Chidinma was confused,thoughts ran through her head.
“Did he see me stepping out of rema’s car?”
“Is this a trick question”
“Should I tell him now,once and for all?”.
“I am really scared”.
“Speak up Chidinma,why did you keep Philip waiting and whose car was that?.”
“Am ready tired now. I will call Philip to apologise,I will make it up for him tomorrow. Am really sorry,dad” chidinma said,pleading enough. Hampson nodded.
“I hope what happened today doesn’t repeat itself”
Chidinma nodded, she wished she could open her mouth to talk. Well, each steps at a time,maybe I should first ask him the reason he hates royals so much,then she will know the next step to take.

Light opens back at Nora,everything was set for Iglowbygold shoot.
Her hair was wet and scattered,she wore a strapless bra with a nude coloured pant,all are sexyloran designs.
She posted and pictures of her were taken.
The editor scribbled down some important things.
After the pictures were taken, Cynthia covered her.
“The shoot was came out well”
“Yes,I love it”
Nora smiled gently as the team commended her.
“A very clean shoot”
“I chose the best model,the best of the best” Loran bragged.
“I can’t wait to see her in the designs. Joel lost in this one” Loran assistance said,Loran curved out a smile then winked at Nora.
Cynthia held the designer clothes. “I think she will fit perfectly to all the outfits”
“She has a nice skin”
He zipped it down and removed it while Nora raised up her hand.
Loran wrapped the tape around her waist.
“The runway gown will reduce waist by 3 or 4,her waist is not narrow enough. She needs a waist trainer”.
“Allysia check her hip”
The other girl wrapped the tape around her hip.
“Perfect,it’s equal”.
Loran nodded and walked out,he received a call.
“She’s just what Loran needs to model his stuffs”Cynthia added.
Nora walked into the dress room and got dressed,the gown shoot will be tomorrow.
“Nora,it’s moving!!
“Oh my goodness!!!
Cynthia screamed happily showing Nora the broadlive of the shoot she just did,people loved it and they are already buying the same products already.
Nora smiled satisfactory,she’s getting there..
“Am increasing your salary by 50%” she said.
“Thank you” Cynthia added.
“The teams are out. Are you celebrating with them?” She asked.
“Is there a need?,what’s my schedule tomorrow” Nora asked.
“Perfect Skin representative came to see Loran,are you sure you still don’t want to join the party?” Cynthia asked.
“Let me think about it” Nora replied, pretending to be thinking about it.
“Fine” she finally said.
Cynthia smiled, she helped Nora in changing her gown. She walked out.
The hotel where the celebration was going on was dimmed,low lights of different glisten from all angles beautifully.
“Drink” Nora said,the waiter bowed and went to her.
*Oh my god it’s Nora Edwards.
Nora picked a drink.
The waiter smiled.”can I get a picture with you,please?”
She brought out her phone happily.
“With that dirt you call a phone,never. Come and take a picture with me whenever you’ve gotten an expensive phone” Nora smiled and walked away.
The waiter walked away in tears. “You don’t need to cry,okay” she told herself.
“Samuel,meet my top model~~ Nora Edwards” Loran introduced as Nora came into view.
Samuel,a young multi billionaire glanced at Nora then took a sip of his wine.
“Hi” Nora smiled and stretched her hand for a handshake. Samuel was more than Cynthia described, she once heard he pays models well.
“Hey” Samuel replied,he didn’t shake hands with her.
Nora dropped her hands down in disappointed.
Does she even knows what disappointment means? Not even shame?.
“Don’t mind me,I don’t dare to touch pretty ladies” Samuel replied,he walked away,picking a call. A tiny necklace in his neck.
Why does it looks so familiar? She felt she has seen it somewhere but where??
“Chris,where did you say you are!!!! Samuel asked on the phone.
“Am on my way,brother”

Samuel looked back,Chris appeared from behind. Nora knew him. Chris is rema’s best friend. But what are they doing here.
Chris glared at Nora,”this traitorous woman” he scoffed.
Nora noticed it. Samuel and Chris had the same necklace on,she still felt she had seen the necklace somewhere.
“Where’s Rema?” Samuel asked.
“On his way!!
“Come on,bye Loran”
Samuel picked his phone and walked away.
Nora felt defeated,she couldn’t get close to Samuel,she couldn’t get him to make use of her as his model.
What was she thinking?
Samuel and Chris are brother’s… She didn’t figure it out earlier… and they are even close to Rema, definitely they knew her bad side.
“Come on, Nora I need your service” Loran whispered into her ears.
“Again,am tired now” Nora replied. Loran always want too much from her,he wants her in bed always.
Is this the price she has to pay to become popular?

