Next Morning**
Irish eyes slowly flew open, she blinked twice before sitting up straight
“Where I am?” She thought, rubbing on her head then suddenly some memories began flying into her
Memories like her quarrelling with Kaylee, Kaylee pushing her down the stairs and she passing out then she remembered her dream
“Mich” she muttered, scratching on her head slightly
“Who’s he?” She thought confusedly, her head hurt a bit and she shook it
Then she remembered a little girl with an ugly face as if fire had burnt her face to bits, people calling the little girl a mon$ter and Jake he….
Her thoughts were interrupted when Carlos came in
“Miss Irish, you’re looking healthy this morning how are you feeling?” He asked going closer to her
“A bit fine” Irish replied
Carlos nodded and checked some things in her body before looking at her again
“Are you aware that you have amnesia?” He asked and she nodded
“Good, so did you remember anything when you woke up, any helpful things?” He asked
“I remembered somethings but I’m not too sure….” She creased her brows
“Okay, here’s what you’ll do, I’ll give you a scrap book and a pen, you’ll jut down whatever you remember” he said
Irish sighed and nodded
“Good, you’re just fine miss, I’ll call Jake now” Carlos smiled and walked out
Irish sighed out again, amnesia!!, When will it even end!!, As she was thinking, Jake found his way in the ward
“Irish” he called and she raised her head up to look at him

Irish gasped as she recalled what he said to her last night
“He loves me??” She thought, staring up at him
“Irish” Jake moved closer to her, he said on the edge of the bed and brought his hands to cup her cheeks
Irish took her lips in, she couldn’t stop staring at him and she couldn’t also stop her heart from beating fast
“How are you feeling now, does your head hurt, do you feel pain or sour?” He asked, his fingers stroking her cheeks gently
“I’m fine” she managed to reply, she made to remove his hands from her face but he suddenly hugged her tight
“Mr Jake..” she gasped out
“I’m so happy that you’re fine,to be honest I was really scared, I thought you’ll never wake up again, when I saw you in pain it felt like I wanted to die” he said hugging her tighter
Irish didn’t say anything nor struggle, she just kept listening to what he has to say
“Can you promise be to be careful from now on, not only Jenna but I also won’t be able to take it” he said
“Wait, release me first and I’ll answer you” she replied
“I won’t release you?promise that you’ll be careful next time” he said
“Okay I promise, now let go” she said and he released her
Irish took her lips inside and looked down, then looked back up again
“Mr Jake?” She called
Jake sighed and looked at her
“Can you please call me Jake for once please” he pleaded
“But why should I do that, aren’t you my boss?” She asked
“Don’t ask just please do that, I don’t like hearing you call me Mr Jake or sir or boss,I just wish you can be free with me for once” he muttered
“Why?” She wanted to ask but she just shook her head, instead she’ll ask something else
“Okay… Jake.., last night, what you said was it true?” She asked, staring at him
“What?” He asked
“Last night, when you said you… That you…” She began sweating
“Say it” Jake said softly
Irish breathed and nodded
“When you said that you love… That you love me, was it true?” She asked
Jake went silent for a long while, so she remembered clearly, well now that she knows there’s no need for him to hide it anymore
“I didn’t know how it happened” he replied and turned to stare at her with a smile
“But I’m happy I get to fall in love with someone like you after giving up on love for eight good years” he added
“Giving up on love?” She asked and he patted her cheeks softly
“I’ll share that with you later in the future when you’re mine” he replied and she suddenly coughed
“Do you wanna see your friend?” He asked after a short while
Irish looked at him and nodded happily
“Good then I’ll call her, also you must be hungry right?” He asked
Irish nodded happily again, he chuckled and tapped her nose before standing up
“I’ll be back” he said and made to leave
“Wait” she stopped him
He turned back to look at her
“What about Jenna?” She asked
“She went to school, when she’s back, I’ll bring her here, she’s been worried sick about you” he replied
“Oh, okay then” she replied
Jake winked and left
“Did he just winked at me?” She thought with creased brows, then fell on the bed, making cute sounds.

