[A_BOYFRIEND]
Only if I could have access to her heart… AIDEN
LAKSHMI
It’s the fifth day and I’m crazily in love with Anderson.
In love?
His love never left my heart for once. I had always being in love with him. Only that I never wanted it.
I ignored the heart that kept moving me to love. I’d better shave me hair to the brim and remain a nun than love another guy.
We’ve been going shopping, going to cinemas, going on trips and vacations. It had been growing and grooming the love I have for him.
His smile alone melted my heart. His laughter made bells jingle in my stomach.
He did everything for me. I was indeed happy for five days. He was my soulmate.
I’m madly in love with him. But I can’t accept him.
I can’t accept to be in love or date any guy.
I had hurt him severely in the past. He does not deserve someone like me. I’m a piece of shit.
My pride has been destroyed
My ego has been evacuated
Falling for Anderson again wasn’t what I bargained for. I tried to ignore the feelings I’m having but it’s not
I dislike seeing him with other girls. My heart beats faster when I’m with him.
His smiles alone can make me filled up.
It’s love but falling for the wrong person.
I’m scared to hurt him the second time again.
The more I’m pushing him away,the more he’s coming near and the love becoming stronger
I just can’t accept Anderson’s love for me. He loves me genuinely but I just can’t accept him
I watched him as he tided up the kitchen. He prepared breakfast for me.
He’s a real man, very cool, gentle and handsome .
“Stop staring at me Lakshmi”
He said joining me at the living room.
He sat beside me and held my hands
“Stare all you want”
He said spouting his lips. He’s so cute.
I just have two days to stare all I wish.
I’m disappearing again after two days. I’m sorry Anderson
“Open your eyes”
I said to him as his eyes were closed tightly. He thought I would kiss him
“Huh?”
He said opening his eyes slowly
“Open”
“Ain’t you staring any longer?”
He said frowning his face a bit
“You said to stare not to kiss”
I said stoking his hair with my fingers
“Oh! I said that”
He said admits smiles
I nodded my head twice in agreement
“Lakshmi?”
“Huh”
He suddenly sat up straight
“What of your siblings”
He said looking deep into my eyes
“Roshni and Arnold?”
I asked him smiling
“Yeah and your dad”
He interlocked his fingers with mine
“Roshni is now a Business manager while Arnold is in his last year in Medical school”
I said smiling
“Wow..That’s great”
He said raising his thumb up
“My dad is at the hospital”
I said as my face turned gloomy
“Why?”
“He’s in a vegetative state, since six years ago”
I said as tears streamed down my face
“I’m sorry about that”
He said as he hugged me tightly
“It’s okay, thanks”
“I promise to stand by you Lakshmi, I’m not letting you go ever again”
He said as fresh hot tears streamed down in earnest.
I’m so sorry Anderson. Only if I can accept your feelings
After two days, your promise won’t mean anything again
“Are you going home?”
He asked me as I disengaged from him
‘Yeah, but I need some files at the office ”
I said standing up
“Can I drive you? You have a mood swing already”
He said with a worrisome voice
“Yea”
I nodded my head once
He took his key as he held me by my arms leading me outside.
I’m just so sorry I have to do this.
Even though I’m crazily in love
Even if I’m foolishly loving you again
I can’t make you happy
I’m not the best woman for you.
AIDEN
“So where is she?”
I asked Scarlet, Lakshmi closest friend and my class mate in high school
“I don’t know Aiden, She almost tore me apart the other day”
She said packing up her files
“Scarlet you know I love you?”
I said smiling. That’s the tactic I use in getting Scarlet.
She just can’t refuse me. She knows I’m deeply in love with Lakshmi
“Not like the love you’ve for Lakshmi, so get out!”
She said throwing a book at me
“Scarlet please, I missed her”
I said changing my face
“She doesn’t even know I’m friends with you, she does not know we’re close”
She said picking up her book herself
“Just let her know, Scarlet can’t you help me?”
She stared at me viciously
“I’ve been friends with you for over nine years so I can help but..”
She came towards me …
“But?”
“I think she isn’t ready to love any one, she does not have a boyfriend yet!”
She said picking up her bag
“Really?,I love her so much”
I said removing the bag from her hands and assisting her
“I know”
She held the bag as she crossed it over my shoulders
Scarlet could be childish.
She wants me to carry her bag.
We sometimes behave like twines
I’m glad Lakshmi does not have a boyfriend yet
“Should I give you a ride home?”
I asked her
“Yeah,Lakshmi isn’t coming to the office any loner”
She held my arms as we moved out of the office
We got outside as I obliged to open the door for Scarlet .
The sight of someone coming out of a car got me by surprise.
Lakshmi??
I left Scarlet as I moved towards her.
Then I suddenly realized she came with a man
The only brother I know she has is Arnold.
She held the man by the hands as she walled towards me
“Aiden c’mon let’s go”
Scarlet said holding my hands. She didn’t notice Lakshmi coming towards our side
“It’s Lakshmi!”
I said pointing my index finger to her direction.
She froze at the sight of the man she’s coming with
“Anderson?”
She said as she widened her eyes in disbelief
“You know him,who’s he?”
I said facing her
“It’s…”
“Aiden??”
Lakshmi voice cut Scarlet off her words.
I faced her as she was surprised to see me and Scarlet together..
“Who’s he Lakshmi?”
The guy beside her asked
“He’s..”
She wanted to talk but..
“I guess I have to introduce myself, I’m Laskmhi’s boyfriend. Anderson Silva”
WTF!!!