Just then a car drove in. She saw the car brand…only rema drives that type of car.
She looked away,she felt defeated already and that’s why she will put in more effort to destroy Chidinma.

Next morning?.
Olive got ready already,she waited patiently for Chidinma. When she wasn’t coming down,she decided to check her in her room.
She heard running water in the bathroom, definitely she was still bathing.
She noticed how lazy she was this days. Soon she came down,in towel which was tied in a knot.
“I will be done within five minutes” Chidinma told her,applying the oil she uses as cream.
“What drug is that?” Olive opened her Herman’s bag.
Chidinma turned slightly. “What drug does it look like?”.
She got dressed,she wore the peach yoga wear.
She looked just great,her perfect figure 8 in view. She was really pretty.
“A fertility drug…you want to get pregnant” olive said.
Chidinma nodded. “I just bought it yesterday,I will start using it today. It will work right?”.
“Whaaattt? You can get pre.gnant without taking drugs” olive advices.
“It will take long,rema made love with me twice now and am not pre.gnant” she replied.
“I understand but don’t take this drug,am throwing it away. You will get pre.gnant without it”
“Maybe if you have sex again….but won’t your career be at stake,you just started it.
Chidinma shrugged,she curled her edges,making her natural hair which was braided in cornrows fall freely in her mid back.
“I know,but that’s the only way for now. I don’t want to hurt Rema,if I get pre.gnant for him. Dad will have no choice than to like him. Let’s go” she sprayed her perfume and wore the black sneakers. They walked out.

Joel explained things to Thelma. He couldn’t believe he lost 18 sponsors which was his biggest size far,no one wants his designs and product again eversince Nora signed out of his industry.
Joel felt he has lost face in the business community to Loran who is now trending because of Nora.
He has just 2 sponsors left,he needs good models who will clear the bad name Nora created for him, that was why he came to see Thelma.
The commercial complex was busy as well,Chidinma didn’t head straight to the audition hall,she went to see Thelma who was waiting for her.
“good morning ma’am” she greeted, her eyes scanning around, she saw ten girls in a straight line. Tanya was among.
Chidinma waved at her.
Thelma handed Chidinma some files and showed her where to sign. Thank God nonso taught her the meaning of signature,how to perfect a signature she will be using.
Nonso had been helping her greatly. All the files Thelma gave her to read, nonso helped her read it out in a recorder…
That’s how she has been learning.
“Here,too” Thelma said.
Chidinma signed there.
“Perfect! Congrats,you got the role of “Helena” the second female lead in the movie titled “Immortal”, a supernatural story written by Adesola Adeomowole, here are the scripts”
“Okay ma’am. What else again”..
“And…..”
Thelma looking into the system, just then Joel walked in,looking all corporate.
“good morning Mr Joel” Thelma stood up and shook hands with him. Joel smiled at her,his eyes not leaving Chidinma.
“What a ravishing beauty” he thought. He admires girls who look natural.
He took his eyes away but his eyes won’t give up, He glanced at her again,taking in his button lips in.
How can a single ladies carry the beauty of several women???????
Thelma noticed his looks,and curved out a smile. Queen chiamaka never disappoints her by introducing Chidinma into her industry. Truthfully,she doesn’t want to accept Chidinma at first when chiamaka brought her to her, she felt like she can’t read and write.
Chiamaka had told her not to worry that the girl is smart and hard-working. She said she will catch up and she’s catching up..
Most industries wants Chidinma, offering times five just for her to advertise for their brand.
Maybe her beauty is the thing intoxicating them or she’s just lucky???
What matters is that Chidinma is currently making money for her?.
“Mr Joel,those are the models I prepared for you. I hope you like them” Thelma finally said.
“Ohh yes,ten of them right” Joel added,still stealing glances at chidinma.
“Yes, Deborah get the design…
Faster,no time” Thelma shouted to Deborah’s hearing.
She soon came out with the gowns.
“You come here,where’s your sister” Thelma beckoned to Chidinma.
“She’s coming” Chidinma replied and stood in front of Thelma’s table.
She handed her more scripts.
“You have another role invitation from “Nadiams”, theres a night party for cast meeting” Thelma explained.
“What role am I playing?”
“A billionaire’s nanny” Thelma gave her more manuscript.
“Jesus! How am I going to learn all these”
Thelma sighed and reduced her scripts.
Chidinma wants to leave.
“Still wait,am not done with you. I will attend to others first”
“Okay ma’am”
Chidinma stood watching the ten models chosen,their gowns were brought. All the dress were magnificent. Guys were in as well.
The stylist,
The make up artist
The camera man,
The editor and all that.
The girls were changing in their presence,don’t they feel shy?.
“All set” Nathan,the stylist said.
Joel spotted stretch marks on a girls back.
The girl was shocked as well. Chidinma wondered why the girl suddenly cried. “I thought it cleared”
Worst still the gown she wanted to model was open,she cried because she will be replaced.
“Is the stretch marks much?” Thelma showed up.
“Riley,why didn’t you treat it? Mr Joel am sorry,I will get another model for you” Thelma apologized and turned on the surveillance where she can watch the hall.
The girl was crying seriously,Chidinma pitied her. She knew not everyone has opportunity as her. She has queen chiamaka and also rema, obviously Thelma isn’t a nice woman. She’s only being nice to her because of Rema.
She imagined the kind of stress the girl passed to get to this level,then being rejected. She felt bad for her that she didn’t know when she spoke.
“Educator,I will take Riley’s place. I want to help her. I will pretend to be her”
Joel lit his eyeballs up. Madam Thelma wondered if Chidinma is dumb or something. “She wants to pretend to be someone else”.
Riley smiled out tears and hugged Chidinma. Joel was surprised,he has never seen someone as kind hearted as this.
“Thank you” Riley smiled.
“Are you sure you want to pretend to be her? Instead of you to take this as an opportunity,it will help you more” Thelma said.
Chidinma nodded. “Not everybody is as opoturned as me,she will feel bad if someone else take her place. I am human and I understand her feeling”.
Thelma looked at her for a while. Why is she so kind hearted.
“Thank you so much? Finally I can pay my mom surgery bills” Riley said.
Mrs Thelma couldn’t believe her ears,Chidinma had thought her a lesson today by being so kind to someone she doesn’t know.

