Monica was sitting on a bench facing the field, everyone else was engaged in one activity or the other but she lied to the teacher that she is not feeling well.
“Maria why is your sister sitting alone?” A girl named Tara asked
Maria looked at Monica who was sitting a bit far, she looked lost.
“I don’t know” Maria shrugged
“Then go find out” Tara said and added “Monica is not the quiet type”
” Excuse me” Maria said before dropping the rope in her hand.
” What’s up?” Maria ask sitting beside her
“Why are you here?” Monica asked
” I should ask you that” she said
” I told the teacher that I’m sick” she said
” Liar, you have been acting like this since Grace dropped the bombshell” Maria said ” don’t you want her to leave?”
“Do you?” Monica replied with a question
“Of course not but she’s doing it for our sake… If she stays money won’t walk into our house” Maria said and Monica chuckle
” You are right” she smiled
” So, let’s support her, once we graduate we will be able to support her too, that way she won’t have to leave us” Maria said and Monica nodded
” Smile now” Maria pulled her cheek ” you look like a ghost when you frown”
“You!” Monica glared as she raised her hand to hit Maria but she ran away
“Come back here Maria” she yelled running after her

Ariel has been waiting for Tommy to get back from school, he left with Ethan in the morning so she didn’t see him.
She is going to give him what he deserves because of him Ethan raised his voice at her.
“Julia!” Ariel yelled as she walked to the small playing ground in the mansion it was meant for Tommy and Ariel’s kids if she happens to have one in the future which I don’t think will happen.
“First lady” Julia bowed
“Where is he?” She asked staring around “I said where is that boy?”
“He’s… He’s” Julia sturter
“What happened to your voice? Can’t you talk anymore? I said where is Tommy? ” She yell
” Nanny Julia” Tommy who is unaware of the danger waiting for him
“A… Aunt Ariel” he sturter letting go of the butterfly in his hand, Julia dared him to get one
So he went to get one for her but now it seems like she’s in hot soup.
“Look at him acting all innocent when he is nothing but a little d’vil” Ariel said
” First lady, don’t call him that” Julia said
” Watch your mouth lady, you are nothing but a nanny” Ariel said before walking towards Tommy whose legs felt so heavy to move.
“You were acting all innocent when I was talking yesterday, why? You were waiting for your brother”
” You went ahead to feed him lies, why did you do that? Was it because you wanted him to get mad at me? Answer me! ”
” Aunt” he call as tears fall from his eyes
” Don’t call me that? I am not your aunt! I will never have something like you as a family! ” She yell and purposely drag him out of the playing ground.
” First lady have mercy” Julia pleaded as she followed them
“I am sorry aunt” Tommy begged
“Don’t call me aunt, it’s first lady or ma’am” she yell still pulling him to a destination known to her alone
“First lady please” Julia pleaded
By this time most of the maids were watching the scene, everyone knows the first lady is the d’vil incarnate but they never knew he could be this cruel.
Ariel stopped by the pool as a smirk displayed on her lips. “You won’t dare talk bad about me next time” she said before pushing him into the pool.
” Auuunt”
” First lady”
” Ohh my goodness”
” Jeeesus”
Different voice was heard at the same time a water splash everywhere because of the huge force.
“Tommy!” Julia yell kneeling by the pool side
Ariel walked away not minding the stares she was getting from the maids, she hates everything about Ethan and his family, she cares less if the boy dies.
“He is drowning…. Help! Save him!” Julia yell as tears fall from her eyes
It will be a huge case if the younger brother of the president dies.

?At An Interview ?
The president could be seen walking into the huge building with body guards surrounding him.
“It is nice to have you here Mr President” a guy who goes by the name Mark greeted with a handshake
“Same here Mark” Ethan said
“This way” he gesture with his hand and Ethan followed him
Ethan was already seated with Mark beside him with a huge table in front of them and a beautiful wallpaper of the American flag behind them.
“We are on in, 3, 2, 1” the director announced and after that Mark spoke.
“Good afternoon fellow citizens, I hope you are having a great time, we are here in About My Country show live with the most respected man in America, who is none other than, His Excellency Ethan Tobias Ramon” he announced and the camera turned to Ethan
“It’s nice to have you on the show your Excellency” Mark said with the camera on the both of them
” Thank you Mark” he said with a smile
“Citizens, we are going to interview our beloved president on the issue that is presently going on in the county, Food Scarcity” he said

?At the agency ?
” I really wonder what he has to say concerning the situation” Nina said as she watched the show with Kiara and some other staffs
” He is going to make up some excuse” a girl said
” Grace come and watch TV” Aliya called me
“Huh?” I arch a confusing brow
“The president is live, he is being interviewed concerning the issue on ground” she said literally dragging me to sit.
I sat beside her and everywhere was silent only the interviewer question was heard.
“What is your plan? I mean what has the council decide as a solution to this problem?” Mark asked
” Well first I will like to tender and apology to my people, I know it has not been easy…”
We could not hear the rest of what he has to say when Kiara said. “He is so considerate, he is apologizing first”
“He must be ro.mantic too, aww the first lady is really lucky” Aliya said and my mind drifted to the first lady proposal.
‘if I accept her proposal I will get to see this handsome face everyday’ I thought as I stared at the TV not hearing a thing the president was saying because I was lost in my own thoughts.
“Yes we agree” I heard almost everyone chroused making me raise my head to see the president smiling, for a moment I felt my heart melt as if the smile was meant for me
“That is it for today on About My Country, kindly send your opinion as a message to our Instagram account and you can send a video on tik tok, hope you enjoyed the interview see you next time once again I am your host Mark” he wink at the camera and an advertisement was displayed
Everyone brought out their phone to type a message while some started making video
“Grace aren’t you going to send a message?” Aliya asked me
” What will she send? I am sure she has no idea of what to send” Kiara said
” I don’t need to send a message ‘i can just tell him in person'” I thought that last part
” Excuse me” I said and walked away
“Arrogant brat” Kiara said loud enough for me to hear but I ignored her
I have not even made my decision yet, if Monica does not want me to go I will just stay behind so I have to listen to her opinion when I get home.
