“Your highness”
“Where is my son? For the past one month have not seen my son” the empress said.
“Your highness, l don’t know about the whereabouts of the crown prince, for the past one month he hasn’t been in the palace either, the firmament is highly guarded, l can’t break in, l think his majesty knows his whereabouts” Alvin my personal bodyguard explained.
“Fine! I will go see his majesty,what about the task l gave you, don’t tell me you failed again.”
“Your highness, l really tried my best but her personal maid is too loyal and have high martial arts skills” he said.
“Then think of a way to get rid of her, Lonrenzo must not find out that am not his legitimate mother, the prime minister’s wife is a whore she wanted to take what belongs to me and it cost her alot, yes! It cost her her son the crown prince.
But it’s a pity, his beloved son doesn’t know her as his mother, hahahahaha! Keep an eye on her, if she tries to rebel don’t hesitate to kill her.”
“Yes! Your highness.”
“Good, come with me to go see the emperor.”
“Yes your highness.”
(In the palace, seated are the state perspector, the prime minister’s and other Eunchs)
“Greetings your highness” they chorused.
“You may sit” the empress said and knelt before her husband.
“May you live long your majesty” she greeted.
“You may rise my empress” the emperor said.
“Thank you your majesty” the empress said.
“Am sorry to offend your majesty, for the past one month l haven’t seen my son and as a mother am worried, could his majesty please let me see my son?” She said politely.
“Sit down my empress” the emperor said.
The empress sat beside her husband.
“Though the crown prince is in great danger,………”
“What ? Your majesty where is my son? What happened to him?”
“Let me finish” the emperor said sternly.
“Though the crown prince is in danger, he is in safe hands and will surely get well soon, Azeez is doing everything possible to make him well again.”
“Your majesty, please permit to visit my son, l want to see my son.”
“No woman,he shouldn’t be disturbed, he is going to be fine, be rest assured my empress” the emperor.
“Thank you for your concern your majesty, l will leave now” she said and bowed slightly then stomped off.
“Alvin prepare the carriage, l want to visit the firmament.”
“As you wish” your highness.

?Dreyfus pov?
“Bring the Phoenix book.” Master said.
“Master what are you doing?”Dreyfus asked.
“Am killing two birds with a stone”he said.
“Lonrenzo! Uncle Noah! Skylar! Maya! Lonrenzo!” Clarissa kept on murmuring.
“Leave the room” master said and l left immediately.
“What’s happening?” Finn asked as he ran over.
“Master is going to give Lonrenzo her blood now.”
“I pity them”Finn said and we heard a loud cry.
“It’s Lonrenzo” Finn said.
I wanted to rush back in but Finn held my hands.
“I don’t think master will applaud you if you just barge in there” he said and l stayed put.
We heard another cry again this time it was Clarissa.
“Dreyfus” master called through my mind.
I rushed in quickly.
“Master” l called as l stood frozen to the ground.
“Master was pinned to the wall by Clarissa and her eyes were bloodshot and her hair turned grey, she held master tightly on his neck choking him.”
“Take Lonrenzo and the book away from here” he managed to say.
“But master” l protested.
“Get out of here, l can’t die that easily” he said.
“I carried Lonrenzo in bridal style, picked the book and teleported to my room.”
“Master! Master! I have to save master” l said and teleported.
In a second l arrived firmament and barged into the room.
I gasped in fear at the scene before me.
Master was on the floor in the pool of his own blood,same with another young man l can’t recognize.
And in the other end of the room Clarissa held the empress on her neck and choked her hard as she coughed terribly.
On seeing me, she dropped the empress and the empress slumped to the ground with a loud thud.
And in a swift second she was holding my neck too.
Is this really Clarissa?!
