one after the other,she could hear them growling loudly inside.

Thane closed the ground back and his eyes met with Genny’s own,coldly.

“Thank you” Genny mumbled in tears,but Thane’s cold glare didn’t soften.

Genny started walking over to him.

“Don’t come close” Thane said.

Genny continue walking to him,weakly,signs of the demon’s grip on her neck,it was so red and has few cuts too.

“I said don’t come close!” Thane yelled.

Genny stopped in front of him.

“Don’t you….want something…in return again?” She stuttered,her body shaking with cold.

Thane looked at her and suddenly she did the least expected,she grabbed his collar and pulled him down to her height before slamming her lips on his own,kissing him gently.

Thane blinked,in shock. He didn’t move or kiss her back.

Her lips stopped moving and her eyes went shut,she lost her consciousness.

She was almost falling,Thane held her by the waist and pulled her back to himself,their bodies collided,under the rain.

Genny opened her eyes again and their eyes locked,she saw his eyes glowing in purple and her heart beats raced.

“Pretty…….eyes” She smiled and then lost her consciousness again.

Thane carried her in a bridal style,his eyes on her face. Her head dropped backward and her long hair loosen from it’s bun,Thane continue staring at her face,not minding the rain beating them both.

His eyes fell on her boobs which could be seen through her blouse because of the wetness from the rain,he gulped.

*She’s so hot* Thorne(Thane’s wolf) said naughtily.

“What is she??” Thane mumbled.

But then it happened,her secret was exposed,all the days of keeping them came to an end and she found herself in a strange land where she might have to live for the rest of her life.

For she’s different,that’s her place,not among the humans. Even though she never got along with anyone in school,she was the timid and weak girl everyone makes fun of,still she loved going to school everyday. And now she have to leave that life,to face her reality.

Sometimes what seems to be our fate and reality might end up not being the true reality.

That’s exactly what it’s like,in Genny Douglas’ case.

CHAPTERS 1 & 2

TWO MONTHS AGO, DOUGLAS’ HOUSE*

Genevieve entered her room with pretty smile on her face,she closed the door and twisted around with a little dance,her long black hair flowing along with the breeze coming in through the window,the weather outside is dark and cloudy,meaning it might rain tonight,just as she was thinking about that,the rain started.

She sighed and head happily and ran to the window,she closed the window and pulled the curtains down. The rain fall sounded even more louder in her ears.

“Wow,not ony birthday..well thank goodness it’s night already” she smiled at her own words before running to settle down in front of her boxed presents.

She’s got no friends to come over to give her presents,but at least her parents never missed that.

As she sat down and began unboxing one of the five wrapped presents,two voices echoed in her ears that the box dropped from her hand. She could hear it loud and clear,her parents voice.

“You said it Douglas,she’s eighteen now,when are you going to tell her we don’t intend on keeping her here after this birthday?” She heard her mom’s voice and her eyes widened.

Though,they told her as she was growing up that they aren’t are real parents,they just found her one fortunate day and decided to keep her,but honestly she never imagined there would never a day where they would decide to send her away.

“It’s just today,come on. We can’t just go to her and tell her to leave,at least she’s still our daughter”

“Remember what the seer said? It might be dangerous keeping her after she clocks eighteen”

“Dangerous?” Genny mumbled and stood up,she was only wondering why they decided to talk about this right in front of her room door.

She walked to the door and opened but nobody,the voices got even louder,she continue walking and walking,that was when she realized,her parents aren’t close to her at all,and with the heavy rainfall she’s not supposed to hear their voices so loud and clear even if they are close to her.

“What’s this?” She asked herself,now getting scared.

Her parents turned out to be downstairs,,her room is almost at the end of the passage when you go upstairs. Genny turned in fear and ran back to her room,her body shaking.

She looked around,it was as if the rain was falling right inside her ears,her parents voices jingling in her ears.

She fell on the bed and covered her ears with the pillow but it got even more worse. The breeze blowing,animals running from afar,sounds of birds running for shelter,everything was happening,inside her ears that in the end she passed out.

