“Here are the files you asked me to work on” Irish submitted the printed copies on Jake desk
Jake just nodded with looking up at her
“Are you okay, you’ve been silent since morning?” She asked
“I’m fine” he replied
“Oh, so about Suzy will you replace her with another maid?” She asked
“Definitely” he replied again without looking at her
Irish bit her lips and nodded, she watched him acted like she want there as he picked the call and began calling madam Brook, telling her about a new replacement
After ending his call he continue working like she is not there
“Did I do something wrong why have been giving me the silent treatment since morning, last night you were all cool with me now today you…. I’ll never understand you!!” She frowned and made to leave but he grabbed her hands and pulled her to his laps
“It’s not like that I was silent because of me” he said
“Why?” She asked
“I know you still have feelings for Peter and here am I forcing myself on you, it’s making feel horrible but what can I do I mean…
He was cut short when her lips landed on his, Irish pulled away and he stared at her in surprise, did she just peck him to shut him up
“You’re getting it all wrong, I don’t like Peter anymore, it was all a crush and it didn’t last” she shook her head
Jake smiled when she said that
“Really?” He asked
“Hmm, so you don’t have to be jealous of anything” she poked his cheeks
“Then who do you like, I know you don’t like me yet but I don’t wanna give up” he said
“I… I don’t know what I feel for you, I’m still trying to figure it out, that’s why I didn’t sleep yesterday” she muttered
“Ha!, I knew it, I knew that you didn’t sleep yesterday, don’t you know that’s it’s not good for your health” he said
“You don’t have to worry about me, I’m used to it” she smiled and rested his head on his chest
“You also don’t have to worry about anything, if there’s one person I want to love then it’s you alone, I don’t want my heart to beat for anyone but you, just give me a little time I really don’t want to keep you waiting anymore” she said sincerely
Jake smiled and hugged her tight,he pulled away and cupped her cheeks
“I’ll wait baby, as long as you’ve promised to love me alone then I’ll wait” he smiled
Irish nodded, staring at his lips
“You want to kss me?” He asked, bitting on his lower lips seductively
Irish started down at him and licked her lips, the urge to kss him began getting strong
“I..” she bit on her lips
“Just say yes” he whispered and she nodded absentmindedly
Jake smiled and pushed her head down to his face, then he captured her lips and began sucking on it, Irish wrapped her arms around his neck, kssing him back.
But their beautiful moment got interrupted when the door opened and Eric stepped in

He paused with widened mouth, Irish immediately pulled away from the kss, she wanted to stand up but Jake hugged her waist tight, he didn’t let her stand or move
“Yes Eric what is it?” Jake asked
“The CEO of Thornton Investment is on the phone now” Eric cleared his throat and spoke
“Okay give it” Jake stretched his palm out, Eric walked up to him and gave him while Irish blocked her face on his chest
?Good morning Mr Ricardo, you called me so early this afternoon any problem?… He began talking and motioned for Eric to leave
Eric nodded and left while Irish looked up at Jake and waited for him to finish talking after he was done talking he looked at her and smiled
“So was that Ricardo Thornton?” She asked
“Hmm” he nodded
“OMG I’m a huge fan of his technology” she smiled
“What about mine?” He asked and she chuckled
“Funny you,I better get back to work” she smiled
“Just stay here for a bit more” he pouted
“Mr Jake, you let me go to work on” she said playfully
He smiled and released her, she stood up and waved at him before walking back to her office
Jake smiled and faced his laptop back.

The monitor beeping could be heard, everywhere kept turning dark and light every now and then in her face
After a while her eyes flew wide open, what cought her attention first was the ceiling
“Where I am?” She muttered
A nurse just walked in and smiled seeing the lady awake
“Miss, you’re finally awake, I’ll go inform him” she smiled and left
Kaylee looked at the nurse confusedly, why was there a nurse here, was she in the hospital, so she didn’t die, was she given a second chance
As she was thinking the door opened and a man dressed in neat suit stepped in,he had a kind of worried expression on his face
“Miss, I’m so glad you’re awake,damn I was worried as hell” he breathed out and ruffled his hair
Kaylee heaved and looked up
“You were the one who knocked me out with your car?” She asked lowly
“Yes I am, I’m really sorry I was in a rush for the airport and you were walking at the middle of the road I really did tried to stop my car I…
“Why did you save me?” She cut him off with teary eyes
“Huh?, Why won’t I save you?” He asked
“You should have just let me die” She said, allowing the tears to roll down her eyes
The man looked at her confusedly
“Aren’t you too young to be wishing your own de.ath?” He asked
Kaylee chuckled bitterly
“I’m going through a very hard phase of my life right now, I made a lot of mistakes in the pass and now I’m living for it, my only solution now is death and you took that from me” she yelled out

