The girls were singing and clapping their hands so loud, matching their legs on the ground as they sang. The fear that was once in their faces have disappeared and now an unexplainable joy was the expression they now wore.

They kept singing and dancing and clapping. After a while Mary gave a short sermon.

Mary: He who the son set free is free indeed,no more chains are bounding him, for where the spirit of the Lord is there is liberty, there is freedom and there is victory. And tonight our freedom is assured. We are delivered and we are set free.

And then she started singing again.

We are delivered praise the Lord
We are delivered by His word
Once we were bound by the chains of Satan
But now we are delivered praise the Lord.

As she sand, the girls followed and together they clapped even louder and danced, shouting at the top of their voices.

Meanwhile Jadeshola stood outside the house singing worship songs to God. And unlike what baba felt, the whole village was gathered outside with candles and lamps. All of them praying for Jadeshola to be victorious and set them free.

Jadeshola sang a slow worship song and then she knelt at the entrance of the door and lift both hands to heaven and cried out.

Jadeshola: Jeho………….vah!
You are the alpha and the omega the beginning and the end. The lily of the valley, the bright morning star, the one who was and who is and who is to come. There is non like you and there is non that can be compared to you.

The wind started to blow and the cloud gathered like it was about to rain. There were flashes of lightening and little sounds of thunders, as Jadeshola continued to pray.

Jadeshola: Father, this is the confidence that I have in you, that when I call on you, you will always hear me. You’ve never failed me and even now you will glorify your name in this village. For now I understand why you sent me and your daughter Mary to this place. You sent us here so that you can deliver your people from bondage, so that you can set your people free and save them from this evil that has taken over their land, Jesus the hour has come and it is time for you to prove yourself as God.

As she prayed, the wind increased and the lightning and thunder increased, fear began to enter into the hearts of some villagers, while some stood with brave hearts. Some of the villagers wanted to run away back to their houses but the voice of baba stopped them.

Baba: my people please do not entertain fear in your hearts, she may be standing there alone but we are with her in spirit. She is fighting this battle for all of us and so we have to stand with her. We cannot leave her here because of fear. If you leave her now and she loses, your children and children’s children will continue to suffer. We do not understand her God or the power she is using but if her God delivers us tonight we will forever serve that God. And since her God Has been able to bring her this far, I am certain that victory is close by. And so I stand with Jadeshola and I stand with her God.

”We stand with Jadeshola and we stand with her God” They all chorused as they joined their hands together one after the other forming a very long chain. Even those who attempted leaving came back and connected their hands.

Suddenly the doors began to open and close inside the house as the girls increased their voices quoting different scriptures.

Faith: 2nd Thessalonians 3:3
For the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen us and protect us from the evil one.

Mary: Deuteronomy 31: 6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of this evil, for the LORD our God is with us; he will never leave us nor forsake us.”

Tina:Isaiah 41:10. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

The door flunged open and Ola’s dead body was thrown into the room, he had sucked her dry and she was almost a skeleton. The girls screamed in fear when they saw this, but Mary was quickly charged up as she continued praying and quoting verses.

Mary: Psalm 5:11

Oh Lord! let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you. We take refuge in you Jesus, we take refuge in you!

Tina: Psalm 138:7
Though we walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve our lives. You stretch out your hand against the anger of our foes; with your right hand you save us.

The thunder increased as the m0nster jumped into the room with its mouth wide open and dripping with blood.

Jadeshola who has not stopped praying raised her voice high and cried.

”Save your people oh God, defend your children! Fight this fight and give us victory! Arise oh Lord and manifest your power, Jesus! Jesus! Jesus! Jesus! ” she cried out and soon the whole villagers joined her as they were all shouting the name of Jesus! Jesus!

The heavens opened up and a heavy rain began to fall, still Jadeshola remained and the whole villagers stood with her.

The m0nster inside the house moved towards Faith, with its long teeth and a long black dagger, with eyes red as fire, with teeth longing for blood, but Faith remembered what she has read and she opened her mouth and shouted.

Faith: Psalm 140:4
Keep me safe, LORD, from the hands of the wicked; protect me from the violent, who devise ways to trip my feet.

The lights became so bright that it couldn’t touch her, there was a huge fence around her and he couldn’t penetrate, he turned and faced Tina. Tina was also ready for it.

Tina: 2nd Samuel 22:3
my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation. He is my stronghold, my refuge and my savior. He has delivered me from my enemies and my foes.

He saw the wall of defence around her too, and then it turned and faced Mary, whose hands were lifted up to heaven. He hayed her and wanted to just destroy her. But Mary was a child of God and no evil can touch her.

Mary:Psalm 23

1 The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, 3 he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. 4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley,I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. 6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

Psalm 121

1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? 2 My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. 3 He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber; 4 indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The LORD watches over you— the LORD is your shade at your right hand; 6 the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. 7 The LORD will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; 8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

Psalm 91

1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” 3 Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. 4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. 5 You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, 6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. 7 A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. 8 You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. 9 If you say, “The LORD is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling, 10 no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. 11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; 12 they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent. 14 “Because he loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. 15 He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. 16 With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.”

As Mary kept on quoting these bible verses, the m0nster started screaming in pains, and the girls joined Mary as they started calling on the name of Jesus! Jesus! Jesus! And suddenly it started swelling up, until it bursted into flames. Immediately that happened the front door opened and the three girls ran out.

Jadeshola: Mary!

she screamed as she ran and gave her daughter a warm embrace. The villagers were surprised to see Tina and Faith, their parents came out of the crowd to give them a hug, for years they were assumed to be long dead and forgotten, they had come there for Jadeshola’s daughter, they didnt know their daughters were also inside the house, the people shouted and started dancing to the God of Jadeshola who had rescued them from the shackles of this evil house. And just as they were still rejoicing, there was a loud and very heavy thunder that sent the entire house crashing to the ground.

The people were happy as they danced round the collapsed house. They knelt down and asked Jadeshola to introduce them to her God and that they were ready to serve this God.

Jadeshola did just that and they stayed with baba for the next three days before going back home. However they came back to the village three months later and they built a church at that same spot which was once referred to as the cursed house.

Up till this day, the villagers have lived in peace and the village has flourished under the pastoring of pastor Tina who was once a captive in the cursed house. Jadeshola and her daughter Mary made sure to visit once in a while and to encourage and remind them that it is God who has set them free and delivered them from the evils of THE HUNTED HOUSE!

THE END!

I pray for you today, whatever evil that is tormenting your life either by your fault or the fault of others I declare them destroyed permanently from your life forever in the mighty name of Jesus!

The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous runs to it and they are saved!
