I got home as soon as i could,as soon as i got in,i saw lily by the doorside
Thank God she is still here ,at least she didnt leave before i came back
“Who is ther…….”she stopped on seeing me
“Lily i….”
“Your mom is in the living room with dora”she said moving from me
“Lily i…..”
“Not now okay,your mother is in there,so go and meet her”she said before walking off
Lily is really mad at me,i have to talk to her,i have to make her see reason
I went into the sitting room and found my mom,dora and lily there
On seeing me dora ran to me hugging me close
Just holding her in my arms felt like i will be hugging her for the last time
“So your finally back ,lily told me that you were busy with work”my mom said starring at me
She didnt tell mom about me at least that is a good sign from her
Mom chatted for a while and then she left
As soon as she left lily picked up dora heading for her room
“Lily we need to talk”i said obstructing her path
“Dora needs my attention,excuse us”she said
“Grace,grace”i called and immediately the cook walked in
“Yes sir?”
“Take dora with you,get her anything she wants,my wife and i have something very important to discuss”i said and grace did as she was told
Luck was also on my side when dora went with grace willingly
“Lily we need to talk”
“I have nothing to talk about with you”she yelled at me
“What you saw last night is not what you think”he said
“And what do i think it is”she said
“It was all made by brenda”i said
“Oh spare me with your lies max,i dont wanna listen anymore”she said and began to walk upstairs
I wasnt going to let it end that way,i followed her upstairs ,calling her to stop but she still wouldnt listen to me
I got into the room only to be tripped by the suitcase that had been placed on the floor
I recognise the suitcase to be hers
“Whats this?”i said
“Its what it is,am leaving “she said as she stood by the window
“Why lily?”i said
“You and i both know why”she said turning to stare at me,the tears she has been holding for a while now began to pour out
“We dont trust one another,you dont trust me and neither do i trust you” she continued
“But i do trust you ”
“If you had trusted me you would have believed me when i had told you about james yesterday ,you wont have gone off with brenda and wouldn’t have had sx with her,you would still be here with assuring me how much you love me and i would also be doing the same”she said
She was right about one thing,we dont trust one another and thats what a good marriage needs
She walked to me and held my hand
“You must let me go max,lets give our self sometime,two weeks at that,lets see if we cant live apart from each other”
“And what would happen if we found out that we cant live without one another “i said
“Then we get back to each other and try to make our marriage work”she said
“And what if the two week end and we find out that we dont belong to each other”i said
“Then thats the end of it,then we will both live our seprate ways and you can keep on seeing dora if that will make it fine with you “she said
Though it pained me to accept i finally did,i accepted it and it would do us all good,if we distant ourselves from each other then we would know how much we love each other
“Listen to me max,i love you,your the only man have ever love”she said with tears in her eyes
“Lily,my wonderful lily”i said pulling her to me kssing her
The kss grew hotter and i knew that i just cant let her go without having her for a last time
“Max we cant?”she said holding back
“No lily,this would be our lastnight together for two weeks and i cant let you go without having you close again,i just cant”i said lifting her in my arms kssing her
And within hours i was making sweet passionate l©ve to her
A few hours later she was wrapped up in my arms holding me close
“Once the two weeks finshes and we find out that we are very much inlove with each other,would you come look for me”she said
“I will my dearest,i sure will”i said feeling happy and knowing that within time we will be together again

I walked out of the room,it looked so dusty and unkept
Moving down to argentina has been the best thing that has ever happened
“Mommy,mommy uncle james is outside in his car,he has brought the new things for the house “dora said
I walked back outside and found him by the road side in his car
You might be wondering why james is with me right
He has been my friend ever since that fateful day,the worst day in my life
Max had promised to come for me by the end of two weeks but he never showed up
He never came,i even went to look for him only to be told that he had gone on a trip with his friends on that same day
I waited and waited for him to come but he never shpwed up and james who regretted the whole thing and apologised to me and told me about his plan with brenda
At first i didnt want him close to me but with Max rejection and suffering fror a love which could never be i became close with james
He has shown me that he was a trustworthy guy and that i can have him as a friend
He was the one who helped me to find this place in argentina,he has been a very good friend
And its good that am far away from max and everything else that reminded me of him
Well something will always remind me of him,two things that i cant ever get rid of and that is dora and the unborn child in me
Putting on a smile on my face,i walked out to greet james