“F**k this stupid life of mine, I don’t want to leave anymore I wanna die!!” She screamed and managed to sit straight

“It is, you are not me, you don’t know how I’m feeling right now…. I wanna die I hate my life!!” Kaylee yelled, she brought her hands to the oxygen wires on her nostrils and began dragging it out
“Miss!!” The man struggled the wire with her
“If you ki.ll yourself then what about your baby?” He asked
“What baby?” She asked back
“You don’t know?, You’re two weeks pregnant” he replied
“What??” Kaylee eyes widened, the world seemed to has halted for her
“P… pregnant?” She asked and he nodded
Her mind different to when she once slept with Eric back then when she was working as Jake secretary, she didn’t use any form of protection or drink any after sx pill
“That’s it… I’m finished” she said and next thing she fainted again
“Miss… Miss” the man tapped her and a sighed
He called for the nurse
“Please make you take care of her, if anything happens please do call me I’ll be the one to settle her medical bills and all that” he said
The nurse nodded
“I’ll get going now” he said, looked back at her for some while
“Also don’t let her do anything stupid” he added before leaving completely.

She sat at the long bench, pressing her phone and crossing her legs, this would be the fifth time she’ll be sighing
“What’s taking him so damn long” she muttered and checked her wristwatch
She logged into her Instagram account and began searching for something, she stopped at a picture of Jake and smiled
“Jake Jake, you have become so big and fine now” she chuckled looking at his pictures with a smile forming her lips
“I left you for 7 years and you’ve turned to a big man even our daughter is looking so pretty” she smiled, rubbing on Jenna’s picture
“I promise to come back for you once I’m done with my target and once I get to you, I’ll never ever let you go… We’ll live and die together” she smiled
A car just stopped at her front and the same man that was with Kaylee in the hospital came down
“Babe” he called
Noami raised her head up and smiled at him, she stood up and moved to hug him tight
“Baby,I miss you” she smiled
“I miss you more hunny, though you were gone for two months, it felt like two years” he pouted
Noami just laughed and rubbed on his hair
“You’re so funny, let’s go home, I missed home and I also wanna take a shower, I feel so hot care to join me” she asked
“Ofcourse” he pecked her lips again and opened his car for her
“After you” he smiled
She smiled at him and entered, he also entered and started the car
“Fast baby I’m so hot, so hot” she bit her lips seductively and rubbed on his tighs

“Daddy” Jenna screamed when she entered with Irish, she made to enter but Irish pulled her back
“I will think your daddy is on a video call with someone” she muttered
Jake looked at them from outside and motioned them to come in
“Huh?, He said we should come in” Irish muttered
“Then let’s go in” Jenna ran in and ran up to Jake immediately
She brought her head to look at the laptop and her smile grew wider
“Grand pa and Grand ma” she jumped
“So he’s actually talking to his parents, I better go wait outside” Irish muttered
Jake motioned for Irish to come and she shook her head in a pleading way
“Come on” he chuckled
Irish bit her lips hard before walking up to them
“So mom dad this is Irish, the girl I’ve been telling you about” he introduced
“Hello dear, come closer let me see your face” Mrs Martinez said on the laptop screen
Irish took her lips in and came closer
“Good afternoon Mr and Mrs Martinez” she bowed
“You can just call us mom and dad, we know about you and my son” Mr Martinez smiled
“Huh?” Irish asked
“Don’t worry dear, we are not worried about your status, we are just happy to see our son smiling again, so when is the wedding” Mrs Martinez smiled
“Love is too soon to talk about wedding” Mr Martinez hit her
“I’m sorry I’m just so excited” Mrs Martinez squeeled
“So grandma can we come visit sometimes?” Jenna asked
“Yes baby I was about to invite you all next week, your father and I will be having a business part and I want you guys to be there” Mrs Martinez replied
“What about Jenna’s school” Jake frowned
“Quit frowning it’s just for a week” Mrs Martinez pouted
“I know I know mom, but the thing is what about Irish I’m sure she won’t be chanced to…
“Whether you like it or not, I’ve booked a flight for the four of you too Las Vegas” Mr Martinez said
“Four?” Jake asked
“Brayden will be coming to, do inform him about it” Mrs Martinez replied
“Great, that trouble maker” Jake sighed.
