They rung the bell for the next period, martial arts l dare not miss that class for anything.
I took the diary and kept it in my backpack.
I got into the class and l couldn’t find Lindon.
Where did he go? Well not my business.
Probably he went looking for Clarissa, l said sarcastically and rolled my eyes.
I took one bubble gum from my back pack and the martial arts teacher walked into the class.
Lindon walked in after, his hair looked messy.
“What happened to you?” I whispered.
“It’s nothing” he said sat beside me.
The door opened and Maya walked in.
What’s a werewolf doing here?
“What’s a werewolf doing here? My classmates all asked as all eyes turned to Maya.
“Leave my class, werewolf, you are causing distractions” the martial arts teacher said.
“A teacher said l should call the young master” she said.
“There are many young masters here, who exactly” the teacher asked and she pointed at Lindon.
“Lindon stared hard at her and got up after taking excuse from the martial arts teacher”
“Ouch! My stomach aches badly” l cried.
“Miss Aries, please leave my class” the martial arts teacher said.
I don’t usually miss martial arts classes but today l will have to, l don’t know what that werewolf wants to do with lindon cause l sensed she was lying.
I came out of the class and followed behind them.
“Where are you taking me to?”Lindon asked as they have already passed the staff room.”
“Lindon, am sorry l lied, but l have something to tell you” Maya said nervously.
“What is it?” Lindon asked.
“Am pregnant Lindon”she said and l gasped.
They turned to my direction but l hid quickly.
“Am pregnant for you Lindon” Maya repeated and Lindon stood frozen to the ground.
“But it was a mistake” Lindon said as he found his voice.
“I was drunk” he added.
“That mistake has turned into pregnancy,the baby is an hybrid, you know what it means, l can’t get rid of it, honestly l don’t know what to do, what will my family think of me?”
“I will marry you” Lindon said.
“What?” I yelled and they turned to my direction.
They were both gasped in surprise.
“Aries how long have you been here? Lindon asked.
“Long enough to know that you impregnated a commoner and you are even willing to marry her” l yelled as tears fell from my eyes.
“Have done everything possible for you to like me but here you are stucked with a wretched werewolf”
“You both can never be together over my dead body, you can’t have what his mine” l yelled in Maya’s face and Lindon hid her behind him.
“I didn’t know you were this protective, the other day you watched that useless human abuse me” l hate you Lindon, l hate you, l hate you” l yelled and cried.
Now it won’t be just Clarissa, am gonna wipe out her entire wretched family, since they won’t let me be.

“She is your mother” Clarissa said and l chuckled.
“She can’t be my mother Clarissa,my mother is just a commoner” l lied.
“Stop lying to me Lonrenzo,l know already that you are the crown prince” she said.
“How did you…….”
“The firmament master mentioned it earlier and have overheard Finn calling you crown prince” she replied.
“Am sorry l just didn’t want you to see me as a crown prince,l want you to see me as Lonrenzo, the one that will always come to your rescue” l said.
“I understand” she said.
“You aren’t angry with me?” I asked surprised.
“No am not, l can’t be mad at you,l would have loved to but l just can’t” she replied.
“Truth is It’s not surprising to me because l suspected it too, but have not had the courage to find out if really it’s true.
“You suspected it?but how is it even possible? If she is your mother then who is the empress?”
“We can’t conclude yet, l need evidence to fully believe that it’s true but am scared cux l don’t think l can bear to find out the truth.”
“I overheard the prime minister’s wife and the state perspector saying it,from what l heard the emperor had an affair with the prime minister’s wife and she later gave the baby to the empress, that’s what l heard but l think there is more to it.”
“Hmmm! am just! I don’t know! Am confused, if l find out this is true,l will never forgive them.”
“I will employ you, uncle Noah and the twins in my quarters, you will be treated accordingly. You can stay in one of the houses in my quarters, am going to find a way to make them not punish you for your absence in school,but from now on make sure to attend school regularly”l said.
“Yes my prince” she said.
“Don’t call me that” l said and she laughed.
“It’s my pleasure crown prince Lonrenzo” she said in sarcasm.
“Am serious here! Never you call me crown prince, just call me Lonrenzo okay! l don’t want the tittle to change things between us.”
“Okay” she said and fiddle with her fingers.
“Do you want to say something?” I asked as l watched her fiddling her fingers.
“I like you Lonrenzo” she said and my body stiffened.
“Clarissa l…..”
“It’s ok, you don’t have to say anything, l really appreciate you for always being there for me, what more can l ask for?”
“I wanted to say l like you too Clarissa” l said and her eyes beamed.
“Really?” She said.
“Then can you?” She said and paused.
“Can you kss me?”
