“Don’t waste your time in informing the boss about her visit, trust me, this isn’t new.” The wolf girl said. “And when I said this isn’t new, believe me I have seen a lot of them trying to get his attention this way.” She added.

“I don’t know if she is like those girls who pretend just to see our boss, but she sounded genuine and I believe her somehow.” The human girl said.

The wolf girl opened her mouth to speak but didn’t get the chance to because at that moment Osiris stepped inside and everyone stopped to bow at him.

“Where is he?” Osiris growled out. He didn’t have to call the ‘he’ name for the staff, wolves and humans, to know who he was asking after. He walked up to the receptionist desk.

“He left a few minutes ago, Alpha.” the wolf quickly replied.

“Where could he have gone to?” He asked and didn’t wait for an answer before he resumed his walk and headed for his son’s office, entering the elevator and pressing the floor number muttering to himself.

YOU ARE MY POSSESSION : CHAPTER 21 – 30

Zinedine drove back to the company and his scowl deepened when he noticed the cars that lined up which obviously belonged to his father. He had gone to meet Marco, the owner of the harbor where their ship had come to.

Flashbacks:

“Marco, release the goods from my ship, I was told you seized it. You don’t want to start a war with us, me particularly, with the way I am seeing you, you can’t stand the war.” Zinedine said to the huge black man, ignoring the silver guns pointing at him. He was at Marco’s office.

“Oh I can see the quiet one had told you, he couldn’t handle business with him.” Marco taunt.

“Sebastian isn’t a troublemaker and doesn’t like looking for trouble but believe me, I am the very opposite of that. You don’t want to see me get angry, this building of yours can’t contain it so it is either we deal with his business man to business man or we do it my way. I am enough to start a war and I surely know how to end it.”

End Of Flashbacks:

He could deal with the one who had called his brother weakling since he wasn’t with Marco.

And as for Marco, he didn’t want a fight and so he agreed to release their goods. Now knowing his father is here almost made him turn around, but he stepped out of the car, ignored the greetings and entered the elevator. One of the receptionist girls was trying to get his attention which he ignored because all his focus was on why his father was here.

He ignored his secretary and entered his office and crossed his arms when he saw his father seated on his seat.

“Why are you here?” He asked almost immediately.

“Where were you?” Osiris returned his question with one of his own questions.

“Went to do my business, now why are you here without calling me first to know about your visit, you know how it works.”

“Well I thought after last night you wouldn’t want to see my face and I was right. You left without talking to me, which is not good, son.”

“Why are you here father, I know you, you are just saying this to calm me down for what you are about to say, so out with it and stop beating around the bush. You and I know you are still angry about yesterday so stop your pretense, it doesn’t suit you, unlike you, I have things I am doing.”

“Selena is coming back and I don’t want you to cause trouble for her, remember she is your stepmother, please.” Osiris finally said. His second wife had called him to inform about her coming in the morning. She was the one who had woken him up.

“Okay, I will stay in my lane, just tell her to stay in her own lane, Dad.” Zinedine said with a shrug.

“You’d call me a fool if I believed a single word you just said, right?”

“Damn right, just tell your Selena not to breathe close or wherever I am, guess what? I will be all over the house. That’s the door, Dad.”

Alpha Romulus Mansion:

Zinedine and Viva were seen inside the living room, seated close to one another.

Viva was a pretty girl with curly long blond hair and almond shaped eyes to go with which matches her skin tone, her golden gown fitted her. She was truly a beauty to behold.

“So how have you been?” Zinedine asked. It has been ages since he last saw Viva. The last time he saw her was when they were little.

“I’m fine Zinedine, you’ve grown to be a handsome man.” Viva said shyly.

“Thank you, and you are not looking so bad yourself,” Zinedine said. “To be sincere, I never thought you were related to Romulus let alone being his daughter so I’m still a bit surprised.” He added.

Viva smiled and blushed at his words.

“We grew up together, you should have known.” She told him.

“Really, I didn’t because I also thought you were an omega, just like her, like your best friend, anyway, have you been hearing from Samira?” he asked with high hopes.

Viva’s smile on her face was gone as she got reminded of that smelling Omega but she tried to hide her facial reaction.

She had only pretended to become Samira’s friend because she saw the way Zinedine was always checking on her or trying to come close to her. She became so close to Samira and even told the omega lies about what Zinedine had said about her.

When Samira started avoiding Zinedine and ran away from the pack, that was the happiest day of her life, why wouldn’t it be when she told the omega that Osiris had killed her family.

But unfortunately for her, her father at that moment took her out of the country to further her studies and she hasn’t come across him since except seeing him on the television. She thought by now Zinedine would have forgotten Samira ever existed but how wrong she was.

“Viva.” Zinedine’s voice brought her out of her thoughts.

“Oh, sorry I was thinking.” Viva pretended to be sad.

“Thinking about what?”

