Sun Da’s POV
I returned to my room, dragging my legs with me.
It seemed like I had no more tears in my tears duct. I looked on into nothing with a totally blank expression.
Suddenly, the whole mansion felt so huge, so big, so empty, there was no sound, it was silent and cold.
I sighed softly and hugged my pillows. How great would it have been if we did not go to school today?
But then I would still remain in darkness. I got up from my bed and headed out of my room.
I opened the door and my eyes caught sight of something, the cheque I had written.
She really did not take it with her.
Which gold digger in the world refuses a blank cheque?
The next day
I woke up with dark circles around my eyes, I had cried myself to sleep last night and right now, that was what I was resuming.
“Hey brother!! Little brother!!” I heard my elder brother yell and I sniffed and made sure there was no single tear on my face.
“Coming brother” I yelled in reply but my voice, my voice cracked.
I ran down the stairs and forced a smile at brother who was sitting on the sofa.
“What’s wrong with you? Your face looks puffy, like you have been crying” he pointed out.
” I…. I fell down the stairs minutes ago so I cried a little” I replied with a nervous smile.
” Sun Da, that is not even a credible lie. You cried because you fell on the stairs? You really expect me to believe that?” Brother asked.
” Really! I fell all the way from the top so I….I…”
” Sun Da” brother called, his hands on my shoulder.
“What’s going on? Where… Where is your wife?” He asked and tears clouded my eyes again.
“Did you mistakenly kill her?” He asked and I shook my head in a negative response.
“I didn’t kill her, she killed me” I whimpered.
” What… What do you mean? Mum told me the both of you were doing great, is this doing great?” He asked
” We… We were doing great but then… Then I found out that she is just a gold digger, she never loved me” I cried out, fresh tears streaming down and I rested my head on brother’s chest wetting his clothes with my tears.
“It’s… it’s okay” he consoled me and patted my back.
” It’s not okay, she made me think that she loves me, she made me fall for her and now she left me!” I cried harder.
” Did she tell you herself that she is a gold digger?” Brother asked and I looked into his eyes.
“Will any gold digger call herself one?” I asked.
” Then who told you she is one?” He asked and I sniffed.
” Belinda told me” I replied.
“Bel… Belinda told you and you believed her?” He asked.
” She… She showed me the chats between Seo Jun and her ex crush, Seo Jun is trying to get money from me and elope with him” I replied and he burst out laughing.
“What is so funny? I am telling you what is hurting me!” I yelled out and he regained his composure.
“Ex crush? How could you even trust Belinda in the first place? If there is anyone praying for you and your wife to be apart, then it is Belinda. Did you even check the messages properly? I bet you did not check out for anything fishy” brother shook his head and I tried to remember if there was anything fishy and there truly was.
“Brother!” I called in sudden realization.
” What? You remember something?” He asked with a smirk.
” There was this naughty message talking about how Seo Jun missed being fked by Dave. That is not right, I deflowered Seo Jun myself” I said and smacked my head.
How could I have believed Belinda and not trust my Seo Jun.
