“Boss, an incoming call from Reaine’s elementary school” Kaylee rushed to Jake office with a ringing telephone
Jake collected it, picked it then placed it on his ears
“Hello is this Mr Martinez?” The unfamiliar voice asked
“Yes what’s it?”
The person said something and Jake eyes widened
“What?!!”

Some hours later**
A man rushed to Jake’s office with a bow
“What’s happening you still can’t find her?” Jake asked
“No sir” the man replied
“Just get out, you’re so useless” Jake yelled and the man rushed out
Jake sighed and slumped on his chair, then rubbed his temples with this fingers, he had been looking for Jenna for over six hours
He had even given her school a warning that if is daughter is yet to show up after 24 hours then he’d close down the school permanently
“Sir” Kaylee came in with a bottle water
“Sir you look to stressed out, have some water” she opened it and stretched it to him
“I don’t need any damn water, my daughter is f**king missing, I’ve been searching for her for the past six hours!!, I’m just so useless” He yelled out in pain, his eyes is even almost teary
Kaylee sighed and dropped the water, he looks so pitiful right now and all she wants to do is to be with him
“Sir” she moved to him and hugged him slowly
“Calm down boss, you’ll be fine trust me” she muttered
Jake didn’t push her or say anything, maybe a little comfort is what he needs now but still he’s feeling so fked up
“You’ll be fine boss, you’ve tried your best, the heavens are watching” she muttered again and mustered enough courage to snuggled her face deeper in his chest
To her it’s kind of a good thing Jenna went missing today, this is the first time she’s being too close to Jake
“Thank you Jenna” Kaylee smiled inwardly
Jake sighed and closed his eyes then let a tear drop fell off, Jenna is his only joy what will happen if she decides to leave him just like her mom, he can’t take it, no he can’t
“Daddy”
The voice made him open his eyes, even Kaylee pulled away from the hug
“Jenna” he called
“Daddy” she rushed to him and he lifted her up and hugged her like his life depended on it
“Jenna where did you go, I’ve been looking for you for the past six hours look it’s getting dark already, why did you scare me I was so worried” he said in a broke voice
“I’m sorry” she bit her lips, trying to prevent her tears
“Where did you go, who brought you back?” He asked
“I went to see Nanny” she replied
“Nanny” he replied and looked front to see Irish who’s standing by the door with a soft expression on her face.

FLASHBACKS
Six Hours Ago… Rainbow Apartment**
Irish is sitting on the green couch and playing games as usual with her laptop when a door bell interrupted her
“Who’s it this time, Della has gone to work, Kaylee has gone to work, it’s still 12am which means it’s not time to pic Jenna from school so who could it be?” Irish asked herself with a frown
The person pressed the doorbell again and Irish stood up then began going over there, the person pressed it even more
“I’m coming!!” Irish yelled and opened the door harshly