Philip was waiting patiently again. His phone suddenly rang.
“Where are you,am there already?” He heard Chidinma voice.
He raised his head and saw her in the other end. He stood up and walked towards her.
The breath before him took his eyes away. She was so hurt.
She wore just a short bumbershot and a t-shirt which she tied in front with a matching sneaker.
Her skin was Soo spotless.
“Hi” Philip stretched out his hand for a shake.
Chidinma smiled and took his hand which she withdrew quickly.
“Over there” Philip pointed to the table he reserved.
“Umm no need,my boyfriend is waiting for me outside. That’s his car” Chidinma pointed to rema’s Lamborghini outside.
Philip didn’t get what type of game Chidinma was playing,she had the gut to bring her boyfriend.
“I just branched to say hi,like my dad requested” Chidinma added.
Philip nodded.
Her phone rang.
“Bye,my boyfriend calls” she waved at him and walked out.
Rema beeped the car opened,she entered,he drove away.
Philip stared till the car was out of sight.
“How was it?” Rema asked.
“What,honey?” Chidinma asked,she kssed Rema.
Rema parked the car and deepened the kss..
“Ouuch Rema!!” Chidinma moaned into the kss. She unlocked and ate into the hollow of his throat.
Rema resumed driving.
He drove into the hotel.
He wore his mask and stepped out with Chidinma.
He met with some business partners,they booked appointment with him,he walked back to the car and drove back to his penthouse.
His friends drove in at the same time,he wasn’t expecting them tho.
“Chris and Samuel”.
“It’s the crying crying girl” Chris chuckled as he sighted Chidinma.
“Hi,Chris” Chidinma greeted.
Samuel looked confused.
“Our wife” Chris whispered.
Samuel nodded.
“Hi,am Samuel” Samuel said,he stretched his hand for a hand shake.
He couldn’t explain the force he’s experiencing towards this girl…
Love,care,he suddenly wants to give her attention,he suddenly wants to protect her…..
But why????
Rema cleared his throat and took the shake before Chidinma could.
“You don’t stare at my girlfriend like a cup of icecream”
“Noted brother” Samuel said in a joke.
