The kids has already left for school,even jun pyo has gone to work..
So I was only the one at home..
Suddenly,the house became dark..
I wasn’t alarmed because I was informed that Lord Andrew will be visiting today,but I wasn’t expecting him now..
The darkness gradually cleared away revealing Lord Andrew and some of his cabinets…
I quickly glanced at the helpers and as usual Lord Andrew has put them into deep sleep…
“Greetings my Lord! It’s a pleasure to have you in my house” I said with a slight bow..
“I’m not here for pleasantries..I’m worried about what’s to happen”
“What could be troubling my Lord?”
“When the sheep is endangered and his shepherd is in oblivion,the sheep’s cry for help is in vain”
“You speak in parables my Lord..i don’t seem to comprehend what you’re saying”
“The divine bell in our kingdom has signified that destruction is about to befall the earth..its time to tell the chosen one about it,before it’s too late”
“But.uhm..
“Looking through your heart,I can see you’re worried..But you have to do this for humanity sake,don’t let your emotions control you”he echoed and vanished with others following suit..
After a while,the helpers got up not knowing what had happened to them..
“What are you guys waiting for? Go back to your duties” I yelled,pouring my frustration on them..
? Sapphira’s POV ????
The school bell finally rang..
“Thank goodness! Its school over” I muttered and heaved a sigh..
I kept on feeling restless throughout the class,I don’t know what’s wrong with me..
For some strange reasons I felt like going to the sea shore..
There’s one close to my school..
But my silly bodyguard won’t let me go there..
What should I do?
Yeah I have an idea! I will go meet my brother…I’m sure my bodyguard won’t be able to stop me when she sees kizito with me..
“What’s wrong saphy? You’ve been quiet all this while” Carrie my best friend said,bringing me out of my thoughts..
“Uhm..its nothing,I’m sorry guys but I have to leave now” I said
“But..why?stay a little while please” she said,pouting her lips..
I’m not gonna fall for that..
“Maybe tomorrow, i gat to go.Goodbye guys see you tomorrow” I said and ran off..
I ran towards kizito’s classroom..
“Stop running miss,you might hurt yourself” Cilia my annoying bodyguard said,running after me..
Aish! Why won’t this lady leave me alone?
“Hey! Who the heck are you to control me?” I asked,giving her a hard stare..
“I’m sorry..but would you mind telling me where you are heading to?” She asked..
“That’s none of your business”
“I’m just doing my job..if you don’t tell me where you’re heading to,I will be forced to drag you back home” she threatened..
“Are you threatening me?” I yelled..
“I’m not,I am just warning you..I have done that before and I can still do it again”
Yeah she’s right..
She has dragged me back home before and when I complained to mum,she took cassie’s side instead of mine..
“Are you really a human or a robot? What could have made you accept to be my bodyguard? I mean don’t you want to get married or do you want to be my bodyguard forever?” I asked but she didn’t reply..
“OK fine! Look over there,that’s my brother’s class..I want to have a word with him”
“Saphira! What are you doing here?”
I looked back and was happy to see kizito..
“Thank goodness you’re here..I want to go to the sea shore and my bodyguard won’t let me go,unless you come with me” I said
“I’m sorry but I can’t come with you..we will be having test tomorrow,I gotta study” kizito replied..
“Please come with me,we won’t spend much time there..please,please” I said,giving him a baby face..
“Fine! Let’s go” he said,walking out..
“Thanks! ” I giggled and followed suite..
We entered into the car and drove off..
We kept on chatting and laughing all the way..
“I don’t know why mum gave me such an annoying bodyguard..she would have looked for a cute dude,not a lady..I’m not a le$.bian you know”
“I really feel for you..I can’t imagine having a bodyguard”
“Kizito I have an idea..why not get married to her, In that way she will become my sister in-law and I will be finally free..” I teased
“Ewww..she isn’t my type” he replied and we burst out laughing..