She paused when she saw Jenna standing there with red puffy eyes
“Jenna?” She called in shock
“Nanny” Jenna cried and rushed to hug her tight
“Hey what happened, wait let’s go in” Irish sighed and took her in
Nanny” Jenna cried even more, Irish confusedly took her to sit on the couch
“What’s wrong why the tears?” Irish asked, stroking her back confusedly
“My mom…my mom does not love me” she cried even more
“Your mom?” Irish asked
“In school, she told me that my mom does not love me that’s why she abandoned me” she cried even more
“Who told you that?” Irish asked
“Terra, she said mom does not love me but why don’t mom love me aren’t I pretty?” She asked
“Shhhh, you’re very pretty,stop crying already” Irish stroked her back
“Daddy has been lying to me, he told me mom is coming back, but 7 years has past, I’ve never seen my mom, ion even know what she looks like, everyone in school talks about spending time with their mom, they talk about their mom teaching them how to swim, how to ride bicycle, how to bake cookies, how to sing, so many fun things while me.. me” she cried so much that her forehead began popping veins
“Hey that’s enough, you’ll get headaches” Irish said but Jenna didn’t listen
“Why did Dad lie to me, he told me that my mummy will come but she hasn’t, he told me that mummy loves me but she doesn’t I hate my life nanny I wanna die!!” Jenna screamed out
“Don’t say that, if you die then how will your father survive or don’t you know your dad loves you too” Irish sighed
Jenna didn’t reply, she just kept on crying
“Okay how about I teach you how to swim, bake cookies, sing just like what you want your mom to do for you?” Irish asked
Jenna looked up, she has stopped crying but her tears were still rolling down
“Really?” She asked softly
Irish smiled and wiped her tears
“Actually I don’t have a father or a mother, or a sister or a brother, I don’t have any relative, ion even know where I came from, I really don’t remember anything about myself I just know that I went to a highschool with my friends Della and Kaylee, we went to a bff collage and graduated together”
“Your name is Jenna Martinez right?, Well ion have a last name like you, my name is just Irish cause I don’t know where I cane from, I’m suffering form a weird condition which is not being able to sleep at night, you do sleep every day right, you do get up to 6 to 7 hours of sleep right??, Not I don’t sometimes I sleep for 30 mins cause I’ll have to wake up and take you to school but still look at me, I’m alive, I’m not dead, ion feel like dying, I’m happy” Irish smiled
Jenna wiped at her eyes and stared at Irish in confusion
“Those this mean that you don’t have a dad and a mom and you don’t sleep at all?” She asked
“Yes” Irish chuckled
“Wow” Jenna muttered
“Yeah, so all you have to do is to write a list of what you want to do with your mom and send it to me, we’ll do it tomorrow” Irish smiled
“Thank you Nanny, I love you” Jenna smiled and hugged her tight
“Okay, young lady so how did you come here, how did you even know where I live?” Irish asked
“I have all the access to all the workers data, I saw your address from there and you’re the only one person I could think of?” She replied
“Wow then let’s go home, your father must be worried” Irish replied
“Ion wanna go” Jenna pouted
“Jenna….” Irish drawled
“Okay okay I’ll go I’m hungry do you have something I can eat?” She asked
“Well, I’m good at cooking but there’s some cheese and noddles in the kitchen” Irish replied and stood up
“You can’t cook??, How are you gonna teach me how to bake cookies then?” Jenna asked with a pout
Irish just winked and walked to the kitchen, she took a plate and cleaned it before dishing some cheese noddles
“This isn’t like that type of food you do eat in your mansion, ion think you’ll like it” Irish muttered bringing the plate
“As long as it’s from you then I’ll like it” Jenna smiled and collected it
“Why do you trust me so much?” Irish asked
“Because I love you, my teacher do tell me that trust is love and love is trust” Jenna replied eating slightly
Irish smiled and patted her hair before going to the fridge
“I’ll get you a drink” she said
After eating Jenna played some games in Irish laptop, watch some cartons before falling asleep
Irish looked at her and sighed
“What now and I don’t have her dad’s number, maybe I should wait for her to wake up” Irish muttered again before carrying Jenna to her room
“You better wake up fast before your dad starts looking for you” she said and left the room
BACK TO PRESENT
Jake slowly dropped Jenna on the ground and wiped the little tears on his eyes before facing Irish
“Thank you for being with her” he muttered, as long as it concerns his daughter then he really don’t feel ashamed
“It’s okay” Irish replied and sighed
“Jenna you stay here with your dad I’ll be at the reception” she said and left
Jake turned to Kaylee
“You can go” he said
Kaylee smiled a little and left, Jake turned to Jenna and hugged her again
“I miss you so much, I almost died” he said
“I’m sorry dad, I won’t run away next time again” Jenna smiled
“Hmm, have you eaten?” He asked
“Yes, Nanny gave me some cheese noddles, it was so delicious can I eat that this night” she pouted
“Okay” he smiled and kssed her hair
“So tell me how you got to your Nanny’s house and tell me what happened?” He asked as he carried her to his desk
Jenna smiled and began telling him everything.
“Irish” Kaylee called when she got to the reception
“Yes?” Irish turned to face her
“So Jenna was with you all this while?” Kaylee asked
“Yeah I was surprised on how she got there, she told me about her mom and everything, she said I’m the only person she could think of” Irish replied with a shurg
“Oh, is that all” Kaylee asked and flashed a fake smile
“She also said she loves me shocking right” Irish smiled
“Really shocking” Kaylee muttered and secretly clenched her fist tight.

Jake’s Mansion**
Irish just helped Jenna packed her hair into a bun
“Thank you Nanny” Jenna smiled
“You’re welcome baby, have you written your list?” Irish asked
“I’ll write it at the dinning” she replied and adjusted her pyjamas
“Alright, let’s go downstairs then” Irish made to climb down but Jenna held her back
“What” Irish asked
“Um, nanny can we be best friends please” she pouted
“You wanna be my best friend?” Irish chuckled
“Yes, I don’t have any female besties please say yes” Jenna pouted
“Okay then I’m your best friend let’s go” Irish smiled and went downstairs with her
They met Jake at the dinning dressed in a white light t-shirt and black joggers, the T-shirt really brought out his muscular upper body
“Daddy” Jenna smiled and rushed to him
“I’ll wait for you over there” Irish muttered and went to sit at the couch
“No need, come here” Jake called out
“Huh?” Irish asked
“I said come here” he repeated, Irish confusedly walked up to him and sat opposite him
Jake called for a maid and Suzy came
“Serve her” he said
“What?” Irish replied and looked at Suzy who just winked at her in return
Irish bit her lips and looked at Jake but his eyes were on his plate. Suzy served Irish and winked again before leaving
“Why is she winking” Irish glared at her and took her cutleries
“Nanny do you like it?” Jenna asked
“Cheese noddles I see” Irish smiled and took a spoon
“Delicious?” Jenna asked
“Very” Irish smiled and licked her lips
Jake didn’t know that he has been looking at her all this while especially when she licked her lips
After dinner, Jenna gave Irish the paper and yawned tiredly
“Goodnight nanny” she yawned and began climbing the stairs to her room
Irish made to leave to but Jake held her hand, she frozed and looked at her hands and he immediately retreated
“Irish right?” He asked and she nodded, looking not interested
“Jenna told me that you can’t sleep at night is that true?” He asked
“Yes” she nodded
“Oh, you don’t have to stress yourself that much waking up too early, all humans needs sleep” he said
“Okay thank you sir” she smiled and left
Jake frowned, he suddenly don’t like the way she called him sir, he shook his head and sighed before going to his room.
Irish got home and knocked the door tiredly, the door opened and
“Irish!!” A female voice sounded from no where and before Irish know it, someone jumped on her and they both fell on the floor.
