The Complete Woman!
Episode 16.
Three days of a lonely house, three days of quietness, three days of me, myself and my God. I remained in the visitors room because I do not want to provoke my husband by moving to out bedroom.
In this three days I decided to call unto God to break every chain holding my husband down. And every strange woman holding him with strange powers should release him by the power in the name of Jesus.
I informed mummy to join me in the three days fast. And she did without coming over to my place. I felt a peace I’ve never felt before at the end of the prayer and I heard God speak to me for the first time. And he said, ”STAND STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD, I WILL REBUKE THE DEVOURER FOR YOUR SAKE”
I jumped up and I began to appreciate God for his love and mercy in my life and for answering all my prayers.
The next day been a Saturday, I was trying to iron the clothes I would wear to church tomorrow. Its been a while since I went to church and now that I wanna go I want to look my best. Then the door bell rang. I got up to open and see who was there.
Lo and behold, it was she, the devil herself!
I began to plead the blood of Jesus over me as she tried to step in. I stopped her from coming in. She smiled and looked at me.
Me: Marvis what do you want? What are you doing in my home.
Marvis: Can I come in?
Me: No you can’t Marvis state your mission and leave. If you came to look for my husband, (I made sure I stressed the husband to her hearing) yes! That’s right, if you came to look for my husband then am sorry he is not at home. But of course you should know where he is.
Marvis: Dani I did not come here for your husband, I came here to see you. And not because anyone asked me to but because its what I wanted to do.
Me: Why? After housing and taking my husband away you still have the guts to come over to my house? For what?
Listen let me tell you Marvis, he is my husband, mine do you hear that mine and no one can take him away from me you hear that? You can only be his concubine and that’s what you will ever be. But let me tell you that in this that you are doing there is God watching us and in his time he release his judgement. Now leave my house
Marvis: Dani relax and keep quiet you don’t know anything. All you know how to do is rant. Rant that does not carry weight.
Me: Marvis leave my house I’ve heard.
Surprisingly Marvis pushed me from the door and bounced into the house as if she had the house more than myself.
Marvis: Abeg leave my way joor. Listen let me tell you. If I wanted your husband you won’t be able to stop me. And nothing you do will stop me.but I dont want your husband. Yes I did like him before but I’m done with him.
I came here to inform you that I’m no longer interested in him.
I watched as Marvis moved around my house staring from the photo on the wall to the furniture’s and everything.
Me: Marvis what do you want from me? Please leave my house I was busy before you came in.
Marvis: Do you know your problem? Your problem is your pride. You are so filled with pride and that is what will destroy you.
Me: Thank you Marvis, please go.
Marvis: I’ve been watching you from afar. And I have seen how you’ve tried to settle this thing on your own. I’ve also seen how you’ve failed, I’ve seen how your husband, your so called Isaiah how he treats you, I have seen how he disrespects you and it sometimes excites me to watch you suffer.
Me: Marvis what did I ever do to you? Why do you hate me so much like this? You are so bent on destroying my husband, my marriage and my happiness, why? What did I ever do to you? Isaiah chose me over you why won’t you just accept it like that? Why?
Marvis looked at me in a very pitiful way that I myself became confused.
Marvis: So you really think I am still crazy over your husband. You think I am in love with him. So you didn’t understand when I said I was done with him? Let me spill it out in a much clearer way to you. I am done with Isaiah. God works in a very mysterious way you know? When Isaiah chose you I almost lost my mind because I so much believed that he was meant for me. I cried and almost went mad. I thought of so many evil ways to hurt you. But I realized I couldn’t do anything to you because I was not that kind of a person. It was your thought on my head that made me have that accident on my way home from your wedding.
Me: I would have preferred you hurt me Marvis than all you’ve done to me. You stole my husband from me, right from my wedding day, and you kept him with you for days when I was supposed to be on my honey moon. (Starts crying) Marvis that is the most wicked thing you could ever do to any woman.
Marvis: Honestly speaking ehn, I enjoy seeing you suffer and cry like this, you know why? Because you are so stupid. You are very very stupid. You still believe even up till this point that I am the one destroying your home. Then you are even more stupid than I thought.
I didnt understand what she was trying to say so I just stared at her.
Marvis: For months now I have watched you cry and shout my name and honestly I didn’t care one bit, so long you were suffering. I was done with you and your husband the minute he put that ring on your stupid finger. I cried to God to help me and give me my own man. The thought of you and him made me hit my car on my way home and I know you won’t believe me but I don’t know who called your husband from your honeymoon. I know he came that night and I also know he left that same night. What gave me the greatest surprise was when your mom called me asking of him. I immediately knew that your man had not returned home from that night, and so to hurt you I played along and told your mom he was sleeping in my house.
Me: What are you trying to say?
Marvis: Am telling you that you’ve been praying amiss and calling the wrong name to God stupid!
I have nothing to do with your husband, infact since my accident I haven’t set my eyes on him.
Me: I dont believe you, why are you now coming to tell me now?
Marvis: If you like you believe me or not I don’t really care. And I am telling you now because God has heard my cry and given me my own man and He has told me I must let you know the truth in order for me to be happy in my own relationship and that is why I am telling you.
You need to pray it right. When you keep attacking God with the wrong prayers, He just sits and watched you. God has given us wisdom but we fail to use it and so when we do stupid things He just sits and watch us and hopes that we realizes soon and seek His help in the right way.
Most Christians make this mistake everyday, we know that God is not a killer yet we pray for him to kill for us how do you think he will answer that prayer? The Bible says God rejoices over the repentance of a sinner, yet we go ahead and pray that God kills that sinner how do you believe he will answer.
Aunty B is hurting you, yet you keep praying for aunty A to be disgraced and exposed how do you think God will answer. Sometimes we should learn to pray right. If you don’t know what you are fighting against simply pray and say God help me, deliver me, save my marriage. Don’t be specific in something you are not sure of.
I watched as Marvis preached to me, I saw how serious she was. I didn’t want to believe she was innocent after all. But something kept telling me she was telling the truth.
Marvis: Sister Dani, I am not the enemy of your home. I was a broken hearted frustrated sister I wanted you to feel hurt but not like this. Not in the way you’ve felt it. Watching you suffer was my delight but I didn’t cause your suffering. I am sorry I kept quiet for this long, I just didn’t think it was my business to tell you.
Me: If what you are saying is the truth? Then how about those calls, you called him severally, you texted him, I saw the name.
Me: You saw the name, did you confirm the number?
I became so confused as I stared at her.
Me: If its not you, then who?/who is destroying my home?
Marvis: (smiles) that is something you are going to have to find out yourself. Seek God and you will find Him. Get your prayers right. (She walks away and I stood there dumbfounded watching her leave)
