? Nina’s P. O. V
I stare at him as he stares at me.
“Um,by any chance, Do you know each other?” The woman who’s sitting beside my would be mother in law asks. She was there yesterday.
“What’s with her? Wasn’t it a family dinner party?” Rohan asks my would be mother in law.
“Do you know her?” She asks.
“We both know each other very well. But what’s he doing here? Weren’t I supposed to meet my future husband?” I ask and shift my gaze to Alia.
“He’s the one you’re going to marry.” Alia says.
As soon as I hear these words, I feel my heart’s beating like it’s being hammered.
“Marry?” Rohan frowns.
I remain silent actually I’m speechless.
The elevator bell rings and Nusaiba with a baby and a young man enters.
Nusaiba stops as she sees me.
“I think it’s totally a mess now.” Alia says.
? Rohan’s P. O. V
Still, I’m confused, dumbfounded.
What’s on the earth is going on here. I give Nusaiba a cold glance.
She nods not instantly.
I had cleared everything to her that Nina isn’t my girlfriend. Did she tell mom about even when I cleared everything?
“Well, come here… Let’s discuss then.” Mom says to Nina and she throws a angry glance at her.
How dare she look at my mother this
way?
I’m kind of angry.
“I need everything to be cleared. Right now.” She says.
Mom looks at aunt Elina.
“I think you clear everything to Rohan at first.” She says to mom.
? Nina’s P. O. V
As Rohan and her mom leave, I look at others.
“Oh, I’m Rohan’s aunt, Elina… Alia is my daughter. We couldn’t introduce ourselves yesterday. Now, come here. Tell me, how do you know Rohan?” I look at her blankly.
“Huh, you ask me that? I think these are all your plan.” I say.
I really don’t know what this is. Do they need this company so badly?? I don’t know…. What’ll they get if I get married to their son? There’s no way they are going to get the company. Even if it is mine.
“What do you mean? We didn’t plan anything. We just want you two to get married and live happily. And now you two know each other, isn’t it better? You already know him..” Aunt Elina says smiling sweetly.
I leave that place instantly and walk away to find a silent place.
“Nina….” I hear Nusaiba calling me but I have to ignore it right now.
As I stand by the boundary, my tears start rolling down nonstop.
Why all this mess! Why do I have to
end up with him, the perfume holder.
I wipe away the tears and take a deep breath.
I don’t know why but I start feeling
relaxed after seeing Rohan. I can’t still
get it that it was him they were
talking about. Why am I relaxed?
Maybe, I have faced something I didn’t
expect.
I sigh again and look at the road. People walking on the footpath, vehicles running on the road, they’re so tiny…
A cold wind touches my whole body and I shiver.
I feel so tiny now. I don’t know how
am I feeling now. Am I angry or am I
lost? Maybe, none of them. If I give it
a think, I got something better than I
deserve. But….,
Still ,my heart ache for
Adam. Do I have feelings for both of
them? How can this be possible?
I grip the boundary with my fingers and a pair of hand goes around my waist.
“W-what is it!” I exclaim in surprise and grip those firm hands embracing me under my chest.
? Rohan’s P. O. V
I remain silent.
“I see. So you were talking about this Nina that day.” Mom says.
She’s smiling.
“Yes but that doesn’t mean I want to marry her or something. Just I’ve feelings for her.” I say.
“I know. I know. I never saw you expressing your feelings this way. You’ve more feelings for her inside you. Just let them out and express your feelings more. I hope you understand hearing all of these that you two were destined to be together.” She says and I sigh.
“But what she’ll say that these all are our plan.” I say.
“Make her understand, she’ll understand. She’s smart but self-willed. She won’t let you win over her easily.” Mom says.
I look at Nina who’s standing by the boundary and looking at the busy street.
She’s already a place for me in her
heart.
“Just love her the way you want not the way she wants.” Mom says.
“What are you saying?” I ask confused.
“She already challenge me that you can’t love her…”
I rise my eyebrows and mom nods in response. I give her a “I see” expression.
“Just take everything slowly.” She says.
“But…. Don’t you think it’s too early for both of us to get married now? We’re only 19 and 22.” I say as mom stands to leave.
“I said take everything slowly. Don’t hurry.” She chuckles and I frown a little, irritated.
? Nina’s P. O. V
“What are you doing? You never let your prey go, right?” I ask and try to get away from the embrace.
But he wraps his hands more and and his muscular torso touches my back.
“Ugh-” I let out a groan.
“If you think these are planned then you’re wrong.” Rohan says.
“What you mean?” I frown and try to look at him still resisting his back embrace.
“What I mean……” He removes my hair from my back to a shoulder and place his chin on other shoulder.
“Why are you clinging to me!!” I almost scream as I start resisting more.
“What I mean is I’ll not get ANYTHING from marrying you.” He whispers that sends shiver down my spin.
“I can’t believe you!” I say and jerk my shoulder up suddenly which makes his slightly surprised.
He instantly turns me around and pins me against the boundary. I lean backwards so that his face can’t get any closer.
What kind of fight is this!
I grab his suit and stop him from leaning more.
“Stop it already!!” I say angrily.
“You started it.” He says and grabbing my waist, he lifts me up from the ground and makes me sit on the boundary.
I look down and my head spins.
“Oh no! I’m afraid of height.” I say and my heart starts beating loudly.
I’m off guard and he takes the chance to lean me more backward. He lets go of my waist.
“No! No! I’ll fall down! My head’s spinning! Hold me!” I shout and embrace him tightly as if my life depends on it.
“Good girl. Now you’ll listen to me carefully.” He says. Even without looking I can feel him smiling dev1lishly.
“When my mother got the news that I’ve broken up with my ex girlfriend, Mia, she decided to get me married. And coincidentally, she has chosen you.” I hear him and let out a faint laugh.
“Is this mere a coincidence? Nothing to do with you? How come she….. Ugh …. ended up choosing me?” His hands go around my back and make me let out a groan. What else I can do except groaning when my life depends on this unwanted embrace. Can’t believe, he can even push me down.
“Maybe Maria informed my mom.” He says.
That Maria girl, I met her at the rest house, is quite a bitch-like girl.
I sigh and he passes his hand slowly on my back.
I am really confused. Aunt said that Rohan’s mother had blackmailed he saying marriage or company.
“Don’t your mother know about the company matter, I mean that you were investigating?” I ask.
“If she would know that I’m investigating,she surely would know about you. But as you can see, she was surprised when she heard we knew each other.” He replies.
If she doesn’t know about the company matter then how come she blackmailed aunt.
“What if that is also a part of the plan? If this isn’t plan how did she come to know about the company? Umm, I heard her talking about the company.” I lie.
I’m sorry…
“This company is so related to our family. Almost everyone know about this matter. And if I knew it, I wouldn’t be so polite like mom, I would kidnap you. I’ve that power,little thing.” He says.
“Little what??….” Finally, I rise my head and look at him.
“Little thing? Do I seem like a thing to you? I’m not anything that you can buy.” I say frowning.
He smirks.
“I can buy you. At least, I’ve that ability. I maybe poor but I can buy you.” He says and I roll my eyes.
You arrogant , rich human being!!
