Chapter 61

?Draco’s Mansion?

Pearl hummed and greeted everyone she came across happily. Her face is beaming brightly with smiles.

She’s on her way to the dining area for breakfast. When she got there, she’s surprised to find the table empty with no single meal on it.

Just when she was about to ask a maid what was wrong, her nostrils picked up the smell of something, something sweet.

Pearl traced the sweet smell and found herself in the kitchen.

Her eyes nearly left their sockets because of the shock of seeing that Draco was the one cooking.

She instantly pinched herself hard.

“Am not dreaming, he’s actually cooking” she muttered with her mouth open.

Her eyes caught the maids that were drooling and she rolled her eyes and scoffed.

“Playing an angel role wouldn’t still change the d’vil for who he is” she said mentally as she kept staring.

Draco turned and his eyes met hers.

“You finally decided to wake up” he smirked and Pearl swallowed.

Even with the apron on and some beads of sweat on his forehead, he looked so hot and sxy.

The way he handled everything with care was also impressive.

He cooked professionally like it was absolutely nothing.

SWEET THORN : CHAPTERS 61 – 70

?The Dining Table?

The maids placed the all meals down on the table, and placed the drink next.

The mouthwatering dishes made the table look like a food contest.

Draco sat down and Pearl hurriedly sat too. Her eyes never left the feast as she drooled hard.

She’s trying to be patient to get Draco’s order before digging in. Her hope was cut short as a call came into his phone.

Pearl frowned, hating the caller already. Draco smirked and she knew might d!e before he’s down with the call, so he gave her a signal to go ahead before he stood up.

Pearl smiled heartedly and rushed to start eating. The first scoop of the food into her mouth, her eyes eventually left her.

“Am I eating something else or is it still food?” She thought.

The taste of the food was too overwhelming. She couldn’t concentrate on one meal and kept eating from different plates.

Draco came back and was surprised to see that most plates were already empty.

“Master” Pearl mumbled as he averted his gaze to her.

She blinked cutely as she kept eating the chicken in her hand slowly.

“Now I have a glutton as a pet” he muttered and sighed.

“Sorry, they were too tasty. You’re a great cook” she grinned and Draco noticed the crumbs besides her lips.

He walked closer to her and held her chin up. He leaned in and used his tongue to lick off the crumbs.

Pearl remained motionless when he withdrawed and he smiled, making their eyes stare into each other.

“Now I believe it’s tasty” he said in his husky se.ductive voice and Pearl blushed hard, biting her lower lip.

“Master” she called and he raised his brow.

“Aren’t you going to eat? There’s still some left”

“Am not hungry. As a matter of fact I crave for a different food”

“Different food?” she repeated his words and he nodded.

“What kind of food is that master?” She asked curiously.

“You’re the food Pearl” he replied with a devious smile.

“Me? But am human not a food” she frowned and Draco chuckled at her innocence.

“There are different kinds of food Pearl, some takes time to get eaten and you’re that type” he said and stood up with his hands tucked in his pockets.

Pearl just kept staring at him like he has lost it. She doesn’t even have a clue of what he’s saying.

It suddenly came to her mind that he’s a va.mpire and she gasped.

“Is he talking about my bI.ood? He wants to svck it” her heart started beating hard from her imagination.

Draco shaked his head at her thoughts, she’s too naive.

“Go to your room and change to what I gave you last night, then join me in the hot spring” he said authoritatively and disappeared.

She nearly freaked out from the disappearing act, but she composed herself since she had to get used to it anyway.

SWEET THORN : CHAPTERS 61 – 70

?The Hot Spring Room?

They were already in the water with their attires. Pearl has a sexy red bikini on, a very revealing one.

Draco just looked hot as always in a simple short but no shirt.

Pearl had her back on a rock while Draco had his head on her bbs.

She felt uncomfortable about it, but she didn’t dare to complain.

She’s massaging his shoulders while his eyes are closed like he’s sleeping.

Chapter 41

?Draco’s Mansion (Garden)?

It’s been a week already, but everything that happened still feels like yesterday to her. She feels lost, lost in a world she doesn’t understand.

“Here you’re, been searching for you” Evie said as she sat beside her.

After Evie told Pearl the truth of her knowing that Draco is supernatural, she’s been giving her cold attitude.

She tried avoiding conversations with her and always remained on her own.

“You’re still not gonna talk to me?” Evie asked and Pearl remained like a statue, without replying or saying anything.

“It’s okay. Just try to eat the fruits, I bought them for you” she said and placed the bowl of the fruits on the seat.

After giving her one more look and seeing that she’s the same, she signed and turned to leave.

“Ple..ase d.. don’t leave me” that tiny voice came through and she turned swiftly to see her sobbing.

“Hey, am never gonna leave you. I just thought you needed some space” Evie said as she sat down back and started consoling her.

She pulled her closer to herself and placed her head on her chest and patted her hair fondly.

“Am sorry Evie, but it hurts a lot” Pearl kept crying as she spoke.

“I know it does. I know it hurts so much and that’s why I’ll always be here” Evie responded, still patting her hair.

“Please promise me you’ll never leave me too” she said amidst her tears.

“And why do you think I will ever do so?” Evie asked as she pulled her up, holding her face gently, she looked at her directly in the eyes.

“I will always be here with you, no matter what happens. You can always count on me”

“Thanks Evie” she smile weakly and hugged her.