“Samira, just the thought of
she makes me sad.” Viva lied.

“Why?”

“Because I wonder how she might be feeling right now, all alone in this
world, I hope the bigger and stronger wolves don’t take advantage of her, she was weak, too weak for her to fight against the world.” Viva answered. “The last time I saw her was the night before she ran away, I wonder where she could be right now or if she is even alive and-”

Zinedine Interrupted her abruptly.

“She is still alive and more beautiful than I can imagine,” he said as the memories of seeing Samira that fateful night invaded his memory.

“You saw her? When was that?”

“Eight years ago in Florida’s birthday party and just like before she ran away from me when she saw me. I have been looking for her ever since that night.” Zinedine answered her, though he didn’t tell her about what happened the rest of the night with Samira, that was between him and his runaway girl.

“Oh, Florida invited me but I was just rounding up my school project and couldn’t come that day but I called to wish her.” Viva forced herself to smile, if she had known that Samira or Zinedine would be there she wouldn’t have made any excuse to Florida. “But you wouldn’t blame her, she is far older than you and might have other lovers.”

“Viva, age really doesn’t matter to me, we are wolves, remember?” Zinedine said even though he was trying his best not to think of other men touching what belongs to him. He tried to calmed himself down. “That was the only birthday party of Florida I attended.” He added.

“You are the busy type, I understand you.” Viva said as she watched Zinedine shrug. “I could see your brothers, they’re looking good too.”

The chill ringing from her phone woke her up, picking it up without checking the caller ID. Anyone calling her through this number has a job for her. It’s the number she uses if anyone wants to contact her or rather her assassin name, Mr King.

“Yes.”

“Mr King, you have a job,” A male voice said almost immediately.

“What kind of job do you have for me and before you proceed, know that I don’t kill children.” Samira told him. She knew how her voice would sound at the other end, a man’s voice with rough edges. She had made sure she changed her feminine voice to a male voice with a rough deep baritone. No one could guess the person they are always talking to is a lady.

“I need you to kill someone for me, he is not a child.”

“Who is he?” Samira asked.

“His name is Zinedine and he will be attending a birthday party tonight. It’s to lure him out, we know what we did before he agreed to attend this birthday party, so don’t fuck it up.”

The warning the man added in his long sentences made Samira’s lips twitch up a bit.

“Well, does this Zinedine have a last name?”

“There is no need to mention his last name, you will know it’s him once he comes to the party. He won’t announce himself but the people there will do it for you.”

“How much?”

“20 Million dollars.”

Samira mouth parted in shock, this is the second highest money paid for killing a client, the first one was a Mafia drug Lord and she was paid 15 million dollars to eliminate him and now this.

“I know you must be shocked by the amount I am willingly to pay to have him killed, he’s a tough guy, so be careful.”

Samira snorted as she couldn’t help it, careful her sexy ass.

“Send me my full money, you know Mr King doesn’t do half payment now and balance later.”

“I know that’s why you are the perfect one for the job,” the man said to her. “Before I forget, the birthday party is strictly by invitation so I am going to send you a copy of an invitation card to your Gmail address. You know what to do with it.”

“Send me my complete money and I will start getting prepared.”

“Mr King, no matter what, he has to die toni-”

Samira didn’t let him finish his words and cut the call. Checking her clock, it was 2pm in the afternoon and at that same moment an alert came to her phone. Her lips lifted up at the corner.

Dividing and transferring money to all her accounts she has with her real name she checked her Gmail account next. She always made sure she didn’t leave her traces behind. Mr King is a ghost and a ghost he shall remain.

The invitation card had been sent, she quickly printed it out with her printer she had in her room. For someone killing for a living, the place she was staying was a one room apartment with kitchen and bathroom.

Holding the birthday party invitation in her hands, she hummed to herself. Operation killing Zinedine is on.

It was 8:30 pm and she was already at the premises of the so called celebrant, she wouldn’t deny the mansion was magnificent but she wasn’t here for sightseeing.

She was wearing a strapless long shiny red elegant dress that reached her feet which was made of tiny diamonds and red ruby, bringing out her curves, the side of the dress was silt up to her thigh and wearing a stiletto heel strappy red sandals to match.

Her brown hair was let down with a bit of make-up on her face. She was holding a Cleopatra Clutches which cost her $400,000 dollars. She needed to look expensive.

Showing the guard outside the mansion her invitation card, he allowed her in. She ignored the flirting smile the guard had to her and focused on the inside which was already filled with people of class. She was here on a mission and that was why she was dressed to kill.

The sound her heels were making attracted some curious eyes to her and she gave them her killer smile. She knew she was beautiful without being told. Looking at the men and ladies, some were eye-fucking her while some of the ladies were glaring at her already.

Wow honey it’s not easy to have this body of hers and face, she smiled at the lady who was dressed the most and who men were flocking around her, without being told that is the celebrant.