Della just received the call from Jake that Irish is awake, she didn’t wait for another second before stopping a cab and rushing over
“Irish” Della called happily when she saw Irish sitting on the bed and eating really fast
“Della” Irish smiled
Della went to hug her immediately, she hugged her tightly
“I miss you, I’m so happy you’re awake, I’m really happy” Della smiled
Irish smiled and patted her back then footsteps were heard and they both turned to see Jake entering with a bottle water
“Atleast you should let her eat and rest a little first” he said
Della nodded happily, she stepped away from Irish and watched Jake gave her the bottle water
“I’ll be waiting outside in the balcony, eat rest for how long you want and expect me later” Della winked
Irish chuckled and nodded
“Also thank you so much Mr Jake, I’m so grateful” Della smiled happily
Jake only nodded in reply
“I’ll get going now, I’m coming back, please eat and rest” Della bowed repeatedly and left, trying to contain her happiness
“I just love her” Irish chuckled and Jake nodded, she took her spoon and began playing with her food
“What’s wrong?” He asked
“I thought you said to eat and rest, why are you here?” She asked
“Oh,I’m sorry, just came to give you some water, I’m leaving now” he replied and dropped the water then maid to leave but she stopped him
“Wait” she said
He paused and looked back at her
“I’m not chasing you, if you want to stay then…” She took her lips inside
“Do you want me to stay?” He asked
“I don’t know” she muttered
Jake smiled and moved closer to sit on the bed with her
“Then I’ll stay and watch you eat” he smiled
Irish only smiled too, she took get spoon and made to take some food but he collected it from her
“Let me” he said, he took some meals and placed it gently on her lips
Irish just looked at the spoon and looked at him
“At least just trust me, even if it’s just once” he muttered
Irish slowly opened her mouth and he fed her with a smile, after eating up to four spoon in silence she looked at him
“Thank you Mr Jake” she said lowly
“Huh?, What for?”
“Everything, taking care of me and all, ok really grateful” she replied
“It’ll be compared to nothing of how I’ll spoil you when you finally become mine one-day” he smiled
“You!! You keep saying that what about my friend, she loves you too, don’t you think you should say those things to her?, You’re making me feel bad, like she’s right about me being a bch and letting you…
Jake shut her up by putting another spoon in her mouth
“If she really loves me then she won’t say or do all that, she won’t drug me or call you names, there’s a difference between love and obsession, she’s obsessed and it’s a really bad thing, me liking you doesn’t make me a monster because it’s what my heart want, I’m just trying to give it a try and besides…” He cupped her cheeks gently
“I know, I have absolutely one hundred percent fate that you’re mine, you belong to me, I just wish you can open up a bit to me and see how serious I am” he said softly
Irish stared at him and blinked lightly
“But… But what if you’re obsessed with me?” She asked
Jake laughed at her question and took his lips in, he looked at her and shook his head
“I’m not, I know, I can feel it and besides I’ll never let it that way cause I have absolutely control of myself, if by everything and I noticed you can’t love me back then I’ll let you go for good but now, now that there’s no one in this heart of yours..” he pointed her chest
“Why not let me tame it?” He asked
“Pfft, if you can then good luck” she rolled her eyes, he looked at her and they both laughed
“Open up you still have to eat remember?” He said, pointing the spoon at her mouth
She nodded and opened her mouth, he fed her while she smiled happily

“I really do miss you a lot” Della smiled, actually Irish is done eating and Jake said it’s okay for Della to come in
“Hmm, you look shinning what’s the secret is it beau?” Irish asked, sitting on the bed properly
“I wish it was, he’s really annoying how can you be allowing a girl to control you, Sally keep pushing him around like a dull and he don’t even bother stopping her” Della scoffed
“Ah, never liked him from the beginning, I hate gentle guys, so who’s it then?” She asked
“Remember Jeffery from J designs, it’s him” Della smiled
“No way” Irish screamed
“Yes way, he helped me buy some face treatment to clear the bruises that Kay.. Della immediately shut her mouth
“Kaylee, what did Kaylee do?” Irish asked
Della sighed and shook her head
“I don’t know what has gotten over her but I’m certain that she’ll regret it, she left the house” Della said
“What, why, how?” Irish asked