“You’re always welcome baby” Evie smiled back and they broke the hug.

“Now will you have this?” She asked, referring to the fruits and Pearl nodded.

“That’s my good girl. Here you go” Evie smiled and fed her a green grape.

“Evie” Pearl called suddenly.

“Yes dear” she answered, still feeding her fruits.

“You have never really told me about your parents, you always spoke only of your brother” Pearl said and Evie’s hand dropped, her facial expression changed too.

“Am sorry for making you uncomfortable, don’t worry you don’t have to tell me” she said again and held her hand dearly.

“No, it’s okay” Evie replied with a short sad smile.

“We lost our parents a long time ago, so I ended up caring for my little brother till Draco showed up.

He actually helped us a lot, cause it was very tough for us back then” she kept narrating her story with a pitiful look.

“Sorry okay, that’s a very heartbreaking story. You guys really had it tough” Pearl muttered feeling sad too.

“There’s no need to apologize, it’s all in the past now” Evie said, wiping off the little tears in her eyes.

“Now you have me too” Pearl grinned and Evie smiled, nodding.

Pearl’s stomach made a funny sound and the girls burst into laughter.

“I hear that little guy saying it’s hungry,” Evie said and chuckled.

“And it’s saying it wants to eat you” Pearl joked, tickling her.

“No! Stop!! Please stop!!! Evie tried saying as she laughed loudly. She stood up and ran away, but Pearl ran after her too.

“Come back food, I am not satisfied” Pearl shouted loudly, still chasing her.

SWEET THORN : CHAPTERS 41 – 50

?Global Group?

“Are those all the schedules for today?” Draco asked Amber as he signed on some files.

“Yes sir” She replied with a nod.

“And Mr Jimmy has chosen G&G (Global Group) over Vince Empire” she announced.

“I knew that fool was no match for me” he smirked.

“It’s time to head to the hall for the conference sir” she said after checking the time on her wrist watch.

“Okay, give me the last file” he requested.

Chapter 31

Minutes went by after the other, but Draco still remained the same, doing what he was doing. The inhibited girl in his trap couldn’t do anything.

He had never touched her in such a way before. It normally only ended in holding her waist and his hot breaths on her neck. She’s short of words from what he is doing right now.

“Was he waiting all these while for her to grow up more?”

“Will it only end here?”

“What’s going to be her fate now?”

These thoughts of what would become of her started filling her head. She’s certain more strange things were bound to happen after this.

His sharp teeth touched her skin and she flinched, trying to free herself from his tight grip but couldn’t.

“Was he born with a dog’s canine? She thought mentally.

Draco didn’t pay much attention to her thoughts, cause he’s rather lost in staring at her clear neck.

He had stopped the “Neck kss, but his face and gaze were still on her neck.

The hot bI.ood flowing through those veins kept calling out to him, to have a bite.

He is trying all he can to control himself, cause he’s certain once his fangs sinks in, he wouldn’t stop till she’s drained of all her bI.ood.

Which is not what he wants, at least not yet. He still needs her alive.

After some seconds he brought his face back to hers and Pearl started searching for answers in those eyes.

That was a wrong idea cause those eyes never held any emotions in them.

Draco cast a spell on her and her eyelids started closing without her permission.

Her head laid on his chest as she fell into a deep slumber.

He carried her out of the water and dried their bodies magically, then he made them disappear into her room.

SWEET THORN : CHAPTERS 31 – 40

?Pearl’s Room?

After placing her gently on the bed, he made sure he covered her.

Leaving wasn’t his option yet as he decided to watch the fragile girl who was sleeping.

Sinful ideas were displayed in his head like a Tv. He can’t stand pure things around him, and the fact she’s too innocent irritates him.

All he wants more than anything is to taunt her.

After much stares, he decided to leave for his own room. He didn’t bother wiping her memories of what happened, she has to get used to it anyway.

SWEET THORN : CHAPTERS 31 – 40

?In the Morning?

She wants to pull the girl in the mirror out and ask if it was still her. She looks the same but feels different.

All these new feelings were from what happened previously, not just the feelings there’s also a huge hickey on her neck.

The first thing she recalls when her eyes got opened that morning, was what happened last night.

The thoughts has been driving her nuts with so much questions.

She could tell from those eyes of his that more were bound to start happening. She’s scared her life might have to take new turn.

“Oh dear Lord! Please let it not go beyond this, she prayed silently to herself.

SWEET THORN : CHAPTERS 31 – 40

?A Golf Field?

Draco and Jax were dressed hotly in their shirts and shorts.

The two friends were really enjoying the leisure time they were having.

“Gotta hand it down to you dear friend, am the ‘King of golf, Jax said proudly with his cocky smile.

“That’s cause you are always cheating, id!ot, Draco snapped and scoffed.

“And you’re always being too scrupulous, Jax replied.

“Don’t ever think of bothering me to play with you again, he said angrily and started leaving.

“No! Am sorry, okay… fine, you won. Please come back, Jax shouted running after him to bring him back.

“If I lose this time, your grave will be beside that hole, he said and Jax gave a prefunctory nod, swallowing hard.

Draco dragged his golf club very far behind him and stroke a pose to hit the golf ball. Jax shut his eyes tight and folded his palms together.

“Am too young to d!e” he kept mumbling silently.

Draco hit the ball and it was flew off with a high speed because of the force implied. There’s no way such force would let the ball score a goal.

“No!” Jax shouted his mouth open.