CHRONICLES OF RAVENWOOD : CHAPTERS 1 – 10

PRESENT DAY, SPRINGDALE HIGH SCHOOL*

Genny walked into the school compound and as usual she could hear the tiniest voice from afar,as she passed and walked in the midst of students,she was hearing their heartbeat,even their thoughts,all ringing in her head. It’s no longer a new thing.

She sighed out and used her earpiece,increasing her pace toward her class.

“Here comes the freak”

“Weirdo”

The students started laughing but Genny was used to it,she walked straight to her seat which was separated from the other students at the back of the class.

She could see the class queens making up in the class,the boys not taking their eyes off them. Genny sighed,knowing she would never be up to their level,her wish. She saw her own reflection in the mirror,she’s got no make up on like other girls,not even a lip gloss.

‘You’re pretty Genny’ She tried to convince herself but how would she?? If she’s that pretty,why would they bully her like that? She doesn’t even have a crush,maybe her crush could have saved her from them,like in the movies.

After the first three lectures,it was free time,Genny put her head on her desk to take a nap.

“Hey!” Someone shouted,tapping her desk repeatedly and she opened her eyes to see them..three girls,the class Queens,her greatest enemies,they hate her more than anyone in school.

“Come with us loser” They grabbed her hair and dragged her out of the class with it.

“What do you want,please let me go,I can give you my allowance if you want” Genny pleaded as they pulled her into the locker room and locked the door.

“You really think we are doing this for money?” One of them asked.

“Then….why…..” A slap landed on Genny’s face and she swallowed. .

“I just hate your annoying face,that’s all” Their leader said.

“But…I…didn’t do… anything wrong” Genny muttered,tears rolling down her eyes.

“So you are saying we are wrong?!!”

She immediately shook her head.

“I’m just….”

“Stop talking!!!” They yelled and started pushing her to themselves,her sight became blurry,they pushed her to the ground and she began touching and tapping to get her sight back.

“Did she become blind?” One of them asked and they laughed.

“Stop pretending and get up bitch!” They grabbed her hair and pulled her up again,her face got smashed on the wall and they continue messing her up while laughing hard.

All of a sudden,a breeze from nowhere blew on Genny,she could feel her head banging like it’s not hers. The laughters from them sounded so distant that she could hardly hear them as they continue kicking her on the floor.

She gained a sudden strength and her body wasn’t hers for some minutes,neither was she thinking with her brain.

By the time she got herself back,she was in the middle of tons of studebts,everyone watching her with terror,fear,hatred in their eyes.

Genny looked around and found the three girls somewhere,all looking a mess with blood over their faces and bodies,she looked down at her hands and gasped,they are bloody.

“Did I…did I….do….that?” She asked herself,tears falling from her eyes.

She beat them up like a witch

Is she a monster?

I was actually scared to see it

I’ve always knew she was weird

I hate her

She should be expelled

Their voices and thoughts rang like bells in Genny’s ears.

“No….no…” She covered her ears but it wasn’t helpful. They kept getting louder.

“No!! Stop!!! Please!!! Ahh!!!! No!!!” Tears falling from her eyes,her sight blurry, all she could see everyone pointing hands at her,she was traumatized,she wanted to die.

“Please……please….stay back!! Ahh!!!!” She was shaking where she was sitting,wishing anything that would just end her life that minute.

MISS GENEVIEVE DOUGLAS,TO THE DETENTION ROOM PLS

The voice of the principal came.

Genny swallowed and tapped the floor countless times,trying to gain some stamina and strength to get up,some students kicked her hand and she fell back on the ground.

She was crying bitterly as they kept kicking and some throwing random things at her.

Go to hell!!

Witch!!

She managed to get up,finding her way to the detention room,her hair covering her face,looking scattered. She was looking so rough,her lips dry,her face with endless tesars.

She entered the room and closed the door,she sat down and itched her hair like a lunatic,she was really going crazy already.

What has she done to deserve these??

