Can you be mine?_ANDERSON
SCARLET
I stayed far behind the entrance of Aiden’s. I just wanna catch a glimpse of him. It’s been over two weeks since I’ve seen him
My heart beats itch each time I’m missing him. I can’t let mine be like Lakshmi.
She has became a shadow of herself. She hardly remember to eat or do things. She’s just hurting herself.
That’s why I ain’t giving up on Aiden. I stretched my neck if I could see him. It’s already late, he’s suppose to be back
I held unto my bag as I picked up my car key which fell down.
“Maybe he ain’t back yet”
I whispered to myself
“I’m back!!”
A voice interrupted me as I immediately looked back.
I didn’t notice the big flower lawn behind me as I tripped over but his strong hands held my waist tight to prevent me from falling
Gosh!
It was Aiden!
I stared at him as he looked deep into my eyes. He’s just so handsome
He used his other hand in grabbing my waist
“You’re kinda heavy”
He said trying to put me up
I immediately drag myself away from him
“Someone’s on my my mind, that’s why”
I said trying to stand well
“I see!”
He exclaimed.
The silence was becoming awkward as I decided to leave
“I..on.. I only came here to check something, Then”
I said as I turned trying to leave
“Follow me, let’s talk”
He said as he held my hands
I followed him to the park as we both sat down on a paved line
“You’ve not been picking my calls”
I said trying not to look up to him
“Yeah”
He handed me a cup of hot coffee
“Why?”
I asked him as I slightly met his gaze.
“Nothing”
He said coldly
Tears formed in my eyes as I tried my best not to let it fall free
“If you’re tired..tired of the friendship, let me know instead of hurting me”
I said dropping the coffee
“Let’s end the friendship!”
He said stiffly .
I couldn’t keep the tears in a bondage anymore as it streamed down my face continuously
“Okay, it’s fine, it’s really okay”
I said standing up immediately
I knew Aiden would stop the friendship.
“It would seem weird being friends with someone who loves you, I can understand. I’m sorry”
I said as I walked away from him
“Scarlet”
His voice stopped me abruptly
I whipped the tears off my face as I waited without turning to face him
“Let’s stop the friendship and start a relationship!!”
His words hit my ear drum as I turned immediately
“Huh?”
I said in bewilderment
“Please give me a chance”
He said standing up
Tears streamed down his face
I ran up to him as I hugged him so tight
“Aiden!”
I said as I rested my chin in his shoulder crying really hard
“I’m sorry for not noticing your love for over 6 years, I promise to make it up to you”
He said as he disengage from me..
“You’re crying Aiden?”
I asked him in surprise
“Fool, you too you’re crying!”
He said
“Jerk, it’s because I’m happy”
I said cleaning the tears off his face
“I’m sorry Scarlet”
He said as he pulled me in for a hug
“Me too”
I’m glad Aiden is mine. I’m so happy
I love him so much.
LAKSHMI
I walked out of room as Roshni told me I have a visitor
I walked down the stairs
“Roshni, who’s the person?”
I asked her
“I don’t know either”
She said resting her head on the arm chair
Who could it be?
It couldn’t be Scarlet.
She could have entered
I opened the gate as I stepped outside.
I looked at the figure beside me
“Anderson?”
I whispered to myself
“Hi Lakshmi”
He said coming nearer
How did he get to know my house
I turned as I wanted to get inside back
He held my hands stopping me
“Lakshmi please”
“I’ve nothing to say Anderson”
I said as my voice turned sour
“Lakshmi stop hurting yourself please, you think I’m happy with all these contract Bullshits?”
He said still holding me
“Anderson let me go, I’m not the right woman for you!!”
I said as tears streamed down my face
“I love you Lakshmi, can’t you see that?”
He said looking into my eyes
“So stop all this shits!”
He continued
“What do you expect me to do? Fine.. I love you too Anderson!! What fact does that change??”
I screamed at him
“It changes the fact that we could make our relationship work!!”
He shouted at me
“Anderson?”
I said silently
“Please Lakshmi, I promise not to hurt you. I’m sincerely I love with you”
He said as I returned my gaze downwards
“Look at me Lakshmi, do you love me?”
He raised my chin up
“Yeah, I do”
I nodded my head twice
“Be my girlfriend please, will you?”
He said holding my arms
“Are you still asking me?”
I said smiling
“I love you so much Lakshmi”
He said pulling me closer for a hug
“I love you more Anderson!”
Tears fell off as I closed my eyes
I hope the relationship could work
I love Anderson so much
More than anything!!!