She shifted her gaze from the celebrant and wondered among the men in here, who could be the one that called her this afternoon. She walked up to an empty artylife sofa and sat down, crossing her legs and used her wolf hearing abilities to check if anyone would mention Zinedine’s name.

She had made sure she covered her wolf scent with the perfume a witch friend of hers gave to her. She could sense her fellow wolves but she pretended not to notice.

All of a sudden, the aura of the room changed as the door opened and a young man of 20 years walked in, wearing loose ripped jeans and t-shirt unlike the men in here that are wearing expensive suits. Everyone was staring at him.

Her heart skipped a beat and not because of how handsome the young man was but recognizing who he is. She heard the whispers which confirm her fears, he is indeed Zinedine, but the name she knew him as wasn’t Zinedine. Whoever that had placed a hit on Zinedine must also be powerful.

The celebrant was approaching him with a sexy smile on her face and Samira wanted to scratch that smile off the bitch face. She can’t kill him, how can she kill a wolf, not just any wolf but a Millennium wolf.

She stood up immediately to get out of there but her bag chose that moment to fall down with a loud thud bringing some attention to her including Zinedine.

No, no, no…

She saw his eyes widening in shock which made her realize he remembered her. He began to move towards her with her name ‘Mira’ on his lips.

She didn’t wait, she ran out without looking behind her. She ran to where she packed her bmw range down the street, she unlocked it and was about to open the driver side of the car when his hand stopped her.

“Sweetheart.” His voice sent shivers down her spine in a good way but she hid it.

“Don’t call me that.” Samira groaned.

“My love.”

“Or that.”

“My Dream Girl.”

“Even that.”

“Mi Tesoro.” meaning ‘My Treasure’ in Spanish.

“What do you want?” Samira finally asked, turning to look at him, they were so close that their lips were almost touching. One of his hands was on her waist and the other one was cupping one of her breasts.

“Why do you keep running away from me Mi Tesoro? Now that I have you here with me again, I won’t let go of you forever.”

He kissed her passionately.

Then… boom!

A bomb exploded.

Adeline’s mind went down on a thick mash of fear and got muddled as she continued rolling down the grass with Madden whose arms are around her waist.

The force of the bomb explosion shook the place to it’s roots, and the other six mobsters on the grass rolled down with them.

Luckily for them, the bomb didn’t get any of them, but it made a mess of the snow, boring different huge holes in it.

One of the trees around caught fire, and it began burning brightly, sharing it’s fire around the place.

Madden let go of Adeline when they got to the downside part of the grass, and he stood, his arm bleeding from the shot and the right part of his face stained with black from the bomb fumes.

Adeline stood, slinging her gun on her shoulder with shaky hands before facing him.

“You’re… wounded!” Her eyes widened when she saw his bleeding arm, but when she tried to touch it, he literally slapped her hand away, and she stepped back before looking at his face again.

“This ain’t the right time to play pathetic, get your head straight in the game! If you get yourself killed, I’ll happily have you buried!” He harshly said, and she swallowed her own spit as the harshness hit her all in the face.

Adeline badly wants to ask how he knew her real name, or when he found out, but obviously, this ain’t the right time too.

She almost died, and that same mistake shouldn’t happen again.

The other six guys stood to their feet too.

“Shield yourselves with the trees and follow the strength of your capacity. The real hunt starts now” Madden ordered, and the guys split themselves in twos, going in different directions.

Madden went straight, covering himself with a leafless tree, and Adeline followed, staying at the other side of him.

She hid behind a tree too before peeping out to the cabins.

She could clearly see the bastards who threw the bomb.

They’re already coming into the forest, probably to check if the bomb got them.

There are like dozens of them.

Before Adeline could think, Madden already opened fire on them.

Adeline followed his lead, opening fire too together with the other mobsters around.

Within two minutes, they brought down over thirty of the bastards, and the rest of them ran into hiding, shooting back from there.

One of them targeted Adeline’s spot, and she had to gum herself to the tree cos any slight movement from her, she’d be shot down.

Madden saw it and tried taking the bastard down, but it’s impossible from his angle.

Adeline is the only one who can bring him down.

Adeline held her breath, deciding to risk it and come out from behind the tree…

“Stay where you are” Madden told her.

“But I can’t freeze for life” she replied.

“Then you’ll come out and get yourself killed?” He said.

“Didn’t you say you’d happily bury me if i die?” She replied.

“This little shit” Madden muttered, and before he could address her again, she came out from behind the tree with her sniper intact.

The target shot immediately, and she shot at the same time, hitting him in the head.

The target went down, and then several other shots started coming from his colleagues, aimed directly at Adeline.

“Shit!” She spat, climbing the tree as bullets flew around the leaves.

Madden had to face them under the tree while she shot back from a tree branch.

Together, they brought down another round of thirty, thanks to their stellar shooting skills.