About an hour later,someone came to call her that her parents were there in school,she was pushed out of the detention room and she walked her way to meet her parents.

“You’re withdrawing me out of school? I didn’t do anything wrong! They bullied me first!” Genny cried as she walked after her parents.

“So you hit them so bad that they bled?! Their blood is all over your body!!” Mr Douglas yelled.

“My blood is there too” Genny said in tears.

“It’s manifesting,what the seer said. We can’t keep her” Mrs Douglas said.

Genny blinked out tears,they entered the car and drove out of school.

It was silent until they arrived home.

“Start packing your things Genevieve,for tomorrow” Mr Douglas said.

“No! You can’t throw me out,please,I have nowhere else to go” Genny fell on her knees.

Mrs Douglas went upstairs without saying a word.

“We aren’t throwing you out Genny,but you can’t stay here either. You should have noticed by now,you feel strange,you’re not the same anymore”

“Then….what…happens to me? What are you doing to do?” She trembled.

“Years back,we met a woman who predicted this…..and she gave us a solution too,that’s what I’m going to do,don’t worry Genny,you’re still my daughter no matter what,but in this situation,we have to help ourselves. You will be fine,just pack your clothes and stuffs,we are leaving early tomorrow morning,for it’s a long journey” Mr Douglas said and went upstairs.

Genny got up the floor and went to her room in tears,she looked around the room and more tears rolled down.

Nevertheless,she pulled out her box and started packing her things,maybe it’s for the best,she have no say in this,even if it’s going to be a bad decision,she have no choice.

It’s either she faces her doom end where she’s going or she finds a solution to what’s happening to her,right?

“I hate my life,I’m so useless” She cried out.

5AM NEXT MORNING*

Genny sighed out loudly as she put her bag in the car trunk,Mr Douglas came out of the house.

“Let’s go” He said in a reassured voice.

Genny could see Mrs Douglas staring at her from inside,she waved gently before going into the car,they took off.

Genny couldn’t help but wonder and imagine how life is going to be from now on.

The journey was long indeed,and tiring,sleeping on the way countless times to wake up and see that the car is still moving.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm orange glow over the landscape, They finally entered the town at exactly 6PM. The first thing that caught Genny’s attention was a signboard looming in the distance, with the town’s name emblazoned in bold, capital letters: RAVENWOOD.

As they drew closer, she noticed people milling about, families and individuals alike, their faces aglow with an otherworldly light.

The town itself exuded a strange, dark energy, like a palpable mist that clung to every surface. The buildings seemed to lean in, as if sharing a sinister secret, their windows like empty eyes staring back. The streets were narrow and winding, paved with uneven cobblestones that seemed to shift beneath their feet. The air was heavy with the scent of damp earth and decaying leaves, and Genny could feel the weight of the town’s history bearing down upon her.

As they continued on, another signboard came into view: RAVENWOOD HIGH SCHOOL AHEAD.

It was as if the town had suddenly been abandoned, leaving only the eerie silence and the looming presence of the school. The buildings seemed to grow taller and more menacing, their gray stone façades absorbing the fading light of day.

Finally, they entered the school compound, and Genny’s breath caught in her throat. The building loomed before them, a massive, gray monolith that seemed to absorb the light around it.

Mr Douglas parked in the lots and they both stepped down from the car. Genny wouldn’t stop looking around,the school is large,it’s like a whole empire or maybe palace on its own.

“Here” Mr Douglas took her box out and she immediately held the handle,following him.

She could see boys and girls around her age walking around,they met someone like a teacher and she directed them to an office.

After walking for about five minutes they got to the door of the office,the tag was written on the door. MASTER CASEN.

“Master? Not principal?” Genny asked herself.

Mr Douglas knocked on the door and a deep voice told them to come in which they did.

“You’re welcome Mr Douglas” Master Casen,a man in his forties said.

“Thank you so much master,this is my daughter,Genny like I told you”

Master Casen looked at Genny and nodded.

“You don’t have to worry young girl,we are here to help you..you will meet your mates with the same abilities so don’t be scared,you belong here”

As Master Casen said that,it became dawn on Genny…this is a supernatural school,where she can learn her abilities,where her questions can be answered,hearing people’s thought wasn’t natural,why haven’t she noticed??

“Thank you sir” She said and managed to smile.

After the long talk,she was given her dorm room number and a map to direct her,because according to master Casen,the boy who is to show her to her room got into a little accident and is unavailable.

She said a final goodbye to her dad and set out of the office to face the reality before her.

As Genny stepped out of the office, the evening lights cast a warm glow over the sprawling campus. The air was alive with an otherworldly energy, and the shadows seemed to writhe and twist in the flickering illumination. She dragged her box behind her, the wooden wheels creaking in protest as she made her way through the crowded corridors.

The students milled about, their eyes fixed on her with a mixture of curiosity and disdain. Genny felt like an outsider, a stranger in a strange land. They whispered to each other, their voices hushed and urgent, as they watched her struggle with her luggage.

Like master Casen told her. “You’ll find your quarters in the east wing. Don’t get lost.”

As she made her way through the winding corridors, Genny caught glimpses of students displaying their abilities. A boy with wings, soared through the air, his feathers rustling softly. A girl with skin like moonlight conjured a shimmering aura, her eyes glowing like stars. They moved with grace and precision, their powers unfolding like a dance.

But amidst the beauty and wonder, Genny sensed a dark undercurrent. The school seemed to vibrate with an ominous energy, like a storm waiting to unleash its fury. The shadows seemed to pulse with a malevolent life of their own, and the air was heavy with secrets and whispers.

As she walked, the students ignored her existence, their eyes sliding over her like she was a ghost. Genny felt a shiver run down her spine, her heart pounding in her chest. She quickened her pace, her box scraping against the stone floor.

And finally she saw the dorm ahead of her…..AURORA ANNEX written on top of it.

She started climbing the wide stair to cross over to the dorm,she climbed up,dragging her box behind her on the ground,but as if luck wasn’t on her side,her box opened and fell from her hand back downstairs,her clothes scattered.

“Oh no” She groaned and turned in frustration and anger,for hell sake,she just dropped from a thirteen hours journey with no food all through and now she’s passing through this??

Just as she was thinking of going down to pack her stuffs,a random guy showed up and picked up a piece of her clothes,her eyes widened,he just picked up her pantie.

“Hey!” Genny shouted and rushed downstairs,she let out a gasp when the guy inhaled her pantie and let out a smirk.

“Nice scent you’ve got” He smiled.

“Pervert” She mumbled and grabbed it from him.

“I’m Kymani,I see you’re new here” He smiled.

Genny scoffed and turned away from him only to bump into another body.

“Oh…I’m sorry” She immediately apologized before raising her head…it’s a guy.

She was welcomed by his piercing gaze snapping towards her, his eyes blazing with a dangerous intensity that made her feet feel like sinking into the ground,his chiseled features radiating an aura of coldness. Yet, despite his icy demeanor, he exuded a raw, masculine beauty that left Genny breathless. His sharp jawline and angular cheekbones were accentuated by his raven-black hair, which fell messily across his forehead. His eyes, a deep, piercing blue, seemed to bore into her very soul.

He wore a black leather jacket, adorned with silver studs, over a crisp white shirt and dark jeans, giving off an air of rebellious sophistication. A silver chain glinted around his neck, drawing attention to his chiseled chest. His outfit was effortlessly cool, yet menacing, like a dark storm cloud on the horizon.

As he glared at Genny, his full lips pressed into a thin line, his gaze seemed to strip her bare, leaving her feeling vulnerable and exposed.

She swallowed hard,finding no words to say,her legs shaking before him.

Some students started passing,bowing to him.

Good evening Alpha prince

Good evening your highness

Genny’s eyes widened and a sudden coldness covered her body.

What? Alpha prince? What’s that??

The moment she realized….she screamed inwardly.

He’s a….Wolf???!!!!!

Not just a wolf….Alpha’s Heir?!!!
